Hello and happy interim between Western and Orthodox Christmases. Today, my dear readers, you almost suffered another education column. It will happen sooner or later, and it will possibly revolve around a premonition I had whilst reading through Teaching the Trivium by Harvey and Laurie (RIP) Bluedorn. In due time, I will review their tour de force. But don’t wait for me. Go ahead and get a copy now – especially if you have younger children! I’ll also get to the premonition, which may be of interest if you homeschool (and you should). Those items, however, can wait.
Instead, today we will celebrate all that was the glorious year of Anno Domini Twenty Twenty-two. What a great time we all had! There was world peace at last. In the exceptional United States of America, we added a positive net sum of perhaps one million new Caucasian citizens. We also had another honest, productive election, which was bolstered by the strongest wage and buying-power gains of any industrial capitalist economy in history. All this happened even as violent crime practically disappeared – along with the very last illegal invader. Even though not a soul died of “suddenly,” the honorable Dr. Anthony Fauci apologized for everything. And, of course, I’m joking. Just literally reverse everything you just read and you have a pretty accurate summary of the past twelve months.
Around the Old Blog and the greater Perrinverse, it’s been a mostly placid and productive time. My most popular column of the year (as of my checking on December 26th) was:
Ukrainian Vodka With A Side Of Freedom Fries (March 2nd).
There was a two-way tie for third place:
Gal Gadot: Good, True, and Beautiful (May 18, 2021) (This was the No. 1 post of 2021, which is interesting. Go, GG!); and,
J.R.R. Tolkien and the Russian Special Military Operation in Ukraine (March 30th).
Thank you, devoted readers.
In other great news, Doctor Ironsides is preparing to hit the bookshelves again very soon. Here’s hoping to have the revitalized THE SUBSTITUTE out in January, followed sometime next year by AURELIUS. Then, there will be much more. MUCH more. You’ll enjoy it. Ready the credit cards.
The Freedom Prepper media empire, the Prepper Post News and Freedom Roasters Coffee included, succumbed to the stellar financialized economy, at least temporarily. As such, I have been reduced to another kind of day work foraging for twigs. Next year, please buy as many books as you can afford. It is a-okay to take out loans for the endeavor! *wink, wink, nod, nod*
I’ve also found a new home among my great fellow Southerners at Reckonin’! Oddly enough, I just had a story syndicated at the reorganized, re-energized, and mo’ bettah’d TPC! Up, and up, and up! I also re-entered the socialz via my forever dormant account at Social Galactic (if you know, great; if not, ditto). Lastly, in truly personal news, my beard is back to fully black, and my bench has once again soared back above 400. *cough, cough*
For the great majority of the world, while problems did abound, a great hope arose this year! To properly, briefly represent the good news, I will do so by celebrating…
2022’s MAN OF THE YEAR!
This year’s undisputed Man of the Year is the Honorable President of the Russian Federation, His Excellency Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. He’s had tremendous help from our honorable mentions, but the man gets the lion’s share of the credit. Big, bad Vlad has broken the luciferian new world disorder hegemony of the Anglo-Zionist axis of darkness. The break between the sovereign nations and clown world, while not yet complete, appears irreversible. This includes all matters, military, political, commercial, monetary, intellectual, cultural, and religious.
Having spent most of the century preparing, he has instituted the strongest possible defense of his people. He has freed or is freeing the ethnic Russians in Novorossiya. He will end up freeing the Ukrainians. He may very well end up freeing the rest of Europe, possibly including the beleaguered English. There is even modest hope that, in time, Russia’s advances may even trigger a deglobalization and desatanization in places like the former USA, and the (O)CSA. There’s always hope.
While exposing concrete evidence of the empire’s bioweapon programs and war crimes, Vlad simultaneously took much of the world’s focus off of the fake pandemic and associated general hysteria. Last but not least, he has, in only ten months, proved the NWO MSM to be base liars about 900,000 times. No small feat, that.
Honorable Mentions to President Xi Jinping of China, Hon. Dmitry Medvedev, Hon. Sergey Lavrov, Hon. Ramzan Kadyrov, Mrs. Maria Zakharova (rhymes with “HOT”), Gen. Sergei Shoigu, Gen. Sergei Surovikin, Hon. Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, and some other good men and women.
I could go on, but I will stop here. I’ll be back next week in a brand new, interesting new year. Happy New Year, everyone.
2022 has been brought to you by the letter Z.

