Nothing to do with cars.

Jesús Huerta de Soto’s interesting and relevant essay excerpts: Classical Liberalism versus Anarchocapitalism: from LRC.

“The state has become the “idol” everyone turns to and worships. Statolatry is without a doubt the most serious and dangerous social disease of our time.”

Because nothing says, “Good Morning, Friday,” like a good old political theory essay.

It’s this coming Sunday. And fifteen years later we still know next to nothing about what happened that fateful day. The lies and miscommunication have passed into myth and legend. Much that was known at the time has now been largely forgotten.

Jeff Clyburn composed a list of known “knowns” about 9/11. Many of these have been lost for sometime on the public. The owners and controllers of America would have us all forget them. A few tidbits:

The money trail was never followed to its logical conclusion. The 9/11 Commission concluded the question of who funded the attacks “was of little practical significance.”

…

Indian intelligence, corroborated by the FBI, showed a wire transfer of $100,000 from the phone of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Mahmud Ahmad to 9/11 lead hijacker Mohammed Atta in 2000. Ahmad (also reported as Ahmed) was in Washington D.C. on the morning of the attacks, meeting with US lawmakers.

The $100,000 transaction was never mentioned in the 9/11 Commission report — and Ahmad was never detained for questioning.

The “28 pages” from a redacted chapter of the 2002 Joint Inquiry report into the attacks, we were told, had “nothing to do with national security.” But national security was the very reason given for withholding them for 14 years by both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama White Houses.

…

In the days before 9/11, highly abnormal levels of put options — bets that a stock price will fall — were in place on major US stock markets for not only the airlines involved, but also for multiple financial giants that suffered significant losses in the attacks.

The SEC’s investigation into those irregularities gave little details for their benign conclusion that all trades were legitimate and curiously destroyed all their records.

Blaming Iraq was the talking point advanced by the Bush administration within days of the attacks. Later, multiple reports surfaced alleging that the neoconservatives who made up the hawkish Project for a New American Century think tank and the Bush Administration had been planning for (and discussing the need to publicly justify) an invasion of Iraq (and Afghanistan) long before 9/11.

Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

These are but a few of the known, if disregarded facts about 9/11. Then there is the matter of questions and controversy. I wonder if any of this will be brought up during the national “celebration” of 9/11 this Sunday/Monday. I suspect not.

wtc7billboard

The Daily Sheeple.

And I’m serious about the celebration part. 9/11 has rapidly become the premier holiday of statism in America, a holy day for the unholy. Without those events Washington would have had to wait years before commencing lucrative wars and Draconian, Stalinist security theater. This too, is well-known if overlooked.

Fifteen years is a long time but not so long as to preclude an honest investigation. Twenty years or fifty years on and it will be a moot point. Maybe it’s all moot now. Ponder that this weekend.

Satanic Invocations Over America: Sign of the Times

MRCTV had an interesting, if disturbing, article last week about a city council meeting in Alaska. Like most such affairs in America it was kicked off with a religious invocation. The invocation was unusual in that it was given by some Alaskan satanists.

Let us stand now, unbowed and unfettered by arcane doctrines, born of fearful minds in darkened times. Let us embrace the Luciferian impulse to eat of the tree of knowledge and dissipate our blissful and comforting delusions of old. Let us demand that individuals be judged for their concrete actions, not their fealty to arbitrary social norms and illusory categorizations.

Let us reason our solutions with agnosticism in all things, holding fast only to that which is demonstrably true. Let us stand firm against any and all arbitrary authority that threatens the personal sovereignty of all or one.

That which will not bend must break and that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared its demise. It is done. Hail Satan.

“It is done. Hail Satan.” This is not your grandfather’s country anymore. Such words of “blessing” at a public gathering are unusual but are part of a growing trend. I recently watched a video of a similar spectacle in Pensacola, Florida.

satanism

What. The. Hell? MRCTV.org.

