The Nuclear Option: Highest Level of Gun Control Hysteria

In this video…

… one of the alarmed Mad Marxist Marchers asks, “If I can get an AR-15 what’s to stop me from getting a nuclear weapon?” Okay, I haven’t heard that one in a while. But I have heard it. I was asked the same thing about five years ago when I participated in a 2A panel at a college event.

The answers are several but, mostly simply, it’s: “price.” Price, you idiot. Nukes are too damned expensive for just about anyone this side of a nation-state to afford. My sources tell me that a single nuclear bomb, not including delivery system, prices out at around $200 Million. And that’s for an entity that already has a production system in place. A freelance warhead would range into the Billion$$.

I know these people are somewhat poor in the math skills department. So here’s the juxtaposition: AR-15: $500-$1,000-ish; Nuclear bomb: $200,000,000 – $5,000,000,000-ish. You see, if the Soros Fund or some similar riotous inciter pays you $15 per hour to show up for a protest, then after a few protests you could afford the AR. At that rate it would take over 13 million hours to buy the cheapest nuke. That’s over 6,000 working years, just a few more than most people can live to expect. Sorry that I couldn’t find a cartoon or pictorial or something.

And that price structure assumes a totally free market with no legal restrictions on WMDs. We kind of have the opposite of that. Given those who could potentially afford such weapons, that might actually be a good thing. All of this assumes one of extraordinary wealth could assemble a willing team of those experts required to build the bomb. It assumes one could locate the rather rare and pricey materials. It assumes a lot. Too much. It’s a non-starter.

Maybe, instead of chasing phantoms of utter ridiculous mania, these people could concentrate on the smaller and simpler aspects of life – like NOT trashing the areas where they protest. Their rights, not yours. Your responsibilities, not theirs.

nimbus-image-1522086876244

Take out the trash! And those signs.

Back to the nukes and the precious, all-knowing, all-giving Nations, maybe they’re not the best owners of such devices themselves. Only two nuclear bombs have ever been used in open warfare. I can’t recall, just now, who that was dropping them. Anyway, they were used to unnecessarily kill a whole bunch of civilians. Who marched for those lives?

And for about 40 years the US, USSR, Britain, France, and China went test happy with those very expensive assault-style bombs. Some scientists suggest the corresponding increase in world cancer rates might not have been coincidental. Hmmm.

Maybe running to the government for solutions isn’t the best idea. Sometimes, and not just in the sky over Japan, the government is least worthy of trust. Frequently the state is in bed with the very criminals the grabbers should be blaming for terrorism and mass shootings. Two years ago, after Omar Mateen struck a blow for Jihad in Orlando, I suggested his family had a history of involvement in state terror schemes.

Now, we have hard proof of that, courtesy of the “Justice” Department.

So, in brief: stop worrying about what can’t exist; stop attacking freedom; stop worshipping the state, and; clean up your acts!

Some will tell you the words “French” and “hero” do not go together in the same sentence. Then again, some will swill cheap beer and stare at fictions on a screen all day, thinking them real.

Maybe it’s the timing that’s funny. At around the same time a mob of Americans prepared to march for taking the freedoms of others away a Frenchman marched into a deadly hostage situation so that one other might be free.

Meet Arnaud Beltrame, and I really wish I could:

Lt-Col Arnaud Beltrame, 44, was shot and stabbed after he traded places with one of the captives following a shooting spree in southern France.

Flags are being flown at half-mast at gendarmerie bases across France.

His brother Cedric said Col Arnaud “didn’t have a chance”, adding that his actions were “beyond the call of duty”.

“He gave his life for strangers. He must have known that he didn’t really have a chance. If that doesn’t make him a hero, I don’t know what would,” Col Arnaud’s brother Cedric told a French radio station on Saturday.

Speaking to the BBC, Col Arnaud’s cousin Florence Nicolic described the officer as a person who was “so good at his job”.

“Even though we were surprised and shocked when we heard what happened we were not surprised in the sense that that’s the thing he would do without hesitation,” Ms Nicolic said.

I makes him a hero. God bless him.

France, and the West, needs heroes. Arnaud was murdered by Redouane Lakdim, ISIS soldier and import from Morocco (mercifully put down by Arnaud’s compatriots). He held up the supermarket in an attempt to free another ISIS terrorist, another import previously involved in the Paris Attacks. You might recall those. That was ISIS in France – not the NRA, kids.

France, Europe, Canada, America, et al, have a lot of these imports floating around and flooding in. They kill natives. Who marches for those lives?

Arnaud did. We need more men like him, somewhat in the mold of Charles Martel. More Beltrams, fewer Hoggs.

French hero. Héros Français. EPA/BBC.

Merci, Héros.

…

Thanks, Hero.

All is right in the Fifth Republic. With Marine Le Pen facing certain justice for her infidelic Tweets, life can go on as usual. Well, except for the continuing Supermarket  Jihad:

THE suspected ISIS gunman who was gunned down after killing three in a terrifying supermarket siege , according to police.

