Shortly after announcing his illegal and unilateral plan to attack the Second Amendment Hussein Obama took to CNN for a “town hall” meeting on gun violence. These meetings used to happen at actual town halls. There citizens came to voice their opinions. Discussion proceeded on issues of civic importance. People gathered to either solve problems or do good things. Now these events, especially if they involve a prominent politician, are scripted theatrical productions designed to sway the television obsessed masses.

So it was on CNN the other night. Obama, with the arrogant air of a second-rate college professor, presumes everyone agrees with his communist views. He thinks all will rejoice in his policies. The event was carefully coordinated to project the sentiment. A few well placed plants gave the superficial illusion of dissent and debate. Still, the President controlled the show.

I have previously dismissed Hussein Obama’s plan of action for what it is, freedom control not gun control. Now I will dismiss another of his (“town hall”) lies about gun control. Barry “disputed the notion that most criminals got guns illegally or through personal connections, making background checks — a major focus on his policy initiative on guns — of little utility.” CNN.

The vast majority, almost the totality, of over the counter gun purchases are made by decent people for lawful purposes. Hussein Obama knows this. He knows too that criminals and terrorists will keep circumventing checks and regulations just as they do laws against murder and mayhem. Then again, he’s not trying to stop violence by criminals. Rather, he wants to stop those decent people with their lawful intentions. His plan is to insidiously peck away at freedom.

Thus he lies about criminals using legally obtained weapons to carry out crimes. As if in poetic answer, at nearly the same time the liar preached to his choir, one of Hussein Obama’s Muslim ISIS buddies shot a Philadelphia police officer with a stolen police firearm. This is the truth. Criminals act, from end to end, as criminals. No legal gun purchases, no legal actions.

Lies versus reality.

Obama, a likely Muslim and immigrant himself, is determined to flood America with more people of his own persuasion. The entire West is in danger of being overrun by terrorist invaders – welcomed by our lying scum “leaders.” They pretend the invaders are helpless refugees fleeing oppression while the great and noble powers actively fight ISIS and other groups in places like Iraq, Syria and Libya.

The truth of that matter is that the U.S. and the West created ISIS. Colonel Gaddafi warned the West of the rise of ISIS in Libya and it’s threat to Europe. Libya was then destroyed by Britain, France and the United States, allowing the terrorists to flourish. The overthrow of Gaddafi benefitted British arms dealers and British and American bankers to the tune of hundreds of billions of (stolen) dollars. They gained riches while the people of Paris, San Bernardino and Philadelphia gained death and violence – just as Gaddafi predicted.

Lies versus reality.

The American stock markets just posted their worst opening week in history. Most global markets are in dire straits. The official lie is that things are fine and the economy is recovered and strong. Jim Cramer tells his CNBC audience not to worry. It’s time to buy, buy, buy. They said the exact same thing just before the bottom fell out in 2008.

Now even the likes of George Soros warn its 2008 again. He is part of the ongoing problem and should know. The reality is that there has been no substantial recovery from the last recession and now we are due for another. In the interim the Banksters have been kept afloat by hideous government spending sprees, public debt, and outright theft. The middle classes have seen no benefit.

What we have gained is more leeching immigrants, more state-sponsored terrorists, and more jobs for those groups (and only for them).

Lies versus reality.

Through all of this our “leaders” have turned against us – from Hussein Obama to Merkel. Merkel’s Germany is being plagued on a Biblical scale by violent “refugees.”

During new years celebrations in Germany scores of native women were assaulted and molested by immigrant invaders. Merkel’s police did nothing. When the oppressed women later protested, Merkel sent the Polizi in force to disperse the protestors.

Merkel’s days are numbered as are most of Europe’s treasonous leader’s. Europeans are sick and tired of being victimized by Islamic savages and by their own governments. The results may not be pretty.

Lies versus reality.

Stop supporting these degenerate monsters. Ignore their election year rhetoric. See them for what they are – thieves, enablers, destroyers, murderers. It’s their convenient lies versus our harsh reality.

As predicted here President Obama yesterday rolled out his “common sense” gun control edict. Edict it was, without any representative pretense. I saw a teary-eyed man surrounded by myrmidons issue a royal proclamation. Since the earliest days of the Old Republic chief executives have crafted executive orders needed to carry out the laws enacted by Congress. But, then, there was a distinction. Laws were debated and passed by the legislature nominally accountable to the people. Presidents issued orders concerning either compliance with those laws or with the very few duties existing in Article Two of the Constitution.

Today Congress rams through secret spending boondoggles that no one has read and no one outside of Washington and New York needs or wants. Members of the House and Senate live in their own little world far removed from reality. The current crop of pitiful presidents, of whom Barry is merely the latest, fill in the governing gaps with a series of orders which are in effect law. As with the actual legislation from Congress the executive orders are occasionally reviewed by the corrupt, incompetent courts. More often than not the black-robed sorcerers give deference to the political branches by allowing these fascist decrees to stand.

The Constitution slowly rots under glass. The people slowly rot amid their televisions, sports, fast food, and disability applications. Nothing remains of the old America except for old John Wayne movies and the proliferation of private firearms. At any other time in history this latter relic would be of utmost concern to the hellish legions of political scum.

