I don’t recall ever hearing so much about gun control as now. “Common sense” gun control. “Reasonable” gun control. “Hunters don’t need…” It’s coming from the usual sources: The Coalition to Stop Freedom, the Democrat Party, Tide Pod-eating millennial students, the American Pravda. And, now, we’re getting it from: Republicans, The Trump, DELTA, Dick’s Sports, and Walmart.

Some of the hysteria I could almost understand. I am solidly against gun violence, any violence, really. But I’m also against lies, tyranny, and communism.

So, here’s a reminder of who currently favors gun control along with some historical supporters (it’s all about the company one keeps/list in not all-inclusive):

Michael Bloomberg;

Diane Feinnstein;

Barry Obama;

Adolf Hitler;

Pol Pot;

Donald Trump;

Chuck Schumer;

Mao Zedong;

Adolf Eichmann;

Hillary Clinton;

Bill Clinton;

Chipper Jones;

Joseph Stalin;

Karl Marx;

Some actors paid millions to “kill” with guns on screen;

Saddam Hussein;

Vladimir Lenin;

Idi Amin;

Robert Mugabe;

Sarah Brady;

Benito Mussolini;

Nancy Pelosi;

Francisco Franco;

Matt Damon;

Abraham Lincoln;

Rick Scott;

Kim Jong-Il;

Kim Jong-Un;

Muammar Gaddafi;

Fidel Castro;

Slobodan Milosevic;

Chiang Kai-shek;

Kim Il-sung;

Ho Chi Minh;

Nikita Khrushchev; and

Hideki Tojo.

Sure, some of them murdered a few hundred million people but their hearts were (are) in the right place. It’s common sense, really.

The truth is part and parcel with common sense. Tomorrow I’m running a video and a list of gun/murder stats at FP which is intended to interject a little truth into the current mass hysteria. I’ll copy a link here, then.

It will also feature largely into Prepper News Weekly tomorrow.

See you then, comrades.

Trump set off a firestorm, yesterday, with comments, or a question (which he kind of disavows now) about where our immigrants come from. I thought the question articulate, if a bit vulgar, and if he asked it.

Anyway, the answer to this “why” is the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, one of the most evil legislative items ever foisted upon the people. Vox Day on the origins and effects:

Ted Kennedy illustrates why third-generation immigrants should not ever be permitted to govern or even vote in his deceitful argument for the 1965 immigration act.

First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same…

Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset… Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia…

In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think… The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.

They have to go back. They ALL have to go back. It is no longer up for debate. The post-1965 mass immigration policy was entirely based on lies and misrepresentations, and 50 years on it is clear that global migration has destroyed America, the largest invasion in human history has severely weakened the United States, and if a significant portion of the post-1965 immigrants and their descendants are not repatriated in the next decade, they will cause the complete collapse of the Union, violent ethnic conflict, and a civil war of unprecedented magnitude. At this point, the Yugoslav option may be the best possible outcome; the Czechoslovak option appears to be already beyond reach.

Listen to the warning of an American Indian. The dirt is not magic and it will not remain yours once you permit foreigners to settle on it. And rest assured that your descendants, if you have any that survive, will curse your incredible stupidity and short-sightedness, which is of epic historical magnitude.

The media, the UN, and other vehement anti-Westerners have taken the novel (never heard before!) approach of calling Trump a “racist” and a “Nazi.” Hmmm.

Now, other truths aside, here’s an examination of what passes for the white, European natives of modern America:

BLOODY VIOLENT Inside the bloody world of hardcore wrestling…

Yeah, read that again and ponder how much worse it could actually get. It can (and will) get worse, but Lordy…. ‘Murica…

Paradise Papers Demonstrate how the Elite Hide their Assets

This must be just like bankin’ in paradise
And I don’t send the taxes home.

-My apologies to David Lee Roth…

The second largest data leak in history, the Paradise Papers, shows how the truly wealthy avoid paying taxes.

The world’s biggest businesses, heads of state and global figures in politics, entertainment and sport who have sheltered their wealth in secretive tax havens are being revealed this week in a major new investigation into Britain’s offshore empires.

The details come from a leak of 13.4m files that expose the global environments in which tax abuses can thrive – and the complex and seemingly artificial ways the wealthiest corporations can legally protect their wealth.