America is, or was, a Christian nation. Naturally, Christian priests and pastors were called on to lead prayers before official meetings. Now, however, in post-American times, cities are caving to the forces of darkness out of fear of lawsuits. The courts and the lawyer class have twisted the First Amendment into a weapon against public morality. I fail to see how having Christian prayers somehow constitutes either the establishment of one religion or the banning of others. To me, it merely reflects respect for the majority sentiment and homage to the wisdom which founded the country. No longer.

In years past the debate sometimes centered on a Catholic invocation versus Protestant. This was not a matter of apples and oranges, but of different types of apples. Christian versus satanic messages isn’t apples and oranges either; it is apples and horseshit. The Alaskan and Floridian satanic messages were less about the devil and more about smart aleck atheism – sly jabs at the Christian faith and believers (which, of course, is the Devil’s work).

The lawyers’ work is done. The courts have ruled. The politicians have caved. Still, it isn’t entirely the government’s fault. Some blame lies with the Christian churches in America, Catholic and Protestant. Pat Buchanan dedicated two, back-to-back chapters in one of his books to this phenomenon. The Catholic Church (Latin [Roman] especially) has done a pitiful job of promoting and defending itself, instead dedicating it’s time to cover-ups and institutionalism for institutionalism’s sake.

The Protestant churches, born of arbitrary changes, have kept on arbitrarily changing to fit the times. Whereas Catholicism has been perceived as not changing enough or not changing at all, the descendants of Calvin and Wesley have changed too much. Some of these have completely ceased to even resemble churches.

I spend a lot of my time on road trips. Often, with nothing to do but drive, I tune in to local Christian stations. I particularly pay attention to broadcasts from older, senior pastors. Most of these are Protestant, frequently Baptist. I’m Catholic but I do love the apples to apples bluntness in the messages. Recently I listened to an independent Baptist preacher in Jacksonville. He decried the rise of “cotton candy” theology and he nailed it as a problem. I paraphrase: The typical “Christian” worship experience at the new, nondenominational mega-“churches” consists of 45 minutes of rock music followed by a 10-15 minute, feel-good sermonette about nothing. He said of this false gospel nonsense: “It tastes good but it isn’t very filling.” He’s right. The majority of our churches have dropped the ball.

The people themselves have done worse. To them goes the lion’s share of responsibility. In a way it is fitting that agents of Lucifer preside over American government gatherings. Most government at any given time and all of them, given enough time, will cross over from being mildly intrusive to completely evil. As that process unfolds today, legions of Americans gleefully anticipate and revere the doings of the state. Many (a huge number, maybe approaching a marjoity) now, in some form or fashion, literally worship the state itself. Government power is now a religion, possibly the largest in the United States. God has nothing to do with it. People may deny this though theirs constant genuflection to the civic altar rather gives them away.

“It is done.” Perhaps it is so. But there is a chance it may still be undone. Praise Jesus!

Gun Control: The Great Divide (Over Nothing)

Mass shootings, terror attacks, and assassinations always prompt a heated national “discussion” on the matter of firearms and firearms control (the private ones, mind you). As with any important issue there are many competing ideas and angles though there are two predominant groups that get attention – pro-gun control and anti-gun control. While I am solidly in favor of the private ownership and use of firearms, my anarchist disposition gives me a unique, almost outside view.

As I see the current debate one side, the gun controllers, really want a complete ban on all private firearms though they present their ideology in terms of “responsible”, incremental measures designed only to ensure safety. The other side, the NRA side, nominally defends the Second Amendment while agreeing to many of the same incremental controls sought by the other side. I see both groups ultimately seeking to use the power of government to advance their own agendas and the agenda and existence of the government itself. They are both allied with the state. I have no use for any of them.

Some of the gun grabbers are blatant about their ultimate aim – Rolling Stone called for the repeal of the Second Amendment. Other grabbers pretend to agree that individuals have the right to keep and bear arms while insisting that those arms never be used for defensive purposes.

The main problem with the notion of self-defense is it imposes on justice, for everyone has the right for a fair trial. Therefore, using a firearm to defend oneself is not legal because if the attacker is killed, he or she is devoid of his or her rights. In addition, one’s mental capacity is a major factor in deciding whether a man or woman has the right to have a firearm.

