England, ISIS, London, Perrin's First Law of Terrorism, terrorism

The (latest) London jihadi, of course, was very well known to authorities. They’d just released him (early) from prison.

This is the first picture of the terror suspect who was shot dead by police after two people were stabbed in Streatham, south London, earlier today.

Although the suspect has not been formally identified yet, DAC Lucy D’Orsi of the Met Police said in a statement tonight they are confident he was Sudesh Amman, 20.

Amman left prison just a matter of days ago after serving half of his more-than three year sentence, it is understood.

He was sentenced in December 2018 for possessing and distributing terrorist documents.

The then 18-year-old, who was described as ‘knife-obsessed’, was found with a stash of bomb-making and close-combat manuals – including one titled ‘How to Make A Bomb in Your Kitchen’.

Amman, from Harrow, Middlesex, also shared Al-Qaeda propaganda on a family WhatsApp group, exposing relatives as young as 11 to violent material.

The North West London College student shared bomb making schematics via Skype and an entry of a seized notebook allegedly outlined his “goal” to die as a martyr, a court heard at the time.

Half a sentence sounds reasonable. It’s not like he was Julian Assange or anything.

Knife Control Failure in London

Again.

Co-leader of the Green Party, Jonathan Bartley, 48, who heard the gunshots, told Sun Online: “I am absolutely shocked and devastated.

“I am in disbelief that this could happen in Streatham. “This is one of the most diverse, inclusive and tolerant communities in London.

“To have the police day so quickly that this is a terror related incident leaves a lot of questions about how this happened.

“A huge thank you to the police and emergency services who reacted so quickly, the fact they did so and the numbers that arrived raises questions for us I think.

“Did they know something? Was there some intelligence?”

Of course, per my first law of terrorism, they knew something, even if their intelligence is lacking. And, this is precisely what comes from diversity, inclusion, and tolerance. Now that BREXIT is done, now’s the time to start the deportations. That, or continue to be absolutely shocked and devastated.

The other Khan of London, the one who was under court order not to be there, went anyway. Is anyone surprised that this cat was less than enthusiastic about following the rules in the West?

THE London Bridge terrorist was banned from entering London but had a one-day exemption to attend an ex-convict event, it emerged last night.

Usman Khan, 28, from Staffordshire, was released from prison in December last year on condition he obey 20 strict conditions – which included not visiting the capital.

The NTA (like the NRA, but short for the “Narwhal Tusk Association”) is lobbying hard to divert attention away from the dangers of bridges and fire extinguishers. Where’s Jeremy Corbyn when we need him? Sentencing reform is what will say the UK! Well, that and more DIEversity. If only they’d added a 21st fantasy condition about not stabbing people to death and running amock with a bomb belt. For shame.

At least of the real, traditional variety. #NarwhalTuskControl and #FireExtinguisherControl don’t have the right ring to them. But, Aloha Snackbar!, what is needed after these revelations?

Scotland Yard is investigating how 28-year-old Usman Khan was able to launch the attack in London Bridge, despite being known to the authorities and fitted with an electronic tag to monitor his movements. He was allowed out a year ago after serving time for his part in a plot to blow up the London Stock Exchange.

In footage that has since emerged, Khan is sprayed with a fire extinguisher, while another man tries to suppress the assailant with a narwhal tusk – a long pointed tooth from a type of whale – lunging at him. It is believed the item was pulled from the wall of Fishmongers’ Hall, a Grade II-listed building on London Bridge, by a Polish chef called Łukasz.

I’m sure this Khan is unrelated to London’s other Khan, other than their sharing of common ideologies and hatred of all things British. And, imagine if, instead of whale tusks and fire-fighting tools, the Brits still had handguns (like the cops(!)), or at least knives. At any rate, it’s great to find at least a few who aren’t completely cucked, unlike their brave leadership – who will cuck and cave on this incident and related matters faster than you can say, “go back to where you came from!”