The material, which has come from two offshore service providers and the company registries of 19 tax havens, was obtained by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and shared by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists with partners including the Guardian, the BBC and the New York Times.

The project has been called the Paradise Papers. It reveals:

Millions of pounds from the Queen’s private estate has been invested in a Cayman Islands fund – and some of her money went to a retailer accused of exploiting poor families and vulnerable people.

Extensive offshore dealings by Donald Trump’s cabinet members, advisers and donors, including substantial payments from a firm co-owned by Vladimir Putin’s son-in-law to the shipping group of the US commerce secretary, Wilbur Ross.

How Twitter and Facebook received hundreds of millions of dollars in investments that can be traced back to Russian state financial institutions.

The tax-avoiding Cayman Islands trust managed by the Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau’s chief moneyman.

A previously unknown $450m offshore trust that has sheltered the wealth of Lord Ashcroft.

It’s how Apple hides $252 Billion!!!! from the tax man.

They reveal how Apple sidestepped a 2013 crackdown on its controversial Irish tax practices by actively shopping around for a tax haven.

It then moved the firm holding most of its untaxed offshore cash, now $252bn, to the Channel Island of Jersey.

Apple said the new structure had not lowered its taxes.

It said it remained the world’s largest taxpayer, paying about $35bn (£26bn) in corporation tax over the past three years, that it had followed the law and its changes “did not reduce our tax payments in any country”.

One assumes that these elites and giant organizations earned the money, most of it. It’s theirs. Wanting to keep as much as possible is understandable: 1) it’s theirs, and 2) they can use the money to grow the economy. Otherwise, if taxed, the money gets spent on subsidies to ag. companies, bombing brown people, and compensating bankers for the most important kind of nothing.

The hypocrisy (and shock) comes in when one realizes these are usually the same types that rig the system for their own benefit, leaving the rest of us to pay the bills. And our paying isn’t enough. They lecture us. Regulate us. Rule us.

Carlin, Carlin, Carlin, Carlin: “It’s a Big Club. And You ain’t in it! You and I are not in the Big Club.”

I foresee this changing little, if anything. Heck, forget I brought it up. And God help whoever brought this to light. The last such intrepid reporter was car-bombed.

Trump, the CIA, and JFK

CIA, classified files, conspiracy, government, JFK, lies, The People, Trump

The full release of all remaining classified files could come on Thursday. Or, it might not.

My question is, “And?” Or, maybe its, “So what?”

Jason Hornberger predicts that something will remain hidden or redacted: a pretty good prediction:

“Subject to the receipt of further information, I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened.” (Italics added.)

The operative words, of course, are: “Subject to the receipt of further information….”

What is going on here?

Negotiations. The art of the deal. The CIA desperately does not want to show the American people its long-secret JFK-related records. It has asked Trump to continue keeping at least some of them secret notwithstanding the passage of more than 50 years since the Kennedy assassination.

Under long-established custom and tradition in Washington, D.C., when someone asks someone else for a favor, the person who is in a position to grant the favor demands something in return. That’s where the negotiations between Trump and the CIA come into play. Trump wants something in return. We don’t know what — maybe laying off on the Russia investigation — but his announcement last Friday is obviously part of the concluding steps of such negotiations.

What Trump has done with his announcement is send a clear message to the CIA: “Give me what I want and I’ll give you want you want. Otherwise, I will let all your cherished long-secret records relating to the JFK assassination be shown to the American people.”

Make no mistake about it: A deal is about to be made. The CIA will cave. It will end up giving Trump whatever it is he wants. Trump is in the driver’s seat because the CIA cannot afford to permit the American people to see the records it wants to continue to be kept secret. And once the CIA gives Trump what he wants, he will cave and give the CIA the continued secrecy it so desperately needs. All this will happen by this Thursday, the date set by law for release of all the JFK records that Trump has not blocked.

Think about it: The CIA has asked the president to continue secrecy of records that are more than 50 years old or, apparently, some relating to secret correspondence between the CIA and the Assassination Records Review Board back in the 1990s.

The CIA’s ground? “National security” of course, the two most important and meaningless words in the American political lexicon.

National security? Really?

