The Death of American Television News

America, CNN, culture, Elmo, Fox News, lies, news, television

I’m getting around to that survey of American distrust of institutions, to include the televised news. That particular industry is utterly dead and gone. Someone should bury or burn it before the flies start breeding.

They have three kinds of stories now: laughable lies; outrageous lies; and acid-trip crazy lies. It’s all fake news.

The other night I watched Fox for a minute. They were lying about Syria. Something about bombing (based on a lie, built on other lies). At least the legs network still trots out real human beings to support the fantasies – John Bolton, Newt, Nikki Haley, etc. Things are even worse at CNN.

Meet CNN’s new expert on global “refugee” resettlement:

Henson rolls in the soil. Children’s Failed Workshop…

ELMO.

F*cking Elmo… Elmo, the retarded, red menace, cartoon puppet from a well-past-prime children’s show, is now a guest contributor to CNN’s “news.”

Not kidding:

Fake News Network / YouTube.

Someone should have stepped on Elmo when Robert D. Raiford suggested the same in 1998. It’s time to do it do it with the “traditional” news. In little more than a generation we’ve gone from Walter Cronkite to Mr. Noodle’s deranged little neighbor.

It’s a wonder there’s any trust left at all. Turn off the TeeVee and smash it with a hammer.

Wanted murderer and fugitive, Ricky Dubose, is much more special than wanted murderer and fugitive, Donnie Rowe. Just look at his special, unique, meaningful tattoos:

Ricky on the bottom (perhaps as it was in their cell…). WSB, Atlanta.

Fink sinks the ink.

The two … cellmates are on the run after killing two Georgia prison guards.

Is it that only murderous, low-life, escaped, prison thugs have neck and face tattoos or, could it be that the neck and face tattoos make one a murderous, low-life, prison thug?

I’m sure there’s a deep and spiritual meaning and purpose behind the tats. Isn’t there always?

By the way, if you see these two and have a gun handy, the FBI is offering $130K (dead or alive). Just saying.

Liberals Surprised to Find Immigration has Consequences

They of course do not admit as much.

My marvelous smartphone occasionally sends me “news” updates as picked by Verizon. From the character of these I take it Verizon is a “converged” outfit, in the SJW sense. I usually delete this material on sight. However, I did read the following article:

Why Americans Are So Damn Unhealthy, In 4 Shocking Charts

I write about Americans all the time. I write about health too. This one was interesting to me.

Since the early 1970s, most developed countries have followed a similar trajectory: They have increased spending on health care and seen some impressive gains in life expectancy.

But one nation stands out for profligate spending and poor outcomes: The US has spent more than any other nation on health care, while its citizens still die fairly young. Among 23 nations who have been members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) since the early 1970s, only Turkey — which spends a tiny fraction of what Americans lavish on health care — lags behind the US on life expectancy. Japan leads the OECD with a life expectancy of 83.7 in 2014, almost four years longer than the US.

While some OECD countries, including the UK, have single-payer, government-run health care, this isn’t what separates the US from the rest of the pack. Switzerland, for instance, delivers almost universal coverage in a system that relies on competing private insurance companies.

Judged on life expectancy and other health outcomes, parts of the US look like the developing world.

There’s a reason for that last bit – which is true. Actually there is a lot of truth in this article. For as much as we spend on healthcare and related items, most Americans are horribly unhealthy. The author’s solution is, of course, to spend more. As everything good flows directly from the beneficial bounty of big government, it only follows that only government can make people feel better and live longer…

Or it could be that most of that spending is wasted. Profits for the industry, the insurance racket, and autocrats sore as health fails. Or it could be that Americans perpetually sit on the couch, eating garbage and watching the brain-killing, diabetes-inducing idiot box. Could be.

The trend could also be explained by the massive demographic shifts which have plagued America since Emanuel Celler’s 1965 law began the fundamental transformation of America – for the worse.

Parts of the U.S. look like the third world judging by more than just life expectancy. Much of the country, now, IS the third world.

Look at the graphs from the article, especially the following. It tracks life expectancy verses healthcare spending from 1973 to 2014.

anigif_sub-buzz-31244-1495213340-4

Some improvements, yes, but pitiful compared to other nations. Why? How? 1973 was about the time that the 1965 Immigration Act started taking effect, started taking America away from the circle of civilized, developed nations. Compare the foregoing chart with this graph:

1965 act impact

New York Immigration Coalition.

