From Michael Perilloux and Social Matter: Starting with Point Five:

5. Business As Usual Means We’re In Trouble

America’s imperial mode and internal divisions are unsustainable:

Both our imperial mode and our internal conflicts are hollowing us out economically, demographically, and socially. See for example: politicized mass immigration, deindustrialization, divisive anti-white, anti-Christian anti-male, and anti-traditional domestic propaganda and subversion by Blue Empire are generated by the structure of the system. These things will be the end of us unless something changes first.

We have no way to seriously oppose a belligerent China or Russia besides subversion, escalating hostility, and nuclear brinkmanship. If things were different, and we had an economically, demographically, and morally stronger empire, we would have a much stronger negotiating position, and many more options to deal with our neighbors.

Our internal conflicts lead to Putin’s famous comment, “America is no longer agreement-capable”. To be clear “not agreement capable” is a fancy technical term for “not capable of the rational deescalation needed for nuclear peace”, because what one part of our government agrees to might get ignored by another, or torn up once the other party gets in after four years.

We lack the central strength and coherence to re-industrialize the rest of our empire as economic negotiating leverage. Right now, we can’t easily threaten China with cutting off trade, because that would be a domestic disaster, as our wealth is based increasingly on imports from China. This hollowing out of our industrial core originates from a combination of internal conflict, and weak government that can’t act as a unit.

With a weak empire, we can’t impose or enforce treaties to deal with global issues like global pollution, out-of-control African population growth, dangerous transformative technologies like genetic engineering and artificial intelligence, nuclear proliferation, or any other grand problems.

If things continue as they are, we’ll be in a bad spot. Business as usual is unacceptable, but we already knew that. More importantly, any strategy for getting us out of business as usual has to take into account the above basic points of our geopolitical situation. But what does a realistic new geopolitical vision for America look like?

For context please read the first four points. The ending is a little silly but it self-acknowledges as much.

These are weighty matters. They’re not going to happen. Rather, they have happened and, thus, we find ourselves in the sorry “business as usual”. Beer, television, and blind allegiance to a failed, stupid political party won’t fix any of this.

At any rate, there is no going back. Forward it is. Downwards is definitely an option.

America, crime, immigration, invasion, terrorism

That’s the only explanation. The Ninth Circuit told the world, with a great degree of confidence, that foreign invaders come to America for academic pursuits. They are all of them scholars, teachers and students. Your state university needs them. You need them. They’re good. End of story.

So when a Turkish man, on a flight from LA to Honolulu, tried to break into the cockpit whilst over the Pacific, something else had to be at work. Possibly some kind of microaggression. Who knows? Whatever it was, it was NOT terrorism. No cause for concern and certainly no reason to wake from the slumber of the TeeVee.

A Turkish national who tried to break into the cockpit Friday of a Honolulu-bound flight was subdued by passengers and flight crew shortly after charging his way into the first-class cabin.

They used duct tape, pillows and blankets to make sure he couldn’t get out of his seat in a security scare that prompted U.S. Pacific Command to scramble two F-22 Raptors from the Hawaii Air National Guard, which escorted the flight into Honolulu International Airport about 11:35 a.m.

The man, identified as 25-year-old Anil Uskanli, was on board AA Flight 31, which departed from Los Angeles International Airport at 8:34 a.m. local time.

No reason to be alarmed. The presence of the combat aircraft was purely ceremonial. All new arrivals in Hawaii are greeted by fighter jets, much like the Hula girls and Leis of old. Upon landing, FBI agents stand in for the girls these days. It’s a party.

Vivian Lewis.

The one impressive thing here was the reaction of the passengers. Gone are the passive, pre-9/11 days. Act up now and they will duct tape you to your seat.

And – AS ALWAYS – the suspect had a prior record. He apparently even had a similar security incident that very day at LAX. These types are ALWAYS known to the authorities and they ALWAYS have a record. Always.

This one even sported a towel on his head… They don’t always self-sterotype like that.

Aloha! (literally in this case) Snackbar!

As promised last night, here is a look at a new study by the U.S. Conference of Mayors and IHS Markit:

U.S. Metro Economies: Past and Future Employment Levels, May, 2017.

The study looks 30 years into the future, taking into account demographic changes in hundreds of cities. If you’re young and looking for where the jobs will be, or if you’re older and looking for where the traffic won’t be, then this is something you need to look at.

The big city is getting bigger:

nimbus-image-1495110200000

IHS Markit.

The population numbers are in Table 8, page 54 – . New York and LA will continue to hold their top stops, first and second, respectively. But there will be five metros with populations over 10 Million and several more knocking on that level.

In 2046 Tampa will have as many people as Atlanta did when I lived there 20 years ago. And Atlanta will, then, be nearly the size of Chicago today.