Whatever definition that one might put on that nebulous term, no reasonable person can honestly believe that the release of 50-year-old records are going to result in the United States falling into the ocean or even that the communists are going to take over the federal government.

The CIA says that releasing its decades-old JFK records will reveal secret “methods” of intelligence gathering.

Really? What, like the CIA was using typewriters instead of computers and pay telephones instead of cell phones?

What is amazing (or not) is the extreme nonchalance of the mainstream media to the CIA’s request for continued secrecy. That should be big news. It’s essentially an admission of guilt, given that it is absolutely ludicrous to think that “national security” would be threatened by the release of the CIA’s long-secret JFK-assassination-related records.

Does any of this really matter anymore? Another question of mine: “What if?”

What if the files reveal the CIA was directly behind the assassination (with or without a second shooter), acting on behalf of the central bankers, with the Cubans as a convenient cover? What if the dream conspiracy turns out to be fact? Then what?

Nothing is what. None of the surviving conspirators (if any) would be rounded up and tried for treason. The CIA would not be disbanded. The Fed would continue stretching the economy beyond the point of no return. The media would say little. The people would care less – if they even noticed.

This, assuming it happened to be true, might have been Earth-shattering in 1977. In 2017 it’s a non issue, behind the Kardashians’s latest … whatever.

How many CIA and other government programs have been revealed to be criminal deceits? What’s one more?

I’d like to see all the information, good, bad, or ugly. But, whatever I’m looking for, a change isn’t it.

SJW Seeks “One Logical or Practical Reason” for Guns

Not that he would understand either logic or practicality.

Following the mass shooting in Las Vegas the Amerikan Sovinformburo has swung into high gear. Ban the guns! (Ban the private guns – government guns, as everyone knows, have never killed anyone. Trust us.)

An example: the local fish wrapper in Tampa ran a panic editorial piece yesterday: Las Vegas massacre cries out for response.

…

Paddock reportedly had 19 rifles with him at the hotel. Experts said the rapid gunfire sounded as though it came from automatic weapons, which are heavily regulated, or from semi-automatic weapons altered to keep firing with one squeeze of the trigger. Law-abiding citizens have no need to carry such firepower, and magazines that hold 30 rounds or more only make it easier to take more innocent lives.

The death tolls in these mass shootings are escalating at a rapid pace in recent years, and they are occurring in places that are part of the natural fabric of life. A movie theater. An elementary school. A university campus. A nightclub. Now an outdoor country concert attended by more than 20,000 people. There are again remarkable stories of heroic efforts by first responders and by citizens helping the injured and guiding the terrified to safety. But this time, there is no talk of how more guns could have saved lives.

The issues Congress should address are well-known: Ban assault-style rifles and limit the size of magazines. Expand background checks on guns purchased in so-called private sales, such as gun shows and over the Internet. Make it more difficult for people with mental health issues to buy guns. Flag anyone attempting to purchase a gun who is or has been under investigation for terrorism by any federal agency.

…

Hear that? You have no need for assault weapons. A propaganda organ newspaper says so. No need. And contrary to the experience of more than a few of you using larger magazines to fight off multiple attackers, those mags are only good for taking innocent lives. (Makes one wonder why even the government needs them, then.)

They may (or may not) finally have the angry white male shooter of their dreams. And, they may be correct that guns on the ground would not have made any positive difference – at least not the variety normally toted CCW. One size fits all, based on this (and only this) case.

No mention of the TN church shooting stopped by a good guy with a gun. Certainly no mention of who and what the shooter there was. No mention period. Like it never even happened. The other 1-2 million firearm defenses each year don’t happen either.

And they kind of slipped, I think, by throwing in the other recent high-profile shootings: those committed by ISIS soldiers, immigrants, and MK-Ultra descendant patients. No mind. Never let the truth get in the way of good communism.

And, for Gawd’s sake, never mention the 488 shooting murders in Chicago during the first nine months of this year alone – nor the 1,000’s of attendant non-lethal but illegal shootings. No Chicago. No Baltimore. No Atlanta. No LA. No Miami. Nor any of the other rapidly deteriorating third world ghettos. Those lives must not matter. Those gun laws certainly did not work. The possibility that something other than the inanimate guns themselves might cause the evil must never be consider or even mentioned.