The Second Amendment has been firmly if inexplicably cemented into the legal and political fabric of the nation. And everyone is armed – heavily. Not that it really matters. The most heavily armed people in the world have proven themselves unwilling or incapable of using their vast potential to fight tyranny. Disarmament is the final plank of the Communist manifesto needed to complete the conquest of the United States. However, by dumbing themselves down and by being fervently preoccupied with perpetual nonsense the people have rendered obsolete this otherwise crucial step. It’s as bizarre as any plot from The Twilight Zone.

Bizarre too was Hussein Obama’s Tuesday performance. I’m confident Barry and his clan of leeches and roaches would love to confiscate all private arms. But, again, he doesn’t have to. The people obviously are madly in love with the government and are willing, nay demanding, of any manner of deprivation.

So it was that the Whitehouse debuted some of the weakest gun control every seen. It was introduced in as weak a fashion possible too.

Obama channeled his inner John Boo-Hoo Boenher while a host of unemployable sycophants looked on in vacuous approval. CNN.

All of this was scripted and predictable. A corrupt politician seizes on a non-issue (gun violence). Grown men and women who should otherwise be at work gather in solemn support. The political rodent cries about the deaths of a few children (tragic, yes) but his tears are hypocritical. The same man uses his military to murder other children while signing legislation funding an industry that murders a million more babies each year. The loyal opposition is neither. The comatose people remain unconcerned and uneducated.

And he cried. Tears. A man cried on television while breaking the law. Cried. George Washington never cried that we know of. Putin does not resort to tears. ISIS must have laughed at this pathetic spectacle. The delivery is one reason I say this program is weak. Another is the minimalist, chipping-away nature of the plan.

Some of Obama’s garbage may be dismissed by the courts or over-ridden by Congress. It all should be. It’s all unconstitutional and illegal. However, I imagine some will remain intact and what survives will serve as precedent and a building block for further incremental infringement. This is the insidious side of the fiat decree. What the rats cannot accomplish by a serious ban of guns they will attempt through a series of small reforms.

The Whitehouse claims: “President Obama has a responsibility to do everything in his power to reduce gun violence.” The Constitution gives the President no such power. No mind. This claim is a lie; none of Obama’s proposals will hinder violence – only freedom.

As part of the lie the President uses some numerical smoke and mirrors:

Whitehouse lies.

So, based on these one-sided figures, Emperor Obama is taking action! Notice the use of numbers over a decade rather than by the year? Notice the lack of data on lives saved by guns? It’s over a million a year or 10 million each decade. These numbers are equivalent to the number of children killed in abortion clinics or the number of violent jihadis Obama would like to import. Of course presenting all sides of the equation wouldn’t help the agenda. All lies, remember, in order to curtail freedom. Gun control does nothing to stop gun crimes. The government wants more crime so as to justify its continued existence.

If they wanted less crime and less violence they would concentrate on enforcing laws against real crimes (murder, rape, etc.) and not on plants, tax form irregularities and speed limits. They would stop stirring up terrorists only to ship as many as possible to America. They would stop murdering babies. That’s not the plan. The plan is to further burden innocent people.

Here’s how it may work out for us. Currently all gun sales by federally licensed dealers are subject to regulation and background checks. All of this violates the Second Amendment but more on that another day. Private gun sales are subject to nothing. That’s about to change. Obama is intent on unilaterally redefining what or who constitutes a dealer requiring a license and copious red tape. Want to sell or give a gun to your son, friend, or the dude on Craigslist? Just one gun? Congratulations! You are now a gun dealer! Ready your checkbook. The licensing process ain’t cheap.

Obama will also dramatically expand the ranks of those prohibited from owning guns via two steps. First, Obama and his cronies will order doctors to violate federal law (HIPPA) by reporting “mentally ill” patients to the FBI. The definition of mental illness will be left to unelected and unaccountable beaurocrats. Abuse will be rank. The FBI and the ATF will swoop in to seize weapons from those deemed mentally defective.

Certain Social Security recipients will also be stripped of their rights and their guns. The theory is that those deemed incapable of making certain financial decisions should also be deemed too dangerous to own guns. Who does the deeming and under what circumstances remains to be seen. This will address the epidemic of nursing home shootings you’ve heard nothing about.

Current illegal law restricts those convicted of felonies or adjudicated by a court to be psychotic. These restrictions are based on laws passed by the legislature not by one sick, crying man’s order. I say they are illegal because they are. They came about in the 20th Century in violation of the Second Amendment. If someone is so dangerous due to illness, defect, or criminal predilection, then they should be locked away somewhere. If released into free society, they should be free.

As problematic as the current law is at least it was passed through the legal process. It also requires Due Process. A felon must be convicted. The deranged must be legally declared so. It requires a trial or a hearing. It depends on legal representation, confrontation of witnesses, evidence, and an appeals process. Law and order stuff. The coming program will be based on whim.

Some pencil pusher will decide who is unfit to bear arms based on whatever factors the pusher sees as appropriate. Stormtroopers will be dispatched to forcibly disarm the victims or kill them if they “resist.” Should a victim survive it will be incumbent upon him to appeal the beaurocrat’s decision. He will bear all the costs and burdens of proof in this uphill battle. He, presumed innocent until proven guilty, will have to prove his innocence to a degenerate system.

