The Pied Pollster

Once upon a time … that’s how children’s stories begin. This is a children’s story for adults. Adults and children – anybody with a pulse really. Enjoy.

Once upon a time …

An anachronistic time;

Yet five hundred years ago;

“Anachronistic” means mixed up;

My words do surely show; …

There was a happy little town;

The people there were healthy and cheerful;

Their rosy faces round.

No troubles had the folks;

Beyond a trifling few;

The grass was always green;

The sky was always blue.

Unto this joyous hamlet;

A plague did come one day;

The people’s hearts were troubled;

There was a frightful fray.

Their bodies began a squirmin’;

Due to the awful vermin;

Worse than rabid rats, much worse;

There came the Battle sound;

Filthy politicians! had found the happy town!

Some were Republicrats;

Demopublicans there were too;

Some said the town was red;

Others claimed it was blue;

Libertarians, commies and greens;

Helped stoke the awful din;

And more and more of the foul vermin,

Kept a pouring, pouring in.

They talked to dogs, they preached to cats;

They kissed the cradled babies;

They bored the paint right off the slats.

They stood upon the square and babbled,

Day and night;

Self-righteous their indignation;

Each convinced only he was right.

Mary Lou tripped over one,

A camped upon her stair;

No body was too safe;

Each suffered his share.

A portly politician,

In search of warmth in rain;

Crawled in a sewer pipe,

And, there he clogged the drain.

The stench was overwhelming,

The picnics all were ruined;

The commercials and yard signs then started,

All displayed too soon.

Free healthcare!

Free trade!

Jobs for all or none!

The pols jibber-jabbered.

The folks began to run.

The people closed the airport,

In their attempt to flee;

But, there they found politicians,

Shaking tambourines.

The radio and television boasted,

Of goodies yet to come;

Most folks were flat annoyed,

The ads appealed only to some.

Pols were in the bars;

And in the diners too;

They claimed to be good Christians,

Some to be good Jews.

Nowhere could one tread,

Without a pol around;

Nothing could be heard,

Above the deafening sound.

Taxes yes!

Taxes no!

Military spending too!

Projects here!

Programs there!

Nonsense everywhere!

The pols had all the answers,

To questions no one asked;

With bloviating zeal,

Each took the other to task.

At last the people cried,

“No more!”

At the hall they had assembled;

They stamped the floor,

They beat the walls,

Until the building trembled.

The mayor they begged,

What could be done?

Before the fools blocked out the sun.

Pitchforks and torches they acquired,

They took out to the streets;

The politicians ran away,

On cheaply shodden feet.

Yet, next day they had returned,

And they were all the more.

The sickened locals,

All a stir,

Beat on the mayor’s door.

An exterminator out was called;

He did his very best;

But politicians still remained,

Surviving every test.

In desperation it was decided,

To just burn down the town;

Homelessness a small price it seemed,

For no politics around.

But, then a stranger did appear,

Strange and in strange gear.

A solution he proposed;

His purpose was then made clear.

A pollster, claimed he to be,

Armed with a ballot box;

The pols would follow him,

Like hounds after the fox.

A place of honor was he given,

As he laid out his plan;

The very unhappy people had all that they could stand.

My price I have,

No more than you may afford;

When I am done you will be rid,

Of politicians abhorred.

We’ll pay! We’ll pay!

The people they all roared;

Yet, the mayor,

Losing money,

The one thing he deplored.

Do this deed, the mayor cried;

He there did play along.

But, no intention did he have,

To pay the pollster’s song.

The people were so clamorous,

To see their troubles end;

They all did beg the pollster,

How soon could he begin?

The pollster held up the ballot box,

Of many-colored hue;

Upon a whistle, shrill to hear,

A note he then blew.

The godless politicians,

Unto the call they came;

And, in a line they all did march,

Their steps for once the same.

The pollster lead them true,

Through all the streets of town;

The clapping, cheering people,

Had all a gathered round.

Out through the gates,

The Pied Pollster led the throng;

Enraptured by his tune, the pols all stumped along.

When the parade had cleared the door,

The people slammed it shut;

Let no more liars here,

May ever show their butts.

No one knows,

Not to this day,

Where were the pols all led;

For all the good folks cared,

They each could all be dead.

