Realizations of the Very Stupid Party

Even the dumbest of conservatives are beginning to sense something is wrong. An article full of so many cliches that it’s hard to track them bemoans the very predictable GOP loses in VA.

RICHMOND, Va. – As Virginia election returns rolled in Tuesday night, Republican campaign manager Daniella Propati quickly realized two things: Her candidate for the House of Delegates, GayDonna Vandergriff, would lose, and calling their opponent a “socialist” hadn’t worked.

North Richmond and the tony suburbs of Henrico County had once been a dependable backstop for the GOP, a place where statewide candidates found votes to offset Arlington and Alexandria. But the suburbs have undergone a metamorphosis in recent years – growing more socially liberal, more diverse, less interested in the red meat of the tea party and Donald Trump.

“Republicans – we’ve been running campaigns in Virginia the same way for 20 years,” Propati said. “We need to come together and say, ‘What do we need to do next time?’ “

That’s a question Republicans around the country are wrestling with after Tuesday’s elections revealed new troubles in suburbs from Memphis to Philadelphia. Nowhere has the problem been more pronounced than in Virginia, where Republicans have been all but wiped from power in the past decade.

A GOP candidate hasn’t won statewide office in Virginia since 2009. On Tuesday, Democrats gained majorities in both houses of the General Assembly for the first time in a generation; the House of Delegates swung from a 66-34 Republican edge in 2017 to a 55-45 Democratic advantage for next year’s session.

In presidential elections, Virginia has moved so swiftly to the left in recent contests that it barely paused to be a swing state.

“This is the nightmare scenario for a lot of people in the Republican Party,” said Ruy Teixeira, a demographer at the liberal Center for American Progress. “Virginia is an example of a possible future for some of the states that are now part of the Republican coalition.”

Virginia now stands as a fearful avatar for Republicans of what the nation’s unrelenting demographic and cultural changes mean for the party, as the moderate-to-liberal urban and suburban areas grow and more conservative rural areas lose ground.Similar shifts are starting to hit such states as North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Texas, as minority populations increase and white college-educated voters continue to turn away from the Republican brand.

“It ought to be a concern everywhere,” said former Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., whose northern Virginia district has been swept of GOP power. “These demographic changes are happening everywhere. They are not unique to Virginia.”

No, calling the opponent a socialist when you’ve allowed (helped) to flood the nation with socialists is not a winning strategy. Those cultural and demographic changes are unrelenting, but they were also stoppable. Maybe the GOP should have stop them. Maybe conservative is synonymous with stupid. Better luck last time.

An aside – I just had a conversation about this kind of thing in Georgia. There may yet be time to do something. If so, it’s a short time. And, it will require doing something.

“Our failed project” could be an analogy to something larger, something written about here with occasional frequency. As always, and I shouldn’t have to tell ya, read Scott Adams’s work today.

You get what you elect, America, Minnesota.

Surprise, surprise! “Representative” Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia) supports(ed) ISIS:

Embattled congressional freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., once asked a judge to show leniency toward a group of Minnesota men accused of trying to join the Islamic State terror group.

“The best deterrent to fanaticism is a system of compassion,” she wrote at the time. “We must alter our attitude and approach; if we truly want to effect change, we should refocus our efforts on inclusion and rehabilitation.”

Unless that is, one wants inclusion in America of actual Americans. When it comes to our home team, naturally, she isn’t as tolerant:

“The [Covington, KY] boys were protesting a woman’s right to choose & yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it’ … They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants … Sandmann’s family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology.” – deleted Tweet

Many years from now, after the war, we’ll look back on this and laugh.

Russians: The Mueller Indictment

So, now we have it – 37 pages of indictment against 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian organisations.

READ THE WHOLE THING HERE.

nimbus-image-1518813671347

It seems to me there were two purposes behind the Special Counsel’s investigation from the beginning: 1) actually investigate election tampering, etc., and; 2) find or manufacture evidence of collusion between Russia and Trump. The latter part was the heart and soul of the “Russia, Russia, Russia” mania gripping the media, the Democrats, etc.

