CBS News did a video story which, I assume, is similar to the pitiful New York Daily News piece on the horrors of the AR-15. CBS News’ Paula Reid bought an AR-15 at a gun store in Virginia to show how easy it is to buy a AR-15 in America. The intention, again as I imagine it, was to frighten the people into accepting gun control. There’s just one problem for CBS News – gun control.

It seems Ms. Reid may have run afoul of the federal government’s laws against “straw purchases” of firearms.

The gun store where a CBS News employee purchased a gun for a segment that aired Thursday on “CBS This Morning” has filed a report with the Virginia State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives over concerns the purchase was unlawful.

The store, SpecDive Tactical in Alexandria, Virginia, said that when CBS News’ Paula Reid purchased the rifle she told the store’s general manager the gun was for her own use. However, when CBS reported on the story they revealed the gun was purchased for the story and transferred to a third party a few hours later. “The rifle we purchased was legally transferred to a federally licensed firearms dealer and weapons instructor in Virginia, just hours after we bought it,” the report said.

The store said they contacted the ATF after viewing the report because they feared the misdirection used by the CBS reporter constituted a straw purchase, which would be a federal crime.

And, I warned about this three years ago. CBS should have heeded my warning. Then, I said:

A straw purchase is where a convicted felon or some other person prohibited by law from buying a gun (an ever-expanding group) pays a “normal” person to buy a gun and then give it to the prohibited person. The website above has all the horrible statistics about this practice. For the average person such a crime can carry severe penalties. [I then told how the ATF, which regulates the law, breaks it all the time with impunity.]

…

Imagine you’re one of the lucky Americans who still lives in a free state or city (I pray you are).  One evening after work you are walking home enjoying the night air.  You duck down a dark alley to take a shortcut.  Suddenly a scruffy, greasy, shiftless-looking bum of a politician in a trenchcoat comes slithering out of the shadows towards you.  He’s of the desperate variety from New York or D.C. or somewhere.  Instinctively, you assume a fighting stance and drop the safety on your pistol.  But, for once, you are baffled to discover this is a politician who wants to give you money rather than steal it from you.  He offers forth from beneath his smelly, stained coat a paper sack stuffed full of $100 bills.  With all the charm of a diseased wharf rat he tries to entice you to purchase some AR-15s on behalf of his storm-trooper corps.

Once the shock of the situation wears off you may, for a moment, be sorely tempted to take his money, shoot him, and say he was trying to mug you.  Don’t do it!  For one thing, leave evil to the evil.  And, for God’s sake, do not lie for this slimy degenerate!  Have nothing else to do with him!  Rodent-like beings such as our hypothetical politician are often under investigation for corruption by some larger criminal organization.  Loudly and clearly tell the creep you are not interested in breaking the law on his behalf.  Say it several times in different directions so the FBI’s cameras and microphones record definitively that you are not a participant in his conspiracy.  Then tell the rat where to go and continue on your way.  You may have to take a long shower and burn your clothes as a result of the encounter, but at least you won’t end up in prison like the dude in the above picture.

Don’t Lie For The Political Guy!

The shop owner in Virginia didn’t rely on the surveillance state but he did file complaints with the ATF and the VA state police. Hilarius.

I think CBS need not worry about the straw purchase law for two reasons. One, who runs the ATF right now? People sympathetic to terrorizing people into more gun control. Second, given that the AR was to be transferred to an FFL – likely not a “prohibited person”, there’s no technical violation.

However, there is a law concerning the ATF form CBS had to fill out to buy the AR. If they misrepresented information on that form they could be in trouble (but probably not). That’s part of what is wrong with our laws. They allow for selective prosecution – well, maybe that’s an enforcement issue. The main problem is that they are Unconstitutional. I see nowhere in the Old Parchment where Congress has the authority to regulate arms beyond regulating the Militia (that, they have ceded to the states).

All these lovely little laws, 18 U.S.C. § 921, et seq., ad nauseam, can be found in the ATF’s concise little (242-page) Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide (2005). It’s incomplete, yes, and there’s disagreement even within the ATF as to how some of the laws apply, but hey, that’s the government you voted for.

nimbus-image-1466386837558

If there’s a moral to this story, in general, it is to beware of laws, those spider’s webs of injustice. Specifically, here, beware of gun control laws when you’re trying to push more gun control laws.

In the wake of the false flag Battle of Orlando the satanic government and it’s supporters are running around mad trying to disarm would-be victims of terrorism. Senate Democrats, President Hussein Obama, and DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson are pushing S.551 which would allow the Attorney General to ban ANYONE from purchasing or owning firearms. Democrats and Republicans are both working to close “loopholes” that don’t exist. The closing will make it harder for decent people to buy guns. The mighty NRA has caved (again) and is backing a scheme partially similar to S.551. The Donald, who used to back gun control, now says he’s against it. The politically altered Supreme Court is once again examining another set of illegal firearms laws and conflicting rulings from the Fourth and Seventh Circuits. Both of those rulings concern “assault rifles” which, along with all other types of rifles, account for less than half the yearly number of murders attributed to punches and kicks.

The storm clouds formed pretty quick over sunny Second Amendment Land.

It’s not just politicians and lawyers attacking firearms. The sorry excuse for a media industry in America is hard at work too. Gersch Kuntzman (… these names …) is a wimp at the New York Daily News. Following the Battle of Orlando he went to a gun range to shoot an AR-15. The experience traumatized the poor man. “It felt to me like a bazooka — and sounded like a cannon,” Kuntzman cried, “I was terrified.” I’m sure he was.