This will all start small and slow. Tyranny usually does so begin. Some provisions may fall in court. However, if these reforms are tolerated, more and more will follow. Beaurocratic expansion is a constant.

Will this be tolerated? The NRA and the State of Texas have already murmured against the plan. Yet, I suspect the majority of our citizens will do nothing because they know nothing. Legal reality interferes with the fun of reality television and other trappings of modern stupidity.

The government and political establishment are counting on you to be complacent. The control freaks on the left will expect your appreciation for being shielded from nothing. The charlatans on the right will expect your votes so they can “fix” things. If placated, both will get what they want and collectively do nothing except more of the same.

A brave few will resist. A few more will cheer what they wrongly perceive as protection from the violent. Most will remain blissfully ignorant. Where do you fall?

President Obama spoke 1910 words Sunday on the threat of Islamic terrorism. Actually he only used 160 words for ISIS. He spoke almost as many, 131, chastising Americans for owning guns and another 372 telling Americans what a bunch of racists they are. His speech on terrorism was only 8% terrorism and 27% It’s all your fault. The remaining 65% was empty political babble.

Gun control, says Obama will stop terrorism. He has the brilliant idea to restrict gun ownership for anyone on the government’s “no fly” list. This almost sounds like the common sense reform liberals are always going on about.

The problem, one of them, is that the list is compiled in secret with a total absence of Due Process. One can land on the list for any reason or for no reason. There’s little one can do about it. To be deprived of Second Amendment rights one needs to be convicted in a court of law or have a court agree with a physician’s assessment about mental health. There has to be a trial or a hearing. Attorney representation. Examination. Appellate procedure. Notice. Evidence. Due Process. A former Constitutional law professor should know that.

Not to be outdone, Republican front-runner Donald Trump has called for a total moratorium on Muslims entering the United States. I have no idea how the word count worked out.

Muslim control, says Trump, will stop terrorism. Again, there’s a temptation to agree with The Donald here. Most Islamic terrorists are, in fact, Islamic. His recommendation set off a firestorm amongst his GOP and Democratic rivals. I found it a comical firestorm.

Trump’s plan is full of problems. For one, it won’t, by itself, fix the problem. Unless and until the U.S. starts minding its own business, terror-prone lunatics will never cease to wish us harm. It would be better to let them all continue their centuries old feuds by themselves and far away. Our business, concerning terrorism, should consist entirely of stamping it out in America. We don’t need to venture abroad in search of ISIS as they are right here, right now. San Bernardino. Chattanooga. Boston. A man who travels the country should know that.

Both of these suggestions are somewhat tempting and may appear somewhat plausible. They are very, very simple. Our problems a little more complex. That is the trouble. Mencken said: “For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.”

America is under assault from Islamic terrorism. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the murderous rampage in San Bernardino. The FBI, almost reluctantly, has opened a terrorist investigation over the attack. It almost seems like an afterthought.

First, Loretta Lynch (does her name need a trigger warning?), head of the Justice [SIC] Department, which includes the FBI, announced she would prosecute any American who encourages violence against Muslims. Why threaten us first? As far as I know, no one has called for violence against any Muslims other than those involved in terrorism. In other times they would have been referred to as the enemy.

I suppose we are the enemy now of this debased government. While there are occasions when free speech ceases to be free, they are rare. A call for violence must be reasonably calculated to incite immediate violent, unlawful action before it may be considered criminal. It’s a tenuous standard at best. Not that that matters to Lynch. Her goal is to silence opposition against the regime’s plan to turn America into a burning third world wreck.

The federal government doesn’t like you and your freedom – especially your free speech aimed at it. In this former land of the free, people are being charged with felonies just for handing out pamphlets about the truth. The government finds the truth inconvenient.

If the First Amendment is a threat to the government, then the Second is extremely dangerous to them and just as critical for us. Gun violence has been falling nationwide for years except in “gun free zones.” Soft targets are easy targets. California is a model for the type of control the gun grabbers harp about for the rest of the country. It’s a model that doesn’t work. The UK is virtually gun free (the free people are gun free at least). That didn’t stop some ISIS bastard from attacking people on a London subway yesterday. Paris has stringent gun control too.

These facts are some of the inconvenient truths which hinder the government’s plans. Never one daunted by reality, President Obama tells us more gun regulations will deter terrorism. The fool says this as he simultaneously creates more terrorists abroad and imports as many of them as he can to the States. He’s scheduled to address the nation on these issues. He’ll probably blame you. He’s at war with us. It only makes sense he wants to disarm his enemies.

President Obama: “Blah, blah, blah, blah. Your fault!” Google.

In the government’s eyes it is your fault the terrorists are so mean. They would behave if you weren’t so bigoted. Any bad thing that happened is your fault. It is not the fault of those who carried it out. You have too many scary guns. You say too many truthful facts. You don’t care enough. You don’t pay enough. Your fault, all of it.

In fact, any of this only becomes your responsibility if you go along with the official lies and destructive programs. Obama boldly states his lies. Where are all the Republican candidates on these issues? They’re in their pathetic poll-based fantasy world calculating. We can take their silence as either disinterest or approval.