The indictment finds and alleges no collusion whatsoever between the President and any Russian malfeasors. In fact, it finds no impropriety by any American.

With the recent developments in the FBI/FISA debacle and with no evidence of collusion anywhere, it may be that Mueller decided to wrap this one up. It could also be that he did a proper investigation and that this is the result.

The issue is, of course, developing. More later, likely.

Read. Discuss. Etc.

In their independence, if they wish, or otherwise. The craven and useless U.S. government does not – nor do their pets in the media. That’s why you, in the US or outside of Western Europe, have heard so so little about today’s referendum.

For what it’s worth, the US doesn’t support independence in Kurdistan either – or anywhere else really.

“The United States does not recognize the Kurdistan Regional Government’s unilateral referendum held on Monday. The vote and the results lack legitimacy and we continue to support a united, federal, democratic and prosperous Iraq,” said the man who tried to destroy the Boy Scouts of America.

Out of respect for democracy, we cannot recognize the democratic actions of a people. Nice.

The controllers want control. They don’t care about unity, freedom, or prosperity. They certainly don’t care about peace. This woman wasn’t a victim of the terror attacks in either Canada nor France:

DLEo553V4AAMw78

Drudge.

No. She was a victim of imperial aggression meted out by the shock troops of Madrid. Her crime was trying to vote her conscience.

Not a lot of unity or prosperity in that picture, eh?

Despite the worst efforts of the Satanic globalists some people still want self-determination; some wish to be free.

Puff Diddy Daddy says black Americans were shortchanged by their allegiance to Hussein Obama. No kidding, Piff Duffy. He says they won’t be fooled again. No, not until the next election, if history is any indicator.

The Germans, on the other hand, just made a statement. People in Germany are prod of Germany and want to keep Germany. Imagine that. While the AFD did not completely sweep to power, they did push Angela “The Traitor-Witch” Merkel’s CDU into 3rd place. (In Germany, as in most places, there are more than 2 parties, Bubba Joe).

While Americans keep choosing different levels of evil, the Germans will build on this election. Merkel is done. The genocidal plans for Europe are done. The rapists, stabbers, bombers and leeches should book passage out of the Continent now. Might be wise for the multi-cultis and the globalists to leave too.

Mencken Proven Right Again and Again and Again and …

A theory no more: “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.” – H.L. Mencken. This is now Mencken’s LAW of Democracy.

Austria sits geographically and politically near the center of Europe. Like other Western nations the Republik Österreich is awash in third world invasion, degeneracy, and political/cultural chaos. The Austrian people had a chance to reverse course and apparently decided to stay it instead. Pro-Austrian and anti-terrorism/invasion Presidential candidate Norbert Hofer lost very narrowly to a typical liberal bed-wetter. Given the way he lost I suspect ballot fraud. Nonetheless, the people have, democratically, spoken – stupidly.

Austrians chose to elect a man who says, “Anyone who loves Austria must be shit”.  They chose that over a man who would defend them and their culture. And, unlike Americans, they had real choices. Getting it good and hard.

Americans too are suffering the simultaneous dismantling of their culture and rampant immigration/invasion. The dots on the map below represent immigrants flooding the U.S.; imagine instead they are inbound cruise missiles.

Criminal invasion in America is surging. The invaders seek welfare and terror targets. They try to run people over with automobiles. They bring tuberculosis. This, coupled with a crumbling economy, a corrupt government, trans-whatever insanity, bad music and open witchcraft, makes for a different country than some of us remember.

Norbert will be back in Austria; he and his peers will sweep Europe. It will take but a little time. Hopefully time will cure the U.S. too. Otherwise we will continue to get it good and hard.

A last word on the GOP no vote BS out of Colorado. Last night I took a look at Rush’s “Us v. Them” approach to politics. Now I’ll turn it over to good old Vox Day, who adds a recent historical perspective and a blunt assessment:

Remember, this is the same Republican party who said we had to invade Iraq to bring democracy there and waxed ecstatic over purple fingers. Now they’re running with the “it’s a representative republic, not a democracy” line. And if you still believe that they care about anything but maintaining their own power, you’re a fool.