The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.

Even in semi-automatic mode, it is very simple to squeeze off two dozen rounds before you even know what has happened. If modified to fully automatic mode, it doesn’t take any imagination to see dozens of bodies falling in front of your barrel.

All it takes is the will to do it.

Forty nine people can be gone in 60 seconds.

His point is: guns are bad. Guns killed forty-nine people in 60 seconds. Actually, it took 3 hours but who’s keeping track of time.

Back to why he’s terrified … I know why. He loved shooting that AR and he’s ashamed to admit it. No black rifle variant is anything like a cannon. There is next to no recoil from a .223/5.56. They’re just plain fun. I have personally converted several “liberal” anti-gun types through the sheer magic of shooting an AR (and/or a fully automatic sub-machine gun). You have to drag them away from the range with great effort. Kuntzman left feeling like he’s just done a line off coke while racing a Formula One car. Then, as he dragged himself away, he realized he must either switch sides or lie about his experience. Hats off to him for maintaining his leftist identity.

Meanwhile the real attacks continue. Officials say the Somalian muslin “refugee” terrorist in Amarillo wasn’t a terrorist at all – merely a disgruntled employee passed over for a promotion.

Police Sgt. Brent Barbee says the suspect, 54-year-old Mohammad Moghaddam, took his manager and another person hostage over a dispute related to a promotion. Barbee says Moghaddam was a current employee at the Wal-Mart store.

Police say officers responded to the incident around 11 a.m. Authorities say a police SWAT crew entered the area of the store where the hostages were located around 12:20 p.m. and fatally shot Moghaddam.

Barbee says Moghaddam was armed with a handgun.

This may be true but I imagine the hostages felt terrorized, stout Texans though they be.

Elsewhere in Texas another jihadi, Peshwaz Azad Waise, was arrested without much incident after making Allah-laced threats at the local courthouse.

Peshwaz later arrived at the Denton County Court House at 1415 E. McKinney. He went inside and was stopped at the security checkpoint. He told security officers he was “the King.” [And he looks nothing like Elvis].

Sheriff’s Office deputies were summoned and they escorted him outside the building. While being detained, Peshwaz became agitated and said, “I’m imposing the death penalty (on the officers who were dealing with him.)” He later told them, “Anybody who touches me is going to bleed.”

Denton Police officers obtained an arrest warrant for terroristic threat for Peshwaz. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Denton City Jail. He remains in custody at this time.

Over in New Mexico another “refugee,” an illegal alien muslim, was arrested on suspicion of planning a pipeline bombing.

Police in a U.S. town bordering Mexico have apprehended an undocumented, Middle Eastern woman in possession of the region’s gas pipeline plans, law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch. Authorities describe the woman as an “Islamic refugee” pulled over during a traffic stop by a deputy sheriff in Luna County, New Mexico which shares a 54-mile border with Mexico. County authorities alerted the U.S. Border Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) has been deployed to the area to investigate, sources with firsthand knowledge of the probe confirm.

I’m sure that was all workplace related too.

The JTTF is being deployed all over the place. Post Orlando tips are pouring in and the FBI has about 10,000 open terrorism investigations.

For the FBI many of these are more than just investigations. Many are false flag/entrapment operations. Such was the case with Omar Mateen:

New York Daily News in their article, “FBI spied on Orlando gay club terrorist Omar Mateen for 10 months in 2013: FBI Director James Comey,” would admit (emphasis added):
Mateen first appeared on authorities’ radar in 2013 after the security guard’s colleagues alerted the FBI to inflammatory statements he made to colleagues claiming “family connections to Al Qaeda,” according to Comey.

Mateen also told coworkers he had a family member who belonged to Hezbollah, a Shia network that is a bitter enemy of ISIS — the network he pledged allegiance to the night of the carnage, Comey noted.

The FBI’s Miami office opened an inquiry into Mateen.

“He said he hoped that law enforcement would raid his apartment and assault his wife and child so he could martyr himself,” Comey said.

Nevertheless, FBI investigators investigated Mateen, who was born in New York, for 10 months. They introduced him to confidential informants, spied on his communications and followed him. They also interviewed him twice.
Informants Posing as Handlers

The significance of this cannot be understated. “Informants” in this context, according to FBI affidavits regarding similar counterterrorism investigations, refers to individuals posing as members of terrorist organizations who approach suspects, coerce them into planning and preparing for terrorist attacks, before finally aiding the FBI in the suspect’s arrest before the attack is finally carried out.

Read this FBI warrant affidavit from a similar terror case in Florida. The FBI goes all out in some of these cases, supplying would-be attackers with weapons, bombs, tactics, training, ideas, plots, and targets. The idea is to intercept them just before they carry out an attack and charge them with something like Attempting to Use a Weapon of Mass Destruction, 18 U.S.C.A. 2332(a), a 40-year to life felony. Sometimes that works. Sometimes things slip. Sometimes 49 people die.

nimbus-image-1466020085464

The Mateen family has a long history of playing along in these state terrorism games. The American people have a history of suffering because of them. The truth is that the games must stop and that we must keep our arms until and after they do.

I’m ready to declare that the Battle of Orlando was and was not a false flag operation. It was not because, as I have explained time and time again, there exists a perpetual-motion machine of a system designed to wreak havoc on the American people so as to benefit the governing class. This attack was in perfect keeping with the system: lies; wars with non-enemies; importation of the now real enemy; crisis; “solution”. No secret squirrels were needed to rig this event; the system allowed it to happen “naturally”.