The author of this insane Huffington Post statement wants to alter, rather than abolish, the 2A in order to nullify it. The author takes into account only those relatively few crimes committed and lives lost to the illegal use of guns. Considered in totality, privately owned guns save far more lives every day and every year than they take. Then again, by this man’s standards, each such lawful defensive usage constitutes a deprivation of the original aggressor’s right.

The only thing I can think of to attempt to justify this kind of logic is that this fellow obviously worships the government as a god and regards laws as a religion. Like a Natural Law theorist, he seeks to conform all positive law to the designs of and the adoration of his god. He would happily place the primacy of the state over the lives of human beings. He is a statist’s statist. Some on the other side do a good job of refuting this nonsense:

We have a government here that is heedless of its obligation to protect our freedoms. We have a government that, in its lust to have us reliant upon it, has created areas in the U.S. where innocent folks living their lives in freedom are made defenseless prey to monsters—as vulnerable as fish in a barrel. And we have mass killings of defenseless innocents—over and over and over again.

How dumb are these politicians who want to remove the right to self-defense? There are thousands of crazies in the U.S. who are filled with hate—whether motivated by politics, self-loathing, religion, or fear. If they want to kill, they will find a way to do so. The only way to stop them is by superior firepower. Disarming their law-abiding victims not only violates the natural law and the Constitution but also is contrary to all reason.

All these mass killings have the same ending: The killer stops only when he is killed. But that requires someone else with a gun to be there. Shouldn’t that be sooner rather than later?

The NRA is the poster child of the pro-Second Amendment movement. They are vilified by the New York Times:

What makes the legislative inaction all the more maddening is that there is general public agreement in favor of attempts like these to reduce the bloodshed. An overwhelming majority of Americans — including gun owners and even N.R.A. members — support universal background checks, while strong majorities want to block sales to suspected terrorists and ban high-capacity magazines.

And yet the N.R.A. rejects these steps, even though it says that terrorists shouldn’t be able to get guns. Instead, it clings to the absurd fantasy that a heavily-armed populace is the best way to keep Americans safe. That failed in Orlando, where an armed security guard was on the scene but could not stop the slaughter.

There is no truth to any of this dribble from the fallen Gray Lady. The worst of the lies is that the NRA is complicit with terrorism and that it blocks those “common sense” gun control measures. It does not. The NRA seems more than happy with the bulk of the existing gun control measure – all of them unconstitutional. While the NRA backs lawsuits to overturn various local measures, they roundly accept the Gun Control Act and the National Firearms Act. Both of these laws treat all Americans like criminals and bar the easy or economical possession of the type of weapons actually protected by the Second Amendment.

The NRA also agrees with the opposition regarding the expansion of watch lists – to exclude terrorists from the gun pool of course, and no more… Their own words on the matter:

Fairfax, Va.— The executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action, Chris W. Cox, released the following statement regarding terror watchlists:

We are happy to meet with Donald Trump. The NRA’s position on this issue has not changed. The NRA believes that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms, period. Anyone on a terror watchlist who tries to buy a gun should be thoroughly investigated by the FBI and the sale delayed while the investigation is ongoing. If an investigation uncovers evidence of terrorist activity or involvement, the government should be allowed to immediately go to court, block the sale, and arrest the terrorist. At the same time, due process protections should be put in place that allow law-abiding Americans who are wrongly put on a watchlist to be removed. That has been the position of Sen. John Cornyn (R.-Tex.) and a majority of the U.S. Senate. Sadly, President Obama and his allies would prefer to play politics with this issue.

This statement places the NRA (and Donald Trump by association) in the same position regarding gun control as Senate Democrats and the Obama administration – though the Executive seems a little at odds with itself as to how the proposed list measures would be (will be) implemented. Proposals to expand the “no-fly” list to cover firearms purchases has even drawn the ire of the ACLU as the list procedures (as they exists and as proposed) violate fundamental due process.

The NRA, Donald Trump, Hussein Obama, and their friends are all wrong. There is no due process at all concerning these controls. The new Senate proposal, S.551, mentions due process protection and then negates it in the same paragraph.