Of course, given that he is ineligible for the presidency anyhow, Cruz probably doesn’t care that he is now regarded as an illegitimate candidate for the nomination.

  • A Voterless Victory, Vox.

At this point we might as well replace the bald eagle with the fool.

Mile High Mania or Why I Stopped Listening To Rush Limbaugh

Rush has been broadcasting for years and years now. When he first started I was a fan. He was honest, provocative and entertaining. He preached a message of macho conservatism in support of Ronald Reagan’s philosophy and heir, G.H.W. Bush. Bush turned out to be a horrible flop. In retrospect Reagan was too. Conservatives always forget about Reagan’s debt and government expansion, his gun control and immigration amnesty. Bill Clinton’s two terms were the best things that ever happened to Rush; he had something to shoot at and shoot he did.

Then something funny happened. Rush’s Republican party won everything. Oddly, the country continued to slide. Turns out Republicans govern just as poorly as Democrats. Rush finally settled into the role of GOP cheerleader – the squad captain. He praised Bush for doing things he had criticized Clinton for. He lost me.

Some things never change. Today Rush is of the party and for the party. The candidates don’t really matter that much, the voters certainly don’t. Consider what happened to the Republican (non) primary in Colorado. The state party decided to forgo an election and just pick Ted Cruz. Voters are not happy. Rush is fine with the process because it is from the party and for the party. Ted Cruz Isn’t Cheating, He’s Winning, according to Rush.  Click the link to read the transcript from Rush’s show today (or not – probably not).

Like the old bumper sticker said, “Rush is right”. He is. I said basically the same thing this morning. The Colorado GOP is, like the party in general, a private club. They can set their rules and procedures as they like. I think what happened is pathetic and an indication of how pitiful things are in the body politic. Rush is just happy a Republican won something Republican. Republican.

In that transcript you didn’t read Rush notes that when the GOP does something like this it is not cheating, just procedural. However, he points out that when the Democrats do the exact same thing, benefiting Hillary over Bernie, that is cheating. We can succinctly sum up Rush’s entire career: Democrats, bad; Republicans, good. Like any cheerleader he fights hard for his team.

And, that is all it is: teams in a stupid, stupid game played by the lowest dregs America has to offer. It will not change except that it will get worse. Go ahead and cheer…er…vote for your team – if they let you.

I hope you didn’t fall for too many corny jokes yesterday. I stayed in bed to avoid any confusion. Now, April 2nd, provides a great opportunity to examine several examples of the modern fooling of the masses.

Watch or click CNBC and you’d think America was in the throws of a bull market. Things are better than good, right? Numbers may be isolated and manipulated in order to create illusions. Taken in pari materia they forcast the return of stagflation. What’s next? Disco?

The Republicans and Democrats are moving heaven and earth to convince you your vote counts. It doesn’t. Elections are and always have been rigged. In the past the irregularities were ametuer, brutish. Remember, if you will, the spectacle of Bush v. Gore, which definitively showed American elections to be flim flam writ large. Today the manipulation is a science.

Before he went to prison Andrés Sepúlveda made a living Rigging South American elections. He’s an expert. He says there’s a 100% chance the U.S. presidential election is fixed. He’s just talking about information. Who knows what the Diebold ballot computers can do. Vote if you like.

As I mentioned a few days ago most Western media outlets are propaganda agents of the CIA and other government entities. The “news” is a tool to drive public opinion in favor of various state schemes. It also rewrites and obscures history. Remember the Liberty? Probably not.

Reality television has spawned reality reality, a strange world of scripted and idiotic conformity. Anyone out of sync with the blind herd is a threat to be eliminated. Nowhere is this clearer than at our universities. Once bastions of learning and markets for the exchange of ideas, the schools are now mere temples of indoctrination. Professors promoting or defending academic honesty are ridiculed and disciplined. Welcome to wonderland.

The good news is, starting tomorrow, for one week the forces of decent civilization congregate in one place – Augusta.

tickets

They appeared earlier this week. Augusta Chronicle.

Prepare yourselves for a short suspension of modern madness. Relax, catch your breath, have a pimento cheese sandwich.