For the same reasons Orlando was definitely a false flag. Omar, a freelance agent for ISIS, acted as a de facto agent of the Imperial government. The government is now set to reap all of the benefits of a traditional mendacity. The benefits for them are several. Us? We just get death and destruction.

beforeitsnews.com

One of the two popular camps of liars is beating the drum for strength, for retaliation, for law and order – for more war and control. Both camps of scoundrels are making nebulous promises of safety at the expense of liberty – all from problems they created. (Kind of like mafia insurance.) Both camps mean safety through more control. That other camp means to disarm the free people, the victims of the whole affair; they mean to exact total control over the population. Right now I’m writing about the latter group.

Today that group, commonly known as “the left”, went into overdrive in the quest for gun control. Gun control is the wet dream of government. It is the final plank missing from the perfection of Karl Marx’s manifesto in America. It, should it come to pass, would remove the last check against total tyranny. If the Second Amendment and the natural right of self-defense and preservation goes, so goes all other rights, privileges, apple pies, and all else American.

Jeh Johnson, Secretary of the utterly useless Department of Homeland Security, today went off the deep end: “‘We have to face the fact that meaningful gun control has to be a part of homeland security,’ Johnson said in an interview on CBS This Morning. ‘We need to do something to minimize the opportunity for terrorists to get a gun in this country.'” Jeh Johnson: Gun control is now a matter of homeland security, Rebecca Shabad, CBS News, June 14, 2016.

Why are there terrorists in this country in the first place, Mr. Secretary? They couldn’t get guns in this country if they were not here. Why did you lose track of nearly half a million illegal invaders just last year? Why didn’t you do something about the known terrorist Omar Marteen before he acted? Omar was investigated or interviewed two or times since 2013. He was the son of a CIA asset knee-deep in the Empire’s Afghan mess. He was a known conspirator of a radical Islamic sect in Florida. He was a known hot head and nut-job. None of this mattered?

Oh, yes – the plan… The system and the false false flag had to happen to advance the agenda. Hillary Clinton’s State Department had the Mosque investigation shut down for political reasons. Omar’s papa was important for some reason. It all had to go forward to help make gun control (which history shows is only people control) a part of homeland security (which history shows doesn’t exist). Brilliant. Omar, ISIS’s “Lion of the Caliphate“, might just as well be the Lion of Empire.

Johnson and Hussein Obama are pushing S.551 for a start – only for a start. It’s only common sense to prevent known terrorists from obtaining weapons, right? I ask, if they’re known, why do they walk free? And who thinks this will be limited to just terrorists? Government laws and programs grow like cancer – which they are. If this bill becomes law, you and I will become terrorists.

The lunatics over at Rolling Stone, as honest and accurate a publication as could possibly be, took it from the deep end straight down the drain. RS contributor and alleged law professor, David S. Cohen, wrote unequivocally: “The Second Amendment must be repealed.” Cohen rambled through the pitiful and well-worn “out of date” argument:

In the face of yet another mass shooting, now is the time to acknowledge a profound but obvious truth – the Second Amendment is wrong for this country and needs to be jettisoned. We can do that through a Constitutional amendment. It’s been done before (when the Twenty-First Amendment repealed prohibition in the Eighteenth), and it must be done now.

The Second Amendment needs to be repealed because it is outdated, a threat to liberty and a suicide pact. When the Second Amendment was adopted in 1791, there were no weapons remotely like the AR-15 assault rifle and many of the advances of modern weaponry were long from being invented or popularized.

offthegridnews.com

Liberals now resort to that one full-time following the Heller case wherein their “collective rights” bullshit was blown to pieces. Interestingly, when the 2A was a state “right” they had no problem with it; now that it is indisputably a personal right, it has to go. This line of hysteria and misinformation isn’t worth responding to. It is plain what these cretin communists want. They want the free people enslaved. They hate people.

I hate them right back. You should too. I now have three points in my terrorism elimination proposal:

  1. STOP THE WARS/NO MORE INTERVENTIONS;
  2. KICK OUT THE TERRORISTS; and
  3. ELIMINATE (with extreme prejudice) THOSE WHO CAUSED THIS NIGHTMARE AND WHO WOULD CONTINUE OUR MISERY.

Sic semper tyrannis!

America, Battle of Orlando, Congress, Constitution, Democrats, firearms, freedom, government, law, NRA, Second Amendment, Senate, terrorism, The People

The blood hasn’t even been cleaned up from the Battle of Orlando and Senate Democrats are after guns. Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer are once again pushing the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015 (S.551).

Senate Democrats are making a new push for legislation that would bar suspected terrorists from buying guns, a proposal that 53 of 54 Senate Republicans opposed last year.

Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), the Democrats’ chief political strategist, and several colleagues on Monday held a conference call with reporters, one day after the massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., to revive the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015.
“In terms of terrorism, this is the most effective piece of legislation we can pass,” Schumer told reporters.

He added it has a greater chance of passing the GOP-controlled Senate than a ban on assault-style, semi-automatic rifles or high-capacity ammunition clips.

“We want to get something done,” he added.

“In the wake of Orlando, we have to think about what kind of country and what kind of Senate we’re going to be,” Schumer told reporters on the call. “Are we going to bow down to the [National Rifle Association] NRA so that suspected terrorists can get their hands on guns? Or are we going to take the painfully obvious, common-sense step and make sure that suspected terrorists can’t get guns?”

