Some Survival Tips for the End of the United States

This column was originally entitled Break It Up! and it was supposed to be a prediction of how things might look, in that increasingly strange land between Mexico and Canada in a decade or three. The prompting genesis of that idea, frequently on my mind anyway, was this article about a five-state solution to the current disintegration. I found the breakdown, as presented, a little simplistic, though I was more than happy that some people are beginning to notice the inevitable reality. This being an identity-based phenomenon more than or as much as anything else, these maps might be of some use to the aware among us.

I scrapped the chore of near-future geopolitical speculation because it is virtually impossible to predict what is going to happen with any degree of precision. It’s also nearly impossible to approximate what is going to come of it. My guess is that half the people in the country today cannot understand what I’ve just written. I suspect that half of the other half would willfully refuse to understand. Half of that half will most likely continue to deny anything is wrong even when their own neighborhood is being actively bombed. Oh, well. Defeat and becoming a casualty aren’t just options, they’re the default options.

Because something is occurring, and because I’d like to see as many people as possible survive it, here are some points and suggestions I think are helpful irrespective of the exact circumstances of the final decline and fall. What the informed, decent individual can do ranges somewhere between “not much” and “more than one would think.” Here goes:

It is going to happen. It’s already started. It cannot be stopped. It has been in progress at least as long as I have been alive. It is inescapable.

There will be war. There didn’t have to be, there does now. It’s already in progress. It’s going to get bad. VERY bad. I’ve seen fatality estimates, well-reasoned and very reasonable, from 33% to 67% of the current population, with outlier predictions of 10% and 90%. B-A-D, bad. But, as one cannot know the mathematics of the uncertain, one should simply concentrate on being part of the survivors’ percentage, whatever that works out to be.

Diversity + Proximity = War. This war will feature more than two sides. But, as everyone loves binary presentation, think of it as Christians vs satanists, or if one likes, Nationalists vs globalists. This will be more of a Balkans-style free-for-all as opposed to a convenient North and South clash at the lines.

Whatever happens, if you’re over forty, maybe thirty, maybe even twenty, you helped cause it. Some, of course, did much more than others. A fine job, folks.

The order of societal importance is: Identity > Culture > Politics.

“Nation” is not and never has been and never will be the same as “state.” Certainly from 1776, onwards, this was implicitly understood. The understanding was subsequently muddled and then lost. Next, the nation was lost, subsumed into something else. Now, the state is collapsing. Thus, this column. One should not beat himself up about this as it appears to be a universal human cycle – we’re just in the difficult phase at the bottom of the circle. With the right actions, however, our children’s children may get to experience the happiness of a rising position on the wheel.

Get. Out. Of. The. Cities. As much and as far as possible. It’s a numbers game; the more people around, the more chance something will transpire. Recall that upon the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, the people in the hinterlands had to be informed of the events whereas the people in Rome were already acutely aware.

For the young and able, again, leaving before things get hot is a reasonable, honorable, and intelligent option – if done reasonably, honorably, and intelligently. For those who remain, relocation may still become necessary, whether it’s to one of five new nations or one of fifty. Call it mobile flexibility.

When it happens, some of your (at least temporary) allies may not exactly share your identity, culture, or politics. Remember that.

Do not be afraid. Fear is unnatural and a tool of the devil. No, it’s not the same as mere apprehension. Fear is spiritual cancer that overtakes the mind and the body. Apprehension is the mind alerting the body to preserve the spirit in temporal, corporeal form. When confronted with a growling bear in a cave, the wise course of action is to take some action. The bear isn’t evil but it is dangerous. People have senses and adrenaline for a reason.

Learn as much as possible about as much as possible. Read.

Get in shape. Breathing, sleep, water, food, and activity. Find out the optimal weight for your particular height and try to maintain it. Obesity and starvation will make strange bedfellows in the coming years. Along with viral and bacteriological diseases, they will account for the majority of casualties. Walk or run, one’s as good as the other. Build strength and endurance. Learn to take and deliver a punch. If you cannot moderate them, then give up what one might consider vices. Do that now, not later. Do everything you can to break any dependency on any medication. (Yes, I know. Your situation is obviously different. See the default options above).