In South Carolina, three cities – Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston – will exceed 1 Million people. Masters Town, USA will exceed 3/4 Million. Traffic jams and crime will ensue. And jobs. The good and the bad, together.

All sizes of cities are projected to grow. Gainesville, both in Georgia and in Florida, should peak over 300,000. That’s not Gotham, but it is no longer “sleepy”.

Have a look and see where your town falls. Remember, the bigger the city, the bigger the opportunities – and the troubles.

academic, America, college, education, SJW, Walter Williams

It’s graduation season for American high school seniors. Congratulations, kids, especially those of you who survived twelve years of government indoctrination. For many this fall means heading off to college. I know young people, this year, headed to Georgia Tech, UNC, Chapel Hill, and Notre Dame. These selections and acceptances, by themselves, are impressive accomplishments.

However, I have warned repeatedly in the recent past about the decline of academia. Today, Dr. Walter Williams shares some similar cautionary sentiments: please know and understand what really goes on at modern institutions of higher learning.

To reduce angst among snowflakes in its student body, the University of California, Hastings College of the Law has added a “Chill Zone.” The Chill Zone, located in its library, has, just as most nursery schools have, mats for naps and beanbag chairs. Before or after a snooze, students can also use the space to do a bit of yoga or meditate. The University of Michigan Law School helped its students weather their Trump derangement syndrome — a condition resulting from Donald Trump’s election — by enlisting the services of an “embedded psychologist” in a room full of bubbles and play dough. To reduce pressure on law students, Joshua M. Silverstein, a law professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, thinks that “every American law school ought to substantially eliminate C grades and set its good academic standing grade point average at the B- level.”

Today’s academic climate might be described as a mixture of infantilism, kindergarten and totalitarianism. The radicals, draft dodgers and hippies of the 1960s who are now college administrators and professors are responsible for today’s academic climate. The infantilism should not be tolerated, but more important for the future of our nation are the totalitarianism and the hate-America lessons being taught at many of the nation’s colleges. …

Mats, bean bags, bubbles, and play dough at law schools. Law schools – graduate programs for people who have already passed through college at least once, many of them with one or more years of “real world” experience in between tenures. Perhaps the real world isn’t what it was.

Hasbro.

Williams point, like mine previously, is that we must not tolerate this nonsense any longer. We just can’t afford to humor the idiocy at the expense of civilization. Paying $50,000 or more, per year, for play dough and safe zones is insane. There are vastly less expensive options, some that are free.

If you’re thinking about going to college or if you’re the parent of a student, think long and hard about what goes on at some of these giant preschools with beer parties. Do your homework.

Williams concludes, again as I have before, that the best way to fight this is to cut the money. Regents and legislators can do that, theoretically, by slashing budgets. You can do it by withholding tuition. Do something. Anyway,

Congratulations to the Class of 2017!

I Can Drive 55; I Choose Not To

America, driving, Eric Peters, Germany, government, New York Times, speed limits

Carlos Slim’s Blog discovered that many jurisdictions are raising speed limits. Some are now as high as 80 or 85 MPH – almost back to what were safe speeds in 1970. They begin with the “blur” of driving through Nevada and then progress to Texas before culminating on the German autobahn.

Shiny new signs posted last week in northern Nevada signal that the state is joining a trend toward higher speed limits for rural highways — motorists can now hit 80 miles per hour on a 130-mile stretch of Interstate 80.

Nevada has long been known as a state that allows people to do things they can’t do anywhere else in the country, but don’t expect any winking boasts that what happens between Fernley and Winnemucca stays between Fernley and Winnemucca. A handful of other states already had a limit of 80 m.p.h. or more, and there are places in the world where you can legally go even faster.

Things really are bigger in Texas. And Germany.

A section of State Highway 130 in Texas, a toll road between Austin and San Antonio, has an 85 m.p.h. speed limit, the highest in the United States — a fact that drew a lot of attention when the blacktop opened to traffic in 2012. It did not, however, draw a lot of drivers, and the company that won the concession to operate the highway filed for bankruptcy last year.

Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming raised the limits on certain roads to 80 m.p.h. in recent years — in part out of a recognition that a lot of people were driving that fast already. Mississippi has a theoretical 80 m.p.h. limit; it applies only to toll roads, and the state has no toll roads.

Bulgaria and Poland have limits as high as 140 kilometers per hour, about 87 m.p.h. Of course, such numbers seem paltry when you look at Germany’s fabled autobahn, where some stretches have no absolute limit, and speeds above 100 m.p.h. are common. In fact, there are several documented instances of drivers exceeding 200 m.p.h. on the autobahn, some of them with video evidence or automotive magazine writers as witnesses.