The Tall Bearded Man

So, London, how’s the knife control working out? Another familiar kind of attack:

The armed cops then order the members of the public to step away from the “tall bearded” man before he is shot by one of the firearms officers about 2pm.

A lorry was left jacknifed across the bridge as hundreds of panicked civilians ran for their lives.

Pictures from the scene showed one large kitchen knife lying next to the suspect’s body with a second blade removed by a hero passerby.

Guy Lawrence, 48, said he saw a man running out of a building, believed to be Fishmonger’s Hall, armed with two kitchen knives with 20cm blades.

He claimed one member of the public was seen running after the suspect, one armed with a 6ft stick and another with a fire extinguisher.

He told The Times: “I saw all traffic stopped in front of me. I heard shooting — there was an attack. And I saw a guy on the floor. I heard two shots: bang, bang.

“Police were running towards us and they told us to get out and run.”

Get out and run. Next time, the bomb may not be fake. Better ban them too. Or, just ban terroristic invaders. And, per the first law, just how many agencies was this attacker known too?

UPDATE: Of course. As Vox points out:

The attacker shot dead on London Bridge was known to police and had connections to terror groups.

The man, who was wearing a fake suicide vest, killed two people and injured three in the attack. The attacker was a convicted terrorist with previous links to al-Muhajiroun, the group led by Anjem Choudry and dubbed Britain’s “most prolific and dangerous extremist group”, The Independent understands.

The assailant had been recently released from prison and was being monitored by police.

Great job monitoring!

UPDATE: NARWHAL CONTROL, NOW!

When Credentialization Meets Reality in London

It’s the same in the US and in the UK: paper credentials count for everything, actual knowledge or experience notwithstanding. Nowhere is this more evident than in the education-industrial complex. Sometimes, hilarity ensues.

Teacher at Catholic London secondary school is suspended after it’s discovered he ‘CAN’T READ or write’

  • Faisal Ahmed was given the green light by teacher training program TeachFirst
  • This is despite having problems with reading and understanding ‘written tests’
  • Just days into his new job at St Thomas More Catholic school in Wood Green

These elite training programs (they’re all “elite”) serve as gatekeepers, holding back those who haven’t passed through the pedagogy wringer of some college Ed Department. They deter the driven and the otherwise knowledgable while failing to catch the illiterate. I almost hope this cat wins his lawsuit.

Standardized tests for the kids. Standardized certificates for the teachers. Standardized failure for society.

Maybe the Brits Could Try This?

Following attacks, Israel eases (already liberal) gun controls.

“Many civilians saved lives during attacks and, in an age of ‘lone-wolf terror’, the more trained civilians carrying arms, the higher the chances of thwarting attacks and minimising casualties,” Erdan said in a statement.

Under the new regulations, any Israeli who had extensive infantry combat training can apply for a gun licence.

Most Jewish Israelis must complete obligatory military service after they turn 18, but only a minority receive such training.

Police volunteers, medics and former military officers will also be eligible, the statement said.

Prior to the change, the main criterion for a permit — besides professions such as hunter or diamond merchant — was one’s place of residence.

Settlers or other Israelis working in the occupied West Bank tend to receive licences. It is common to see Israeli settlers in remote West Bank outposts openly carrying rifles.

Civilians saving lives. Why does that sound familiar?

They could try this in London if ever they tire of Khan, appeasement, and cultural suicide.

Assualt auto ban needed, again, in London. “Very sinister,” indeed.

This is what we know so far…

A car crashed into anti-terror barriers outside the Houses of Parliament at 7.40am

Three people have been hurt – but cops say none have life-threatening injuries

Witnesses saw a silver car “deliberately” travelling towards Westminster at 50mph

A man, in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of terror offences

Extra cops will now be stationed at key transport hubs across the country

Theresa May has praised medics and police for their quick response to the “attack”

And, what else do we know? Yep, as ALWAYS, the perpetrator will already be known to the authorities.

It’s much the same in Sweden, as the fires die down.

And tonight is one of the worst night for violence in recent history as police report multiple gangs of masked youths rampaging across three major Swedish cities, setting cars on fire in what seems like a coordinated action.

