The Gist of ISIS List the FBI Missed

ISIS, as part of the June jihad, published (somewhere) a list of some 8,000 ordinary people – mostly Americans – the terror non-group wants dead. As the Wall Street Journal and Snopes pointed out, the list appears to be a random collection of names easily obtained on-line. The disturbing thing is that along with the names ISIS included addresses and other contact information. Actually, being on such a list, even if it is random, is a pretty disturbing thought.

vectorpaint - Edited

Also disturbing is the apparent failure of the FBI to notify many Americans of their inclusion on the list. According to a Circa news story, many people didn’t know they were potential targets until the Circa reporter informed them.

The current list brings the number of Americans, by name, ISIS would like to see murdered to around 15,000. ISIS is not a state; it’s barely a group. But it has a wide reach via the large network of lone wolf terrorists and terror cells conveniently located throughout the West. The name Omar Mateen comes to mind.

The odds of being a terror victim are relatively low but the threat exists. In the past few years we’ve seen attacks at nightclubs, theaters, races, offices, political events, restaraunts, newspaper offices, and many other locations. Regardless of the odds, it would be nice to think law enforcement would notify people specifically called out (even if randomly). They don’t hesitate to notify people who they claim owe taxes. The government’s priorities may be out of whack. Are yours?

Wands and Guns: Fallout From BREXIT

Fifty-two percent of the British people favored leaving the EU on Thursday. That leaves forty-eight percent on the losing end – and more than a few are vocalizing their dismay.

One of the “remain” losers left furious by the will of the people is J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter fame. Mrs. Rowling has earned over $1 Billion dollars from her popular series about adolescent wizards. I’ve never read any of the books though my daughter is a big fan, she attended a pre-release party last night for the next Potter tome. I generally don’t like or read fantasy beyond Tolkien though I am considering A Throne of Bones by Vox Day. Anywho…

Rowling lashed out at voters with the worst she could muster – calling them “a bunch of mini-Trumps”. I fail to see how a sovereign and independent England will affect her book sales. She is likely more concerned about her portfolio at present – British billionaires lost a combined $5 Billion on Friday. They bet big but wrong.

Some have seen the young wizard Potter as an opponent of gun control or, at least, wand control, due to a self-defense incident he encountered in one of the books. “Rowling thus appears to embrace the most extreme argument for an individual right to possess weapons- that those weapons may be required in defense against one’s own government.” Again, I have not read any of the books and know nothing about Rowling’s personal stance on such issues. If the above quote is accurate, then it is a wonderful thing, BREXIT views aside.

BREXIT has unleashed other pro-gun sentiments within the UK. Nigel Farage, naturally, is one:

Nigel Farage has called for firearm laws to be relaxed, calling the current ban on handguns “ludicrous”.

The Ukip leader criticised the “kneejerk” restrictions on handguns imposed after the 1996 Dunblane massacre in which Thomas Hamilton killed 16 schoolchildren and a teacher before shooting himself.

The laws were brought in by Sir John Major, the then Tory prime minister, and extended to a total ban by Tony Blair’s Labour government in 1997.

Asked about gun controls, Farage said: “I think proper gun licensing is something we’ve done in this country responsibly and well for a long time, and I think the kneejerk legislation that Blair brought in that meant that the British Olympic pistol team have to go to France to even practise was just crackers.

“If you criminalise handguns then only the criminals carry the guns. It’s really interesting that since Blair brought that piece of law in, gun crime doubled in the next five years in this country.”

If BREXIT does nothing more than weaken gun control, it is worth the effort. Farage is dead on with his assessment of crime rising in the absence of firearms – a universally documented experience. Britain and other EU countries have the kind of gun laws American liberals salivate over. Those countries also import a high number of non-Western types who, as a group, have a higher penchant for criminal activity than the natives. This is not a good combination. It echoes the thoughts of Scott Adams on Why Gun Control Can’t Work:

On average, Democrats (that’s my team*) use guns for shooting the innocent. We call that crime.

On average, Republicans use guns for sporting purposes and self-defense.

…

So it seems to me that gun control can’t be solved because Democrats are using guns to kill each other – and want it to stop – whereas Republicans are using guns to defend against Democrats. Psychologically, those are different risk profiles. And you can’t reconcile those interests, except on the margins. For example, both sides might agree that rocket launchers are a step too far. But Democrats are unlikely to talk Republicans out of gun ownership because it comes off as “Put down your gun so I can shoot you.”

Still, gun grabbers in America are hard at work to disarm the would-be victims of crime, personal or governmental. Hawaii is now the first state to place it’s registered gun owners into an FBI database for the monitoring of criminal activity – the first step towards confiscation. That’s the only reason for such a program. The kind of people who would register and submit to such a system are the types Farage and Adams describe – those who would defend themselves against criminals. Criminals don’t care and won’t comply – something about being a criminal.

Currently the FBI program “Rap Back”is only used to monitor people under criminal investigation, like Hillary Clinton, or those in sensitive positions of trust, like Hillary Clinton. Now, the innocent people in Hawaii who are not criminal suspects will be treated like they are. The grabbers would love to expand this program nationwide.

I say Hawaii should use BREXIT as a model and rap themselves back to being an independent island kingdom. Then, they could have all the gun control they can handle. They’ll experience an increase in violent crime but that’s their business. Leave the rest of us alone.