The effects are clear as a bell. Hart, Celler, and Kennedy lied through their fangs when they claimed there would be no net change in the national demographic composition – there’s been nothing but change. Change has consequences. And it keeps changing. The following shows the rough racial makeup of America from 1790 to a projected 2070 (not that far away):

PERCENTsml

American Renaissance.

And the changes brought changes. All of those other comparison developed nations have something in common: homogenous populations, or more homogenous populations than America’s. Turkey is virtually 100% Turkish. Switzerland, despite ruthless efforts to diversify it, is virtually 100% Swiss. Japan is stubbornly, xenophobically near 100% Japanese.

It turns out that importing the various residents of the lower world has more consequences than tasty ethnic foods, collapsing academic testing results, 9/11, and Islamic bomb factories in Minneapolis. It also means imported foreign health issues and genetic disposition. This stuff is real, like it or not.

Arriving in the remains of the U.S., the newcomers from Africa, Asia, South America, and the Middle East must certainly experience some benefits. Their overall health scores increase relative to their counterparts back home. The native whites (and blacks) also see slow increases for the better. Yet, all succumb to one degree or another to the effects of the new sedentary lifestyle, the slow death of fast food, etc. And the imports have a cumulative effect on the whole.

The graphs don’t explain everything though they do raise some questions … or answers. Why are Americans so damned unhealthy? Maybe it’s because they’re ceasing to be Americans.

Charles Krauthammer recently said on Fox News that, given the GOP-DNC-Comey-Russia-Trump-media mania and mass misinformation campaign, that the American people increasingly have nowhere to turn for accurate information. Considering that the mass media is mostly owned for four or five large companies, all beholden to special interests and incestuously tied to the crazed government in D.C., it makes perfect sense. Of course, I’m not sure most people want accurate information. Air conditioning, cable, and beer – yes. Info – maybe not.

These trends are doing to the media and reporting what a lack of income has done to retail – killing it, slowly but surely.

Consequently, a new study shows the number of reporters on the streets, digging up facts, is collapsing. A snapshot of the largest media markets over the past ten years or so:

nimbus-image-1494684464618

BLS / Apartment List.

Odds are your city has 100 reporters or less. A few places are growing – D.C. especially – but the overall trend is down, precipitously.

At the rate things are going, I calculate that by 2027 we will be down to just 11 reporters nationwide. Two of those will be Russian hackers, the rest robots.

Enjoy the AC and TV.

When I published my first book I decided to shoot a promo video on YouTube. That turned into a haphazard experiment in videography. Here, I strive for consistency, if incoherent. I’m in the 42nd week in a row of at least one post per day. That pays off, kind of.

Over at YouTube, the story is different. I haven’t made a video in months. The quality is substandard. I ramble. Blah, blah, blah.

Yet, and still, I just found out that my bumbling attempts to entertain on-screen have garnered over 1,000 views since I started in the Fall of 2015. For such low effort that’s a lot. Many thanks to my dedicated four or five subscribers. Will do better in the future. Promise. Fingers not crossed…

Here, things are great but still looking to go to the next level (whatever that is).

I have over 50 drafts sitting around in need to completion. Will do better. Fingers … yeah. On the published side, I’m nearing 1,200 posts. So, overall, my resume could be updated to reflect thousands of published articles, blurbs, books, etc. How many? No idea. North of 2,000, so …. thousands.

This was another one though not very thought-provoking. Hmmm.

Judge Not, Napolitano Out at Fox

Freedom and truth have few champions the caliber of Andrew Napolitano. That Fox has, for the time being, canned the Judge tells you something about that network.

Fox News Channel has pulled legal analyst Andrew Napolitano from the air after disavowing his on-air claim that British intelligence officials had helped former President Barack Obama spy on Donald Trump.

A person with knowledge of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity because it was a personnel matter said Napolitano has been benched and won’t be appearing on the air in the near future. Fox had no immediate comment Monday.

Napolitano’s report last week on “Fox & Friends,” saying he had three intelligence sources who said Obama went “outside the chain of command” to watch Trump, provoked an international incident. Britain dismissed the report as “nonsense” after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer quoted it in a briefing, part of the administration’s continued defense of Trump’s unproven contention that Obama had wiretapped him at Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Napolitano is beyond popular. He will be back – either on Fox or some other, newer, better venue. When he is proven correct – and there’s no doubt about underlying surveillance anyway – Fox may have some egg on their legs.