Probably just “women and children” “fleeing war” or some such. Certainly not a violent invasion.

More, sadly, to come.

Oops. Looks like there are still some Britons in Britain. London of all places.

They turned out in the thousands to hear Geert Wilders.

Then they sent the police state police running.

More than 1,000 Tommy Robinson supporters clash with police in London

Dutch far-right MP Geert Wilders, 54, attended and spoke at the protest

He was banned from Britain in 2009 only to get it overturned and says Robinson is a ‘freedom fighter’

EDL founder jailed for 13 months after admitting Facebook Live was contempt

Five arrests have been made at the protest and five police officers have reported injuries, none of which are serious

Supporters of Tommy Robinson have clashed with police at a Whitehall demonstration after hearing Dutch far-right MP Geert Wilders call for the English Defence League founder to be freed.

Rows of riot police blocked the gate down the Mall leading to Buckingham Palace where the Royal Family gathered on the balcony after celebrating Trooping the Colour just hours before.

These colours run.

What About That Free Speech?

Berkeley, England, free-speech, Khan, law, London, Trump

Sadiq, the Khan Man of London, encourages his tax enablers to protest Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to England. Says the Khan Man, “He will also no doubt see that Londoners hold their liberal values of freedom of speech very dear.”

That’s just not entirely true. Londoners may hold those values dear but, if they express them, they can be prosecuted. Feel the Wrath of Khan so to speak. Wrath of Scotland Yard rather.

I’ll encourage Londoners to protest but to refrain from making any comments deriding Trump’s color, race, religion, disability, ethnicity, nationality, or sexual orientation. Refrain from discussing his being American. No talk about “orange,” or “tangerine,” or even “white.” Refrain from mentioning his relations with Melania, Stormy, or who-knows-who-else. For God’s sake, no ridicule of his (real or imagined) disabled hair or hands.

Refrain or risk seven years in prison; see: The Public Order Act of 1986, § 3 (the NO MORE FREE SPEECH ACT OF 1986, as amended several times). Of course, I think the law is rather selectively applied, maybe not so much what your say as who you are.

What were we talking about again? Ah, yes – liberal values and free speech. The concepts seem a tad mutually exclusive, across the Pond, now don’t they?

Fear not! It’s not just spoliated across the Atlantic in the Old Country. That aged Anglo-American bond still holds in places and at certain times. Places like Berkeley (THAT Berkeley, the “free speech” place). Times like when Ann Coulter tries to visit THAT Berkeley.

Free speech is no longer free at UC Berkeley.

A federal judge rejected the University of California at Berkeley’s bid to dismiss a lawsuit claiming it discriminated against conservative speakers like Ann Coulter by imposing unreasonable restrictions and fees on their appearances.

In a decision late Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney in San Francisco said two conservative groups could pursue claims that the school applied its policy for handling “major events” and an earlier policy for “high-profile speakers” in a manner that unfairly suppressed conservative speech.

But the judge also said she was “unpersuaded” by claims by the plaintiffs that the school engaged in intentional viewpoint discrimination, and that the major events policy was too vague. She said the plaintiffs could not seek punitive damages.

Judge Chesney has to know that invidious doesn’t necessarily have to mean “intentional.” The Ninth Circuit surely knows as much.

Anyway, the speech at UCB – if allowed at all by the hordes of violent antifa shock morons – has gotten downright expensive. I think it’s $9,000 now to speak freely in the land where free speech was once actually free. (The flower children had little money and that little they spent on weed…).

I found no such similar fees attached to speaking at London colleges – not that I looked very hard. London College of the Arts, I think.

Interesting. A dichotomy? One could freely stand around Berkeley and call Trump the Marmalade President and do it for free, really free. One in Berkeley could also stand around and call Khan the Paki Mayor, so long as a fee was paid. In London, one could probably get away with the Trump slur, also for free. The Khan comment in London would likely see one off to HMPS Belmarsh or somewhere similar.

What was that about free speech again?