After jerking the people around with BS about not wanting to inflame hatred or inspire copycats (or whatever) the Department of Justice [SIC] and the FBI released the FULL, UNREDACTED transcript of Omar Mateen’s 911 call. Here’s the whole thing:

nimbus-image-1466508241864

  • Department of Justice [SIC]

That’s it. All of it. Thirteen lines and only six of them are Omar’s. There are more recorded conversations between Omar and the police – almost half an hour’s worth. Those transcripts and the recordings themselves are being held back. They will be ultimately released but, given the insane way this 30-second call was danced around, who knows if we will ever get an accurate and complete picture of the whole series? I have suspicions.

A little is known about the other calls between Omar and negotiators. Omar told them, told us, why he committed his hideous crime: because the U.S. is bombing his [Muslim] countries. I’m surprised they let that out. Wouldn’t have been better to blame the crimes on the easy availability of guns? Or on hating our freedoms? Or hating gays? Or income inequality? Something to better suit the narrative?

I, personally, wonder if Omar mentioned any government contacts in those recordings. Those mentions, if they happened, will certainly not be released – not for a long time, if ever. Time will tell. When the truth counts, the government doesn’t.

Facts Vs. Panic: More Guns, Less Crime

America, Battle of Orlando, CDC, crime, FBI, freedom, government, gun control, guns, John Lott, law, Mexico, murder, safety, terrorism, The People

I’ve dedicated (sadly) most of my blogging week to the aftermath of the Battle of Orlando. Every time there is a mass shooting, terrorist or false flag, or not) the knives come out for our guns. By “our” I mean “us” – the good guys and gals, the law-abiding, decent, civilized people.

Here’s how the hysterical “thinking” about gun control goes:

Columbine, Virginia Tech, Fort Hood, Binghampton, Newtown, Pulse/Orlando – mass murder, mass murder, mass murder! The news reports usually start the same way: “IT has happened again!” For a good week after each mass shooting, until the fluff takes back over, all the talking heads can babble about is how dangerous America has become and how much of a gun problem we have. They especially concentrate on the “scary” looking guns like the 50+ year-old AR platform.

There is some truth in this mania. Guns are tools for killing (though they don’t act on their own – they are not inherently dangerous, in lawyer speak). There are more guns around than ever and Americans have for guns than anyone else in the history of the world. And, innocent people do die in large numbers in mass shootings – thus the “mass” label. Given all of this truth, why wouldn’t we benefit from more gun control?

Because, in spite of the shootings and the vast number of firearms out there, America is safer than ever. Actually, it’s not in spite of, but because of the guns we are safer.

If one puts aside the panicked view of the gun-grabbers and looks at the real, hard facts – the numbers – one sees a correlation between increased firearms ownership and lower crime rates. According to the government’s own figures, the U.S. homicide rate is the lower in over half a century. We are safer now than we have been since 1963. Here’s the chart:

ZeroHedge/FBI

The dramatic drop has come since around 1990. What’s doubly amazing and overlooked entirely by the grabbers is that since 1963 the U.S. population has essentially doubled as has the number of firearms in private hands. By there crazed “logic” you should be in a shooting right now. But you’re not. You are as safe right now, with all these guns, than you have been in modern history.

According to the CDC homicide doesn’t even rank in the top ten causes of death – it’s not even close. The leading causes are:

– Heart disease: 614,348
• Cancer: 591,699
• Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 147,101
• Accidents (unintentional injuries): 136,053
• Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 133,103
• Alzheimer’s disease: 93,541
• Diabetes: 76,488
• Influenza and pneumonia: 55,227
• Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 48,146
• Intentional self-harm (suicide): 42,773

CDC

Most of those leading causes are attributable to Americans’ horrible state of physical fitness. Even diabetes, cancer, the flu, and types of nephrosis can be eased through healthier lifestyles. Yes, Influenza means the flu – despite all those flu shots people get at the local drugstore. Eating less and exercising more will do more than any shot to boost the immune system and combat most pathogen-based ailments. Accidents and suicides (especially suicides) need attention. Paying attention will help prevent accidents. Caring more about each other will cut down on the suicides. But, all that, like healthy eating, requires personal action. That sounds like responsibility and work – neither of which are all that popular today. It’s so much easier to demand the government do something. Government needs to ban guns, for instance.

But we haven’t gotten to guns yet. Yes, guns factor into some of the accidents and suicides but, for mass shooting purposes, we’re talking about homicides here. Where do homicides fall in the rankings? One has to dig pretty deep.

Homicides don’t even make the top 15. They account for fewer deaths than medical malpractice or automobile deaths. You never hear a clamor to ban doctors or cars though. At its broadest measure, for the last year numbers were available – 2014 – there were about 16,000 homicides in America. Narrowly construing the numbers to account only for murder, the number drops even lower – 11,961. It drops into the range of Mexico’s 10,000-12,000 annual murders. Guns, all types, were used in 8,124 U.S. murders in 2014. The U.S. has about twice as many people as Mexico, giving Mexico a rate of murder twice that of the U.S.

Here’s a direct pictorial comparison of homicides in the U.S./Mexican border counties:

Center for Global Development.

Yes, the Mexican side is more dangerous. And, Mexico has the same “common sense” gun bans the left says will make America safer!

Criminals, by definition, do not obey laws. They don’t obey guns laws (or laws against murder) in Mexico and they don’t obey the same laws in places like Orlando. More laws just means more opportunity for criminals to act criminal.

Most of the mass shootings in the U.S. and elsewhere happen in “gun-free” zones. The Pulse nightclub in Orlando was gun free per Florida’s prohibition on firearms in places that serve alcohol. The patrons obeyed, the shooter did not. Columbine, Virginia, and Newtown were school shootings – in gun-free schools. Even the Fort Hood shooting happened this way. Despite being a military installation Fort Hood is a no-go zone for carrying most guns – even by soldiers, excepting MPs. The terrorist shooter did not observe the law.