Weapons will be required. Of all kinds. Whatever turns out to be needed will somehow become available. Faith. When considering the concept of preemption, discern if a strike on an enemy that has been attacking for decades really counts as preemptive. The substance is more important than appearances and morality makes for moral high ground.

As bad as things might ever seem, there are very few types of people we are called upon and mandated to hate, violently oppose, or destroy. However, once encountered, they are to be hated, opposed, and destroyed with a damned vengeance.

Get as far away as humanly possible from evil, wicked people, fools, and those who simply cannot be instructed or reasoned with. The big four that I avoid are the wicked, the stupid, the mentally unstable, and the chronically intoxicated. Aside from telling it to go away or engaging to destroy it, evil should be avoided at all costs. God will deal with it in time. The other three are not necessarily wicked nor even bad, though they can readily serve or perpetuate evil. Call them “unproductive.” Be mindful to deal kindly with the simple and to, when possible, speak or act for the voiceless or the actionless. Under certain circumstances, one has the obligation to counsel, care for, or deal with one of the lesser three; one knows it when it happens. But, in general, do not waste valuable time attempting the impossible. Shake the dust, etc.

There’s a book about the life and times of a certain Carpenter-cum-Street Preacher. Read it. Just about everything I’m writing here can be found there, coupled with a universality of wisdom to encompass and surpass everyone from Aristotle to Sun Tzu. A fun exercise for those already in the know! Start with Proverbs and work your way out, backward and forwards. Lady Wisdom is in the public square waiting on you.

Dispense with all forms of modern idiocy and diversion. Political action in the remains of the United States is dead. And it was corrupted almost from the beginning. The law is in much the same shape. The US no longer has a legitimate government. The US no longer has a real economy. There is no money in the US. Stop obsessing about these things. What’s thrust forth in their stead are mere illusions. Use them only as absolutely necessary for survival. Otherwise, pay them as little attention as possible. Do not make idols of them and avoid those who do.

Civic nationalism, conservatism, liberalism, libertarianism, false jingoistic patriotism, and enlightened philosophy were all deliberately set traps that have either succeeded or failed depending upon how they are viewed – either way, they are utterly useless. Almost every public institution in the remains of America is dead or dying, from the schools to the media. Almost everything coming out of our failed institutions is a lie, a hoax, a deception, or a scheme designed to enslave and murder. Turn it all off. Stop with mass distractions, television, social media, and the rest of it. It would be far better to be completely uneducated and ignorant than to be polluted by the mind-altering evils of the enemy.

It’s more than okay to say we have an enemy. We do. He and his lowly followers are dead serious. We should be as well.

Like Him or not, follow Him or not, believe in Him or not, Jesus Christ is Lord, He is in charge, He’s coming back, He is not a wimp, and He cannot lose. Pick a side. Let one’s final Tweet or whatever, before one deletes the account, be “#JesusChrist.” The mere thought of His Holy Name harms the enemy.

Become a “prepper.” Odds are, you already meet the basic definition. Odds are, you have a long way to go.

On the other side, try to rebuild the right way. That’s easier said than done or even than explained, the doing of which itself is difficult. In future columns, I’d like to explore some ideas that might work. These will, or may come off as alien to those living in these taxing times. We’ll work through it.

To the greatest extent possible, carry on as if things were normal. Meet the girl. Get married. Stay married. Have many children. Raise them right. Be nice, so long as nice means righteous. Live free but cleanly.

I do not have all of the answers. Indeed, I don’t even understand all of the issues. Neither do you. Neither does anyone else. It’s really not important. Do beware of those who do promise all the answers. Be especially wary of the man who promises all the solutions to all the problems.

Now, as I have run out of points and such for the time being, I hereby call it a wrap.

