Gal Gadot

Another grand anniversary for my only, or best link to pop culture! And she’s been busy lately, as reported by the fan paparazzi. Something must be up, beyond the ongoing promotion of Tiffany and Co. Whatever it is, it’s also evidence the gal doesn’t age. Happy birthday, Gal.

This celebratory note, I think, will round out the April mania at this little web log. More in May.

population

On a recent drive around the very healthy and thriving, no problems republic, I noticed something that I sometimes notice. It almost looks like there are more people out and about than there used to be. On the roads, milling around various places, etc. Have you ever observed the same? If so, then your eyes are telling the truth. Since I was very young, the US population has increased by two-thirds. Back then, there was a hair over 200 million of us. Now, there are more than 330 million.

The increase has been almost 100% foreign imports and related progeny. Still, for all that, on the whole, everyone is still remarkably well behaved – rants to the contrary aside. Trend-wise, so many of us now live in cities. I noticed that small towns are still small. While urban and commercial corridors are heavily clogged, the back roads are mostly free of traffic.

What does all this suggest? Several things. But today, I’m just stating the obvious. Otherwise, happy weekend.

Anti-Pope Bergoglio ups da VOOOOAT!

The Vatican on Wednesday published the modifications he approved, which emphasise his vision for the lay faithful taking on a greater role in church affairs that have long been left to clerics, bishops and cardinals.

Ever since the Second Vatican Council, the 1960s meetings that modernized the church, popes have summoned the world’s bishops to Rome for a few weeks at a time to debate particular topics.

At the end of the meetings, the bishops vote on specific proposals and put them to the pope, who then produces a document taking their views into account.

Until now, the only people who could vote were men.

But under the new changes, five religious sisters will join five priests as voting representatives for religious orders.

At this rate, in a few years, the only people populating the fake Norco church will be SJWs, sexual curiosities, and freemasons. How it works, I do not know, but we will have to select a Pope, I suppose, and then perhaps a crusade to Rome will be in order to exorcise what’s left of the filth. Deus vult.

Lowering the Risk of Nuclear War

If one side can’t fight, then there isn’t much chance of an atomic exchange.

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NSAA), an agency in the Department of Energy, delivered its latest Stockpile Stewardship and Management Plan to Congress on Monday.

The Associated Press (AP) pointed out the absence of the deadline for ramping up production of plutonium pits – basic components of thermonuclear weapons – at the historic New Mexico facility. Last year’s report said Los Alamos would be manufacturing 30 pits per year (ppy) by 2026.

The NSAA seeks to produce 80 plutonium pits annually, with the Savannah River Site in South Carolina scheduled to ramp up production to 50 ppy by 2030.

No pits, no boom. This isn’t a bad thing. And the USSA should probably go ahead and give up on nuclear ideas, weapons and power, and concentrate on maintaining running water and petroleum.

The other day, I checked, and the Freedom Roasters Coffee site is offline. This was expected, but it stills kind of smarts. C’est la vie.

At this point, all that remains of the FP line of services are the pods at Anchor and the old YT vids. The final broadcast was my January 2023 goodbye, now almost five months old.

I’m still giving thought to a revived, independent podcast – thought with little action. I have 2 or 3 east platforms I could use. But there’s a matter of time and of timing. Time, as it turns out, will tell.

Ew! What The Heck? Schools Are So Gross

In a world gone mad, meeting those who share one’s ideas about society and civilization is a welcomed relief. I’m getting into Terry Hulsey’s distinguished and exemplary new book, The Constitution of Non-State Government: Field Guide to Texas Secession, Shotwell (2022), and I heartily recommend it as to the title matter and many other topics. I’m delighted he takes a view of public education similar to my own.

School and state must be separated, just as church and state are separated, and for the same reasons. Every family’s spiritual values are projected into the future by means of the education of its children. The results of foolishly entrusting to state officials so important a task as schooling are now manifest. All across the country kindergarteners and elementary school children are now being subjected to “transgender story hour,” to instruction in “gender fluidity,” to denial of biology, and even instruction in how to masturbate. At the secondary level, boys’ restrooms in Oregon must now by force of law supply free feminine hygiene products; and at the university level, students are taught that pederasty is not a mental disease. The state cannot even provide the most basic assurance of physical safety to students.