We are safer today because most places are not gun-free. More people carrying more guns means more shoots fired back at criminals. Criminals do not like prey that shoots back. It’s almost simple. People just need educating.

As Pew has reported in recent years, in fact, the American public is “unaware” that the homicide rate in the United States has fallen by 49 percent over the past twenty years. And while Pew doesn’t report on it, it’s also a safe bet that the public is also unaware that homicide rates have collapsed as total gun ownership in the United States has increased significantly.

Over a recent 20 year period, the number of new guns in the US that were either manufactured in the US or imported into the US increased 141 percent from 6.6 million new guns in 1994 to 16 million in 2013. That means a gross total of 132 million new guns were added into the US population over that time period.

…

Naturally, these facts are steadfastly ignored by people who can’t do basic arithmetic, like the constitutional law Professor David S. Cohen who wrote Monday at Rolling Stone that the second Amendment must be repealed because it is “a threat to liberty” and a “suicide pact.”

Cohen’s argument rests largely on the idea that gun violence it out of control and that guns are different now than they were in the 18th century. One cannot argue with the former part. But are guns significantly different today from what they were twenty years ago? Clearly, the answer to that is no, and given that homicide rates have plummeted since then, Cohen needs to explain why repealing the second Amendment is advisable when increases in gun ownership have coincided with declines in homicides.

Moreover, we must ask ourselves if the US was engaged in a “suicide pact” in the 1940s and 1950s when homicide rates where at historic lows, when the Second Amendment existed, and when gun control measures were very weak by modern standards.

  • ZeroHedge

The observation of these trends and numbers is nothing new. John Lott wrote More Guns, Less Crime in 1998. I suggest you buy a copy if you haven’t read it already. Lott also concentrated on how many lives guns save every year – more than a million. The lefties always overlook that statistic though some are openly hostile to it. Some do not want people defending themselves under any circumstances.

Read this book.

By the way, the dreaded AR-15, other “assault-style” rifles, and all other rifles accounted for 248 murders in 2014 – less than knives (1,567), hammers (435), and fists and feet (660). Where’ the hysteria for banning feet and hammers?

The same people who incite hysteria over guns and gun control are generally the same folks who want more government. Do not give in to their irrational fear-mongering. Arm yourself with the facts.

In the wake of the false flag Battle of Orlando the satanic government and it’s supporters are running around mad trying to disarm would-be victims of terrorism. Senate Democrats, President Hussein Obama, and DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson are pushing S.551 which would allow the Attorney General to ban ANYONE from purchasing or owning firearms. Democrats and Republicans are both working to close “loopholes” that don’t exist. The closing will make it harder for decent people to buy guns. The mighty NRA has caved (again) and is backing a scheme partially similar to S.551. The Donald, who used to back gun control, now says he’s against it. The politically altered Supreme Court is once again examining another set of illegal firearms laws and conflicting rulings from the Fourth and Seventh Circuits. Both of those rulings concern “assault rifles” which, along with all other types of rifles, account for less than half the yearly number of murders attributed to punches and kicks.

The storm clouds formed pretty quick over sunny Second Amendment Land.

It’s not just politicians and lawyers attacking firearms. The sorry excuse for a media industry in America is hard at work too. Gersch Kuntzman (… these names …) is a wimp at the New York Daily News. Following the Battle of Orlando he went to a gun range to shoot an AR-15. The experience traumatized the poor man. “It felt to me like a bazooka — and sounded like a cannon,” Kuntzman cried, “I was terrified.” I’m sure he was.

The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.

Even in semi-automatic mode, it is very simple to squeeze off two dozen rounds before you even know what has happened. If modified to fully automatic mode, it doesn’t take any imagination to see dozens of bodies falling in front of your barrel.

All it takes is the will to do it.

Forty nine people can be gone in 60 seconds.

His point is: guns are bad. Guns killed forty-nine people in 60 seconds. Actually, it took 3 hours but who’s keeping track of time.

Back to why he’s terrified … I know why. He loved shooting that AR and he’s ashamed to admit it. No black rifle variant is anything like a cannon. There is next to no recoil from a .223/5.56. They’re just plain fun. I have personally converted several “liberal” anti-gun types through the sheer magic of shooting an AR (and/or a fully automatic sub-machine gun). You have to drag them away from the range with great effort. Kuntzman left feeling like he’s just done a line off coke while racing a Formula One car. Then, as he dragged himself away, he realized he must either switch sides or lie about his experience. Hats off to him for maintaining his leftist identity.

Meanwhile the real attacks continue. Officials say the Somalian muslin “refugee” terrorist in Amarillo wasn’t a terrorist at all – merely a disgruntled employee passed over for a promotion.

Police Sgt. Brent Barbee says the suspect, 54-year-old Mohammad Moghaddam, took his manager and another person hostage over a dispute related to a promotion. Barbee says Moghaddam was a current employee at the Wal-Mart store.

Police say officers responded to the incident around 11 a.m. Authorities say a police SWAT crew entered the area of the store where the hostages were located around 12:20 p.m. and fatally shot Moghaddam.

Barbee says Moghaddam was armed with a handgun.

This may be true but I imagine the hostages felt terrorized, stout Texans though they be.

Elsewhere in Texas another jihadi, Peshwaz Azad Waise, was arrested without much incident after making Allah-laced threats at the local courthouse.