The attacker, named by police as 26-year-old Redouane Lakdim, screamed “Vengeance for Syria!” before shooting at cops in Trebes, south-east of Toulouse.

Police union official Yves Lefebvre confirmed Lakdim was killed moments after French President Emmanuel Macron said all evidence suggested a terror attack. The shooter had demanded the release of Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam.

The police had brought the hostage taker’s mother, who lives in Carcassonne, to the superstore to persuade him to stop.

“She’s gone to talk to him – to try and get him to drop his weapons, and give up,” said a source at the scene. “His sister is there too.”

Lakdim is understood to have fired six shots at off-duty police officers while they were jogging, leaving one with life-threatening injuries after shooting him in the shoulder.

What mom’s words failed to do police bullets accomplished in the end. A shame. Lakdim would have made an ideal juror in Le Pen’s case.

Remember, it’s not the supermarket murders we should worry about; the problem is the Tweets about the murderers.

SWAT Team seizes Marine’s hate Tweets.

Uber Bot Murders Arizona Woman in Street:

Uber Technologies Inc. halted autonomous vehicle tests after one of its cars struck and killed a woman in Tempe, Arizona, in what is likely the first pedestrian fatality involving the technology.

The 49-year-old woman, Elaine Herzberg, was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when the Uber vehicle operating in autonomous mode under the supervision of a human safety driver struck her, according to the Tempe Police Department.

After the incident, which happened at 10 p.m. local time on Sunday, she was transferred to a nearby hospital, where she died from her injuries. “Uber is assisting and this is still an active investigation,” Liliana Duran, a Tempe police spokeswoman, said in an emailed statement.

Translation: The woman was crossing the street, constructively in a crosswalk. The murderous Uber Bot decided to terminate her by inflicting mass trauma. HAL overrode the human safety driver and proceeded at full speed. The woman died as a result of the attack. Robots: 1, Humans, 0.

First they crushed the feet of tiny toddlers. Then the shoved their way through doors. Now they’re running people down in the streets. The little exploding insect-bomb bots will visit the mall tomorrow.

It’s war.

*Critical Note: A knee-jerk reaction would be to call for a legal ban on robots. As nice as that sounds in theory we have to consider the nature of the slimy beasts who purvey legislation. They might sell it as a ban for the safety of the human race; rest assured it would do the opposite – creating a virtual open season on us. (Probably with a hidden tax increase too).

Yesterday, in a headline for FP, I celebrated the departure of Rex Tillerson, former Secretary of State and the man who ushered in the brave new age of the Boy Scouts of America. But it’s really a mixed bag.

Tillerson never belonged anywhere near government power. His firing is a good thing. A liberal friend rightly pointed out that Trump has the highest and fastest rate of administrative turnover in history. It’s does look like disarray. Oddly, by his own list, leaving aside some major points (Obamacare, the wall, locking HER up, etc.), Trump is actually accomplishing his agenda. If it works…

However, with the cabinet positions, aides, and so forth, the turnover is a mixed bag. We seem to lose one deep state, globalist idiot only to have another step right in to take his place. Seems like it spreads.

The newly nominated Sec. State, replacing T-Rex, in the former Director of the CIA. Do we really want the head of secret police/paramilitary force representing us to the world? Might that not send a mixed message?

The new, nominated Director of the CIA is the former Deputy Director, Gina Haspel. If you’ve never heard of her, that’s probably because you watch America’s mainstream, lamestream, report no real facts media. Stop that. Get all your news and entertainment here!

Anyway, Gina is a career employee of the company, a former honcho for NCS, perhaps the most dangerous and unaccountable part of the deep state. The woman is “quite literally a war criminal.”

She ran the notorious CIA “black site” in Thailand. You’ve probably not heard much about that. It was (is) only one of the many places where the USA, beacon of virtue, engages in illegal torture of enemy combatants (defined as whomever the President says is…). This has been standard operating procedure under the current and past two administrations (Duuuuuuh-wa, no hope and no change, MAGA).

This practice and those like would, if conducted by any other government, constitute actionable offenses against humanity. There has been limited legal action already. The international community has little sway over the US with its thousands of operable nukes. And there is NO justice left in America’s courts. So, what sent Nazis to the gallows (on trumped-up, ex post facto charges and no due process at all), the US gets a pass on. Exceptionalism or something.

And, even honest CIA killers admit this hideous treatment of prisoners doesn’t work. Abu Zubaydah, in US “custody” for something like 15 years, with no rights, and no hope, was horribly battered and abused only to have it discovered he knew nothing and was not a threat. Still at Club GitMo though.

“Thems tarr-ists,” the unwashed roar, “who cares?” What part of “whomever the President says” don’t they get. It can be and has been US citizens.

I’ve been asking of late why Trump doesn’t apply such Draconian “justice” to the globalists, deep staters, and treasoners. Why not release the tortured, no threat, know-nothings, and make room for bankers, Congress Critters, judges, and people like Gina? You know, real threats who’ve actually done harm.