So, in Nevada, the legal speed limit – in places – is now close to those speeds people elsewhere obtain anyway. Then they (briefly) commence the scare tactic deception.

About 35,000 people die each year in traffic accidents in the United States, and nearly 2,000 of those deaths are attributable to increased speed limits, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Notice that the IIHS does not say the speeding itself was to blame for 5.7% of those 35,000 fatalities. It is “attributable to increased speed limits”. Other studies show faster drivers are safer drivers, mainly because, at high speed, they have to pay attention. Many (most?) of the 2,000 increased speed limits deaths are caused by idiots wandering into the path of higher-speed drivers. The “speeders” are not necessarily to blame but they get counted for statistical purposes.

No mention of accident rates in speed-happy Germany, because they’re aren’t that many. Germans know how to drive. Most Americans do not. And, in Germany, the timid have an outlet: they simply stay out of the left lane. This solution is far too simple for U.S. clovers, who feel it is their right to wander around aimlessly and below the posted limits in any lane they choose. This is almost always illegal but nobody cares. Here, speeding is bad; pitiful driving is good. The fatalities will continue.

Something the Times failed to mention was Montana’s experiment in the 1990’s. Then, that state had,in most places and on most roads, no daytime speed limits at all. I have fond memories of cruising a two-lane back road to nowhere at 110 MPH and barely being able to pass large trucks. There were no accidents and no fatalities – you need people for those numbers, which Montana lacked. It was so awesome it got boring. But it’s gone now. 75. 80. Creep, creep, creep.

On a somewhat related note, Eric Peters has some accounts of what happens to you when you decide to drive outside the state’s arbitrary rules. Rather, he discusses what happens when they say you do, even when you don’t.

Break their rules, and they hammer you. Obey their rules, and they hammer you. Might be better to at least have a little fun before the hammer falls.

America, government, media, news, truth

Charles Krauthammer recently said on Fox News that, given the GOP-DNC-Comey-Russia-Trump-media mania and mass misinformation campaign, that the American people increasingly have nowhere to turn for accurate information. Considering that the mass media is mostly owned for four or five large companies, all beholden to special interests and incestuously tied to the crazed government in D.C., it makes perfect sense. Of course, I’m not sure most people want accurate information. Air conditioning, cable, and beer – yes. Info – maybe not.

These trends are doing to the media and reporting what a lack of income has done to retail – killing it, slowly but surely.

Consequently, a new study shows the number of reporters on the streets, digging up facts, is collapsing. A snapshot of the largest media markets over the past ten years or so:

nimbus-image-1494684464618

BLS / Apartment List.

Odds are your city has 100 reporters or less. A few places are growing – D.C. especially – but the overall trend is down, precipitously.

At the rate things are going, I calculate that by 2027 we will be down to just 11 reporters nationwide. Two of those will be Russian hackers, the rest robots.

Enjoy the AC and TV.

America, culture, history, Jeff Davis, New Orleans, race, society, stupid

I congratulate the City of New Orleans and its upstanding citizens on their successful removal of the Statue of Jefferson Davis, first, last, and greatest President of the C.S.A.

Workers in New Orleans in the early hours of Thursday took down a statue of Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. It was the second of four such statues or monuments targeted for removal as city officials seek to erase the vestiges of an era that celebrated white supremacy and racism.

Crews, wearing masks to cover their faces, worked under a heavy police presence starting at 3 a.m. to dismantle the statue, which was erected in 1911, nearly 50 years after the end of the war, and commissioned by the Jefferson Davis Memorial Association.

Wearing masks over their faces … like the Klan. Irony lost, certainly.

Begone, era of white supremacy and racism! Begone, history, heritage, pride and civility! Hell, begone all ye old, dirty, usurping, 0-culture crackers! Comes now the era of the SJW, the post-1965 Amerika!

08MONUMENTS1-master768

Annie Flanagan / Carlos Slim’s Blog.

But, seriously, congratulations to the people of the Big High-Crime Drainage Ditch. All their problems are now solved. Never again need they fear: ridiculously, hilariously failed schools; high unemployment; crime to make Detroit wince; gangs; drugs; welfare careerism by the generation; illiteracy; an economy as stagnant as their beloved swamp; the swamp; 110% humidity; tropical diseases; public corruption; public urination; public vomiting; vagrancy; illegal gun raids; looters; Superdome sodomy and rape sprees; police looters, and; the next Katrina.

Getting rid of one old white man accomplished so much. Two men – I think they did away with Gen. Beauregard too, him and his horse. Two men and a horse gone and N.O. becomes paradise on earth. It’s like Newspeak for the statuary aware – out with the old and tainted and in with a better, brighter, if lower and dumber future. You will see this improvement immediately upon your next visit to N’Awlins. You will; I’ve made my last trip.