Elsewhere a few leaders dare tell the truth. They deserve credit. Sheriff Arpio of Arizona is calling the armed citizenry to vigilance. So is the police chief of Detroit. Opposition leaders in France are riding the wave of anti terrorism to victory. These few are putting their people first and the enemy last – or the enemy dead.

Like it or not a war is underway. Pick your side. Choose freedom and be free. Choose the government and what happens will be your fault.

Moving on from Paris we now have San Bernardino. No doubt this was an act of terrorism, even if the terrorists lacked official connections. Farooq Saeed and Tashfeen Malik and company brought jihad to a meeting at a center for the disabled. I have a theory.

Farooq worked for the county as a health inspector or something similar. Malik was a likely girlfriend. The center was run by nonprofits. Catholic Social Services is a nonprofit. CSS works hard to import “refugees” into the U.S. some refugees may need the assistance of centers like this one.

Farooq probably had a grudge against someone at the center based on what he considered ill treatment of a refugee or a similar person. He went to the meeting to pick a fight. They kicked him out. Moments later he and his cell members returned armed to the teeth. Murder, murder, murder.

My theory cannot be far off the mark.

The police responded with extraordinary speed and power. Maybe they were prepared for this type of event. Maybe they were waiting on this specific crime to happen.

The national media was ready too. Their initial coverage almost seemed pre-packaged – militia types with assault rifles. Barry, on cue, immediately blamed ordinary Americans and our guns. He hates both.

We have deadly serious problems in this country. Like the rest of the West we’re being overrun by foreign invaders who want to destroy everything in their path. They’re “fleeing” wars cooked up by the government. The government brings them here. The government is waging an indirect war on us.

Right you are, Barry. Nothing ordinary here. This is a plot. Twitter.

We still have the means to fight back, being the most heavily armed people on earth. The government knows this and sees it as an obstacle. Thus the gun control angle.

Throughout history states have used false flag events to seize power. Or, they make good use of “natural” tragedy for the same purpose.

Some Americans are awake. Others are hiding in safe rooms, playing Call of Duty, obsessing over filthy celebrity trash, or cheering on the political theater. The gov counts on these weapons of mass distraction.

The wars, invasion, and gun/culture control are like a hurricane bearing down on us. A second storm of equal magnitude is converging.

The government’s wars and social engineering/ destruction programs are expensive. $674 Billion in a day expensive. The necessary funny money and control apparatus is wrecking the economy.

Those in the know, regardless of position, are sounding the alarms. Gerald Celente, Citi Group, and High Priestess Yellen have sounded off just this week. Yellen’s interest rate announcement yesterday was as surprising as she is attractive. The Fed is trapped in its own bubble and out of options. A rate hike would crash (into the bedrock) the economy today, not just next year per schedule.

Like the jihad the financial woes are global. Greeks will soon have to declare valuable assets when preparing tax returns. That’s so their belongings can be stolen to help the Banksters help the government help the robbery victims. It could happen anywhere. It could happen here and probably will – again. We saw it previously in the 1930s.

The storm collision is tracking hard and fast. Best move the Andrea Gail to safe harbor if possible.

I don’t think I would trade living in these crazy times for anything (maybe 7th Century Switzerland?). Things are so entertaining as to almost defy belief.

First, a little news from here. Last month was the biggest and best month in blog history. Thank you, all! My fledgling YouTube channel also appears off to a good start – in spite of the technical limitations. Sales of the HLCB have already exceeded my expectations and another, non-cigar book release is imminent. Great things are ahead.

Elsewhere, entertainment value aside, things look topsy-turvy at best.

A month has yet to pass since the devastating yet predictable terrorist attacks in Paris. The attackers were “refugees” brought in by the deluded “leaders” of the West. It is widely acknowledged there is no way to separate the terrorists from the oppressed. The lesson learned? Hell, let’s bring in more of both!

It’s like playing chicken with a semi. It may be fun if you survive but if you don’t, you don’t.

Since the attacks the U.S. alone has received 132 Syrian “refugees.” Every one of them is a Muslim. I have nothing against Muslims per se but they, especially these, have a demonstrated animosity towards the West. There are Christians in Syria. Are they unaffected by the war? Most of the 132 are young, healthy males (of fighting age). What about the families they leave behind? Maybe they hang out safe with the Christians.

President Obama tells us it is our moral obligation to support the “refugees” – at the same time he carries out insane policies which help create them. Why is it only us with the obligation? Why only the West?

According to Amnesty International, since the beginning of the Syrian civil war Saudi Arabia has not accepted a single Syrian refugee. Neither has Kuwait. Neither has Qatar. Neither has the United Arab Emirates. These nations are absolutely swimming in money, and yet they have slammed the door on these desperately needy Islamic refugees. So what precisely does that tell us?

In addition to the money, the Saudis have the resources. They have empty refugee centers which could house all of the affected people. And, they are closer to Syria too.

Who are these centers for? Google.

China and Japan are wealthy countries and yet they seem to shirk their obligations. Why? Maybe it’s because they don’t want or need terrorism at home.