The government really has no dog in this fight as it is the primary creator and enabler of terrorism today. If not for the unceasing meddling and misadventure of the state there wouldn’t be any terrorists in our nation to worry about and no need for any lists nor for gun control.

A former CIA agent admits the government and the elites are the problem:

A former CIA counterterrorism agent has said it is time to talk about why terrorism really happens, and to address the “misguided narratives” that lead to oversimplification of the situation and continued war.

Amaryllis Fox worked on counterterrorism and intelligence in the CIA’s clandestine service for ten years. She told AJ+ that the beliefs surrounding terrorism are “stories manufactured by a really small number of people on both sides, who amass a great deal of power and wealth by convincing the rest of use to keep killing each other.”

Fox says the current conversation about Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in the US “is more oversimplified than ever.”

“Ask most Americans whether ISIS poses an existential threat to this country and they’ll say yes. That’s where the conversation stops,” she said.

Her observation echo what H.L. Mencken said about the government’s imaginary hobgoblins a century ago. Hitler concurred that terrorism (real or manufactured) is the best way to keep people panicked and, therefore, controlled. Gun control is about people control. Terrorism, war, and government in general are about creating and maintaining power for a few. It’s that simple. That’s what they’re working towards.

And, they are working hard. After Washington stirs up an already volatile region in begins to import the angered locals into America. Some really are hapless refugees. Others are terrorists – as the CIA admits. Oddly … or not, many of the recent notable terror suspects in America have had some ties to the CIA. This should raise serious questions and red flags about the state’s motives and how those motives negatively affect the rest of us – but it doesn’t. The bulk of the discussion put forward by either side of the political divide or by the government itself is: what else can the government do?

What they are doing is just more of the same. The people keep seeing their freedoms chipped away. The elites keep amassing power. The useless laws grow. The attacks, foreign and domestic, continue. They unvetted “refugees” keep pouring in – over 400 from Syria alone – since the Battle of Orlando this past weekend.

The horror and the comedy of the divide is how pointless it all is. Until the ridiculous, blasphemous, and hellish cult of government is dealt with, none of it matters.

Decoration Day

“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Jesus, Mark 12:17 (KJV). Much speculation has passed regarding what things are rightly Caesar’s; Jesus did not provide great specificity. He also did not speak much to the manner of rendering.

Decoration Day, or Memorial Day (as termed in the 20th Century), falls into the category of things rendered to Caesar – a day to remember those who died in martial government service. Says Facebook today:

nimbus-image-1464606720514

Facebook, May 30, 2016.

Note, they say “gratitude for those who have served” not “those who served and died” as originally intended. They also promote pomp and jingoism (waving a BIG flag). This is the modern, statist interpretation of the Day – fireworks, speeches, cookouts, car sales. Today it is less about remembering the dead of war (war produces a lot of dead) but more about loud appreciation of government and government violence. If this is a secular, Caesar-rendering thing, then is this the proper manner for the rendering?

Jesus, again, provides insight, (indirectly) via his advice on prayer: “…thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.”  Matthew 6:5.

Today is a day to quietly remember the fallen and not to bombastically celebrate the government for which they fell. It might also serve as a good opportunity to consider the state’s quest to constantly add to the ranks of the fallen. Might we be better off with a memorial to war – meaning war as something dead and buried, gone – a grave to cover with flowers?

Venezuela: Statist Paradise

Simon Bolivar, the father of Venezuela, was a fan of Thomas Jefferson and both the American and the French revolutions. His belief was that South American countries would benefit from republican government so long as there was a firm hand in the government. Looking around his lands, he decried what he called the “triple yoke of ignorance, tyranny, and vice”. Over the past two centuries he’s been proven right and wrong about his creations.

Modern Venezuela is a fantastic country plagued with less-than-fantastic governance. The firm hand Bolivar thought necessary has proven a curse of late (from Hugo Chavez to Nicolas Maduro). The country has also slowly slid off the American model (a little more than America itself has) and into the abyss of socialism.