Some said they marched into the sun,

And their the fried a livin’;

Some said they plagued a wicked town,

The crooked there just striven.

pied-piper

Google.

But, they were gone;

The people cheered,

A bonfire they did burn;

So happy to be freed,

They missed the Pollster’s return.

His penny he asked,

Now that the feat was done;

Yet, mayor and people,

Declared he should have none.

Perhaps corrupted they had become,

Politician tainted so,

This injustice, the Pollster said,

Simply has to go.

Once more his ballot box he lifted,

A clear note, again, he blew;

I will save your children,

That they be not like you.

The kids had no attention,

To the politicians paid;

In their play and fun,

They had all missed the great parade.

They laughed at pols upon the square,

And trapped inside the drain;

Immune from lies,

Honest they did remain.

But the Pollster’s call they heard,

And one by one they came;

Now, at parents stingy they jeered,

It all remained the same.

Away to Freedom-land,

The Pollster took the babes;

And, there, so happy, they reside,

As our fortunes do fade.

Three alone were left behind,

They did not heed the call;

Their descendants to this day,

May carry on the haul;

One became a Democrat,

He promised stolen wealth;

One a Republican,

Who spoke of war as health.

The last he was an anarchist,

And, he relays this tale;

And, if you do not like it,

Then you may go to …

Wow! What a story. What a poem.

My sincere apologies to Robert Browning.

ISIS is supposedly our enemy – when we’re not funding and training them. They shoot theater patrons and bomb stadiums when they’re not fighting our enemy (or friend) in Syria … or something.  Very complicated.  Very stupid.  Every other Wednesday we are at war with them.  We bomb hospitals like they bomb soccer games thus demonstrating our moral superiority.

Russia recently began bombing the daylights out of ISIS’s military operations in Syria.  To be sure, Putin has ulterior political motives but his are probably not as murky nor schizophrenic as ours.

Turkey shot down a Russian plane it said had violated Turkish airspace.  Russia disputes the claim.  Washington, never wanting to miss a good time, has sent Air Force F-15s to Turkey to help fight the threat of Russia, which fights the threat of ISIS, which is crossing some stretch of the Texas border into the U.S. right now.

Geo. Washington, in his Farewell Address, 1796, referred to this as the “insidious wiles of foreign influence.” Of course, he would neither recognize nor understand what his homeland as descended into these days.  He might ask that his name be removed from the national capital (“Moronia” might be more appropriate).

Odds are there is more intelligence (far more) in Moscow and in Ankara than in D.C.; things should cool down sufficiently to prevent a sprouting of the giant mushrooms.

If intelligence is lacking in D.C., then it is utterly lost around metro Boston. At least as far as local government schooling is concerned.

In Revere, a North shore suburb, the high school cheerleading captain, Caley Godino, was kicked off the squad after some pitiful nitwits found one of her Tweets “offensive.”  It seems Caley Tweeted, “When only 10 percent of Revere votes for mayor cause the other 90 percent isn’t legal,” as part of a political discussion about illegal immigration. [Revere’s population is about 30% foreign-born].

Local school superintendent and head Nazi in charge, Dianne Kelly, said of Caley’s horrible, racist, offensive (free) speech, “If you’re going to stand up and say something that other people will find offensive- than you need to be prepared to deal with the ramifications of that.”

I see nothing racist in her tweet. Hyperbole I sense. A hint of truth perhaps. Nothing to offend any reasonable person. Then again, the reasonable seem few and far between.

People find everything offensive today.  I’m sure some in Revere find the town’s namesake, Paul Revere, offensive – he was opposed to the illegal invasions of his day (one Tweet if by land, two if …). Many are offended by the existence of white people.  Caley is likely offended she’s not a captain anymore.  Kelly is probably offended Caley is young, attractive and popular (and not PC). I find Kelly a bit offensive; she appears to be a self-righteous Marxist crossbred with a woodchuck.

See what I mean?  Maybe it’s the lighting.  Picture (first one) courtesy of the Revere Ministry of Indoctrination.