  • The Hill, June 13, 2016.

It’s not the terrorists, it’s the NRA. Same old, same old – blame the victims. There not even concerned about real terrorists, just “suspected terrorists”. The Act is riddled with problems. First, it just won’t work. A complete ban on guns wouldn’t work. European countries have strict gun control and still have mass shootings. In the absence of guns, the terrorists resort to knives and bombs – both of which can be made at home from common materials. Are they going to ban cleaning products and fertilizer next? The Act runs afoul of the Second Amendment. Not that the Constitution is in vogue anymore. The Act also presents Due Process issues.

There is one summary for S.551. Bill summaries are authored by CRS.
Shown Here:
Introduced in Senate (02/24/2015)

Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015

Amends the federal criminal code to authorize the Attorney General to deny the transfer of a firearm or the issuance of a firearms or explosives license or permit (or revoke such license or permit) if the Attorney General: (1) determines that the transferee is known (or appropriately suspected) to be engaged in terrorism or has provided material support or resources for terrorism, and (2) has a reasonable belief that the transferee may use a firearm in connection with terrorism. Allows any individual whose firearms or explosives license application has been denied to bring legal action to challenge the denial.

Extends the prohibition against the sale or distribution of firearms or explosives to include individuals whom the Attorney General has determined to be engaged in terrorist activities. Imposes criminal penalties on individuals engaged in terrorist activities who smuggle or knowingly bring firearms into the United States.

Authorizes the Attorney General to withhold information in firearms and explosives license denial revocation lawsuits and from employers if the Attorney General determines that the disclosure of such information would likely compromise national security.

If someone is a known or suspected terrorist, why is he allowed to walk free? Why is he encouraged to come to America and live well off the doll? Because it’s not about fighting terrorism, just about fighting guns.

William Warren.

Anyone can land on one of the government’s existing arbitrary and secret watch lists. The Act maintains the same level of secrecy and fiat. Note that tremendous discretion is granted to the Attorney General to determine who and who is not eligible to purchase a gun. While legal recourse for victims … individuals … is provided for, it is neutered by a “national security” disclosure prohibition. As Courts routinely allow national security exemptions without question there is effectively no legal recourse for one who finds himself on the list.

The government frequently targets certain groups (see the IRS vs. the Tea Party). It is certain that enforcement of the Act would be rank with abuse. Meanwhile the terrorists would continue to operate unhindered. This is one of the many “solutions” from D.C. which will do nothing except make matters worse. Suggest to your elected rodents they oppose this illegal and counterproductive measure.

The Battle of Orlando

America, Battle of Orlando, Caliphate, crime, Donald Trump, evil, firearms, freedom, government, gun control, ISIS, Islam, jihad, law, murder, terrorism, The People, Washington

Terrorism, mass shooting, a mass murder – the shooting this weekend in Orlando was all of those things. I didn’t comment yesterday because I was on the road (from Florida to Georgia). I had time to reflect on the carnage, to reflect on where America is now, and to listen to the various talking heads. I learned a good deal about this attack though there is plenty more that needs explaining. Much will likely go unexplained.

One thing is certain: in addition to a terrorist attack and a mass murder, the shooting at the Pulse nightclub was a battle in a larger war. I dub it the Battle or Orlando (fought June 11 – 12, 2016). We lost that battle. We have lost almost all of these battles. The only exception I can think of is the failed attack on that cartoon convention in Texas (that one was obviously not well thought out – have two men go up against an army of angry and heavily armed Texans).

I, like any civilized man, am saddened by this terrible loss of life. The demographics of the victims in this case makes no difference to me; jihadis regularly attack any and all people. While I grieve like most I am not the least bit surprised by the event – I predicted it only a week ago.

“ISIS” is probably about as real as “al qaeda” – both likely joint CIA/Israeli/MI-6 projects. Just as Trump stirs up nationalism, patriotism, conservatism, etc., so ISIS stirs up the various and many radicals of the Islamic world. So it is that ISIS can herald June the “month of conquest and jihad” against the West. “…ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani called on jihadists to ‘get prepared, be ready … to make it a month of calamity everywhere for nonbelievers…especially for the fighters and supporters of the caliphate in Europe and America.’” It’s Ramadan but who knew we already had a caliphate?

There will be muslim terror attacks – there always are. But, they have less to do with the fiction of ISIS than with the incredible stupidity and tolerance of apparently suicidal westerners.

The attacks for the caliphate have already started … on June 3rd … in California … at a Donald Trump rally. The merger of fictions.

There will be attacks. There have been attacks. There will be more attacks. By the way, still no word on the arrest of Houdini the jihadi. He’s probably safe back in Minnesota planning his next attack. Battles are attacks in a war.

This problem is complex and long-standing but I have previously explained a way to stop the violence from continuing. It involves two steps: first, stop constantly bombing and otherwise meddling with crazy people abroad, and; second, stop importing these savages into our countries (and get rid of those already here). I’m watching Donald Trump speak right now in New Hampshire about the second part of the equation. He says he will fix that part. I say he will not. Not only that, he will probably make the first part worse.

The “other side” is jumping on the gun control angle. Ask the people of Paris how gun control protected them last fall.