We know three things about SJW types:

1) They always lie;

2) They always double down; and

3) They always project.

Here’s the prelude to a living example: “Brutus813” (likely not a real name) wrote the following comment on the Tampa editorial:

Ok with all due respect here. To the people who don’t think banning Semi-automatic weapons and large capacity magazines is a good idea please give me one logical or practical reason for anyone other than police or military to have them. You can’t use them for hunting so that’s a no. I am not against people owning handguns for self protection and grew up in a hunting community so even though I don’t hunt I am fine with the true hunters owning their hunting rifles. Just one good reason for semi-automatic(which can be converted to automatic) and large capacity mags please.

nimbus-image-1507062220824

Tampa Bay Times.

They lie: “Brutus” effectively says what they all say: “you don’t need guns.” A lie demonstrated by 1,000,000+ logical reasons. I’ll give him his one in a moment.

They double down: Nationwide they’ve reached the Nth degree of downs. In his one paragraph alone Brutus gives us: “other than police or military” and “can’t use them” – a lie and a doubling down within consecutive sentences. Impressive.

They project: These people are unstable. Deep down inside they know that they should never be trusted with guns – not personally nor through their beloved government agents. They’re the type of people who ultimately beget gulags, concentration camps, and killing fields. To sooth themselves psychologically, they project their dangerous deviance onto everyone else.

One logical or practical reason for anyone other than police or military to have them? Because the police and military have them. You’re welcome. With all due respect here.

There is that remote, yet possible chance that a government goes rogue. It happens every now and then. The police and military have been known throughout recent history to load unarmed citizens onto box cars and murder them. Little things like that. If it got bad enough even our government might someday: regulate everything under the sun; tax people’s’ incomes; steal property; send American kids off to war for profits; bomb foreign kids for profit; ban the possession of “short” lobsters – whatever the hell those are; destroy the healthcare industry; turn Congressionally mandated monetary policy over to a private corporation; facilitate the wholesale invasion of the USA, or; even stage false flags events just to ban guns or justify more war profiteering. It’s crazy, I know. But it could happen; they could become tyrannical. Knowing that I’d rather keep the martial odds at least nominally equal.

Mind you there is no interest in logic or practical application or respect with the anti-freedom crowd. No notion of history. No regard for liberty, responsibility, or real safety. And they have no consistency either.

The Times talks about people on terror watch lists. Yet these same kinds are prone to sue to halt bans, however minor, on the importation of terrorists. When any non-white, male, dream terrorist commits a crime, they immediately tell us that the event is in no way representative of the larger community (usually Muslim). They may be right. Why then, do they immediately assign blame for any narrative-conforming attack to all gun owners and freedom lovers? Bigot much?

A few of these folks are decent people – people who actually want to solve real problems. That’s good as we have more than a few of those issues around us. The rest of them literally have mental deficiencies which go beyond mere functional mid-wittery. Cut into their heads or run a CT scan and one finds their brains are actually deformed physically. They may deserve sympathy and even help. They do not deserve to dictate terms.

That’s logical and practical.

Money, Debt, and … Questions

First, median incomes in 2016 set an all time record. Rather, they beat out (or caught up to) those from 1999. Hooray! We’ve only lost two decades of growth. And incomes, recall, are usually the last thing to catch up – before a new correction.

One of the first things to go up and one which goes up fastest … is new government debt. See: the Instantaneous manufacture of $317,645,000,000 worth of new debt in one day! It’s a miracle! Thanks to Congress and the Prez. for the temporary spending boost on the way to infinite and perpetual indebtedness.

For the latter story you can thank the government and their pet, the Federal Reserve. The Fed was one of three marvels foisted on the formerly free people in 1913.

Speaking of foisting – yesterday was the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I was a little busy and, therefore, this will likely be my only remembrance note this year. (Unlike last year – see Sept. 2016 archives).

Just in time for the anniversary, engineering expert Dr. Leroy Hulsey and his research team released a study of the collapse of WTC Tower 7.  It’s kind of part one of the study anyway. He (they) have some questions about the official narrative.