      • Hulsey, The Constitution…, at p. 218, Kindle p. 360.

Systemic schools certainly do not provide basic safety to their charges. Rather, they were designed to provide the opposite – the destruction of mind, soul, family, and civil stability. My friend makes a strong statement about the concurrence of legitimate state sovereignty and parental dominion over what, at the beginning and end of the day, is a sacred matter:

There can be no independent Texas without the independence of parents to fully direct the private schooling of their own children.

      • Id, at 220, 364.

Hint: this is applicable within and without the Lone Star Republic. The schools were instituted in the Nineteenth Century for the tandem purposes of training cheap factory labor and eradicating Christian Western Civilization. With those objectives largely accomplished, the schemers shifted their focus to social engineering and indoctrination. Now they have shifted into a final, terminal phase, with schools becoming little more than Moloch worship centers where children are offered as sacrifices. An older Book offers proper wisdom for dealing with such atrocity:

But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.

      • Matthew 18:6

Hello. It’s another column about schools and education, approximately number 430 if you’re keeping score. First, a “shout out” to one reader, Dixie Belle 47, who appears to have excellent tastes. I must warn you, gentle reader, this one is about to get plain disgusting. It’s a tale of Readin’, Ritin’, and Raunch, courtesy of a public Moloch temple in Washington State. (I issue a strong advisory regarding the video and pictures at that link).

A middle school principal is facing discipline for an inappropriate, “sexualized” licking game between students and staff.

Before students left for spring break, Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick hosted an assembly and fundraiser that featured a competition between students and staff. Two plexiglass panes were stationed in the middle of the gymnasium and each side of the glass had four spots of marshmallow cream. Students and staff then competed to lick it off the plexiglass, often with adult educators and their minor students licking their respective sides of the glass at once. Students in the crowd could be heard screaming, “ew,” “disgusting,” “that’s so gross,” and “what the heck?” One student yelled, “who thought that this was a good idea?”

Who, one student? Faggots and idiots, one supposes. Then again, Dr. Traci Pierce, Kennewick School District Superintendent, and potential High Priestess asserted, “There is zero evidence to suggest or support that this was in any way ‘grooming’ activity on the part of organizers or participants.” Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck… It’s a cat! Your lying eyes. Please ignore the pictures, video, and victim statements to the contrary. It’s not supposed to be that way, you see. According to the district’s website, its mission “is to provide a safe environment in which every student reaches his or her highest potential and is well prepared for success in secondary school education.” Really, what safer or higher potential is there than playing tonsil hockey with the staff?

Yes, I’m sure your child’s school is totally different. And we’re just dealing with allegations and suspicions. And evidence bordering on proof. But, seeing as how there is “zero evidence” of malfeasance, one could guess this episode was the result of a simple, silly lapse of judgment. One could also guess that Pol Pot was a kind-hearted and well-meaning man whose exuberance got the better of him.

Desert Hills Middle is the “Home of the Hawks!” If I remember correctly, hawks are birds of prey that swoop down and snare small unwary critters. Kind of the way pedophiles snare and groom kids. Zero evidence. All conjecture on my part. Do ignore the pictures, video, and victim statements.

Instead, to get a better idea of how Desert Hills raises that potential in a safe environment, consult the school’s Student Handbook, “Sexual Harassment”, p. 20:

SEXUAL HARASSMENT

Students and staff are protected against sexual harassment by anyone in any school program or activity, including on the school campus, on the school bus, or off-campus during a school-sponsored activity.

Sexual harassment is unwelcome behavior or communication that is sexual in nature when:

    • A student or employee is led to believe that he or she must submit to unwelcome sexual conduct or communications in order to gain something in return, such as a grade, a promotion, a place on a sports team, or any educational or employment decision, or
    • The conduct substantially interferes with a student’s educational performance or creates an intimidating or hostile educational or employment environment.