The United States has, thanks to the industriousness of her people, resisted the perils of statism longer and better than most. That is rapidly changing in the 21st century. Still, some think that America was made great because of various socialistic experiments rather than in spite of them. All of the popular contenders for President are pro-government. Two push traditional liberal/socialist policies and one of those two (Bernie) is a hardliner. Anyone thinking of supporting Bernie, specifically, or the government in general should take a close look at what is unfolding in Venezuela.

Electricity, water, phone access, police services and food are in short supply as a result of decades of mismanagement of the economy. (All socialist intervention is mismanagement.) The global financial crisis is helping to accelerate the vulnerable nation’s decline. A seeming side benefit of the crisis – curtailing of government services on a grand scale – is an illusion. Martial law is being formulated, being partly enacted via two recent state of emergency decrees from Maduro. Such places are prone to military coops. Venezuela will survive but not before the people there see a good deal of needless suffering.

American preppers are taking note as the scenario in Venezuela might as well have come from the warnings of a prepping website. Some are pointing and saying, “see, we told you so.” It could all happen to the U.S.

Others would do well to pay attention too. Most will not. The majority of America citizens are not aware of any wolf at the door until he comes through and pounces on the bed. Even then, most would only ask him not to block the TV. Many elites don’t or won’t care as they have helped create these conditions in the first place. Academics share a large responsibility. A huge share of that blame goes to law professors. American law schools, demographically, do not resemble America – at least not traditional (former) America. According to a Rasmussen Media study 82% of law school professors are Democrats and less than half are Christians.

Based on my experience, I’d say 82% is a little light. Substituting “leftist” for “Democrat” would steer the number closer to 99%. As of last year there were six professors in the entire nation who identified as libertarian, anarchist, or adherents of Natural Law – and one died in January. They are statistical outliers.

The 82% or 99% (or virtual 100%) preach never-ending statism. Government, they say, is the end-all, be-all super solution to any and all problems. Given the “triumph” of their adored system in Venezuela, I’d suggest most of them move there. I know they won’t as they also have a fondness for things like electricity, telephones, and food. To think, they shun paradise. Odd.

El Libertador. Google.

**Note: two names in this non-cigar piece are titanic in the cigar world. “Bernie” ain’t one.

Divine Justice?

A crazy man in Israel tried to get a restraining order against God. I did not make this up.

The unnamed Haifa resident, pro se, “argued that over a three-year period God, had exhibited a seriously negative attitude toward him, although details of just what divine mischief he had borne the brunt of were not mentioned in the report.” Previously the man sought assistance from the local police, who instead chose to conduct welfare checks at the man’s home.

The judge denied the petition and suggested the man needs help from “other resources”. That probably means from a shrink. If psychology isn’t behind the man’s problems then he should consult his Torah and the trials of Job. Sometimes bad things happen to good people but rarely without greater reason.

This story illustrates a growing philosophical trouble in America, in Europe, and it seems in Israel. Modern people are placing inordinate faith in government – replacing the authority of God with that of the state. It is rightly the other way around. Positive law flows from the Natural Law which is a divine construct. God is originally behind all of our attempts to legislate and govern (some attempts truer, sounder than others). This would include courts and restraining orders. Heck, it includes the surrounding greater universe too.

The old maxim is “let justice be done, though the heavens fall” not “let Heaven fall for justice”.

The Hamiltonian Cult

Like I said the other day the cult of Hamilton is almost as strong as that of Lincoln. Thomas DiLorenzo, who exposed the evil and fraud of Imperial Abe, gets it:

The establishment adores Hamilton (and hates Jefferson) because Hamilton was a consummate statist and imperialist. He persistently denounced his nemesis Jefferson for his “excessive concern for liberty.” When President Jefferson announced in his first inaugural address that his foreign policy would be “honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none,” and that “A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government . . .”, Hamilton denounced it as “the symptom of a pygmy mind.” Hamilton wanted a more centrally-planned and government-subsidized and supervised economy, and was itching to start a war with France in the name of what he called “imperial glory.”