By the way, Herr Woodchuck can be reached at 781-286-8226 should you have any comments for her.  Just don’t offend her tiny sensibilities.  I won’t call because I would say something like, “Go to hell, you communist bitch.”  Very insensitive. They might make me an honorary cheerleader just so they could kick me off the squad.

I hope young Caley has learned her lesson: American government schools, where immigration law breaking is tolerated but free speech is not, are a joke and not worth attending.  I would tell her to get a GED and be done with the foolishness.  She might want to consider suing – The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education could help.

Dropping out of the failed system would do her better than any court action. Should she attend college she will find the same hypersensitivity and PC BS – writ large. Maybe she could get an education provided all the silly snowflakes are locked up in their safe places.

I hope this article is not offensive to woodchucks, not all of whom are communists. I’m sure not all educrats are stupid. I’m sure everyone in Washington is. Polys, please don’t get up nuked. Caley, do not give in.

Piracy, Counterfeiting, and Treason

This article was featured on The Perrin Lovett Show (with usual amateur production, etc.).

The United States Constitution sets forth a very few enumerated powers for the federal government – 18 to 30 or so, depending on how one reads the text.Several others could be imagined given a certain degree of lucidity. The modern law and political crowd obviously has a very vivid imaginations.

“Our” government now involves itself in literally everything. The pretense of following the Constitution was long ago dropped in favor of a do-all, end-all, all things for all people nanny state. This proves, as Lysander Spooner noted toward the end of the 19th Century, the abject failure of the Constitution. Either it enabled the growth and development of the current system or it was powerless to prevent it. Either way a lost cause for the liberty-minded.

Amongst those few, ancient powers were the prohibition and prosecution of but three specific crimes. Others, a few, could, again, be imagined based on the surrounding text.

Insanity, rather than imagination, best describes the current vast expanse of federal criminal “justice.” Today there are something like 10,000 crimes in the federal code – not all of them are even contained in Title 18, criminal laws. If you have a system where laws escape their designated place, you then have a problem. Worse, the various federal administrative agencies – none of which are found in the Constitution – write a bazillion regulations every year. Many of these carry quasi-criminal penalties.

One gets the idea that any and everything is illegal in America. It is. Possessing a “short” lobster is illegal. Owning a flower banned by a foreign government is illegal. Installing a toilet with a decent sized water tank is illegal.

Few of these laws were enacted to preserve order or to protect the public. Rather, they are intended to promote the government’s over the populace. The people seem to approve. That is, until they find themselves on the wrong side of a federal courtroom.

The average American commits three felonies a day – usually with no intent. Most of these go unprosecuted. Most are never known. Even if a violation is disclosed it is rarely acted upon. It would be impossible to persecute 300 million citizens on a regular basis. Unnecessary too. Prosecution is selective at best. It’s designed to make examples to keep the people in line.

Again, it started out with but three crimes. All the rest were left to the states for enforcement by statute or under our English heritage of common law. While a few cases of the three original varieties occasionally come up, these crimes are almost completely committed, these days by the government itself.

Counterfeiting

“The Congress shall have the power …To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States.” U.S. Const., Art. I, Section 8.

You, dear reader, must be familiar with the concept of the counterfeiter. It’s some dude in a basement with a press and green ink or a high-end color copier, who manufactures fake twenties for use at the supermarket. This does happen. However, it is dwarfed by the scheme enacted by the government in 1913 through the Federal Reserve Act.

That Act created the modern central banking system. One of those thirty or so enumerated powers in the old parchment authorized only Congress to create currency. Said currency was to be based only upon the determined value of gold or silver. It was thus real money, linked to something of intrinsic value.

Via the Act Congress abdicated its authority to a private banking cabal. They were literally given a monopoly to print money. A tenuous link was, then, in place which, on the surface, to the Constitution and the gold standard. The Act’s original language stated the new federal reserve notes could be redeemed at any time for either “lawful currency” or precious metals. It was a sly admission the new notes were something other than lawful. Funny almost but deadly.

This cozy arrangement allows the government an endless supply of debt by which to prop up its income tax scheme and bottomless spending. The tax also, conveniently, came along in 1913. Like a plan or something.

The cabal benefits by being able to loan themselves and their friends an infinite amount of money. You may read all about this process, dubbed the “Mandrake Mechanism” in G. Edward Griffin’s The Creature from Jekyll Island.