No “solutions” from Washington will help as Washington has created the problems – the war – to begin with. To them, in reality, these are not problems, but opportunities. They see opportunities for more war with great profits for bankers, defense contractors, and bureaucrats. More war means more”refugees” to bring into the welfare state. This will mean more acts of terrorism which will serve to keep the system going in perpetuity (unless we all get killed along the way).

NYPost.

The war is real.

[Shooter Omar] Mateen called emergency services during the shooting and pledged allegiance to the leader of the militant Islamic State group, officials said. Mateen’s father said his son was not radicalized but indicated the gunman had strong anti-gay feelings. His ex-wife described him as mentally unstable and violent toward her.

Islamic State reiterated on Monday a claim of responsibility. “One of the Caliphate’s soldiers in America carried out a security invasion where he was able to enter a crusader gathering at a nightclub for homosexuals in Orlando,” the group said in a broadcast on its Albayan Radio.

The group’s claim of responsibility does not mean it directed the attack, as it offered nothing to indicate coordination with the gunman.

As I said last weekend ISIS doesn’t have to coordinate anything because it doesn’t really exist. But the results of the fiction of ISIS are very real. Despite a lack of structure our enemies do not act alone in a vacuum. The odds are Omar had some sort of support from someone. The number of casualties in Orlando – from a gun attack – suggests there may have been accomplices who slipped away. Or it could just be that Omar was one of the best marksmen in history.

It is amazing that after any such incident, this one no different, the government and the media immediately have a solid picture of what happened and who did it. Fifty people are dead, more than fifty are wounded, and the identities of many are still being uncovered. However, it seems that everything was known instantly about Omar – who he was, where he’s from, how many times the FBI has investigated him, and how many training missions he undertook to Saudi Arabia. We know he previously scouted out Pulse along with Disney World. It’s almost like there was a ready script.

False flags come with scripts. Such attacks are designed to promote a political agenda and give cause for some sought-after political goal (war, spending, police state, etc.).  I’m not sure the Battle of Orlando was a false flag. In fact, I’m not sure the elites even need those types of catalysts anymore; the system seems to be on autopilot at this point. Regardless, this battle, while another bloody loss for the American people, is another win for the power-mongers.

The news for the people gets worse and worse. The FBI recently disclosed a hit list of 8,000 ISIS targets, most of whom are American citizens. The list contains names, addresses, email addresses, and other information. We not only have a Caliphate to deal with but a “United Cyber Caliphate” as well. Presumably the list is available to free agents like Omar to use at their convenience.

How would one go about finding out if one’s name appears on the list? Can the government be trusted to disclose any threats from the list? Can the government provide any protection? Will it? Normally the government’s role is to instigate the violence and then clean up the aftermath in a manner sure to foster future violence. None of this is reassuring.

While waiting on the politicians to tell more lies and for the government to do more of the evil same, normal Americans and other Westerners might be wise to consider taking matters into their own hands. This might include training and carrying firearms. It might mean avoiding popular locations which might invite attacks. However, history shows that any place can be a target. And constant vigilance produces fatigue. A better alternative (or component part) may be to pressure the government to stop the lethal meddling and other insane policies. The state at a minimum should not be supported nor encouraged. Why support an organization that causes so many problems?

Maybe preemptive strikes (or retaliatory at this point?) are in order. If ISIS can be de-centralized yet effective, why can’t we? The sad thing is that the otherwise complicit government would crack down on such actions with a vengeance. They will not allow any interference in their plans.

Maybe there is no solution right now. As bad as things were at Pulse this weekend the saddest part will be the extreme rapidity with which most people will forget the whole affair. Remember the Battle of Orlando – one of long and growing number.

America, DOJ, firearms, freedom, government, green space chickens, gun control, Hillary Clinton, law, Mississippi, Second Amendment, Supreme Court, taxes, The People

Chelsea Clinton recently spoke to a group of communists and hoplophobes in Maryland about how her dear old Mom will use the Supreme Court to bring us a definitive ruling on gun control and some good old “common sense” regulation. Common sense – like what passed for common sense security in Benghazi. It seems like the court Mom should be concentrating on is the criminal court that may try her for those emails (just kidding, she’s in the Club).

Chelsea is much more attractive than her mommy and her voice isn’t nearly as irritating. Still, she marches to a similar drum. Her remarks were based in enough callousness and condescension to make her mother proud. Said the young Clinton: “With that greasy old wop [Justice Scalia] out of the way … mommy and I can take all the guns from those dumb Bible-thumpers and tax slaves…” Her line was cut short by a wild, howling chorus of cackles and mindless, violent-sounding chants; someone screamed “Allah Akbar!” See and hear for yourself.

Elsewhere, other fascists praised the actions of the territorial government of the Northern Mariana Islands and its institution of a $1,000 per item tax on gun sales. The Islands are one of those American territories that are only so that the natives may collect entitlement payments and people like Governor Ralph Torres can have jobs and a non-straw house to live in. I support independence for the Islands! As a free state they could enact whatever laws they choose. Gun control, cannibalism, anything they like. Our problem is that they want their law to be a model for the 50 States and other jurisdictions.

Chelsea’s Mom once supported a similar tax scheme. Maybe that’s the common sense definition she wants. The idea is that even if Herr Hillary’s Court can’t ban guns, the guns can be taxed out of the reach of most “ordinary” people. By the way, I’ve heard these islanders were the inspiration for the various headhunters on Gilligan’s Island.