By coincidence (and good fortune) the statists revere two men who were both shot in the head. Given our obsession with holidays, may I propose “Burr-Booth Day”? A holiday first, canonization second.

Hamilton’s D’oh! moment. Google.

“Refugee” Crisis Reveals Massive Government Incompetence

Never underestimate the awesome stupidity of the state. The unfolding Islamic invasion has shed new light on government efforts to plumb the depths of idiocy.

Despite the obvious and lethal failure of the 21st Century mass migration/third world conversion policies the statists still want more. More when even a little is extremely dangerous.

Analysts think the Parisian attacks may have cost the terrorists less than $10,000. That price divided by $925 gives you the approximate number of jihadis we’re told were directly involved. Amazing. You pay for your own demise. Convenient.

Nothing can be easy or cheap enough for them. Any solution for you must be prohibitively expensive; it must not be allowed. A review of the emerging video and photo footage of the attacks reveal instances where an armed citizen could have returned fire on the savages. This might not have turned the tide but it would have broken some waves. It would have sent a message – a message the government does not want.

A jammed AK provides an opportunity to shoot back. Dailymail.

France has restrictive gun laws. At least normal people are restricted. The laws don’t seem to slow criminals at all. Another government failure. Yet the fools have already called for more restrictions. A rumor circulates that his Excellency Obama will use his final year in office in an attempt to move American gun laws closer to the perfection of places like France. If successful, we will see similar results.

The “refugees” stream into America even as I write. Many are not waiting for generous welfare handouts; they’re coming in illegally and undocumented. They also seem to be disproportionately young, healthy men. Things must be very bad indeed if they choose to abandon their women, children and elders in the war zones.

Young, healthy Syrian men have been arrested in Honduras, headed for America with fake Greek passports. That doesn’t prove them terrorists but it does prove an oddity. More were caught at the Texas border. At least these were stopped. Many make it in – illegally or officially.

Al-CIA-da members have already been arrested after using the refugee ruse to settle in Kentucky. Again, young, healthy, weapon wielding men. No word about their families left behind. The U.S. admits there may be dozens more terrorists unaccounted for. Lax background checks are blamed. I blame government stupidly.

HT_al-qaeda_weapons_split_nt_131118_33x16_1600

Pitiful Refugees. FBI.

Government programs are a study in serious failure. The TSSA, allegedly created to protect us from terrorists, can’t even detect weapons in 75% of test cases. Very reassuring. They do excel at strip-searching grandmothers and college girls. This foolishness costs us a fortune too.

Our government only wants to resettle “refugees” of terror-prone Islamic nature. Any others need not apply. Of 827 Somalian “refugees” brought to America in a 6 week period, only one was a Christian, the rest, all of them, Muslim. It’s the same with Syrians and all others. They only come into Western nations. Wealthy, peaceful Middle Eastern countries will not have them. Saudi Arabia has tent cities up and ready – capable of comfortably housing millions – but they have not accepted a single “refugee.” What does that tell you?

The sleeper agents are here and they are preparing more attacks. ISIS is already threatening D.C. and Times Square with Paris-style violence. It will happen again. And again. And, probably, again. All thanks not to lax checks and enforcement, but to open and reckless abandonment of the people by their government.

Prepare as you can and remember all of this when the shyster politicians beg you for your votes.

The Frog and the Scorpion

A frog was about to swim across a river. At the bank a scorpion solicited the frog’s service. The scorpion, also desiring to cross, could not swim and asked the frog for a ride. The fearful frog initially refused. However, the scorpion pleaded he only required transportation and vowed not to sting the frog. The frog then agreed and the scorpion hopped on his back. Halfway across the scorpion stung the frog. The frog cried, “You fool. Now we’re both going to drown!” The scorpion replied, “Sorry. It’s in my nature.”

The Farmer and the Viper

A kindly Farmer was walking through the snow. He happened upon a Viper nearly frozen to death. Being an animal lover, the farmer picked up the viper and placed it in his shirt. The viper revived and immediately bit the farmer. As the farmer collapsed he said, “Why did you bite me? We’re both dead now!” Said the viper, “You knew what I was when you picked me up.”