The downsides for you are several. First, you endure the loss of Constitutional government – lost to a despicable gang of criminals. Second, you loss buying power to inflation. The more of something there is, the less each individual unit is worth. The more money the Fed prints, the less the money you have buys. Prices rise accordingly. Incomes are always the last to increase; they are perpetually behind the curve.

The Treasury still has the ability to print real money in addition to the Fed’s funny notes. The last time it did so was in the 1960s in a bid to boost currency circulation. The gold link was weakened during the great depression (by a Democrat administration) and severed entirely in the early 70s by Richard Nixon (a Republican) (2 parties, remember…).

Piracy

“The Congress shall have the power … To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations…” U.S. Const., Art.I, Section 8.

This was a serious issue for the young Republic, being tied to European trade. It’s still an important issue. Ask Captain Phillips about piracy in the 21st Century. Again, however, the actions of the central government eclipse anything done by the hook and parrot set.

The government does not roam the seas looking for vessels to raid. Well, actually, they do. Most of their pillaging and plundering is conducted on land though. Piracy is synonymous with stealing. What doesn’t the government steal?

They get your money through taxes, fees, and insidious inflation. They get your flowers, short lobsters, milk, and produce. They get your arms, legs an lives through their endless wars. They get your children with their mandatory non-education system. They get it all. Pipe up too loudly about this theft and they bring out the guns – piracy. Everything, everywhere, everyday.

Treason

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason…” U.S. Const., Art. III, Section 3.

With the exception of the “Civil” war the government does not conduct military operations against itself. Sometimes one wishes the opposite. They do occasionally make war on us: whiskey tax protesters, poor coal miners, displaced veterans, Indians, those of Japanese ancestry, churches, etc.

The real crime they commit – constantly – is giving aid to our enemies. Any enemy they can find so long as the free people suffer. Piracy and counterfeiting (see above) are two good examples. Another example is the absolute infidelity to the limits of the Constitution. Yet again, the majority of the people seem okay with the ridiculous overextension of state authority – so long as they get (or are at least promised) some goodies.

A great example from the news of late is the American warfare/welfare policy concerning Islamic terrorism. The military trots around the globe in search of crazed radicals. Rather than defeating them, they stir the boiling pot. This allows for wholesale spending of the fiat money. It also gives them graft to loot. It also angers the hell out of already dangerous peoples.

As if that isn’t bad enough Washington then imports as many “refugees” to the States as it can locate. Screening be damned, they have a Civilization to wreck.

If any outsider attempted such unimaginable terror, it would be considered an act of war. As is, I view it as an act of Treason. The people may not go along with this one much longer. Not when Paris-style theater and sporting outings become the norm. Not when Sharia law emerges from the 7th century into places like Dearborn and Omaha.

What if anything can be done? I think reform is not an option. Many of my conservative friends want a “return to the Constitution.” That means going back to a document that was roundly ignored the first time. At best, it would reset the clock. This time around there’s no assurance the demise (eternal) would take so long to happen. They could just use history as a blueprint.

Congress, the President (any President), and their friends in beaurocracy and banking are non to eager to give up all that power and fun. The Courts have long since rubber stamped the insanity. It’s all okay because of the Necessary and Proper Clause, or the Welfare Clause, or the Santa Clause, or … Just because it just is.

Years ago, during a federal firearms case, I asserted the government’s lack of authority over firearms law as a defense for my client. I moved the court to dismiss the charges for lack of standing. I reminded the judge about Article One enumeration. I waived a copy of the parchment around like a fan. As I spoke there was a stunned silence. Attorneys are not supposed to uphold the law as I did literally.

My motion was denied instantly. My client took a plea deal and voided any chance of an appeal. Any appeal would have failed anyway. Law and order minus the law part.

These are not only my experience. Ted Cruz, whom I’m told is running for President, accessed the White House of ‘Counterfeiting Immigration Documents’

Given what we know about government, they probably did. They’re obviously getting away with it. This was a story about immigration too. Perhaps the merging of Treason and counterfeiting.

Speaking to Fox News following a federal judge’s decision to temporarily halt President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration, the potential Republican presidential contender said the commander in chief is ignoring federal law.