Peshwaz later arrived at the Denton County Court House at 1415 E. McKinney. He went inside and was stopped at the security checkpoint. He told security officers he was “the King.” [And he looks nothing like Elvis].

Sheriff’s Office deputies were summoned and they escorted him outside the building. While being detained, Peshwaz became agitated and said, “I’m imposing the death penalty (on the officers who were dealing with him.)” He later told them, “Anybody who touches me is going to bleed.”

Denton Police officers obtained an arrest warrant for terroristic threat for Peshwaz. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Denton City Jail. He remains in custody at this time.

Over in New Mexico another “refugee,” an illegal alien muslim, was arrested on suspicion of planning a pipeline bombing.

Police in a U.S. town bordering Mexico have apprehended an undocumented, Middle Eastern woman in possession of the region’s gas pipeline plans, law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch. Authorities describe the woman as an “Islamic refugee” pulled over during a traffic stop by a deputy sheriff in Luna County, New Mexico which shares a 54-mile border with Mexico. County authorities alerted the U.S. Border Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) has been deployed to the area to investigate, sources with firsthand knowledge of the probe confirm.

I’m sure that was all workplace related too.

The JTTF is being deployed all over the place. Post Orlando tips are pouring in and the FBI has about 10,000 open terrorism investigations.

For the FBI many of these are more than just investigations. Many are false flag/entrapment operations. Such was the case with Omar Mateen:

New York Daily News in their article, “FBI spied on Orlando gay club terrorist Omar Mateen for 10 months in 2013: FBI Director James Comey,” would admit (emphasis added):
Mateen first appeared on authorities’ radar in 2013 after the security guard’s colleagues alerted the FBI to inflammatory statements he made to colleagues claiming “family connections to Al Qaeda,” according to Comey.

Mateen also told coworkers he had a family member who belonged to Hezbollah, a Shia network that is a bitter enemy of ISIS — the network he pledged allegiance to the night of the carnage, Comey noted.

The FBI’s Miami office opened an inquiry into Mateen.

“He said he hoped that law enforcement would raid his apartment and assault his wife and child so he could martyr himself,” Comey said.

Nevertheless, FBI investigators investigated Mateen, who was born in New York, for 10 months. They introduced him to confidential informants, spied on his communications and followed him. They also interviewed him twice.
Informants Posing as Handlers

The significance of this cannot be understated. “Informants” in this context, according to FBI affidavits regarding similar counterterrorism investigations, refers to individuals posing as members of terrorist organizations who approach suspects, coerce them into planning and preparing for terrorist attacks, before finally aiding the FBI in the suspect’s arrest before the attack is finally carried out.

Read this FBI warrant affidavit from a similar terror case in Florida. The FBI goes all out in some of these cases, supplying would-be attackers with weapons, bombs, tactics, training, ideas, plots, and targets. The idea is to intercept them just before they carry out an attack and charge them with something like Attempting to Use a Weapon of Mass Destruction, 18 U.S.C.A. 2332(a), a 40-year to life felony. Sometimes that works. Sometimes things slip. Sometimes 49 people die.

nimbus-image-1466020085464

The Mateen family has a long history of playing along in these state terrorism games. The American people have a history of suffering because of them. The truth is that the games must stop and that we must keep our arms until and after they do.

Again, DO NOT TALK

CIA, crime, don't talk, FBI, government, lies, police, terrorism

Usually nothing good comes out of talking to the police. I’ve said this again and again and again. In the ordinary encounter they attempt to have a suspect (we’re all suspects) say something they can use against him. Remember, you have the right to remain silent. Use it because anything you say can and will be used against you.

It gets worse. If you talk and you don’t say something they can use against you, they will just fabricate some false story out of your words or simply make up a complete lie to suit their needs. If you give a 30-minute interview the odds are there will be some random sentences that can be edited together into a sinister statement which, though untrue, will be used before a jury (grand and/or trial). I’ve seen it in person. In the absence of any incriminating statements, clever investigators can say you said something (off record and not recorded, of course). This makes it harder for you to deny the lies – you did give a statement after all. You admit that. It becomes your word against the cop’s as to what you said. Courts are programmed to automatically give credence to the police version.

Outside of personal criminal cases it is still unwise to talk to agents of the state. Even if they’re not trying to railroad you with a false confession or something similar they can still use “your” statements to fabricate an official lie or cover-up.

On July 17, 1996 TWA flight 800 exploded off the coast of Long Island and fell into the Atlantic Ocean. The official story is that an oxygen generation system in the fuel tanks malfunctioned and caused the crash. This is certainly possible. It is also a possibility the plane was shot down by a SAM. Several witnesses have said they say something (like a missile) streaking toward the aircraft just before the explosion occurred. One of those witnesses was Mike Wire.

Wire was one of hundreds of witnesses interviewed by the FBI following the tragedy. He spoke with Special Agent Andrew Lash for over an hour and a half. Lash took copious notes which he allowed Wire to double-check. All seemed well. Then several years later Wire learned his interview served as the basis of the government’s official story – a story which did not match Wire’s account.

Irvine had something he wanted me to see. It was a certified word-for-word transcript of a 1999 meeting between the NTSB’s witness group and the CIA analysts who created the animation the FBI used to close the case. I was amazed that I was referenced so much; it seemed that a third of this 81-page document mentioned me (the man on the bridge) in some way.