The Frenchman and the Terrorist

Do I have to tell you this story?

I don’t have to tell you moral either, do I?

546397386Monsieur Scorpion. You know his nature; don’t pick him up. Google images.

Some need the lesson. Even after the worst atrocities in France since the Nazi occupation and as Paris is turned into Fallujah, many refuse to acknowledge reality. So many of “elites” whine on about the rights of Islamists to do whatever they will and about the plight of “refugees” – a.k.a. the welfare/warfare tribes to sponge off of over-taxed Westerners.

The “refugees,” mostly young men of fighting age and in remarkably good health, come from nations where those same elites either started or exacerbated wars. They didn’t just happen upon the vipers but, rather, went in search of them. Then, insanely, they brought them home. Now that the inevitable is happening they blame the victims of terror for imaginary bigotry.

Fools like Barack Obama and Angela Merkel are desperate to keep their power and relevance alive. Even at the cost of the lives of those people they are charged to defend. They see no problem with the terrorism and want more (tons more) of these barbarians to wreck the West.

Once the “refugees” are embedded in their hosts (like tapeworms) no thought is given to monitoring their activities. This from the group that spies on us 24/7.

Organizations like Catholic Social Services funnel the invaders into our countries and then do nothing.

A Syrian refugee relocated to Louisiana has already gone missing, but the group accommodating them isn’t taking responsibility.

WBRZ reports:

WBRZ has learned Catholic Charities helped the refugee who settled in Baton Rouge, but said the immigrant left for another state after a couple of days, and they don’t know where the refugee went since they don’t track them.

“We’re at the receiving end,” Chad Aguillard, executive director of Catholic Charities, says. “We receive them, we welcome them into our community and help them resettle. There has been a lot of commotion and fear with Syrians. The fear is justified, but we have to check that against reality.”

Against what reality? That civilized people just need to grin and bear it? And pay for it? For, pay we do:

“Every refugee receives a sum of money from the government that’s welcome money. It’s $925 per person — a one-time sum,” the organization employee tells the caller.

That’s only the beginning. She also rattled off a laundry list of services offered to incoming refugees intended to make them “self-sufficient and independent,” including:

Being picked up at the airport
Finding and securing an apartment
Setting up the apartment “so it’s livable”
Providing bus orientation
Transporting them to Social Security office to apply for card
Helping find employment
Eight weeks of English as Second Language (ESL) classes

…

In addition to the “welcome money,” refugees are also eligible to sign up for a few “cash assistance programs” but are supposedly only eligible to enroll in one.

In Germany they are actually kicking retirees out of subsidized homes to make room for these new guests. Unbelievable.

$925 buys a lot of bomb-friendly cleaning supplies. The assistance money must come in handy for buying AKs.Is anyone other than Obama and Merkel okay with this arrangement?

This is criminal but not unexpected. A long time ago I had dealings with Catholic Social Services in Atlanta. As a church member and, then, an attorney I was interested in helping them help the less fortunate fight for their liberties. That is my mission – defending freedom. I thought it was theirs as well.

I could not have been more wrong. I had a lunch meeting with a woman, a director of services. I asked how I could fit in. She asked what I would do and how I could help. I told her about my desire to bring everyone up to the highest level possible. I reminded her of Dr. King’s design for a colorblind and truly equal, harmonious society under Christ.

I was excited but the more I spoke, the less expression she had. She knew I was not a communist. She could tell I lacked “white guilt.” She realized I would not plot the destruction of civilized society on behalf of the scheming power-mongers.

I never heard from her again. No one from Social Services ever got back to me. I’m glad for it. I saw through their masquerade. I sighted agents of the fifth column.

The folks do accomplish good works of charity. But, they are tainted by a sadism of statist origin. They are agents of the one world, elitist, globalist cabal. Their real work manifested itself in Paris last week. And, they want more.

Leave the vipers where they are. Do not heed the scorpion’s pleas against his own nature. Otherwise you will be stung or bitten.