Another Second Amendment end-around is to make financial transactions impossible for gun dealers and manufacturers. The Department of Justice [SIC] has a lovely program called Operation Choke Point. It is designed to make it rather difficult for risky or criminal enterprises to do banking business through the Federal Reserve’s risky, criminal organized banking business. The DOJ increasingly wants to lump gun makers into the same category with drug dealers, cartels (NOT to include the Fed), the mafia, and certain terrorist groups. They also want to include cigar companies. I’m sure military armament companies will have no problems cashing our tax checks and the State Department and CIA will keep bringing in those Cubans to give as gifts to the MIC reps at the trade shows (seen it myself). The rest of us be damned; Mommy knows best.

As is today, one doesn’t even need a gun to run afoul of the anti-freedom nut cases. A college student in south Alabama got in trouble with the campus rent-a-cop for wearing an empty holster during a political protest. The raincoat clad storm trooper even admitted the student did not violate any laws or rules but still cited him for causing a disturbance and threatened administrative action from the school. In south Alabama! Free people in Chicago and Boston are doomed.

Next door in Georgia we’re still waiting to see if Nathan “Captain Cave-in” Deal will sign or veto the State’s campus carry law. No word yet. No speculation either about the status of empty, as opposed to full, holsters in the Peach State. Peachy, Nathan, just peachy.

Now the good news. Some parts of America still somewhat resemble America regarding gun rights. Mississippi’s Governor just signed into law state-wide permitless carry of firearms. That means you’re free to be free. Mississippi joins a growing number of such unrestricted jurisdictions. These places tend to have lower crime rates than locales infected with that “common sense” nonsense. If you want safety and sanity, it may be time to move to a place where people are free to be free. Leave the rest of the continent to the cacklers and the headhunters. Or, molon labe!

As I predicted this month H.B. 859, Georgia’s “campus carry” legislation, has passed both houses of the General Assembly. Now the bill has hit an unexpected iceberg of Titanic proportion – Governor Nathan Deal. Deal, who once feigned convincing support for the law, says he may veto it unless several modifications are made.

Most recent photo of Gov. Deal

Deal, a snail among slugs. Georgia.Gov.

Deal’s statement of timidity:

March 14, 2016

The governor’s office released the following statement in response to “campus carry” legislation passed by the General Assembly:

“As a lifetime defender and staunch supporter of Second Amendment rights, Gov. Deal has signed every pro-gun bill to reach his desk. However, he believes legitimate points have been made in regards to certain aspects of the ‘campus carry’ bill and he calls on the General Assembly to address these concerns in related legislation before Sine Die. Specifically, these areas of concern include dually enrolled k-12 students who leave school to attend classes at a university or technical college campus, as well as daycare centers on these same campuses. Deal also believes the governing boards of universities and technical colleges should have the discretion to set reasonable rules regarding disciplinary hearings and faculty and administrative offices. Addressing these issues is an important step in ensuring the safety and freedoms of students, faculty and staff in our institutions of higher learning throughout our state.”

        – Press release.

The problem is that Sine Die, crossover day, is rapidly approaching and there may be insufficient time for a re-do in the legislature. A corrective, secondary bill is technically plausible. It is also unnecessary.

Deal, who needs to be fired, is caving to the demands of whimps like UGA President Jere Morehead, who needs to be fired, and GSU President Mark Becker, who needs to be fired, and lunatic mad moms, as well as Georgia’s thriving criminal lobby.

The governor’s first two objections are incomprehensible. High school students and children in daycare would not be allowed to carry under the law. These young people are frequently surrounded by and made safer by adults carrying guns – at home, restaurants, malls, parks, etc. Why deny them the same protection at college campuses? Why trample the already overburdened rights of adults allegedly on the behalf of the youth?

The third concern caters to a power play by the likes of Morehead and Becker, who should both be fired. Giving discretion to college administrators in such matters is akin to giving a loaded gun to a toddler. There will be casualties. As babes have an understandable lack of judgement concerning weapon safety so beaurocrats have a demonstrated inability to grasp due process. Civil liberty is at risk.

The solution is for Deal to do his job (or resign from it) and sign the Bill. You can urge him to do the right thing. Call him, if you will, at (404) 656-1776. Tell him to man up or get out.

A woman in Kentucky is the real life Wonder Woman. I’m not sure if she’s a mom but the title fit well with my headline and with yesterday’s post. She certainly is mighty. This unidentified heroine was shopping at a mall when she encountered a disturbed man. The thug chased her to her automobile and attacked her therein.

Malls are like college campuses and other public places in that people have a desire to frequent them with an expectation of safety. Criminals and their enablers disrupt the expectation. So it was that evening in Kentucky.

Unlike Carol Allen and the mad moms, this particular lady didn’t rant and rave to a Senate committee about specious guarantees of safety in exchange for her freedom. Instead she exercised her freedom and carried her safety with her in her purse.

Once the cretin had her pinned inside her car she produced a pistol and shot him twice. That terminated the attack. The woman went home. The thug, John Ganobick, went to the hospital and then to jail. He later appeared in court sporting a thrachea tube.

This kind of story plays out every day, every hour, in America. Each day some 3,000 good people use firearms to prevent crimes – usually without actually shooting anyone. It happens in malls, schools, homes, everywhere. You normally don’t hear about it in the American press because they have an agenda. They and their government want to disarm the people. The fact that guns save lives doesn’t help them and their cause.

You’ll note this story, from Kentucky, was reported by the British media. Many of the things I cover are chronicled in the European press, especially from England.