This pitiful episode, and the hundreds like it around the faltering U.S., do lend some optimism to the prospect of one day tearing down other monuments – those to Amerika’s favorite plagiarist, drunken womanizer, and communist. I think the FBI files will be unsealed in ten years or so.

Until then, in honor of anti-Southern hatred in N’Awlins and elsewhere, I leave you with this:

I do not give a damn!

America, Idiocracy, politics

A discussion today turned, jokingly, to the film Idiocracy, which was once considered a comedy but is now recognized as a prophetic documentary. All in attendance to the discussion agreed that the U.S. is there now.

Someone made the comment that the current U.S. President sure looks and acts the part of President Camacho. We all laughed. Then…

Not to long thereafter I saw this on Drudge:

nimbus-image-1494441051272

I thought, “Hell, this could actually get worse…” Then I looked across the page and saw this:

nimbus-image-1494441083324

No. Well, yes. Um. I suppose we have arrived at a permanent state of worse.

I’m thinking Idiocracy, like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, is starting to look a little tame in comparison with the actual dystopian future.

An Armed Protest is a Polite Protest

Maybe “polite” isn’t the right word. A non-violent protest – that works better. Vocativ, where they scour the “deep web” with a slight SJW bent, inadvertently made the argument for more guns in civil society (maybe even uncivil too).

Their’s was a story about armed Nazis overrunning a Kentucky town. The reason for the invasion was a little less than clear. The main foci were: there were Nazis; the Nazis were armed; SJWs counter protested; some of the SJWs were also armed. A better title would have been: “Armed Nazis and Armed Communists Share Words in Kentucky”. I suppose a guy based in NYC and Tel Aviv can be forgiven in that regard.

The liberal press always gives the communists a pass. Everyone else is a Nazi. In this case, they were observing actual Nazis – rare. And the rarities were openly armed. They noted that the usual “punch the Nazi” and “100 Nazi scalps” stuff didn’t happen. You don’t punch or scalp people toting AR-15s.

Really there were three armed parties present: the Nazis (real, this time); the communists, and; a legion of police. In this instance I don’t think the cops were necessary to keep the other sides apart. The guns did that. All those weapons and no one was shot or otherwise injured.

Kentucky has rather decent (lax) gun laws – open carry with few strings, etc. Contrast this incident to others from heavily gun-controlled districts. In California and in D.C., where private guns are “bad”, violence and destruction are the norm.

Add an assault rifle or two and suddenly people find a little respect, even if they’re not that respectable. Funny.

D3S_33804203352282

Even with the Swastika tattoo, not too sure about which side this is … not sure about much of anything here… Nick Wagner / Vocativ.

Newsflash for the thugs, criminals, terrorists, and other trash of Amerika: a lot more ordinary, non-tattooed, non-chatting, and better washed people are packing heat than you might think (if you thought). They’re there. They’re concealed. They’re polite. But their patience is beginning to wear thin. Keep it polite if you can; don’t push the envelope much further. Please.

America, Congress, conservative, decpetion, government, liberals

Among other social designs, “liberals” and many Democrats want to kill off future native-born Americans while simultaneously importing incompatible “replacement” citizens. They call it “choice” and “diversity”. “Conservatives” and the sad lot of the GOP say … say … they oppose these things.

At campaign rallies they claim they will halt the flow of illegals and terrorists into the country. They say they will stop wasting tax dollars on Rehashed Nazi Eugenics Inc. Planned Parenthood. Then they sweep to power and something funny, something fishy happens.

Now, Congress faces an April 28 deadline to pass a new government funding bill.

There is currently no talk that it will include language to prohibit funding of Planned Parenthood.

But there is talk that it will not include the language that President Trump has requested to provide $1.4 billion to begin his project to build “a great, great wall on our southern border.”

The Republican House can pass and send to the Republican Senate a bill that funds the border wall but not Planned Parenthood. Or they can pass one that funds Planned Parenthood but not the border wall.

The former course of action would fulfill the campaign promises that got their president elected. The latter would appease congressional Democrats and the liberal press.

So, which will it be?

Is there any doubt, at all, about that?

If you still believe anything the Republicans say, do realize that your team isn’t yours at all. They’re just one squad of the uniparty team, in business for themselves and their owners. None of them care anything about you.

That’s why they spy on you. (They’re recording you reading this right now). That’s why they have destroyed your currency. That’s why they want freaks trolling around your daughters in the restroom. That’s why they have to constantly have wars to fight (well, for you to fight). That’s why they move Heaven and Earth to keep invaders moving into America, while keeping you from leaving (or returning).

This is what the allegiance and the voting have gotten you. They lie. You fall for it. Always. Odds are this will continue.
