Europe’s Other Refugee Crisis: The Rise of Anti-Christian Hate

The Roman Empire persecuted early Christians. In Addition to killing Saint Peter and Paul the Apostle, the Empire killed, tortured, and abused countless others of the faith. Early followers of Christ were forced to live and worship underground (literally in some cases). Still, they persisted and in 312 A.D. Emperor Constantine himself converted. Today Rome is the center of Christianity; Europe is also known as Christendom.

Yet today, nineteen and a half centuries after Peter’s crucifixion, European Christians are once again being forced underground.

Hussein Obama does not admit Christian or non-muslim refugees into the United States. Of the thousands and thousands that come, virtually all are Islamic. Germany, which allows in far more refugees per capita than the U.S., apparently accepts at least a few Christians into its camps and migrant centers.

In those centers Christians are treated like animals by their Muslim fellows. The conditions they endure at the hands of the Mohammedans are deplorable:

Many Muslim asylum seekers call all Christians unclean. Church services are held in secret, bibles and crucifixes have to be hidden,” she explained.

Ms Mousapour, pastor of the Evangelical Free Church, disclosed that even converts who no longer live in migrant housing attract Muslims’ ire, and recounted her experience of being threatened at knifepoint on the street.

The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) politician called the anti-Christian hate crimes “horrific attacks on our fundamental values and our Constitution.

This treatment mirrors the general disdain the invaders have for their host countries, not just Germany, but France, Holland, Britain, and the rest of Europe. Christians at large are in danger; Priests are murdered during Mass. Crime is rampant. The invaders have no regard for European women. They do not want to assimilate into Western society. They want to replace it with their own (while, of course, still accepting the generous benefits offered by the natives). This collective refusal of civilization is in addition to the near-constant terrorist attacks the savages have unleashed: bombing people; shooting people; stabbing people; beheading people; running over people with trucks; etc.

The refugee policies of Europe represent suicide by migrants. Worse, this horror has been foisted on the people by their own corrupt leaders. A few politicians and Christian leaders are calling for the deportation of immigrant thugs who commit anti-Christian hate crimes. The problem is: how does one know which of the invaders are prone to such activity. Given that factor and, more importantly, the overall hatred the refugees hold for the West, why not deport them all?

This is the only solution that will ensure a continued civilized, Christian Europe. The same may be said of America.

Sayeth the Drudge headlines this morning:

Matt Drudge, August 10, 2016

Julian Assange strongly suggested that Seth Rich, the DNC staffer mysteriously murdered on his way to see the FBI, was a Wikileaks operative. Thus, Wikileaks, and not Russia or anyone else, was behind the covert investigation into the Clinton crime syndicate.

Where did you read that first? A full week ago I said, “By the way: it wasn’t the Russians.”

nimbus-image-1470829038305

I am sometimes (not always) ahead of the game. I know many dark things and others aren’t so hard to guess.

In this matter, Wikileaks did what the FBI refused to do. If Rich had made it to his meeting, if is likely nothing would have come out of it. Still, Americans who value freedom owe Assange and Co. a little gratitude.

I am surprised by one thing: Rich’s murder was ruled a murder. Given who is involved one would have thought it a “suicide”.

America, children, Perrin Lovett, schools, summer

I’m more confused than Rodney Dangerfield.

This afternoon I checked my voice mail and discovered a message from my daughter’s school. It was a kindly robo-call to remind me that my little girl starts school tomorrow morning. I knew that! It’s in my calendar … I checked to make sure… I forget a lot. I forget a lot.

The calendar reminded me of something. Yes, tomorrow is August the 10th. That seems so early for the school year to begin. Some schools have already started this week or even last week. A little sleuthing on the inter-webs taught me that a few systems even started in July! What’s going on? I remember the days when summer lasted until after Labor Day or at least until the end of August. It just seems to me the children are getting shafted out of big chunks of summer – a month or more in some places.

I checked on a historical hunch to confirm my own fading memory. I forget a lot. Ancient school calendars are somewhat rare so I couldn’t be picky with sources. I did find that, sure enough, in 1980 the Orange County (I didn’t bother with which Orange County) Public Schools started back the Tuesday after Labor Day – just like I remembered.