Examples of Sexual Harassment:

    • Pressuring a person for sexual favors
    • Unwelcome touching of a sexual nature
    • Writing graffiti of a sexual nature
    • Distributing sexually explicit texts, e-mails, or pictures
    • Making sexual jokes, rumors, or suggestive remarks
    • Physical violence, including rape and sexual assault

You can report sexual harassment to any school staff member or to the district’s Title IX Officer, who is listed above. You also have the right to file a complaint (see below). For a copy of your district’s sexual harassment policy and procedure, contact your school or district office, or view it online here: Policy: 3206 R3206.

Kids, you might not get far reporting harassment to school staff if the staffers are the ones doing the harassment. Might young students reasonably believe they have to submit to unwelcome conduct, like, say, licking teachers or what have you, in order to gain something? And might this interfere with their educational performance while creating a hostile environment? Might a touching of the tongues, even through thin plexiglass, constitute an unwanted sexual scenario? Would a random eighth-grade boy who did something similar with a girl, the way boys and girls did back in another age, run afoul of this policy? These are questions competent police officers and district attorneys would be asking if America was still governed by laws, common sense, or common decency.

Note: The district’s policy links route to a cool “404” error. I’m sure they’re not trying to hide anything. Again, zero evidence. Pol Pot = nice fellow. Etc. And maybe this wasn’t harassment. Maybe it was instruction! If it’s still up, one can watch the district’s Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Parent Preview Night video on EW(!)-tube. Learn all about how S.B. 5395 (2020) requires all 4th through 12th graders in Washington to be indoctrinated in all matters regarding sexual health – all matters, like, let’s imagine for a second, minors playing old-fashioned plexiglass spit-swap with adults. No grooming whatsoever.

One wonders when the joys of grooming, er, health “education” will become available to the tiny K-3 kids. And there really is no lower age limit for this kind of rank evil. Powerful forces far beyond the American Northwest are hard at work on satan’s behalf. Just in time for this story, the International Commission of (Homosexual) Jurists, an affiliate of the (Homosexual) United Nations, released their 8 March Principles for Sodomy and Child Sacrifice. If one has recovered from vomiting over the above-linked video, then one might enjoy an encore by reading the report. Read things like the following, at the end of Principle 14, pp. 21-22 (just above Principle 15, Abortion):

Parents, guardians, carers, or other persons who enable or assist children or people in their care, including persons with disabilities, to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights, including by procuring sexual and reproductive health services, goods or information, may not be held criminally liable, unless they have engaged in coercion, force, fraud, or there was a lack of free and informed decision-making on the part of the child or person for whom they were caring.

Wait, there’s more. From Principle 16, pp. 22-23:

With respect to the enforcement of criminal law, any prescribed minimum age of consent to sex must be applied in a non-discriminatory manner. Enforcement may not be linked to the sex/gender of participants or age of consent to marriage.

Moreover, sexual conduct involving persons below the domestically prescribed minimum age of consent to sex may be consensual in fact, if not in law. In this context, the enforcement of criminal law should reflect the rights and capacity of persons under 18 years of age to make decisions about engaging in consensual sexual conduct and their right to be heard in matters concerning them. Pursuant to their evolving capacities and progressive autonomy, persons under 18 years of age should participate in decisions affecting them, with due regard to their age, maturity and best interests, and with specific attention to non-discrimination guarantees.

All that is more than a word salad. Still, some of the words have meaning. “May be consensual in fact”. “Evolving capacities”. “Progressive autonomy”. These are not coded messages; they are overtly explaining what they’re up to. Child molestation and, ultimately, sacrifice, are the plan. It’s a policy at the international, national, state, district, and school levels. Only a maniac would force his child to participate in any such openly luciferian program. In other words… HOMESCHOOL! And, considering that degeneracy has become the norm in post-Christian ‘Murica, one might reasonably want to separate from all popular culture to the greatest extent possible or practical. In many cases, one need not wait for one’s state to secede from the pack or for the pack to fall completely apart; one can just personally, or in the familial sense, break from the madness.

Those in Washington, or other states within and without Texas, might benefit from some of the ideas Terry presents in his Secession book. And for more examples of the retarded, retarding, lecherous, and ruinous nature of the schools, with a workable alternative, please buy a copy or ten of THE SUBSTITUTE.

Deo vindice.

Sanctioning Bifurcation

It turns out that banning the unwanted little kids from one’s imperial playground only encourages them to build their own.