As it turns out, the CIA based its animation around what I saw. However, there was a big problem. The CIA claimed that the nose of the plane blew off and when it did, the plane soared up for more than 3,000 feet. This, according to the CIA, confused me and other witnesses into thinking we saw a missile. I saw nothing of the kind. I saw an object zigzag up off the horizon at about a 40-degree angle, arch over and culminate in an explosion. After the explosion, the plane fell straight out of the sky.

As the transcript showed, at least two of the NTSB people gave the CIA resistance. They had seen the FBI “302” that Lash prepared, and it honestly reported what I had seen. When cornered, the CIA analyst responded, “He [I] was an important eyewitness to us. And we asked the FBI to talk to him again, and they did.”

This was nonsense. The FBI never spoke to me after the initial Lash interview. The CIA analyst continued, “In his original description, he [I] thought he had seen a firework and that perhaps that firework had originated on the beach behind the house.” This was true.

According to the analyst, though, I was “reinterviewed,” and I changed my statement. According to this fictional second interview, I did not see the light ascend from the beach. I first saw the light appear “as if — if you imagine a flagpole on top of the house it would be as if it were on the top or the tip of the flag pole.” As a millwright, we do not use flagpoles as an increment of measurement. I would use degrees of angle in this kind of instance as in the original statement.

“Now, when the FBI told us that,” said the analyst, “we got even more comfortable with our theory.”

I do not know who generated this false interview to fit their scenario, but I stand by my original approved statement made to agent Lash. No other statement exists as there were none. The CIA built its case-closing animation around an interview that never took place. I would learn later that the CIA manufactured interviews with several other key witnesses.

This whole experience has left me disillusioned with the FBI, disillusioned with the CIA, and totally disillusioned with the news media that bought this whole story without ever questioning it — even after the truth about the fake interviews had become impossible to deny.

In sensitive cases like this the FBI and other domestic law enforcement sources serve as information generators for the CIA, which ultimately controls the official stories. Regardless of what really happened and what is said the CIA will only publish the version it wants the public to see. Fake interviews can only be effectively denied if they never happened. Rather than making statement X to the FBI only to have the CIA convert it into statement Y for disinformation purposes it is far better to have no part in the process period.

heavy.com

If approached by any state officers under such circumstances one should not only refuse to make statements and answer questions but record the refusal and following silence. This will not stop them from fabricating lies but will give you plausible deniability. Let them make up their own stories.

Despicable Denny Proves a Point (Several in Fact)

Warning: the subject matter de jure is downright sickening.  The other day I stated that I really hate politicians.  If you’ve ever met or smelled one, then you understand.

News came last week of the indictment of yet another filthy, criminal pol.  It was spun in rather drab fashion I think.  People are so used to this sort of thing it’s not really news anymore. Yet, and still, the people clamor for their “representatives” whenever an election comes to town.  That’s proven point number one – the public is composed of voting idiots.

Dennis “Denny” Hastert was a Republican Congress-criter from Illinois. He served as the 59th Speaker of the House from 1999 until 2007. This coincided, largely, with the reign of Jorge Bush, the Dimmer.

You may recall how Hastert helped Bush double the national debt while creating new cabinet agencies and several undeclared wars – conservative stuff.  Proven point number two – politicians of any party and their governments are a band of criminals and the scourge of civilization.  Denny’s House Whip (the following story lends new and lurid speculation as to this term) was Tom DeLay. DeLay narrowly avoided a felony conviction and prison for election violations in Texas.  Hastert now faces felony charges of his own from the federal government.

Remember my piece on “Structuring?”  No?  Read it again for good measure.

Cash transactions in excess of $10,000 are automatically flagged by banks and referred to the FBI for investigation. No crime needs be committed.  Just withdrawing your own money for any reason is suspicious enough for the ever-nosey feds to examine.  One would think they’d be busy fighting terrorists or child rapists or something.

Anyway, it is also illegal to split cash deposits or withdrawals into smaller increments so as to evade the reporting process. It seems criminal intent is in the Eye of Sauron of the government beholder.  Consult the U.S. Code – 31 U.S.C. 5324 – for specifics on this idiotic law.

Dear Denny has been charged with structuring his cash withdrawals.  Some time ago he began to withdraw $50,000 at a time from his bank accounts.  Five times the “legal” limit, these transactions were automatically flagged.  The bank or the cops must have informed Denny because he began to make withdrawals (lots of them) at just under the $10,000 limit.  Denny withdrew several million dollars in such fashion.

These lesser withdrawals were noted by the bank.  Concerned Denny was being blackmailed or something, the bank reported the new, lower withdrawals to the Empire. While any cash transaction over $10,000 must be automatically reported any amount the bank deems suspicious can be reported on a “STR” or suspicious transactions report.

Let’s be clear for a second.  Your money is your money.  You have the right to do whatever you want with it and in any amount or combinations of amounts.  It is your damned property.  Or you should have the right.  The government and “your” bank are infringing your rights.  Thus, poor Denny is a victim of this Draconian, illegitimate law. Point number three – federal banking laws exist to control and hurt people.

Denny is also charged with lying to federal officials.  This proves another point of mine – do not talk to any officers or agents of any police force – ever.  If you’re not talking, you’re not lying.  Point four – do not talk to the cops.

It turns out Denny had a rather pressing reason to move his funds around as he did. Before Denny descended into the cesspool of Washington he was a fat teacher and wrestling coach at a high school in a small Illinois town.  Either from a deranged mind or a strategic training regimen for his future political career Denny began to sexually molest one (or more) of his underage male charges.