* It occurred to me that I have essentially written this column previously. And I tire of the same thing over and over. Here’s a binary classification: we have pretty much arrived at the point of having those who are with it and with us and the rest of them. However, for as long as I can, I’ll keep beating the drum.

2033, Balkanization, breakup, civil war, United States

Although, it probably will not look like the neat, convenient regionalization these pollsters present.

A shocking YouGov poll found that 66% of Republicans in southern states want to secede from the United States.

…

Pacific: California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Alaska
Mountain: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico
South: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee
Heartland: Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska
Northeast: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia

I may do a column about this imminent phenomenon, inescapable at this point. Five new nations, or twenty, fifty, or one-hundred-fifty are possible. It’s just a matter of how violent the breakup process will be. It could be entirely peaceful. However, this being a geographic area now filled with warring, retarded, wicked heathens, I suspect it will involve a war the likes of which are rarely seen in history.

The amazing thing is that anywhere from 17-66% of polled individuals (as grouped) see it happening. What’s the average? No idea. It’s likely that a majority are still so stupid, ignorant, and delusional as to disbelieve the inevitable is even possible. Our Balkan friends correctly advise that, even when full-scale war has been in progress for a year, many (perhaps most) people will continue to deny reality; some, I fully believe, will deny it until they become casualties. And that’s the silly part – your acceptance, recognition, or belief is not necessary. In fact, being a casualty is probably the default setting. It’s going to be rough, kids.

If I do the column, I’ll probably focus on the unlikely scenario of a peaceful divorce with divisions as I see them naturally occurring. There’s really no way to foresee exactly what’s going to shake out regardless of how it goes down. But, it is going down. Admitted or not, it’s what almost everyone has been promoting for over fifty years. Everyone is about to get what they’ve been paying for. Yee ha!

Ivan Throne, The Nine Laws, United States

This just came in from Ivan Throne:

‘Ready for the collapse of the United States?’

Ivan here.

If you don’t see the collapse of America coming, you’re looking the other way.

It’s far closer than you think, and that’s simply because too many unsustainable things are hitting all at once, and there’s nothing that can be done about that.

The U.S. military isn’t going to suddenly turn around and say, “we were just kidding about funding the castration of our own recruits, we’re actually warfighters.”

The FBI won’t pause and announce “looks like inciting racial warfare across the country isn’t helpful.”

American politicians aren’t going to swiftly go against the mob and risk being called a bad name by some blue haired ham planet in a rainbow shirt.

I’m sorry, but that’s just the way it is.

The Great Experiment is over.

It is indeed. And, as such, I’ll happily plug THE NINE LAWS again.

2025, forecast, genocide, United States, Vox Day

Vox found some very interesting numbers:

Political breakup or global depopulation

A global forecast site is predicting a 70 percent decline in the US population… by 2025:

As we had reported on ANP back on December 31st of 2017, Deagel was previously forecasting the US population to drop to 54 million people by 2025, down from what was then 324 million people in 2016. Well as we see now in the screenshot above taken from their website page for the United States this morning, Deagel is now forecasting that the 2025 population of the USA will be a nice, round 100 million people – nearly doubling their previous 2025 forecast for America of 54 million.
Yet as it’s easy to see, even a 2025 forecast of 100 million people living here in less than 8 years is STILL DOWN 227 million from the 2017 population of America. How will America LOSE 227 million people by 2025?

What could possibly cause such a rapid, genocidal drop? (Hey! Get your “jab” yet???) Well, if this pans out, it will make the 2033 prediction rather obsolete, won’t it? We’ll know between now and then. Interesting times.

America, nationalism, Paul Craig Roberts, terminal decline, United States

Dr. Roberts sums up the decline and fall of America and the United States.

America’s Demise Is Near At Hand

America R.I.P.

Paul Craig Roberts

For years I have been cataloging America’s decline into collapse, not merely economic collapse from economic concentration and the offshoring of jobs and investment, but also the collapse of the belief system that created some unity among a diverse population. Today not only is the economy done for, but so is the belief system that sustained social and political stability.