Further research revealed that there are still a number of systems that allow students to enjoy summer. These are mostly in the Northeast. I suppose there summers are shorter than most and so they let the kids enjoy it while they can. If I know anything about school calendar trends (and I don’t), then I suspect that more and more schools are starting earlier and earlier. At this rate, at some unspecified time in the future, American schools may only break for a summer weekend or maybe summer week.

Out of desperation I searched internationally. Scotland, England and Wales still start later in August (not sure about their calendar histories). Desperation turned to folly when I was forced to accept hemispherical adjustments. Due to the reverse of seasons down under, schools in Australia and New Zealand start back in January or February. Mind blown I returned to reality.

My little sweetie starts middle school (which used to be called JR. HIGH school!) tomorrow. I’m a little nervous for her or maybe for me. Maybe it’s a dad thing. Or a forgetful thing. I do know she’s looking forward to it all. Some of her old friends will be going to school with her, some won’t. She makes new friends easily; I know she’ll be happy. She’s also super-bright. We’ve never encountered any grade level changes that presented unexpected challenges (any challenges really); I suspect she could just as easily skip into high school (if it’s still called that).

She went to a terrific elementary school and this middle is top-ranked. It’s going to be a great experience.

I have been down on modern education on this site previously. However, there are decent schools out there. I just wished they started later than they do now. In my humble opinion school shouldn’t start until after Labor Day and should let out no later than just before Memorial Day. They should have a lot of breaks too. And shorter hours. Less homework. I’m a rebel.

Maybe a rebel without a cause. Maybe even a budding curmudgeon. Times have changed but I have not. Short summers. Four-cylinder engines. Remote controls. Mmmmmm. I hope my daughter has a blog some day so she can tell us why “daddy is wrong”. Unless, she turns rebel. One can only hope.

I realize I’m leaving off the entire subject of when schools are dismissed for summer break, now versus then. That will give me something to ramble about next year at the end of May … or is it the end of June?

An American Legend: The Wall Rug of Freedom

America, freedom, Perrin Lovett, wall rug

Over the past few years I’ve pared down my belongings considerably; everything I own will neatly fit inside my vehicle. My rule is: if I don’t really need it or if I haven’t used it in about six months, it needs to go. This cuts down on clutter and makes running from the law easier. I forget a lot of things so this also helps me not have more junk to worry about losing. A very few things, however, I hang onto in defiance of my better (?) judgement.

For instance, there is my beautiful bicentennial wall rug, that until today I had once again forgotten I possessed.

IMG_20160807_182256471 - Edited

I’ve had her for almost forty years. Only twice, for short periods of time, have I properly displayed this unique work of art. Most of its life has been spent rolled up in a closet. I do not need this item and I have not used it for years. Still, I absolutely love it.

Ain’t she cool. A bald eagle carrying the Liberty Bell pass “Old Glory”. I’ve seen very few physical objects that scream “America!” like this. I don’t just “America,” as used in everyday parlance; I mean A-MER-I-CA!!!!! as in Johnny Horton’s Johnny Freedom. Even the label on the back has a fascinating tidbit of history. This beauty IS history.

IMG_20160807_182415848.jpg

As with most pieces of my life, this one comes with a good story. I have no idea how I remember it but I do, almost vividly. When I was about two years old my parents took me to the Ethan Allen furniture store in Columbus, Mississippi. This was just after a big flood. They were trying to get rid of everything through sales and giveaways. One item up for raffle was my flag-rug. My dad was holding me and I got to reach into a hat full of pieces of paper with names on them. I pulled out “Lovett”. The rug was mine. I was so excited.

Oddly, I get the same feeling whenever I look at her. I got it this afternoon. There’s something so patriotic in this work; it stirs the soul. The cynic in me could say it reads like the tombstone of the old republic – 1776 – 1976. But I’ve never thought that. I see powerful imagery of what was and what could be again. A nation to be proud of. Of proud people. Strong people. Defiant freedom, as clear as a bell and swift as an eagle.

I’ve only seen one other of these rugs. It hung on the wall at my old barber’s shop until he retired. He and I had a lot in common, rugs aside. I sometimes feel like a visitor a few years too late – a time-traveling, freedom-seeking tourist in the wrong town or on the wrong day. He was the real thing, a holdover from the old America. The only other living man I knew (besides my father) with a real connection to Grit and Steel.