Instead Trump does the opposite, continually appointing rather than prosecuting.

And, back to this sh!t not working: the real terror threats are here, not out there in the sandbox or some other exotic locale. ISIS-inspired Corey Johnson comes to mind, if you look through the alternative media:

A 17-year-old named Corey Johnson claimed his Muslim faith commanded him to fatally stab a 13-year-old boy during a sleepover and severely injured another 13-year-old along with his mother who was stabbed more than a dozen times.

Palm Beach Florida authorities said the attacker confessed to the killing, attempted killings, and the motive of Islamic Jihad. After killing one teen and stabbing two more people Johnson barricaded himself in a room when police arrived. He was taken into custody at about 8 a.m. by the city’s SWAT team.

Palm Beach isn’t located in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, nor North Korea. And Johnson looks like a shaggy, disgruntled American everyteen. We don’t have to look that far for our boogeymen.

Platonically speaking, we’re passing rapidly from Democracy to Tyranny. Could we at least get a decent tyrant out of it, someone “cool?”

A young, perhaps idealistic, Greek woman learned the hard way why we of the West really can’t have solidarity with people who don’t care for us and only want to mooch and cause trouble.

It all started on the 2nd of October 2016, when the female victim and her boyfriend attended a solidarity event for refugees at their university in the city of Thessaloniki.

After the party, the student and her boyfriend were passing through the university’s yard, when suddenly three migrants attacked them with broken bottles and tied them up.

The immigrants forced the woman to perform oral sex and robbed her, while at the same time, only a few meters away, the solidarity event to support refugees was in full swing.

The Greek police managed to arrest 3 immigrants, aged 19, 22 and 29, from Algeria and Syria for the rape case. Inside the men’s apartment, the police found drugs, 5,500 euros in cash, as well as stolen jewellery.

I wonder if the young couple still feels the same way about welcoming terrorists and criminals into civilization?

Military Parity vs. Nonintervention?

Parity: not necessary in terms of quality or quantity. Effectiveness, rather. Things change.

This morning (pre-scheduling this on Thursday night) I read a take on the new nuclear super weapons Putin was boasting of the other day. They may be real. And that may be real bad. Dr. Donald Miller, Jr. explains.

Then this (Thursday) evening I saw something by Vox Day. It seems that even without 100 MT bombs and hypersonic deliver capabilities, an enemy learns, rather fast, to adapt to the conditions of war. Read Vox’s take on yet another take:

This points out two more very good reasons not to engage in unnecessary foreign wars. First, you’re implicitly training your enemy. The longer you fight him, the more he will learn. Second, if you compound your error by engaging in “nation-building”, you will usually find yourself literally and explicitly training your enemy.

Over time, opposing forces tend to become more and more symmetrical. This is the process that we are beginning to see, both in terms of tactics and the demographics of the militaries themselves. US military supremacy was always bound to erode, because no military, not even the Roman legions have ever remained permanently superior. But this increasingly observed tactical symmetry is a clear indication that the erosion is picking up speed.

Minding one’s business comes to mind.

Oh, and happy Saturday!

Pour les Français. (English below).

Americans, English, et al, take note:

In 2015 ISIS brutally murdered American James Foley, in Syria I believe. In November of 2015 ISIS agents in Paris carried out even more brutal attacks against the people of Paris. The Bataclan attacks, et al, 130 people murdered, hundreds more injured. Diversity with the emphasis of the DIE part.

In response to the Paris attacks Marine Le Pen, actually French and proud, posted pictures of the Foley murder on Twitter. She was equating the two attacks and criticizing French refugee and immigration policy.

Now, she faces charges:

French prosecutors filed preliminary charges Thursday against Marine Le Pen for tweeting brutal images of Islamic State violence.

The prosecutor’s office in the Paris suburb of Nanterre said the charges were issued for “distribution of violent images.” If the case eventually reaches trial and she’s convicted, Le Pen could face up to three years in prison and a 75,000-euro ($90,000) fine.

Le Pen’s December 2015 tweets showed executions by IS extremists, including the killing of American reporter James Foley. She posted them in the wake of the November 2015 IS attacks on Paris, accusing the government of not doing enough to protect France.

Le Pen told BFM television Thursday “it’s clearly aimed at silencing me. Yet I will not be silenced”. Le Pen said she would consider a potential conviction as a “medal of patriotism and defense of the French people.”

I love her, if only for her heroism. But maybe, just maybe, it’s misplaced.

Any country that would willingly import savagery, suffer the consequences, refuse to elect someone who would fight and reverse the tragedies, and then prosecute said heroic woman for daring to draw direct analogous truth from the matter… might not deserve to exist any more.

Now it’s entirely likely that Mrs. Le Pen, another Le Pen, or some other modern day Charles Martel will rise up in the next electoral cycle or two and save France. But this institutes a horrible precedent.

And, varying laws aside, it’s not limited to France. Something to think about. Maybe without Tweets.