“One of the things it points out is the president has claimed, rather absurdly, that the basis of his authority is ‘prosecutorial discretion.’ That he’s simply choosing not to prosecute 4.5 million people here illegally,” Cruz told Fox News. “But what the district court concluded, quite rightly, is they’re doing far more than that. The administration is printing work authorizations. It is affirmatively acting in contravention of federal law. Basically, what its doing is counterfeiting immigration documents, because the work authorizations its printing are directly contrary to the text of federal law. It is dangerous when the president ignores federal law.

“We’re not going to disregard this federal court ruling,” Obama said, but he added that administration officials would continue to prepare to roll out the program.

We’re not going to ignore the law, we’ll just not abide by it. To hell with it… That, in a nutshell, is the government. What can be done? Not much right now. For starters though we could all cease to hold the state up on a pedestal of honor. The gallows would be more appropriate. Stop legitimizing the monsters. Shun the long enough and maybe they will go away.

Tolkien on Mass Migration and Terrorism

The Lord of the Rings is, in addition to a great quest epic, the chronicles of the great war of the third age of Middle Earth. As with any such conflict, real or fictional, a large number of people attempted to flee the violence and turmoil, seeking peace in new lands. The story is familiar to those of the 21st Century or any time of tumult.

All of Tolkien’s legendarium is a story of migrations. At the direction of Eru (God) the Valar first moved into Arda, for its shaping and management. The races of Middle Earth- Elves, Men, Dwarves, and Hobbits – continually drifted about in search of territory, happiness and purpose. The Men of Numenor migrated out of Middle Earth in triumph only to migrate back on the wings of the storm. Later the Elves took leave of mortal lands permanently.

During the War various folks were on the move, seeking to distance themselves from the imminent threat of Sauron. In the middle western lands droves of disorganized people headed north from the areas around Rohan and to such peaceful and open places as Bree and the Shire.

Many were residents of Dunland, more a place than a nation. Their plight was similar to the picture painted of those leaving modern Libya and Syria – in or on the borders of war.

As with our mass of refugees Tolkien described these disaffected people as mostly decent, seeking only better lives. Any disruption they caused may have been frowned upon but their situation was most sympathetic.

However, among the refugees were a large number of “ruffians” – men who desired to take what they wanted by force or theft. These would equate to the welfare-seekers and common criminal elements associated with the current third world migrations into Europe and America.

Worse still were the enemy agents who accompanied the refugees. More than mere ruffians their aim was conquest of the new lands – by any means necessary. Being relatively few in number, disorganized, and poorly armed they relied on guile and subversion, taking advantage of the native sympathies and naivety, and on acts of violent terror. They, for the most part, worked for Saruman. They were the ISIS fighters of Tolkien’s world.

*For those only acquainted with Peter Jackson’s movies, most of this history is unknown. Please consult the book.

ferny

This still may represent the totality of Jackson’s representation. Google.

Saruman initially sent them north for two purposes. The first was to establish a supply line to feed his military efforts. The second reason was a backup plan, to establish a new petty realm in the event (as actually happened) the wizard’s war effort failed.

These projects were underway even at the beginning of the events of the first book. Frodo and company encountered one or more of these invaders and their corrupted local allies during their turbulent journey through Bree. Back in the Shire the plan had already been unfolding for some time though it was largely unnoticed by the native populace.

Early on the happy little lands of the north were silently guarded by the Rangers, descendants of Numenor. At that time the invaders had to maintain secrecy or be crushed and driven back south. The open invasion commenced as soon as the guardians went away to war. The invasion was made easier by the long secret efforts – incrementalism in societal change. Like the proverbial frog in the slowly heated pot the native Hobbits and men did not notice the changes until it was almost too late. Parisian concert goers might appreciate this concept.

In Bree once the changes did manifest there was trouble. Mr. Butternut described the scene as a real “set to” – a battle. Fortunately, the Bree-landers were victorious and repelled the assault. They then essentially found themselves besieged. “Fortress Bree.” They were also, being a little closer to the war, beset by far worse enemies though they were generally spared harm except for fright.