America no longer exists. A geographical entity exists of diverse peoples and interests, but not a country, much less a nation. The United States itself has degenerated into an empire. It is no longer simply a country with an empire. The 50 states are themselves the Establishment’s empire, and it can only be held together by force.

Earlier in my life free speech was used by liberals to legalize pornography, homosexual marriage, and abortion, all of which were opposed by the majority of the population. This did not stop liberals from imposing their agendas on the people.

Today free speech is impermissible, because it can be used to protest what half of the population sincerely believes was a stolen presidential election. Even attorneys and legal firms that brought legitimate cases of electoral fraud for clients are being punished for doing the ordinary work of attorneys. The same is happening to university professors and to average Americans who exercised their Constitutionally protected right of free speech and association and attended the Trump rally. …

Incredibly, in keeping with the insouciance that Roberts writes about, some still refuse to even acknowledge there is a difference between a nation (people) and a state (government and borders). Not that either really matters in the US today. Wednesday is going to tell us one of two things. Either way, what’s done is done. The solution is a breakup. The only question is how bad the war of dissolution will be in the end. Europe will have similar problems but is in a much better position. They should survive relatively unscathed. So, if you’re young, White, Christian, and traditional, then do consider a move – NOW. Other young innocent people, you have options too. (Someone should have written a book about this). Everyone else: buckle up for the ride.

A Statement and a Theory

a theory, globalism, Libertarian Party, politics, United States

The pending collapse of the United States has many people fleeing and flying all over the place. Some drift towards the grand alternative to the Uniparty, the Libertarian Party. Some libertarian principles are great, I get that or those. But, as a unifying philosophy, it is as dead as liberalism, conservativism, communism, and so many more failures. As a whole, as represented by the LP, it completely misses the point, the competition between Nationalism and Globalism. In fact, it may officially do worse than that. Here’s the LP’s statement on the peaceful protests of January 6th:

On Wednesday, January 6, as the U.S. Capitol building was being breached, Libertarian National Committee Chair Joe Bishop-Henchman issued the following statement:

“This is not patriotism. This is not protesting. This is reprehensible violence and aggression and needs to stop now. We hope safety for all those who work in the Capitol.”

Since the party’s founding in 1971, a core belief that has bound Libertarians together is the principle of non-aggression in the pursuit of political and social goals. To achieve membership in the national party, prospective members must affirm their pledge to such effect.

In other words, they are in the same camp with the Democrats, the Republicans, and the fake news media.

Based on a new reading of the LP’s core beliefs, I have started working up a theory, which I may delve into later. By the way, barring a counter-coup this coming week, one might as well side with this or any other party one sees fit, as there will likely never be another honest election in the US again. Here’s the theory: Based on the totality of the stated positions and beliefs and on the overall circumstances of reality, I think big-L Libertarianism is a big, soft, smiley face for globalism as sold to stoners. It needs work, but that’s the working thrust of it. It might even be possible if you can believe this, that Libertarianism is ultimately worse, ideologically, and if ideology could be melded with practicality … than communism (if or as a front wing of globalism). Even without the Dominion arrangement, the Party was a dead letter. With Dominion, it is utterly pointless. Still, it has a way of providing comfortable deception and distraction for those prone to smoking dope and maybe a few others, most of whom tend to be decent people.

More on this subject if I can find the time or interest.

American Awakening: Identity Politics and Other Afflictions of Our Time by Joshua Mitchell may be worth reading. Here’s a summary.

America seems to have gone mad. It still is the world’s richest and most powerful country, with the oldest continuous government on earth, yet it is in deep crisis and divided between hostile camps that reject each other’s legitimacy. Paradoxically, what made America strong also makes it inherently fragile. Joshua Mitchell, a professor of government at Georgetown University, presents a cogent diagnosis of America’s dark night of the soul in a remarkable new book that should be required reading for anyone who wants to make sense of today’s United States.