There are a lot of memories in this woven acrylic masterpiece stored away in the closet. One day she will grace the wall of my study, in the little cabin, high in the mountains, far away. Until then, she’ll just have to remain one of my legends.

Girls and Golden Guns

To hear the hysterical, lunatic left tell it, America is a war zone, constantly awash in violence and populated by the most deadly and dangerous people to ever live. Reality bears little resemblance although we are among the most heavily armed people on earth. Armed citizens and freedom are directly correlated. Thus, until recently, Americans enjoyed freedom as few have in history. Lately, things change. The guns are still here but the people have become obsessed with triviality. Stumbling around, looking for Pokemon, getting tattoos, eating sugar-fried fat with extra butter, worshiping at the false alters of television and political lies have all taken their toll on Americans.

Still, hope lives on. Virginia Thrasher, a nineteen-year old woman from Virginia, took the first gold medal in the Rio Olympics yesterday. She outperformed the world’s best in shooting – 10m air rifle. Thrasher thrashed her opponents, including two previous gold medalists from China.

2016-08-06T152614Z_2_LYNXNPEC750E3_RTROPTP_2_OLYMPICS-RIO-SHOOTING-W-10MRIFLE

Yahoo News.

Surprisingly, despite being so heavily armed, Americans have not dominated shooting sports as one might expect. At least not in recent decades. Our shooters face tremendous competition from Europe, Russia, and Asia. American women have fared a little better than American men.

Ms. Thrasher credits her grandfather with sparking her interest in shooting; she began deer hunting in eight grade.

“I got my first deer and I liked the adrenaline of pulling the trigger,” she said.

She then joined her high school air rifle team and was recruited by West Virginia University, where she became a national collegiate champion as a freshman this year.

With her non-nonsense style, Thrasher seemed unfazed by her seasoned field and consistently scored in the 10 points target area over the 20 rounds.

Afterwards, she noted that she had not attended the Olympics’ opening ceremony Friday night and had instead gone to bed early for her Olympic debut.

Like all American shooters, Thrasher faced the inevitable question of what she thinks about gun control in the United States, a hot-button issue in this election year.

She responded matter of factly that the controversy over guns in America “really is just distracting from our sport, which is very different.”

She’s right about the disconnect between Olympic shooting and gun control. Even in countries with stringent freedom controls, shooting is still a sport. Some of those countries (France, China, etc.) excel on the range.

Her story is one of millions in the U.S. Yet, it highlights the importance of teaching our young, from an early age, the value and joy of firearms. My daughter first plinked with a bolt-action .22 at the age of eight. Fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and other elders must continue to instill in our children, boys and girls, the love of guns and shooting.

That way, young girls may continue to experience the thrill of the hunt and dream of world-class competition. The left can continue to dream too – a nightmare of their twisted imagination where criminals and terrorists are constantly at risk and an indomitable people resist tyranny through forceful freedom.

Congratulations, Mrs. Thrasher. Thank you for carrying on our golden traditions.

Trump is, I still think, in the game to win it – it’s in his nature. He’s rallying behind the “united party” BS so popular with those of purely party ideology (which really isn’t). Despite making fun of the crazed old pseudo-socialist from Arizona, Trump now endorses him. He also endorsed the embattled and useless Speaker, Paul Ryan. One big happy, big-government family.

On the same evening he sided with Ryan, Trump ridiculed the $400 Million ransom paid by Hussein Obama to Iran. And, ransom it seems it was; the hostages were held at the airport until the cash arrived. Trump seems to forget, or perhaps is unaware of, Paul Ryan’s $70 Billion Puerto Rican ransom to the banksters. Billion is more than million, Trump should know that much.

If the election only came down to ransom payments, one would have to pick between big and corrupt or big and corrupt.

Eric Peters notes that, whatever else he may be, Trump is not (yet) a murderer. All that is true but it must be remembered: Trump hasn’t had access to the game like Hillary of Hussein – not yet.

Judging by support for practical, corrupt politics as usual, there seems no difference between the GOP and the DNC offers. There never really is. Pick your poison. It’s still poison. I, myself shall refrain.

Speculation abounds that the Donald might be trying to throw the election to Hillary. Rumor is he doesn’t really want the office and he and the Clintons have been friends for some time.