Well. It’s more of an unpaid internship really. Style the title as you will; the unpaid part is certain. But I’m going to need someone in D.C. possibly as soon as next week.

Talk radio hosts and bloggers could be invited to official White House press briefings once the Trump administration takes office, under a highly irregular proposal being floated that may also remove briefings from the West Wing.

Trump’s pick for White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, said on Sunday that due to “off the chart” interest in the new administration, the president-elect was considering moving briefings from the James S Brady press briefing room, which has been used by presidents to address the media since 1970, to a venue with a greater capacity.

A report published by Esquire magazine on Saturday indicated the venue could be inside the Old Executive Office Building, just west of the White House.

“I know change is difficult sometimes,” Spicer told Fox News. “But sometimes change can actually be better.”

Spicer argued the proposal would mean “you can involve more people, be more transparent, have more accessibility”. He suggested that this would mean outlets that are not traditionally part of the White House press corps would be able to ask questions during presidential press briefings.

There’s a lot of talk radio and bloggers and people that can’t fit in right now and maybe don’t have a permanency because they’re not part of the Washington elite media,” Spicer said, “but to allow them an opportunity to ask the press secretary or the president a question is a positive thing. It’s more democratic.”

Could be calling on you. Justin lane / EPA.

Yes, more democratic. More bloggers. Carlos Slim has his blog’s reps there. Why can’t I have mine? More then, here, for you, from there.

I may have to make the first few trips myself. GoFundMe page for that coming soon…

If you’re serious about this unique employment opportunity, then I’m serious about the unpaid thing. Otherwise my H.R. protocols are much like Fox News – legs and all that. Apply in the comments section below. Only independently wealthy, free/anarchist-thinking, cigar-loving, gun-toting, hot, single women between the ages of 19 and 27 will be considered. Looks and attitude count more than degree or professional pedigree. I discriminate … but do not pay… No money…

The cat is out of the bag. And our cover is blown. All media outlets not an explicit part of the DNC or the globalist bankster cabal are Russian agents working to subvert the USSA. All was revealed by the Washington Post last week. I was terribly depressed to find my name and site left off this list of saboteur sites:

20161125_prop2

Lew Rockwell (Russian / fake) / Wa-Po (real news) / V. Putin.

Some of us are still in active denial. The Intercept alludes to WaPo’s dubious sources for the list. Ron Paul is indignant:

The Washington Post has a history of misrepresenting Ron Paul’s views. Last year the supposed newspaper of record ran a feature article by David A. Fahrenthold in which Fahrenthold grossly mischaracterized Paul as an advocate for calamity, oppression, and poverty — the opposite of the goals Paul routinely expresses and, indeed, expressed clearly in a speech at the event upon which Fahrenthold’s article purported to report. Such fraudulent attacks on the prominent advocate for liberty and a noninterventionist foreign policy fall in line with the newspaper’s agenda. As Future of Freedom Foundation President Jacob G. Hornberger put it in a February editorial, the Post’s agenda is guided by “the interventionist mindset that undergirds the mainstream media.”

Give it up, men. They’re on to us. Nothing to do but come clean and/or flee to Mother Russia. Paul Craig Roberts reported the calamity to our boss, President Putin:

Vladimir Putin
President of Russia
Moscow
28 November 2016
..
Dear President Putin,

Now that CIA pal Craig Timberg posing as a Washington Post reporter has blown my cover and exposed me as a Russian agent, I was wondering if I might ask you for a Russian passport and a bit of diplomatic cover, perhaps assistant press officer at the Russian embassy in Washington, until I can get out of the country. I saw that you gave a passport to Steven Seagal, so I am hopeful that being a Russian agent is as important as teaching martial arts to Russians.

Instant Access to Current Spot Prices & Interactive Charts

I don’t know what the pay scale for Russian agents is, but whatever I have coming to me please deposit in a Russian bank. The Swiss banks are no longer useful as the Swiss government allowed Washington to write its banking laws. Perhaps also you could line me up with a publisher for my memoirs—“My Life As A Putin Stooge.”

We need to get on with this ASAP as the Washington Post has the FBI on my tail. They will be very angry at me for deceiving them all those years when I held top secret and higher security clearances while I was a Russian agent. …

I never wrote my letter to Putin. I’ll have to let Craig’s stand in for mine.

From now on, please only rely on the WaPo, the NYT (they’ll be honest soon, honest), CNN, MSNBC, NBC, and PBS/NPR. The rest of us will soon be driving supply trucks in Siberia.