I have not researched the specifics of these allegations and I do not plan to.  I will assume they were lecherous, debased acts of the Jerry Sandusky variety.  It is technically possible Denny is innocent in this matter (the sex matter).  It is also technically possible a black hole will materialize overnight and swallow the sun, thus bringing a tomorrow without dawn.  The odds of both are roughly equal though weighted in favor of the astronomical anomaly.  Denny obtained the cash in order to pay off his would be accuser(s).  Child molestation or rape charges don’t help a grafting political career and may cause inconvenient jail time.

I imagine these boys (or boy) were younger and smaller than most.  Predators seek out the weaker members of the herd for attack.  In any event they were young men, children, in need of molding and guidance.  Instead, they suffered physical trauma and psychological damage no-one, especially a child, should ever experience.

Men (and women) who molest children should be disposed of in the most brutal manner conceivable.  Hastert, Sandusky, Michael Jackson, that lowlife down the block – not one of them contributes to society and each is a unacceptible danger.  Hang them from the highest trees.  This is point five:  “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 18:6 (KJV)(mind you, Jesus says this tortuous execution would be better than what awaits the degenerate in Hell).

deeny the queer

(Cash, rape and politics.  Ready the millstone.  Chicago Tribune.)

One would think the government would be more interested in prosecuting child rape than imagined financial irregularities.  One would be wrong in America.  Jesse Ventura once noted the excellent point that people under the age of 21 are treated as children in America, forbidden to drink alcohol by the government.  The same government sends people under 21 off to war to die in jungles and deserts.  Thus, the U.S. government sends children to war.  This is a war crime under the Geneva Convention.

Sad, but true, in America the government cares more amount money and systemic process than about protecting innocent children.  Given enough time to metastasize all governments eventually behave with such disregard for morality.  This brings up point number six – government is utterly useless and extraordinarily dangerous. Tell that to the Diebold voting machine next time you are asked to sanction the system.

You have undoubtedly heard by now of the second great shootout in Waco, Texas.  The first involved the FBI, the U.S. Army and some unfortunate parishioners at the local Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Over twenty-two years ago the government decided to “rescue” some women and children from the clutches of their own church.  In typical government fashion the rescue attempt became an inferno (literally).

(Saving the children, government style.  Google.)

This time around the action featured members of various biker clubs.  The Bandidos and several other gangs met at the local Twin Peaks restaurant to discuss recruitment and territorial matters.  It was a sort of corporate retreat for overweight, balding druggies and felons.

Twin Peaks is famous for its sophisticated culinary offerings.

Bikers are famous for … well …

Ugly-People-Unite-119

(Yeah… Why, Google, why?)

Bikers clubs, frequently rivaling the State in criminality, are often subject to intense police scrutiny.  The government suffers no rivals.  As was, the local police were keeping a malicious eye on the two-wheeling hooligans.  They apparently warned the management of Twin Peaks the event would turn out poorly.

At first, things seemed to go well.  “You like riding a dangerous over-sized bicycle without a helmet?”  “Me too!”  Friendships were forming.  Then, sadly, someone said or did something someone else did not like.

A fight began which left nine dead and eighteen seriously injured.  About 170 were arrested following a mass assault by the police who were, conveniently, staging nearby. When the shooting started the cops were ready and participated immediately.  SWAT units and tanks were already on site.

Many of my fellow conspiracy theorist friends have judged that the police, seeking to eliminate corrupt competition, staged the event and sniped those key members of the clubs whom most threatened their dominance.  I, as of yet, do not share this conclusion.  However, if the media resoundingly silences the results of autopsies and reports (as in the first murderous Waco affair), much credence will be given to this view. Already, things are “returning to normal.”

As nothing really surprises me anymore, this would make perfect sense.  It would also make sense if this was just the result of redneck stupidity – a sign of the demented times of modern America.  I recently wrote about blacks in Baltimore burning and looting their own neighborhoods in acts of flagrant stupidity.  I also touched on the incessant need of Muslims to shoot up cartoon conventions.  It’s only natural for marginally educated or employed white boys to get in on the senseless violence.

So it goes in America.  What a great country we had.  Remember the 70’s? Or the 80’s? 50’s? 90’s?  It seems like such a long time ago.  Time marches on.  The culture regresses.

I’ve been forecasting a giant, scholarly post of late.  Today will be the day.  I intend to publish a draft today or tonight by hook or by crook.  It’s coming.  As sure as the boobs of Texas are upon you.

Guarding Liberty?

225 years ago, Patrick Henry remarked in a speech: “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.”

We are hurdling toward our inevitable ruin.  The New York Times reports today that the Obama Administration is delaying both reading Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev his Miranda warnings and granting him an attorney, despite being questioned by the FBI.  I suspect most Americans could care less or, more likely, are happy about the situation.  Today at the gym and beyond I was treated to comments like, “They shoulda killed that thar tarrisss when they found heeem!”

I understand passions run high in this case but, folks, we still live in a Constitutional Republic (if in name only).  I have sworn an oath to God Almighty to support and defend the Constitution and the rights of the People, even those (especially those) accused of committing crimes.

In 1966 the Supreme Court ruled that criminal suspects must be read a short summary of their rights – you know these from TV cop shows – before being questioned.  The right to an attorney is set forth in the Sixth Amendment.  “Public safety” exceptions to the speed at which these rights are exercised have unwisely dripped out of the courts over the years.  In theory, the government can question Tsarnaev immediately concerning imminent threats.  However, once they began asking broader questions, the law should apply.  Concerning terrorism cases, the Justice [SIC] Department has advised the FBI to go as broad as possible from the start.  The courts have, by and large, stood by silently.  If his prosecution goes forward as a criminal case, without application of the law, any conviction or plea could be reversed.