I still think he’s in. It makes little difference either way. I’ve long said American politics has degenerated into a WWE (WWF for us seniors) carnival act. The Democrats and Republicans play “heels” and “faces” and then trade off as the scripted plot develops. Regardless of which side they’re on, the TV wrestlers all work for Vince McMahon and the overall goal is to keep fans watching and paying. It’s the same with the “two-party” system. The politicians all work for the banks and the goal is to get you watching (but not too close) and paying.

I’ve said and written that for years. Now, people on the Republican side are actually starting to mimic the Godfather of WWF fame.

Obesity in America: Startling Facts

Yesterday I announced a new book project in a nearly backhanded way. Being big is a big problem in America. I wasn’t making fun though I would like to cash in. That’s honesty. Here’s more honesty: we have a massive epidemic on our hands (and guts, thighs, etc.). A few of the facts:

overweight-rates-in-america

dukandiet.com

35% of Americans are obese. That’s 111 million people. http://stateofobesity.org/rates/.

Almost 70% of Americans are obese or overweight. 223 million. That’s a vast majority being vast. Id.

Rates of physical inactivity range from 16% in Colorado to 31% in Mississippi. Id.

Obesity is costing around $200 Billion! per year in medical care. Virtually all of this is preventable Id.

Obesity-related illnesses kill 300,000 people each year (the number could be closer to 500,000). WV Dept. Health and Human Resources.

One in five American deaths is related to obesity. Dr. Joseph Mercola.

Sugar, tasty as it is, is poison. Id.

Being overweight can lead to: heart disease; high blood pressure; stroke, diabetes, high blood fat; failing metabolism; cancer; osteoarthritis; sleep apnea; hypertension; gallstones – among many other problems. Nat’l. Inst. of Health.

While being “overweight” could be explained by an excess of water, bone, or muscle (or by being fat), being “obese” just means being overly fat. NIH.

As the majority of Americans are now overweight, being normal is now abnormal. This isn’t good.

Americans eat 20% more than they did in 1983. publichealth.org.

Americans spend over $20 Billion a year on diet schemes – they’re not working. Id.

Obesity has doubled in the past four decades and it’s getting worse. ADA. 70% and worsening. What’s next? 90%? 99%?

In a way these facts are indicative of the prosperity of America. We produce more food than ever. Food is easier to come by than ever. Activities are less demanding than ever. Government evil and cultural idiocy aside, life is better than ever. Even our poorest people (especially the poor) are overweight these days. That’s a historical anomaly among the human population. It’s proof of too much of a good thing, maybe.

I was among the ranks of the new normal for a long time. Too long. Too many wasted years. Getting into shape and staying there isn’t easy. It isn’t difficult either. We can reverse these trends.

Note: It came to my attention that more unsolicited political ads are running on my posts from time to time. At some point I will be halting this altogether (WP control ain’t cheap). Until then I’ve decided to counter those ads with some ads of my own. Here’s one:

Crisis is Opportunity: The Fattening

America, books, fat, fitness, obesity

So say the Chinese. I agree. That’s why I am happy to report that Americans are fatter than ever – and getting fatter year by year. Since the late 1980s the average American has gained 15 pounds – and not muscle.

There’s no doubt about it: Americans are getting heavier and heavier. But new U.S. estimates may still come as a shock — since the late 1980s and early 1990s, the average American has put on 15 or more additional pounds without getting any taller.

Even 11-year-old kids aren’t immune from this weight plague, the study found. Girls are more than seven pounds heavier even though their height is the same. Boys gained an inch in height, but also packed on an additional 13.5 pounds compared to two decades ago.

…

“We are not doing nearly enough to control and reverse the obesity epidemic and doing far too much to propagate it. This is another notice of that sad fact,” said Dr. David Katz. He directs the Yale University Prevention Research Center and is president of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.

The new statistics were released Aug. 3 in a report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics. The statistics for 2011-2014 are based on an analysis of a sample of 19,151 people who underwent medical examinations and were interviewed at home.

These are averages too. The ordinary people. More than two-thirds of all Americans are overweight and over one-third are obese (severely overweight and at risk of serious problems or death). Of the obese many are grossly obese. These are the behemoths one sees waddling around almost everywhere. They’re getting bigger too. 300 and 400-pounders are now very common and there is a growing class of hyper-heavyweights who flirt with four digit weights (some of them have TV shows).

Global_obesity_Fat_Americans_30_percent_of_world_s_human_biomass-1200x908

America: big-time pig-time. Nutritionreview.org.