Today, the Old Blog turns Ten!
If you remember this post, then you’ve been around a while and have a good memory:
After the 5,000th post, last month, things have necessarily slowed a bit. The readership had already slowed rather dramatically following my departure from useless social media and the late disruptions in the search engine metrics.
To all of you who have been a part of the show, thank you. Now, we move onward. What’s ahead? Probably not more of the same. There’s still the idea of a column “only” site at a new home. And, I may integrate that concept into a new author landing site. Or something. At any rate, the old blog will hang on as an archive of sorts. There’s plenty here. And, if need be, the archive is mobile. Note: perrinlovett[dot]me is paid through the end of this year. In the event of laziness on my part – circa 2014 – then perrinlovett[dot]wordpress[dot]com will always work.
My take on various matters has changed somewhat; I started writing here at the end of my libertarian phase, progressing into the hard-right Christian and the omni-nationalist. Aside from a technical correction or two, I’ve largely left things as they originally appeared.
There will be, going forward, a much greater concentration on books, especially novels. As-is, I have 3 free ebooks offered under “Books.” So far, they’ve been downloaded a combined total of over 3,150 times. WP didn’t track downloads before 2019, so it is most likely that Perrin On Politics (2015) “sold” an extra 500-1000 free copies, thus bringing the tally to or over 4,000 free book “sales.” These are not “best-selling” figures. However, all three have outperformed the woeful average distribution for all books published in general. Sold Out, my entry in the absurd shortest novel imaginable category, has done so by a factor of about ten. These numbers are on par with my other paid sales. I’m a mediocre-selling author! You’ve doubtlessly received your money’s worth. And, if I had a nickel for every free book given away, I could buy a nice cigar!
Anyway, I recall Vox Day’s final column at WND: 11 Years of Failure. 10, like 11, is a long time. I won’t call if “failure” even as I haven’t really changed much of anything with the past 3 million words or so. Rather, it’s 10 year of entertaining memories.
Thanks, again, for sharing in them. More to come.

It’s a slow day in a slow week coming off of one of the slowest weeks in recent memory, here at the old blog. This month is shaping up (down) to be one of the lowest-traffic affairs in years. A slow year, under various shadow bans, in an age of declining literacy. Yet and still, tomorrow I’ll have another gem of a column for those bold, loyal readers who happen by. Stay tuned.
We’re also on an imminent approach to POST 5,000!!! And the Ten Year Anniversary. And, accordingly, some likely changes. Stay tuned.

Happy Holy Easter Weekend, all!
I’ve been thinking. The old blog’s 10-year anniversary is right around the corner and, even closer, I’m about to hit post number 5,000. Everything so far, here and at the PPN podcast/show, has been free to listeners and readers. That is and has been, in many ways, problematic.
What I’m thinking about is writing more fiction with the aim of someday doing that exclusively. In the interim, the idea is floating in my head to do a combined daily podcast, similar to PPN but all on my own, WITH(!) the weekly column. This combo could either be hosted here or at a new platform. Here’s the great part! All of this would be for paid subscribers ONLY! It wouldn’t be (won’t be) overly expensive, but it wouldn’t be “cheap” either. It damn sure wouldn’t/won’t be free – the cult of free needs breaking, friends.
I’ll keep tinkering and keep you posted. If it happens, you’ll read/hear it when you pay for it.

Well now. It’s been almost ten years and almost 5,000 posts here at the old blog! I anticipate hitting the latter number just around the time of the former anniversary. I’ve also scheduled our first (overdue) stupid question day!!! Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 8, 2089. It’ll be on my old EwwTube channel, live, around 33:00. Don’t be there!
A new PPN, with more old boring stories and new war coverage, will be along in the morning. Next week’s column has yet to write itself. Etc.

Wow. 2022. It was just 1982 forty years ago. Who could have imagined? I wonder what wonders this year shall bring?
Anyway, happy day. This is the first post in the 11th posting year here. And it’s the first of the year that should see the 10th-anniversary celebration and the 5,000th post.
Thanks for joining or continuing on the ride. Stay tuned.

It’s time once again to renew the old domain name. I hesitate this year, owing to the dramatic decline in visits and to my plans for next year. I’ll do it and keep posting. The blog’s tenth anniversary is on the horizon. That should roughly coincide with post number 5,000. After that … the future. (Note: 5,000 posts is a lot and 10 years is a long time).

I tidied up the left sidebar a little this morning. (Thank you, WP, for be-blocking the Widget experience…).
I also have a new policy on linking to this site. Of course, “hot” links are welcome as for simple quotes. I use those myself and frequently. All I ask is for some kind of hypertext link back to my original. Easy. Occasional full-text republication is also welcomed and does not require advance notice or permission. Again, just include a link back here and maybe my name as an attribute. Simple, easy, etc. However, if this practice becomes frequent (as defined by me), essentially amounting to syndication, then payment will be required.
As for outside requests for new paid content creation by me for any entity not my own or of the Freedom Prepper family, I have new starter rates. If I do not object to the subject matter, the beginning rate is $30 per word with a minimum of 1,000 words. Half will be required upfront – unless the requesting party has a history of “issues,” in which case 100% will be required before anything commences. This covers first drafting and is roughly in accordance with WGA-W A++ large production pricing. Exceptions might exist.
Reader content, now headed towards year ten(!), remains a free service.
Thank you and you’re welcome. P