Of course, he may be deemed an enemy combatant and hauled off to Gitmo or some CIA torture facility abroad.  Remember, our Dear Leader has declare himself capable of simply killing Americans at will, with or without evidence.  Perhaps that will be Tsarnaev’s fate.

Whatever happens, it is clear the jewel of our Liberty has been approached.  I suspect the government and its motives here.  The only force I can exert is here, via my writings.  This may enrage the “America.  F**k yeah!” rednecks.  I do not care.  Will you join me or give in to ruin?

Today marks the 20th anniversary of the fiery end of the federal government’s siege on the Branch Davidian Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waco, Texas.  April 19, 1993 was the end of a month and a half ordeal probably unlawfully initiated against a peaceful, if weird, group of Christians by the tyrannical Imperial federal government.  In addition to being a serious injustice in and of itself, it also stands as a critical warning to all of us free citizens currently enduring the 21st Century.

(Separation of Church and State?  Google Images.)

I recall the media’s treatment of the story during the winter and spring of 1993.  Essentially, they reported the feds’ words verbatim and, in keeping with modern journalistic tact, did so with no critical analysis whatsoever.  The Clinton administration and their lamestream puppets said that David Koresh was a deranged and dangerous man who had brainwashed a large group of followers Jim Jones style and who had engaged in several serious criminal offenses.  All of this was based on lies.  Seventhy-six innocent civilians and four stormtroopers lost their lives because of these lies.  Numerous others, on both sides, were scarred, physically and mentally, as a result of the battle.

Twenty years later, there has never been an honest official review of the crimes committed by the government between February 28th and April 19th that fateful year.  Laws have been rendered obsolete, innocents have been imprisoned, criminals have been promoted and lionized, and the truth might have just as well burned in the terrible conflagration.

The Branch Davidians separated from the mainline Seventh Day Adventist Church in 1955.  Essentially, they believed they were living in the “end times” and ordered their lives accordingly.  There developed a power struggle within the group between David Koresh and George Roden.  During the 1980’s there was a violent confrontation between the factions which resulted in several prosecutions; there were no convictions and the matter faded away.  Following his conviction for a 1989 axe murder, Roden was imprisoned in a mental facility.  Koresh took command of the church.

Koresh believed himself the final prophet of the church and the man who would guide the group through the end of days, the rapture, or whatever.  His methods were odd to say the least.  His followers moved into his compound in Waco where Koresh lead a polygamist prophetly existence.  I have never understood why people ever allow themselves to come under the sway of such men.  At any rate, Koresh and his followers were largely isolated from the rest of the world, engaged in their final preparations.

koresh_David_320x240

(David Koresh, born Vernon Wayne Howell.  Google.)

Those preparations, in part, lead to the government’s investigation and subsequent charges.  The charges were as follows: manufacture and possession of illegal weapons (machine guns), the manufacture of methamphetamines, and child abuse and statutory rape of young girls.  I seem to recall tax evasion charges as well but cannot locate definitive documentation.  The IRS can always bring tax charges or administrative actions against anyone due to the impossible nature of the tax code.

There was no evidence to support the meth charges.  Roden had allegedly run a meth lab at the church during the 80s.  However, the operation had ceased years before Koresh took over the group.  Not approving a drugs, Koresh dutifully turned over to local authorities the remains of lab.  That was the extent of the evidence – none.  Some FBI and ATF agents acknowledged the lack of evidence on these counts.

The allegations of child abuse, etc. came from Koresh’s critics, both before and after the 1993 ordeal.  Such crimes, even when real, are not federal matters.  They are within the jurisdiction of the state.  Nevertheless, the accusations were included against Koresh and Co. in order to make them look as bad as possible to the grand jury and judge.  The government never lets the truth interfere with a case.

Reports indicate that Texas child-protective authorities had previously visited the church and talked extensively with Koresh.  No charges resulted.  Koresh was also on relatively friendly speaking terms with the local Sheriff, who later expressed concern over federal actions.

As for the “machine guns,” the charges stemmed from a report by a UPS delivery driver of weapons components being shipped to the group in Waco.  The driver relayed his information to the Sheriff’s Office.  A deputy then informed the BATF (BATFE or ATF).  Another Koresh detractor and former member provided hearsay of the illegal conversion of AR-15 rifles into automatic M-16s.  The Davidians ran a legitimate weapons business, the Mag Bag, in order to raise funds for their operation.  None of their wares and weapons were illegally obtained.  However, the ATF (again not concerned with the truth) mislead a federal judge by speculating that the mere existence of the legal weapons might suggest a crime.

The ATF also informed the judge that a neighbor had previously reported the sound of automatic gun fire emanating from the church.  They failed to leave out the fact that, as with the child abuse charges, this sound was also reported to the Sheriff, who had investigated the matter and concluded there was no criminal activity.

You may recall that during the siege and its aftermath, the media parrotted reports of a certain number of machine guns at the church.  The number continued to decline oddly as time passed until it reached th true number – zero.

As part of their speculative fishing trip the ATF set up surveillance from a nearby house and sent an unconvincing infiltrator to join the group.  Koresh became aware of both but said nothing.  Once their lies were neatly typed out, the ATF obtained search and arrest warrants and prepared to descend on the church on February 28, 1993.

A reported was tipped off about the impending raid and asked for directions to the church from a postman, who happened to be Koresh’s brother-in-law.  Thus was Koresh tipped off.  He then dismissed the ATF’s informant from the group.  The informant reported that, when he departed the church, the members were praying.