How, one might wonder, is this good news, an opportunity? One, there is tremendous potential for a huge number of (huge) people to change their lives for the better. There’s a chance for happier and longer living. People literally have the ability to save their lives. For me, this means financial publication potential.

Several years ago I started a book about how I got back into shape. I posted several articles about my journey. Then I let it drop. I noticed there was already a plethora of books on losing weight and living healthy. I figured mine would be white noise. Now I’m not so sure. All those diet books, some of them really good, don’t seem to be working. More diet books than ever and yet people keep getting fatter.

I also noticed that weight-loss is one of the most popular and lucrative book categories out there. It’s right up there with romance novels, get rick quick schemes, and adult coloring books.

Part of my forth-coming anti-terrorism book calls for people to get in shape; it’s hard to fight or flee while obese. Since I have so much of it already typed out and as if I don’t already have enough going on, I’m going to finish Perrin’s Guide to Fitness (title subject to change).

Look for it a little later in this year in Kindle, paperback and maybe even audio format. Enjoy your cheeseburgers and shakes while you can.

PS: my way is easy, fun, and self-rewarding!

Sharia: Satan’s Code Annotated

Khizr Khan offended just as many (if not more) Democrats as Republicans when he waved around a copy of the Constitution and uttered the “L” word – Liberty. The real shame is that the Greco-Roman-English law of the Constitution isn’t Khan’s preferred authority. It seems for years Khan defended and promoted Sharia law (in America). That would be the Islamic code which sanctions brutality against women, oppression and murder of gays, murder of infidels, jihad, bribes, and other savagery. Way to play to the base, DNC. Remember, Khan and his kind want this law, not where it originated and belongs, but in the West.

He isn’t now quite as fond of his law as he was of our Constitution last week. He deleted the website for his law firm which was dedicated to helping backwards heathens immigrate to and destroy America. Maybe with his site closed, he will remove himself back to Pakistan. Maybe the progressive left will follow him.

Non-Western immigration has all sorts of wonderful benefits for the dull, vanilla citizens of our nations. An America woman visiting London was blessed with the marvels of cultural enrichment; she was stabbed to death. Her attacker was merely carrying out the mandates of sharia and furthering the agenda of ISIS. Several others were injured. Once they recover I’m sure they will call for more immigration into England and the EU. In a way, it’s a shame the American woman had to travel so far to experience this delightful display of love and tolerance – we in the U.S. are so behind the times. Too many guns to be sure.

Confused witnesses initially blamed the murder on a chubby white man. Someone said they saw him with a knife. Personally, I would like to think perhaps a bystander took up arms in defense and was so identified (wrongly). Of course, an armed white man smacks of the patriarchy. No-one wants that. Luckily, the perpetrator was formally identified as a Somali man. His years of living in Norway and England did little to take the diversity out of him. Praise Allah.

You don’t see too many chubby white men in Somali. You do, however, see a lot of Somalis in America. So far they haven’t lived down to their potential. They’ve collected a lot of welfare, driven drunk, burned down some buildings (mostly by accident through not understanding how gas and electricity work), committed a few rapes, terrorized a Wal-Mart manager, and beat up a wimpy Trump supporter. When will they let loose with some real terror?

London and the rest of England join France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia in anxious expectation of the next diversity session. They won’t have long to wait.

Meanwhile, people in the UK can enjoy some of the side benefits of multicultural Caliphate-ization. They get to see really cool-looking SWAT teams roaming their streets. Eight-year old boys will be thrilled.

Armed officers on patrol in central London

Armed police prepare to deploy from Hyde Park, central London, as Scotland Yard announced that the first of 600 additional armed officers were trained and operationally ready, and unveiled plans to put more marksmen on public patrol. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Picture date: Wednesday August 3, 2016. See PA story POLICE Marksmen. Photo credit should read: Stefan Rousseau/PA Wire (Ain’t they cool!)

I am in the small camp of strange-minded people who don’t like my streets looking like war zones. I am none too fond of terrorists and invaders nor of the politicians and Satanic elites who drive them into our societies. You?

Some, but not nearly enough, people are getting fed up with this insanity. The time is coming. For now we can at least call it what it is. Just before he was murdered by savages Father Jacques Hamel called them what they are and instructed them accordingly: “Be gone, Satan!”