Vox Day notes the hand wringing of the left over the refugees’ plight once they reach the West and are not welcomed with open arms or as conquerors. What world do these people live in?

Obama and his cohorts (except from France now) are oblivious to the effects of the invasion. That, or they support it. Instead they continue to push fascist gun control and communism masked as climate change reform in order to address problems that just don’t exist.

It’s fascinating and it would be funny if it were not deadly serious. How much longer will the people continue to support these suicidal fantasies? History, as a guide, isn’t too encouraging.

An analogy:

A house is burning down. The occupants are concerned for their safety, their lives. Their leader, the owner of the house, is oblivious to the conflagration. Suddenly, as the flames reach new heights of intensity, he stops and decries a picture which hangs crooked upon the wall. He doesn’t fix it. He just lectures the terrified people about the picture – while the house burns. This story can’t end well.

As for Daniels’s lyrics, even if government were included among the criminals, I would still require serious consideration before going along with his premise. However, his melodious intent is clear. First things first. Deal with the problems – the trouble-makers – before bothering the civil and the decent.

The analogized burning house is America. She is besieged by a host of problems – abortion, terrorism, debt, government tyranny – which may well reduce her to smouldering ruins. The fool fixated on the small issue while ignoring the rest is dear leader Obama.

In his twisted thinking, because the economy has not already collapsed, there is no trouble brewing. Just because angry primitives haven’t killed every American yet doesn’t mean we could not do without a few more, or many more, of them amongst us. No thought needs be given to a million babies brutally murdered every year by a government-funded industry of blood.

The problem he sees, his crooked picture on the wall, is us. We, the people, and our arms are his concern. The fact of the purely anecdotal nature of the crookedness is no deterrent. An isolated incident here and there is all the evidence the lackadaisical dictator needs.

In Colorado a deranged, bearded, babbling wild man killed three people at a Planned Parenthood killing clinic. No estimate is provided as to how many unborn (and perhaps birthed) children have met a grizzly fate there. No mention of the failed mental health system and its relationship (or lack thereof) with demented, cabin-dwelling nut jobs. ISIS? Who’s that? The problem Obama sees is guns, guns in our hands. All of us. Even that majority of us who do not drift the countryside shooting as we mutter. Especially us, for the armed and the sane are a constant threat to the trivially obsessed and the criminally governing.

After the shooting Obama declared, “enough is enough.”

Reacting to the shooting, Obama made an impassioned call for tighter controls on military-style weapons.

“This is not normal. We can’t let it become normal,” a frustrated Obama said.

“If we truly care about this … then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them.”

He and I would be in agreement if by “people who have no business” he meant the mentally ill and the potentially dangerous. He doesn’t. He means me … and you. Agree we do not.

The killing in Colorado was terrible. All of it, not just the loss of lives and the injuries. That the shooter’s illness went untreated amidst the world of modern medicine and resources was terrible. That a place of such evil exists to give him demented focus is terrible. The President’s political exploitation is terrible.

A million dead babies a year is not hyperbole; it is a tragic fact. More tragic is that most abortions are committed for sake of convenience. All the while, a million American families wish they had a baby to adopt.

Obama and his party enjoy a cozy relationship with the industry. The loyal opposition, the gutless Republicans, do nothing. The people largely live on unconcerned.

In such circumstances it is often the crazy who alone will act. Being crazy their attempts usually miss the mark, they are self-defeating. Miguel de Cervantes’s titular Don Quixote was a madman, albeit heroic. His understanding of his wooden monsters was askew but, nevertheless, he attacked with righteous zeal. His loyal Sancho looked on. Few others took any notice of his quest or any reason (real or fanciful) behind it. So it is in America.

All the West is under invasion by jihadis. Their crimes Obama glosses over. He tells us it is only American to give them aid and comfort, to bring them home. Suicide has never been a lauded American trait.

Ever a politician and a contradiction Obama tells us, on the one hand, we must suffer more and more unvetted “refugees.” Just because. Self-presevation against their terrorist elements does not stem the flow. However, when a lunatic invades Obama’s sanctuary, jumps the Whitehouse fence, Obama permits his legion of guards and attack dogs to protect him. Live as he says, not as he lives.

For the liberal left the root of any problem is our guns. Crime, our guns. Terrorism, our guns. Our guns, our guns. The useless “conservatives” only maintain nominal opposition as it provides them an excuse to hold power. Otherwise, as with most things, they really don’t care.

The good news for the free is the fact of the guns themselves. Of old rifles and shotguns were the province of white men in the country. Now everyone is armed. Blacks, whites, women, men, city folks, bumpkins – everyone sees the value of prepared defense. For all the clamour of the hand-wringing left, even the law has settled behind the people. And, there are just too many of us now. They, unless they would risk a real war, have lost this one. For now, at least, we have beaten this windbag’s windmill.

Never underestimate the awesome stupidity of the state. The unfolding Islamic invasion has shed new light on government efforts to plumb the depths of idiocy.

Despite the obvious and lethal failure of the 21st Century mass migration/third world conversion policies the statists still want more. More when even a little is extremely dangerous.