Having come to belive their own lies, the ATF geared for battle against the church members.  They illegally assembled at Fort Hood, a nearby Army installation (remember the Posse Comitatus Act, anyone?).  They were well armed and well armoured though their other preparations were unbelievably incompetent.  Rather than arriving in marked vehicles so as to identify themselves as lawmen, the agents rode up in cattle trailers pulled by several pick-up trucks (private models belonging to various agents).  They also neglected to carry communications equipment.  The first reports of a gun fight at the church came from the church itself; the members called 911 to report they were being attacked by a gang of heavily armed thugs.

Those thugs, once they disembarked their trailers, immediately opened fire on the church – in order to kill and silence the canine residents.  Normally, approaching officers identify themselves as such and attempt to serve their warrants peacefully.

Thus, with no indication of the agent’s legal intentions (if any), the Davidians responded as Americans typically do to violent intruders.  They shot back.  A lethal gun battle raged from around 45 minutes.  The local Sheriff, who said he was not apprised of the raid and knew nothing of it until the Davidians called for help, was unable to communicate with the ATF (dead radios don’t receive calls).  The Sheriff’s Office eventually negotiated a cease-fire.  Five Davidains and four agents were dead.  At this point, Koresh’s and his followers’ fates were sealed.  The government does not tolerate the killing of their own, even in cases of self-defense.

Following the ceasefire, one of the most infamous sieges in American history commenced.  The government dispensed with all vestiges of common sense and gradually increased tensions at the church.  Eventually, all the communications and utilities of the Davidians were cut off.  This left the members without running water and electricity.  The government apparently had lost interest in those abused children.

The FBI took over the operation.  Some within the agency favored negotiating a peaceful end to the ordeal.  Others, who views won out in the end, favored aggressive military action.  Koresh allowed eleven of his followers to depart – they were immediately arrested and some were prosecuted.  At least they survived.  As April passed the government prepared to end the confrontation violently.  As part of their campaign, the FBI mobilized military assets including, helicopters, light armoured vehicles, main battle tanks, and tactical advice from the military.

You may recall from my column, Posse Comitatus, that using the force of the military in domestic law enforcement is a felony.  Remember, no-one has ever been prosecuted under the Act.  However, some within the government remained honest and faithful to the law.  Before rendering illegal assistance to the FBI, the Army attempted to procedurally clear the matter internally.  The case was given to a JAG Attorney for analysis, particularly as to the FBI’s request for assistance.  The JAG Officer promptly reported the scheme was a Posse Comitatus violation.  He was told to stick his opinion in his ear.

The FBI, now armed for battle in an actual war, began to harass the Davidians intensely.  In addition to cutting off their utilities and treating those afore-mentioned children to high-decibel AC/DC music around the clock, the government constantly circled the church with their tanks.  They flattened everything outside, including the Davidians automobiles.  They also intentionally ran over grave sites repeatedly (a crime).

waco_texas_tanks_compound_fire

(We don’t need no stinking Posse Comitatus!  Google.)

At last, on April 19th, the government made its move.  President Clinton still desired a peaceful, negotiated end but was convinced by his chief-Nazi, Attorney General Janet Reno, to use violent force.  Reno’s justification for the use of overwhelming force varied and changed as time passed and the number of machine guns declined.

The FBI used their tanks to smash holes through the walls of the church.  Into these they pumped CS gas, which as a chemistry major like Reno (“consulted” by the military) should have known, is delivered via a highly flammable powder.  The FBI also launched numerous flash-bang grenades into the building.  As normally happens when extreme heat and sparks are applied to a flammable substance, a fire erupted.  Of course, the government blamed the fire on the Davidians – why stop the lies, at this point.  You will surely recall the fire, it is engrained in my memory forever.  See the picture above.

They government continued to ram the building with tanks.  They drove one into the building at a point where they knew the children were likely gathered.  I have seen video of a Davidian crushed and shredded beneath the tracks of one of the 70-ton vehicles.

The fire killed the Davidians.  Some attempted to escape only to be shot to death by FBI (or military) snipers.  I watched a video of a subsequent Congressional investigation of the event.  The Congressmen watched a video of the assault unfold that was filmed used FLIR (forward-looking infrared).  An expert identified various flashes as muzzle blasts directed toward fleeing, unarmed Davidians.  A member, indignant that anyone would question or accuse the government of murder, demanded to know what the expert’s expertise with FLIR.  The expert’s assertion he had invented the technology was insufficient for the panel.

All ensuing investigations, including that of Former Senator and Special Counsel John Danforth, exonerated the government.  We call this a whitewashing.  Following a criminal trial, eight Davidains were convicted of firearms charges.  Four were acquitted outright and all were cleared of murder charges.  Following numerous appeals the Davidans received much lighter sentences and all were freed from custody by 2007.  No criminal investigation or prosecution of the federal agents was ever conducted.  In another whitewashing, the survivors and the families of the deceased lost a civil lawsuit in the case of Andrade v. Chojnacki, 338 F.3d 448 (5th Cir. 2003).

This story is one of massive and complete injustice.  It should also serve as a dire warning to all Americans of the government’s boundless power and ability to get away with any crime, no matter the circumstances.  Remember Waco whenever you see or hear accusations from the government.  Remember who really abused children.  Remember who lied to initiate and to justify their actions.  Remember and do all you ever can to combat injustice.  We owe that much, at least, to our deceased citizens and to the Natural order of the law.