In the Shire, no sooner had Frodo departed did fundamental reorganization begin. Saruman took advantage of the local greed of some. Not understanding his pawn-like nature Lotho Baggins began to acquire real estate, industries and power. All of this would soon serve the “refugees” purpose.

Step by step the newcomers transformed the land to their liking. By the time the Ring-bearers returned a year later the transformation was complete. A nearly utopian society had become a fascist dictatorship. Terror was the new law.

Any Hobbits who resisted were either murdered, disappeared, or imprisoned. The rest lived under a nightmarish regime of force and theft. Like good communist leaders the invaders devised a system of “gathering” and “sharing.” This simply meant they stole for themselves what the decent people produced. In a flash generosity became captive to larceny.

Once the changes were in place (and the greater war lost) Saruman moved in to rule his new caliphate. His servants lived fat and happy and lazily while the Hobbits suffered miserably. Such was the scene to which the four travelers returned.

Fresh from the war and having witnessed the triumph of good over evil they would not tolerate savagery at home. They immediately – even at the border gate – began an insurrection. In very short order and in a remarkably short period of time they raised the Shire and reversed the calamity. The Scouring of the Shire was the final battle in the War. The population was full of pent-up frustration and only required a spark to spring into action.

The ruffian terrorists were given two choices: leave or die. The Hobbits of the quest, Frodo in particular, had seen how the Men of Rohan and Gondor handled similar interlopers. In Rohan they had been the same breed as those which now plagued the Shire. Down south defensive force was justified and utilized to sort out the terrorists from the refugees. Those who surrendered and pledged good conduct were left alone (though not allowed to live off the host nations). Those who fought for evil were defeated.

So it was that Frodo organized the resistance. He wished to avoid any killing, even of the worst invaders, if at all possible. In the end the terrorists forced conflict. Merry and Pippin lead the brief military campaign and the violent savages were confronted, hunted down and destroyed. Those who finally surrendered were disarmed and booted out of the country with warnings not to return.

Saruman worked his own demise, politically and, in the end, personally. The Shire freed itself through resolute action.

Ours is a situation of similar circumstances if vastly different origins of those of the mythical Shire. Theirs was a simple libertarian society. We are plagued with omnipresent imperial governments given to meddling ruin.  Many participate in or support the government’s schemes. I suppose this article will primarily resonate with the modern Hobbits – with libertarians and panarchists. We have a decision to make …

For those of us in the real and modern world the time for resolution has come. Either we must act swiftly and totally or else face a rapid decline into barbarism. News comes hourly of perpetual invasion by the enemies of the West and their plans for unending Paris style destruction. It is now admitted there is next to no way to vet terrorist elements from the regular refugees.

As such, a line must be drawn in order to preserve free Civilization. Until vetting is possible (if ever), those mistreated souls deserve our sympathy but not our homes and blood. The violent must be defeated. Period.

The people are ready for action and restoration. They need only a spark.

“Refugee” Crisis Reveals Massive Government Incompetence

Never underestimate the awesome stupidity of the state. The unfolding Islamic invasion has shed new light on government efforts to plumb the depths of idiocy.

Despite the obvious and lethal failure of the 21st Century mass migration/third world conversion policies the statists still want more. More when even a little is extremely dangerous.

Analysts think the Parisian attacks may have cost the terrorists less than $10,000. That price divided by $925 gives you the approximate number of jihadis we’re told were directly involved. Amazing. You pay for your own demise. Convenient.

Nothing can be easy or cheap enough for them. Any solution for you must be prohibitively expensive; it must not be allowed. A review of the emerging video and photo footage of the attacks reveal instances where an armed citizen could have returned fire on the savages. This might not have turned the tide but it would have broken some waves. It would have sent a message – a message the government does not want.

A jammed AK provides an opportunity to shoot back. Dailymail.

France has restrictive gun laws. At least normal people are restricted. The laws don’t seem to slow criminals at all. Another government failure. Yet the fools have already called for more restrictions. A rumor circulates that his Excellency Obama will use his final year in office in an attempt to move American gun laws closer to the perfection of places like France. If successful, we will see similar results.

The “refugees” stream into America even as I write. Many are not waiting for generous welfare handouts; they’re coming in illegally and undocumented. They also seem to be disproportionately young, healthy men. Things must be very bad indeed if they choose to abandon their women, children and elders in the war zones.