Analysts think the Parisian attacks may have cost the terrorists less than $10,000. That price divided by $925 gives you the approximate number of jihadis we’re told were directly involved. Amazing. You pay for your own demise. Convenient.

Nothing can be easy or cheap enough for them. Any solution for you must be prohibitively expensive; it must not be allowed. A review of the emerging video and photo footage of the attacks reveal instances where an armed citizen could have returned fire on the savages. This might not have turned the tide but it would have broken some waves. It would have sent a message – a message the government does not want.

France has restrictive gun laws. At least normal people are restricted. The laws don’t seem to slow criminals at all. Another government failure. Yet the fools have already called for more restrictions. A rumor circulates that his Excellency Obama will use his final year in office in an attempt to move American gun laws closer to the perfection of places like France. If successful, we will see similar results.

The “refugees” stream into America even as I write. Many are not waiting for generous welfare handouts; they’re coming in illegally and undocumented. They also seem to be disproportionately young, healthy men. Things must be very bad indeed if they choose to abandon their women, children and elders in the war zones.

Young, healthy Syrian men have been arrested in Honduras, headed for America with fake Greek passports. That doesn’t prove them terrorists but it does prove an oddity. More were caught at the Texas border. At least these were stopped. Many make it in – illegally or officially.

Al-CIA-da members have already been arrested after using the refugee ruse to settle in Kentucky. Again, young, healthy, weapon wielding men. No word about their families left behind. The U.S. admits there may be dozens more terrorists unaccounted for. Lax background checks are blamed. I blame government stupidly.

Government programs are a study in serious failure. The TSSA, allegedly created to protect us from terrorists, can’t even detect weapons in 75% of test cases. Very reassuring. They do excel at strip-searching grandmothers and college girls. This foolishness costs us a fortune too.

Our government only wants to resettle “refugees” of terror-prone Islamic nature. Any others need not apply. Of 827 Somalian “refugees” brought to America in a 6 week period, only one was a Christian, the rest, all of them, Muslim. It’s the same with Syrians and all others. They only come into Western nations. Wealthy, peaceful Middle Eastern countries will not have them. Saudi Arabia has tent cities up and ready – capable of comfortably housing millions – but they have not accepted a single “refugee.” What does that tell you?

The sleeper agents are here and they are preparing more attacks. ISIS is already threatening D.C. and Times Square with Paris-style violence. It will happen again. And again. And, probably, again. All thanks not to lax checks and enforcement, but to open and reckless abandonment of the people by their government.

Prepare as you can and remember all of this when the shyster politicians beg you for your votes.

The Second Amendment: English Common Law Pre-History

In my last column in this series I ended by reviewing some of the ancient British customs regarding arms and defense. This article concerns those more readily available but still usually uncited English legal traditions dating to several hundred years before the American Revolution. Again, as with purely ancient intellectuals, those who preserved and lived this period of history regarded the rights of defense, self-preservation, and, necessarily, arms to be the stuff of natural law. They regarded these rights as to defense from criminals, defense against foreign threats, and, particularly, as to thwarting domestic tyranny.

This common law tradition was already set in writing in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries with the Assize of Arms (1181) and the Magna Carta (Great Charter, 1215). In 1285 the Statute of Winchester mandates that all citizens provide arms, according to their respective abilities, for militia usage. Through this period and until the seventeenth century, England had little in the way of a professional military or police force. Citizens were expected to do their part in order to fulfill both roles. This meant that the people were expected (required even) to keep and, at times, bears their own arms.

Two calamitous events during the seventeenth century dramatically effected the legal tradition: the Civil War of 1642 and the Glorious Revolution in 1688. While the former is often painted as a power struggle and the latter a religious conflict, both were concerned foremost with who would control the power of the Crown. In 1689, these and other events, lead to the English Bill of Rights. The Bill was fully known as “An Act Declaring the Rights and Liberties of the Subject and Settling the Succession of the Crown;” in light of the recent religious (power) struggles it was riddled with references to Protestants and Catholics, which I will disregard here as unnecessary.

Very similar in nature to the American Declaration of Independence, the Bill lists a litany of charges against the late King James, II. Among these were the following: “[R]aising and keeping a standing army within this kingdom in time of peace without consent of Parliament, and quartering soldiers contrary to law;” and “[C]ausing several good subjects … to be disarmed … contrary to law.”

Accordingly, the Lords assembled at Westminster declared certain rights and liberties as inviolable. Two of these addressed the above problems: “That the raising or keeping a standing army within the kingdom in time of peace, unless it be with consent of Parliament, is against law;” and “That the subjects … may have arms for their defence suitable to their conditions and as allowed by law.”

The Reader will recall that standing armies were a feared tool of tyranny during and after the American Revolution and also as far back as the days of the Roman Republic. The presumed method for national defense (against all agents of evil) was a heavily armed citizenry which could assemble as needed in the form of a militia. The seventeenth century also saw increased professionalism and modernization within the English militia. This, in turn, partly gave way to the ensuing establishment of a permanent “Redcoat” army as the Kingdom gradually assumed the role of a major world Empire.

As we well know, part of that Empire was based here, in North America, in the territory which eventually became the United States. Those earliest parts (colonies) were first established at Jamestown in 1607 and at Plymouth in 1620. These had been preceded by the lost/abandoned colonies of Popham (Maine) in 1607 and Roanoke in 1585.