The Brits, having largely surrendered their right to self-defense, seem fascinated with Americans exercising our rights. They also seem a bit more objective than their counterparts in the U.S.

There’s a lot of hope in this story. Maybe the woman will inspire others to defend themselves. Maybe John Ganobick will come to Jesus while in prison, thus emerging a better man. Maybe some other thug will think twice before attacking another woman. Maybe the British will regain their stolen liberty. Maybe the mad moms and university whimps of America will go away and leave us free and happy. Just maybe.

Don’t be mad. Be mighty.

Government and guns go together like Stalin and genocide, literally. Anytime a state decides to opt out of its monopoly on force and allow people their freedom, unhindered, it is a good thing. The only losers in such a situation are tyrants, petty dictators, beaurocrats and other criminals, and crazy people.

In Atlanta House Bill 859 is steaming towards becoming Georgia law. It would decriminalize the (permitted) carrying of firearms at state higher educational institutions…once again…that, and so much more USED to be legal and normal in the Peach State and across America (even without a permit).

The legislation passed the House, 113-59, on February 22nd. It now goes to the Senate, having been approved without changes by the Senate Judiciary Committee. The full Senate should ratify it and Georgia’s Governor has indicated he will sign it into law. Come next fall Georgia campuses will be safer places. Everyone is happy. Well, not everyone.

Sniveling editors at various newspapers, still mourning the loss of the Soviet Union, are upset. Communists take liberty with their disdain for liberty. The yellow journalists are not alone.

University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank Huckaby, who needs to be fired, and University of Georgia President Jere Morehead, who needs to be fired, are both against H.B. 859 and against freedom in general.

Huckaby testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee (loser, ha!) His opposition to freedom is “supported by the experience of campus presidents and campus public safety departments, who are closest to the day-to-day reality and operations of the state’s public colleges and universities.” Lies, all of it. If he testified under oath, he should be prosecuted in addition to being fired. People like Huckaby and Morehead are as far from reality as is humanly possible.

Morehead echoed Huckaby’s hammer and sickle opinions in an email to the UGA community. I suggest he head up a University somewhere that has real gun control…somewhere like North Korea.

Milquetoast Morehead. Garrett Leffelman, The Red and Black.

There, sadly, are nuts outside of academia. Consider the case of Carol Allen of the Georgia chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, or “batshits” for short. The mons are mad – insane, rather. Their motto is “It’s time for gun sense in America.” This seems hypocritical as these mad moms know nothing about guns, have no sense, and lack an understanding of America.

Carol may be madder than most. Following her defeat in the Judiciary Committee she brazenly paraded herself before the membership, pointing her finger and threatening those who voted for freedom. I hear she was laughed to the street.

Carol Allen, crazy person. Ajc.com.

We should all laugh a little. Not at the mentally unstable – that isn’t kind. Instead, let us laugh at the minions of tyranny as they lose this and other battles. I’ve written on this subject before. We’re winning. They’re losing. They’re mad. Cuckoo.

Cry Me To The Moon: Obama’s Weak, Insidious Gun Grab

As predicted here President Obama yesterday rolled out his “common sense” gun control edict. Edict it was, without any representative pretense. I saw a teary-eyed man surrounded by myrmidons issue a royal proclamation. Since the earliest days of the Old Republic chief executives have crafted executive orders needed to carry out the laws enacted by Congress. But, then, there was a distinction. Laws were debated and passed by the legislature nominally accountable to the people. Presidents issued orders concerning either compliance with those laws or with the very few duties existing in Article Two of the Constitution.

Today Congress rams through secret spending boondoggles that no one has read and no one outside of Washington and New York needs or wants. Members of the House and Senate live in their own little world far removed from reality. The current crop of pitiful presidents, of whom Barry is merely the latest, fill in the governing gaps with a series of orders which are in effect law. As with the actual legislation from Congress the executive orders are occasionally reviewed by the corrupt, incompetent courts. More often than not the black-robed sorcerers give deference to the political branches by allowing these fascist decrees to stand.

The Constitution slowly rots under glass. The people slowly rot amid their televisions, sports, fast food, and disability applications. Nothing remains of the old America except for old John Wayne movies and the proliferation of private firearms. At any other time in history this latter relic would be of utmost concern to the hellish legions of political scum.

The Second Amendment has been firmly if inexplicably cemented into the legal and political fabric of the nation. And everyone is armed – heavily. Not that it really matters. The most heavily armed people in the world have proven themselves unwilling or incapable of using their vast potential to fight tyranny. Disarmament is the final plank of the Communist manifesto needed to complete the conquest of the United States. However, by dumbing themselves down and by being fervently preoccupied with perpetual nonsense the people have rendered obsolete this otherwise crucial step. It’s as bizarre as any plot from The Twilight Zone.

Bizarre too was Hussein Obama’s Tuesday performance. I’m confident Barry and his clan of leeches and roaches would love to confiscate all private arms. But, again, he doesn’t have to. The people obviously are madly in love with the government and are willing, nay demanding, of any manner of deprivation.

So it was that the Whitehouse debuted some of the weakest gun control every seen. It was introduced in as weak a fashion possible too.

160105122318-obama-crying-gun-executive-action-sot-00004809-large-169

Obama channeled his inner John Boo-Hoo Boenher while a host of unemployable sycophants looked on in vacuous approval. CNN.