Young, healthy Syrian men have been arrested in Honduras, headed for America with fake Greek passports. That doesn’t prove them terrorists but it does prove an oddity. More were caught at the Texas border. At least these were stopped. Many make it in – illegally or officially.

Al-CIA-da members have already been arrested after using the refugee ruse to settle in Kentucky. Again, young, healthy, weapon wielding men. No word about their families left behind. The U.S. admits there may be dozens more terrorists unaccounted for. Lax background checks are blamed. I blame government stupidly.

HT_al-qaeda_weapons_split_nt_131118_33x16_1600

Pitiful Refugees. FBI.

Government programs are a study in serious failure. The TSSA, allegedly created to protect us from terrorists, can’t even detect weapons in 75% of test cases. Very reassuring. They do excel at strip-searching grandmothers and college girls. This foolishness costs us a fortune too.

Our government only wants to resettle “refugees” of terror-prone Islamic nature. Any others need not apply. Of 827 Somalian “refugees” brought to America in a 6 week period, only one was a Christian, the rest, all of them, Muslim. It’s the same with Syrians and all others. They only come into Western nations. Wealthy, peaceful Middle Eastern countries will not have them. Saudi Arabia has tent cities up and ready – capable of comfortably housing millions – but they have not accepted a single “refugee.” What does that tell you?

The sleeper agents are here and they are preparing more attacks. ISIS is already threatening D.C. and Times Square with Paris-style violence. It will happen again. And again. And, probably, again. All thanks not to lax checks and enforcement, but to open and reckless abandonment of the people by their government.

Prepare as you can and remember all of this when the shyster politicians beg you for your votes.

Tis The Season: Obscure Christmas Music – Expanded and Updated

Christmas is coming! It’s scarcely more than a month away. Children look forward to a deserved break from school. The wonderful holiday ales hit the shelves. I, like Dante (without a guide), make my annual and obligatory pilgrimage to the mall.

Where I live the adult population never seems to fond of Christmas – maybe it’s the mass commercialization. Call me a kid but I love it. I’ve already broken out my legendary Christmas tie collection.

Like so many around the country, the local radio station has started playing Christmas songs 24/7. They do a great job. However, they continually pass over some great tunes.

I want to share with you a few of my favorite obscure Christmas favorites. I’ve added a few more to the list now. Here we go:

Winter Wonderland by Sleeper Agent;

Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses;

Dominic the Donkey;

download

Christmas for Cowboys, John Denver;

Three Ships, Sting;

12 PAINS of Christmas, Bob Rivers;

12 Redneck Days of Christmas, Jeff Foxworthy;

12 Drunken Days of Christmas, Foster Brooks;

The Night Santa Went Crazy by Weird Al;

Christmas at Ground Zero, Weird Al;

Naughty List, Forever In Your Mind, a little boy bandish but catchy;

Alone on Christmas, Darlene Love;

BBB ah BBB Blue Christmas, Porky Pig;

Christmas in Hollis, Run DMC;

Holiday Road, Lindsey Buckingham, not a Christmas tune but great for the road trip to Grandma’s;

Christmas Song, Alvin and the Chipmunks;

Alice’s Restaurant, Arlo Guthrie, more Thanksgiving but rare.

Enjoy! You’re welcome. And, an early Merry Christmas!

The Fifth Column, The Fourth Turning, and The Third World: As Goes Paris, So Goes The West

Last Friday, the 13th, lived up to the superstition. Not just for the people of Paris but for all the civilized world.

I actually conceived of this article, at least the main title, a few weeks ago. I did not know what to do with it. I needed a spark. Then, like Gollum at the end of The Return of the King, ISIS played their part. They provided the spark. One can only hope that spark ignites the powder keg of Europe. If the old continent is to be saved, it must be saved now.

Emilo Mola coined the phrase fifth column during the Spanish Civil War. It, of course, refers to the enemy within, the subversive and the treasonous.

The West is besieged by a host of enemies, mostly manufactured by our own “leaders.” Radical Islamists, for instance, have stated explicitly they want to conquer Europe and America for the caliphate. By themselves they stood no chance of achieving this goal. Enter the politicians and the elites. The elites, the establishment itself, serves as the fifth column by allowing, almost mandating, mass migration of violent third worlders into civilized nations.