Jamestown was the site of numerous battles and all out wars fought between the English and the native indians (Chesapeake). It was the birthplace of the modern state of Virginia. In 1691 Plymouth Colony merged with The Massachusetts Bay Colony in what is now modern Massachusetts, all being part of the greater Dominion of New England.

Plymouth, from the very start was a model citizen militia society. While a few students today are still aware of the Pilgrims and their Atlantic crossing aboard the Mayflower, fewer still are knowledgable as to the martial force necessary to carve out the new world. The Mayflower’s first stop was at Provincetown Harbor in November of 1620. Desiring a better location, and to take advantage of the hospitable New England winter, they later removed to Plymouth at the end of December. Most remained aboard ship while a team of men worked during the day to raise a village from the ground. Twenty armed men were left ashore every night to prevent marauding. These men were average citizens who provided their own weapons; 911 was not an available option.

Early relations with the local indians were mixed at best. As more and more colonists arrived the indians perceived the impending loss of their lands and many became hostile. Myles Standish was a trained military officer and was placed in charge of security in the new colony. Many view him as somewhat of a hot head. At any rate he was forced to organize militias from among Englishmen in order to repel attacks by natives. “Major” wars erupted in 1637 and 1675. Each time the militia was sent forth to battle, not any group of regular troops. It was by the force of common people bearing arms that America was crafted from the central-eastern part of the continent.

Regular military units were called in during the next century first to assist and bolster the militias against common enemies (the French) and, later, to do battle with the militia. This latter action contributed greatly to the Founders’ desire for a continued militia force instead of a full-time army in young America. The early Americans were also governed in their views by the pre-existing English law and several legal commentators.

Perhaps the greatest commentator of his time regarding natural defense, along with natural law and the civil laws of England in general was Sir. William Blackstone (1723 -1780). Blackstone was an attorney and politician who published from 1765 – 1769 the Commentaries on the Laws of England, a classic still refered to and cited by the law.

Blackstone’s commentary on defense and other matters, generally, has resonance even today. He famously wrote: “It is better that ten guilty persons escape than one innocent suffer.” In modern, fading America, the forces of anti-self-defense gun control stupidly prefer to disarm any and all persons, leaving them to suffer whatever fate criminals have in store for them, than to see a tiny minority of deranged persons have the possibility of committing crimes. All the more stupid is the abundant evidence that such an approach leads only to suffering innocents concurrent with rampant criminal behavior. Defiance of natural law is as successful as defiance of gravity or physics.

Chapter One, Book One of Blackstone’s treatise is entitled: On the ABSOLUTE Rights of Individuals (emphasis added). The final absolute right of individuals set forth therein is “that of having arms for their defense.” Blackstone called this right “a public allowance, under due restrictions, of the natural right of resistance and self-preservation, when the sanctions of society and laws are found insufficient to restrain the violence of oppression.”

Blackstone went into further detail, describing the various remedies available to the people in cases of tyranny: first, use of the courts; second, petitions to the King and to Parliament; and finally, when all else fails, having and using their arms to repel tyranny.

At last we draw near to that time when the American colonists repelled the tyranny of the mother country. In my next segment I will discuss the traditions regarding defense and arms in America before the introduction of the Second Amendment. As with their ancient predecessors, these traditions echoe still in our modern world.

Continuing from Part One… In 2003, the beautiful, talented, and aptly named Star Parker wrote a book called Uncle Sam’s Plantation, http://www.amazon.com/Uncle-Sams-Plantation-Government-Enslaves/dp/1595552235 (revised 2010). In this work she relates her previous experiences in and working her way out of “welfare.” I call it “welfare” because her subject matter is what most people think of when they think of welfare – giving money, food, ect. to poor people (deserving or otherwise).

Her book is excellent and serves as a good starting point. However, most welfare in America is not directed towards the poor, rather it consists of monies given to all segments of society through mandatory “entitlement” spending programs like Social Security and Medicare as well as massive subsidies and favors to various corporate interests. These illegal programs eat up the vast majority of the federal budget and, likely, the budgets of the States as well. None are found in or allowed by the Constitution. Remember the Constitution?

I will comment on these corporate welfare programs a little later. All you really need to know was said by the late, great George Carlin: “It’s a big club. You ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club. Ms. Parker has addressed some of this “big club” in her book. She wrote a column explaining how the banks are now on the plantation, http://townhall.com/columnists/starparker/2009/02/09/back_on_uncle_sams_plantation/page/full/. However, she misses the point that Carlin nailed. It’s the club members – the big banks (The Federal Reserve “Creature”), the big corporations, the super rich, and the ticks – that run the plantation. Really, the biggies own it and Uncle Sam is more of an overseer.

This may sound offensive to some of you – I sincerely hope so. It is one of the most offensive things facing modern Americans today. Sadly, many or most of our citizens either take the system for granted or take advantage of it. Heck, we are all involved like it or not. I detest the concept of fiat money, for example, yet I usually keep one or two of those Federal Reserve Notes in my wallet at any given time. The Big Club has rigged the system so you have to acquiesce, or else you can’t be a member of modern society.