A Chinese acquaintance quips, “Now you are having your own Cultural Revolution.” In fact, the criticism and self-criticism sessions imposed on corporate employees and school personnel to root out hidden racism recall Mao’s Red Guards. But America is not China, and this is not a Cultural Revolution; it is an eruption of Christian religious feeling channeled into secular obsessions.

Asia Times’s review presents a somewhat jumbled but still compelling portrait. I may just pick this one up and report back in a while. If you’d like to beat me to it, check here.

A Matter of Trust

America, culture, decline, diversity, society, trust, United States, WSJ

Well, what do you know? The homogenous American people of 1970 were much more trusting of each other than the assorted Tower of Babel 2.0 USians of 2020. Even the WSJ notices now, even as they can’t find the plain answer.

But as trust theorists have dug deeper, they’ve found that this negative effect is largely correlated not with diversity itself but with segregation. When ethnic groups are concentrated in small geographical areas and have little contact with one another, distrust is high; with greater contact, the effect shrinks. And while ethnic diversity has increased in the U.S. considerably since 1980—around a 50% increase as measured by the National Equity Atlas Diversity Index—ethnic segregation has decreased somewhat.

So, it’s not diversity, it’s just the natural product of diversity? Bullshit. The cartoon picture in the article says it all. Different peoples are not the same, obviously, and they obviously resort to skepticism when dealing with others. And politics has almost nothing to do with it, nor economics; all we have now are “others.”

The America of 1970, already just beginning to feel the horrible effects of 1965, was still about 85% White European – down from about 90% twenty years earlier. Now, where are we? 58%? Whatever it is, it’s falling towards just another plurality in a sea of incompatibility from every corner of the globe. This was the plan and it worked perfectly, causing the destruction of the American Nation. We can trust that the intentions of its authors were utterly evil.

America, nation, terminal decline, United States

No, this is no longer “America.” As I&I notices, that has been gone for some time.

What is the United States of America? A society of elitists vs. the rest? A culture that’s given up on itself? A land of censorship? A nation in which policies and orientation are not merely matters of disagreement but causes of internal and irreconcilable turmoil? It was supposed to be none of these. But today it seems a foreign place, with more in common with the many dystopias of literature than anything the founders of a free nation ever imagined.

…

We’ve been hearing and reading that despite the election’s outcome, Trumpism will continue, and that the American spirit hasn’t fully wilted. We hope this is true, and the down-ballot results seem to confirm it. But it’s undeniable that much of the country is pulling in the other direction. Regarding that, we offer only one suggestion: Resist.

Though the editors confuse the nation with the state, they’re right – the USA is all of the things they question. That is because the American nation has been dissolved and diluted by non-Americans. The best way to resist it to acknowledge reality and history and prepare to rebuild something, somewhere that resembles America – a place for the Americans. The rest of them may have their dystopias.

Ideas To Think About

civil war, coup, election, rebellion, secession, Trump, United States

Questions that may soon be answered. Things are heating up.

Texas GOP Chairman Allen West put out a statement suggesting states should secede from the union in response to the ruling.

‘This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the US constitution and not be held accountable,’ West said in a statement after the ruling.

‘Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.’

…

Vloggers Diamond and Silk, aka Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, also called for drastic action, tweeting a demand for military action.

‘If the Supreme Court can’t save our Republic, then where is the Military?’ they tweeted.

Secession is going to happen sooner or later, the mocking protestations of idiots like AOC notwithstanding. As for the military, if Trump decides to act, I assume they’re already ready. And, my guess – as good as anyone’s right now – would be on or about January 11th.

These two concepts mentioned together are interesting. The “law-abiding” states have the right to be free of the criminal interference of the others. Anyone, AOC included, who doesn’t like that concept will have a hard time arguing against any military intervention by Trump. These same morons gleefully told Southerners for years that it was a-okay and definitively settled that a president can and should use martial force to suppress a rebellion. Trump’s case is much more justified than Lincoln’s.

The next month will be most interesting.

*Here, I gladly forgive all this chitchat about the Constitution and the Republic.