All of this was scripted and predictable. A corrupt politician seizes on a non-issue (gun violence). Grown men and women who should otherwise be at work gather in solemn support. The political rodent cries about the deaths of a few children (tragic, yes) but his tears are hypocritical. The same man uses his military to murder other children while signing legislation funding an industry that murders a million more babies each year. The loyal opposition is neither. The comatose people remain unconcerned and uneducated.

And he cried. Tears. A man cried on television while breaking the law. Cried. George Washington never cried that we know of. Putin does not resort to tears. ISIS must have laughed at this pathetic spectacle. The delivery is one reason I say this program is weak. Another is the minimalist, chipping-away nature of the plan.

Some of Obama’s garbage may be dismissed by the courts or over-ridden by Congress. It all should be. It’s all unconstitutional and illegal. However, I imagine some will remain intact and what survives will serve as precedent and a building block for further incremental infringement. This is the insidious side of the fiat decree. What the rats cannot accomplish by a serious ban of guns they will attempt through a series of small reforms.

The Whitehouse claims: “President Obama has a responsibility to do everything in his power to reduce gun violence.” The Constitution gives the President no such power. No mind. This claim is a lie; none of Obama’s proposals will hinder violence – only freedom.

As part of the lie the President uses some numerical smoke and mirrors:

Gun Violence in America: By the Numbers

MORE THAN 4 MILLION
Number of American victims of assaults, robberies, and other crimes involving a gun in the last decade

MORE THAN 30,000
Number of gun deaths in America each year

MORE THAN 20,000
Number of children under 18 killed by firearms over the last decade

MORE THAN 20,000
Number of Americans who commit suicide with a firearm each year

466
Number of law enforcement officers shot and killed by felons over the last decade

3
Number of days after which a gun dealer can sell a gun to an individual if a background check is not yet complete

         Whitehouse lies.

So, based on these one-sided figures, Emperor Obama is taking action! Notice the use of numbers over a decade rather than by the year? Notice the lack of data on lives saved by guns? It’s over a million a year or 10 million each decade. These numbers are equivalent to the number of children killed in abortion clinics or the number of violent jihadis Obama would like to import. Of course presenting all sides of the equation wouldn’t help the agenda. All lies, remember, in order to curtail freedom. Gun control does nothing to stop gun crimes. The government wants more crime so as to justify its continued existence.

If they wanted less crime and less violence they would concentrate on enforcing laws against real crimes (murder, rape, etc.) and not on plants, tax form irregularities and speed limits. They would stop stirring up terrorists only to ship as many as possible to America. They would stop murdering babies. That’s not the plan. The plan is to further burden innocent people.

Here’s how it may work out for us. Currently all gun sales by federally licensed dealers are subject to regulation and background checks. All of this violates the Second Amendment but more on that another day. Private gun sales are subject to nothing. That’s about to change. Obama is intent on unilaterally redefining what or who constitutes a dealer requiring a license and copious red tape. Want to sell or give a gun to your son, friend, or the dude on Craigslist? Just one gun? Congratulations! You are now a gun dealer! Ready your checkbook. The licensing process ain’t cheap.

Obama will also dramatically expand the ranks of those prohibited from owning guns via two steps. First, Obama and his cronies will order doctors to violate federal law (HIPPA) by reporting “mentally ill” patients to the FBI. The definition of mental illness will be left to unelected and unaccountable beaurocrats. Abuse will be rank. The FBI and the ATF will swoop in to seize weapons from those deemed mentally defective.

Certain Social Security recipients will also be stripped of their rights and their guns. The theory is that those deemed incapable of making certain financial decisions should also be deemed too dangerous to own guns. Who does the deeming and under what circumstances remains to be seen. This will address the epidemic of nursing home shootings you’ve heard nothing about.

Current illegal law restricts those convicted of felonies or adjudicated by a court to be psychotic. These restrictions are based on laws passed by the legislature not by one sick, crying man’s order. I say they are illegal because they are. They came about in the 20th Century in violation of the Second Amendment. If someone is so dangerous due to illness, defect, or criminal predilection, then they should be locked away somewhere. If released into free society, they should be free.

As problematic as the current law is at least it was passed through the legal process. It also requires Due Process. A felon must be convicted. The deranged must be legally declared so. It requires a trial or a hearing. It depends on legal representation, confrontation of witnesses, evidence, and an appeals process. Law and order stuff. The coming program will be based on whim.

Some pencil pusher will decide who is unfit to bear arms based on whatever factors the pusher sees as appropriate. Stormtroopers will be dispatched to forcibly disarm the victims or kill them if they “resist.” Should a victim survive it will be incumbent upon him to appeal the beaurocrat’s decision. He will bear all the costs and burdens of proof in this uphill battle. He, presumed innocent until proven guilty, will have to prove his innocence to a degenerate system.

This will all start small and slow. Tyranny usually does so begin. Some provisions may fall in court. However, if these reforms are tolerated, more and more will follow. Beaurocratic expansion is a constant.

Will this be tolerated? The NRA and the State of Texas have already murmured against the plan. Yet, I suspect the majority of our citizens will do nothing because they know nothing. Legal reality interferes with the fun of reality television and other trappings of modern stupidity.

The government and political establishment are counting on you to be complacent. The control freaks on the left will expect your appreciation for being shielded from nothing. The charlatans on the right will expect your votes so they can “fix” things. If placated, both will get what they want and collectively do nothing except more of the same.

A brave few will resist. A few more will cheer what they wrongly perceive as protection from the violent. Most will remain blissfully ignorant. Where do you fall?