Back to “the poor” slaves Ms. Parker wrote about. Millions of Americans are hopelessly dependent on government welfare payments to live and eat these days. At the end of 2012, more than 47 million of our citizens were on food stamps, up from 36 million in 2009. http://reason.com/blog/2012/11/21/why-are-a-record-number-of-americans-on. Many of these programs have racist origins, just like our gun control laws. However, in keeping with never-ending government expansion, today they can entrap and enslave anyone and everyone. In the old days, the theory worked like this: black people will someday inevitably be granted full civil rights in society. Therefore, let’s us Big Club members subjugate as many of them as we possibly can now so that when they do arise, most won’t be able to take advantage of their opportunities. Black schools were frequently sub-standard by white standards. Welfare programs infringed on the benefits of gainful employment and lead to the destruction of the black family unit.

Young black men, poorly educated and without any hope of finding meaningful work, turned to alternative careers – like selling drugs. The Club, in its Baphometian wisdom, instituted the “war” on drugs to put as many of these poor men as possible in chains and behind bars. The result has been an explosion in the drug trade and drug addiction, increases in related crimes, a further evisceration of the black community, and a ridiculous number of people in jail for non-crimes. Why do we have more criminals than China, which has three times our population? Are we all a bunch of scofflaw degenerates? I work in the criminal Just-Us system and I have seen poor person after poor person locked up for nothing. When I worked as a prosecutor I stayed in a state of permanent depression. It was my job to railroad people into guilty pleas (too easy to obtain) or convict them (too easy too) for no wrong-doing. I finally had to quit one day. Quitting was better than being a party to injustice. In my area of the country I estimate 90% or more of all criminal charges stem from non-crimes which have no victims. Each case, federal or state, comes with a statement of “victim impact.” Usually, the statement reads, “no victim.” Without victims how the hell can you say a crime has occurred? I bet the situation is similar wherever you live. The real victims are the falsely prosecuted persons; they are turned into slaves.

This all means that 90+% of our criminal “justice” resources are wasted. That leaves the other 10%, or less devoted to stopping or punishing actual crime. Why are the survivors of real crimes and their families always so frustrated with the laxity of the system? It’s because the system is designed to put away as many people as possible, guilty of not. There is little incentive to actively investigate and pursue murders, rapes, and other dangerous felonies. An elected prosecutor looks better to the idiot electorate by keeping a high conviction rate – which the current system guarantees.

As I said, this BS was originally aimed at black people. However, three key changes have occurred over the past decades which have altered the scheme for the universal worse. First, after the passage of the civil rights act in the 1960’s and the end of legal segregation, many black ticks were elected to office and power all across America. Atlanta has a black mayor. Detroit has a black mayor. Blacks are elected to the House and Senate. In 2008 a black man was elected President. Oddly, the system has not changed and hope seems ever fleeting. This is because black ticks, like all others, are more than willing to oppress anyone in order to keep their beloved power.

The second big change was the change in American demographics after the 1965 immigration reform law was passed. Whereas America was about 90% white and 10% black in 1960, today the country is a true melting pot of all races and cultures. All of the added people of various origins have provided additional opportunities for the ticks to run wild on our freedom.

The third change has been due to the nature of government programs themselves. Once instituted, a program or scheme never goes away. It grows by leaps and bounds, sucking in as many victims as it can find. The Club members know this and have tailored their machinations accordingly. At some point they figured out they would have more control over us if they included all of us in their slavery operations. Conversely, they do everything in the considerable power to keep people divided into classes – the whites, the blacks, the poor, the old, the gays, the Southerns, etc. It’s easier to control multiple groups if you pit them against each other over trivial nonsense. Each group spends its time preoccupied with suspicion of the other groups and forgets about who is ultimately whipping them mercilessly. The group members are slaves.

Their plot goes far beyond “welfare” programs, poor education, and institutionalized criminality. It touches on just about every facet of the lives on people who are not ultra-wealthy and well-connected. If you bother to vote, you’re pre-sorted into groups, usually Republican versus Democrat. Off the bat, your choices are limited to those of the party’s choice – the partys have a hierarchy to make sure rouges like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are minimized. They can’t risk anyone telling the truth or actually representing the People. You are a slave to those choices.

If you are lucky enough to have a job these days, you are taxed on what you earn. You pay those income taxes in addition to sales taxes, property taxes, “sin” taxes and multiple other taxes. You also indirectly pay the taxes of corporations who pass their financial burdens on to you. You pay for government debt spending. You are pay the hidden tax of inflation, caused by the incestuous relationship between the government and the illegal, monopolistic Federal Reserve. You’re real tax rate isn’t 10% or 25%, it’s more like 50 – 60%, as a percentage of your income. By comparison, under King George in the 1700’s, the average colonist paid an effective rate of about 1% of their income (again, factoring in all forms of taxation and set against income). Maybe old George wasn’t the bad guy we made him out to be? He never openly advocated the slavery of his royal subjects.

Today, if you want a house, a car, or an education, the banks will happily strap you with 5 to 30+ years of debt servitude. “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is the servant of the lender.” Proverbs 22:7. That means you are a slave.