De-dollarization and war

This realization has prompted many countries to take action to decrease their vulnerability to sanctions, with China creating a new financial infrastructure outside US control and pushing for commodity suppliers to short-circuit the dollar. The establishment of a BRICS bank as a counterweight to the IMF is just one more step in that direction.

It remains to be seen whether the US will view widespread de-dollarization as a national humiliation and yet another pretext to go to (financial) war. But what is certain is that sanctions do not work – with the rare exception of those levied against Apartheid South Africa last century, though perhaps because these sanctions were genuinely a universally agreed upon course of global action.

Western sanctions, in contrast, are a specific coercion instrument used by only a handful of states to force” behavior change” on targeted adversaries, as seen in Iraq, Serbia, Iran, and Venezuela.

Iran, as a case in point

The Islamic Republic of Iran is an old hand at dealing with western financial coercion. It is the most sanctioned country in the world with over 4000 sanctions – until the 2022 Russian-Ukrainian conflict came into focus. Despite the oppressive regime of western economic punishments, Iran has made remarkable progress in both military and scientific fields and has established self-sufficiency milestones in vital sectors of its economy.

Read the whole thing. The other side was waiting for the triggering event and found it when the US stupidly kicked Russia out of SWIFT. This is all great for the rest of the free world. Someday, it might even be of value to Americans – if they can first rid themselves of their ruling foreign elites.

Six 5-Stars: An Omnibus Book Review

While I’d like to take the time to give each of the following works independent consideration, I do not have that time. Instead, I’ve assembled a short list of short reviews of five six (of so many) more recent books I highly recommend. Each part will be accordingly pushed at Amazon. There were five, but I added one more to the end. (Amazon is, for some odd reason, a little slow to add a few of these, but we shall see).

Getting right into it:

Andrei Martyanov, Disintegration (2021)

Almost daily, Mr. Martyanov provides learned, insightful commentary on various geostrategic matters that all thinking Westerners (and others) need to consider. Even if, especially if they do not want to. His book reads a bit like The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, if Edward Gibbon had lived during the 5th century, and had Gibbon addressed the process as it unfolded. Post-modern America has essentially rejected everything that once made it excellent. It has shunned Western Civilization itself. In fact, it increasingly shuns any civilized standards. This book keenly examines multiple “whys”, some of which go far beyond Martyanov’s usual military expertise: mindset, morals, economics, and more. The military adventurism, if one is honest, provides perhaps the most highly visible evidence of the decline. Yet, as the author notes, the United States is undeniably gripped by the “historical, psychological, and anthropological centrifugal forces of disintegration”. Before one can hope to salvage something for the future, it is important to understand what has led to the present. This book is a fine summary starting point.

Michael Hudson, …and forgive them their debts (2018)

Were one honest, and one wanted to claim a single book to demonstrate the vampiric effects of mass financial capitalism on a modern or postmodern economy, then this work would be very high on the list of available options. Hudson traces the history of usurious destruction across the ages. Time and again, the same patterns play out, a tale of credit, overextension, misaligned allegiances, corruption, decline, poverty, and immiseration. One thing that will stand out to the Western and/or Christian reader is the repetitive Biblical calls for sound economics and necessary periodic debt forgiveness. No civilization that fails to curtail financial excesses and protect its people therefrom ever lasts. Ours is no exception. But, while the contrary might seem true, it is never too late to do the right thing. In 2023, half the world is already breaking from the broken werewestern system of lies, theft, and enslavement. May the other half follow. This book lights the way.

Alexander Macris, Running On Empty (2022)

At the moment, as I write this review, de-Dollarization is all the rage around the globe. This will have ramifications for all populations and for generations to come. Some will benefit more and sooner than others. Macris’s excellent short book examines a nearly-hidden, or, rather, oft-ignored reason behind the rise, fall, and changes to and behind the Dollar Almighty. The Petrodollar was a first in world history, and perhaps a “worst” so far as economic ideas go. Instituted as a kind of emergency stopgap, it indeed served a temporary purpose for a select few beneficiaries. Their day has now ended, and many will pay the (over)due bill. It’s remarkable that many of the predictions in this book, written but a few months before my review, have already come to pass. And then some. If one wants to rapidly catch up, this is a fine place to start.