Their excuses are many, the result is singular – death. Death to our citizens and to our culture.

This is the way with all things touched by the government: money, immigration, education, family life. Ruination. The entity whose sole purpose is to protect the people is now the people’s worst enemy.

The Fourth Turning refers to the end of the latest cyclical chapter as posited by William Strauss and Neil Howe. These cycles are somewhat reminiscent of Plato’s regime cycles.  The Strauss/Howe theory is Amerocentric; I can appreciate it. Plato’s nearly iron law of political behaviour is universal and (apparently) timeless; I prefer it.  However, the Turning fits my theme herein and I like the sound of it.

The fourth turning is the one that ushers in upheaval. It coincides with Plato’s final phase – from decadent democracy into despotism and ruin.

The war on the West by the Islamic world is a pivotal event in the turning phase. It could be the most critical. If it succeeds our culture could be lost forever. Or, it could be changed for the worse. The loss or change might only be temporary, but temporary could mean centuries.

Originally the third world consisted of those nations neither aligned with NATO nor with the Communist Block.  It included several European countries and other decent, advanced places.  Today it has become synonymous with primitive (sometimes savage) societies.

The third world is largely incompatible with modern civilization. Actually, it is completely incompatible. Conversion, on a small-scale, requires many generations to become effective. On a mass scale it stands a better chance of destroying the first world hosts. The events in Paris are self-explanatory.

European Civilization arose after 40,000 years of struggle and development. Our ancestors battled a bitter environment, ice ages, bears the size of SUVs, and each other. The end result, as improbable as it was, is a people who can simultaneously cure disease, compose complex symphonies, and explore space.

The other peoples have not done these things because they cannot. Not yet. They still struggle, usually among each other. Bringing a semi-literate, violent savage to a modern metropolis is little different from moving a fox into a henhouse. The fox may have good sport but the hens suffer.

Suffer the hens do. Google.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the Parisian offensive, the ‘First of the Storm’ as they call it. We need not doubt their sincerity.

This group and others like it are products of America’s and Europe’s meddling affairs in the middle east. ISIS was created, trained, funded, and armed by the CIA and with your money. Pawns in Washington’s unnatural wars for corporate profit and world hegemony.

The government trotted the globe in search of the most violent conflicts – turmoil which in no way concerned the West. Upon finding chaos Washington kicked the veritable hornet’s nest. They made sure the hornets knew who was kicking them. Unsurprisingly, that engendered hatred of us in the minds of the warring savages.

Then, with the hornets good and angry, our leaders began to import them in droves. The results have been as predictable as they are horrific.

Even now some of our “betters” murmur against the obvious. They still want to protect their suicidal project. Those who created the problem should not be counted on to solve it.

There is but one solution. The invading hoards must be deported from Christendom. Our lives depend on it. Madam LE Pen, likely France’s next President, plainly stated that the French must annihilate radical Islam in France. It does not belong there. It can contribute nothing but more murders, other crimes, and to the evisceration of the traditional way of life.

Several of the attackers in Paris have been identified as recent refugees allowed into Europe under the guise of humanitarian relief from the war in Syria. Syrian affairs, war included, are best left to the Syrians. The largely disarmed French people are open victims waiting to be slaughtered.

Even as these traffic events unfold and the lies of liberalism are laid bare, the same murmuring voices call for the disarming of America. They seem to want more easy targets for the terrorists they created and imported.

Airstrikes have been launched in Syria by the French this weekend. They are less retaliatory but still more hornet kicking. More of the same will beget more similar results – see Einstein’s theory of insanity.

This is as calm a followup to my first reaction in Bellwether as I could manage. Really, I’ve already said all of this. Back in January I published my Thoughts on Paris regarding the Charlie Hebdo massacre. I had hopes that terror would awaken the people. Maybe this one will.

All people have a natural right to freedom and happiness. It is my hope that, by example, the first world will enlighten the third. Mixing the two directly runs the high risk of destroying both. Who desires that?

Should you find my ideas offensive or politically incorrect, please feel free to go to hell. Or, just go to Paris and await the hornet’s next sting.