Padraig Martin, et al, The Honorable Cause (2023)

By the current, hysterical counter-reactions, one would never know or even suspect that the cause of Southern Nationalism and identity was lost. Mr. Martin and his associates have assembled a wonderful collection of short essays on the very-much-alive-and-needed cause. Herein, one will find others frequently talk about yet seldom deliver with sincerity, clarity, or intelligence – diversity. Read a grand assortment of diversity of thought concerning a People and their rightful place in the modern/post-modern pantheon of nations. While each of these presentations will or might strike the reader differently, they all point in the same, forward direction. As Martin correctly summarizes near the end, “we need to create functional parallel societies”. Given the general decay and collapse around us, that is an imperative notion. The great news for Dixie is that they, we, rather, already have such a society. In time, perhaps sooner than most imagine, we will only need to hone it a bit further and then turn it loose. Even better news: the ideas expressed in The Honorable Cause are not necessarily exclusive to Southerners. It is understood, if unpopular to admit, that many other demographic and geographic groups yearn for independence and sovereign peace and prosperity. I encourage members of all identifiable parties to consider the hopeful and honest expositions herein.

Mary Morrissy, Prosperity Drive (2016)

Humanity. Morrissy has delivered eighteen gripping short stories about, ultimately, the human condition. This book is a little outside of my ordinary reading. As such, beyond the author’s high and deserved reputation (including the esteemed recommendation of a close mutual friend), I had few expectations. Refreshingly, both expectation and reward were forged hard and fast as I plowed through the pages. There is an element, or so I gather, of feminism in the collected works – of what wave I cannot say. Yet, without saying, I was happily pulled along by the current. We people are not always pretty, pleasant, kind, or worthy, and neither are all of the characters contained between these covers. But they are all real; they feel real, recognizable, and memorable. One will find a little of many mortal commonalities herein: the beautiful, the sorrowful, the pitiful, the startling, the regrettable, the disdainful, and the mundane. There is also a recurrent notion of familiarity as the various well-painted actors revolve around the title location. One may not exactly “find” oneself in the text, though one can expect to trace a few memories, perhaps in homage to the old Welsh concept of hiraeth, the longing for a home or place that one may have never even visited before, or which is not so clearly recalled. For instance, for those who venture but a few pages in, my grandfather (not father) kept his mint-conditioned old American car in a garage packed full of lawnmowers of all things (scores of them – a hobby I suppose it was). For a moment, before being shocked, again, by the depths of human nature, I was taken back in time. It’s a fascinating ride, made all the more enjoyable by Morrissy’s flowing, alluring poetic prose. Go for it. Cruise Prosperity Drive.

Jeffrey Addicott, Union Terror (2023)

It’s remarkable to consider, in the early 21st century, that in the middle of the 19th, the only world power that gave substantial material support to Lincoln’s Union was Russia. I sometimes wonder if modern Russians consider the irony that Czar Alexander’s support for nascent US terror helped give rise to the empire that would deliver similar tactics and operations to the American Indian Tribes, Nagasaki’s Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the good people of the Donbass, and many others. Professor Addicott delivers a tour de force about a tragedy that has afflicted populations far and wide beyond the borders of Dixie. I encourage all to carefully consider, among many other points, what Addicott says and implies about the wisdom of Karl von Clausewitz, against whom there really is no intelligent arguing. A must-read for all peoples of goodwill and open minds.

Fox News, media, Tucker Carlson

The absolute last vestige of honest reporting in the MSM is gone.

FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.

Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.

I still think, though I am not 100% certain, that Tucker’s role at FAUX was to act as the gatekeeper of last resort. If I was correct, then it’s overly-indicative that the handlers feel they no longer need such an agent. In the event I was wrong, then this is proof positive that the entirety of the MSM is evil, fake, and gay.

It will be interesting to see where he goes now and what he does. Here’s wishing him well. If he’s truly free to speak the truth, then so much the better.

There is now no reason whatsoever for anyone to consume anything that passes for mainstream information. Those that do are literally their own enemies. To reverse the lyrics of a 1980 Genesis classic: turn it OFF, turn it off, turn it off again.