You may recall that the ninth plane (from Toronto) hit WTC 7. The impact and resulting conflagration caused substantial weakening of the steel frame inside the tower (much like WTC 1 and 2), which caused a complete (and VERY neat and self-contained) collapse.

I completely made that last paragraph up. No plane hit No. 7. There was only a small, office-material-fueled fire (with temperatures insufficient to melt or weaken steel). And the fire almost burned out long before the collapse – maybe around the time the media was parroting that the tower had collapsed, even as it stood in the background of their live broadcasts.

Not many believe the “official” story about No. 7 or anything else that day, not even members of the Commission impaneled to investigate it. This study sheds a little light with more to come. See if you will.

Paul Craig Roberts on the gullibility of Americans and those ever so happy to lie to them:

The false reality constructed for Americans parallels perfectly the false reality constructed by Big Brother in George Orwells’ dystopic novel 1984.

Consider the constant morphing of “the Muslim threat” from al-Qaeda to the Taliban, to al-Nursra, to ISIS to ISIL, to Daesh with a jump to Russia. All of a sudden 16 years of Middle East wars against “terrorists” and “dictators” have become a matter of standing up to Russia, the country most threatened by Muslim terrorism, and the country most capable of wiping the United States and its vassal empire off of the face of the earth.

Domestically, Americans are assured that, thanks to the Federal Reserve’s policy of quantitative easing, that is, flooding the financial markets with newly printed money that has driven up the prices of stocks and bonds, America has enjoyed an economic recovery since June of 2009, which must be one of the longest recoveries in history despite the absence of growth in median real family incomes, despite the growth in real retail sales, despite the falling labor force participation rate, despite the lack of high value-added, high productivity, high wage jobs.

The “recovery” is more than a mystery. It is a miracle. It exists only on fake newspaper.

…

Chasing and creating phantoms while the economy rots.

And of the economy, rumors circulate that Trump will soon make it four in a row at the Fed’s helm:

President Donald Trump is increasingly unlikely to nominate Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen next year for a second term, four people close to the process said.

National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn is now the leading candidate to succeed Yellen as the world’s most important central banker, these people said. Yellen begins two days of congressional testimony on Wednesday, and her own future in the job may come up in questioning.

If Trump taps Cohn for the Fed, it could enrage economic nationalists in the White House and some staunchly conservative Republicans on Capitol Hill who don’t like the former Goldman Sachs president’s background as a Democrat who generally favors free trade.

And it would spur a backlash from progressive lawmakers who have blasted the president for picking multiple Goldman alums to run economic policy.

While the departure of Aunt Janet would be a great thing, her replacement by the former president of Goldman does not induce that warm, fuzzy feeling.

The best thing about Cohn is that he isn’t a credentialed economist – those have been dead wrong about everything for the past 100+ years. Otherwise, this will be the fox managing the henhouse.

But, hey, it’s now less than two months until football season…

The Death of American Television News

America, CNN, culture, Elmo, Fox News, lies, news, television

I’m getting around to that survey of American distrust of institutions, to include the televised news. That particular industry is utterly dead and gone. Someone should bury or burn it before the flies start breeding.

They have three kinds of stories now: laughable lies; outrageous lies; and acid-trip crazy lies. It’s all fake news.

The other night I watched Fox for a minute. They were lying about Syria. Something about bombing (based on a lie, built on other lies). At least the legs network still trots out real human beings to support the fantasies – John Bolton, Newt, Nikki Haley, etc. Things are even worse at CNN.

Meet CNN’s new expert on global “refugee” resettlement:

nimbus-image-1498675737078

Henson rolls in the soil. Children’s Failed Workshop…

ELMO.

F*cking Elmo… Elmo, the retarded, red menace, cartoon puppet from a well-past-prime children’s show, is now a guest contributor to CNN’s “news.”

Not kidding:

Fake News Network / YouTube.

Someone should have stepped on Elmo when Robert D. Raiford suggested the same in 1998. It’s time to do it do it with the “traditional” news. In little more than a generation we’ve gone from Walter Cronkite to Mr. Noodle’s deranged little neighbor.

It’s a wonder there’s any trust left at all. Turn off the TeeVee and smash it with a hammer.

Janet Yellen Channels Her Inner Pinocchio

banks, economics, economy, Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, lies, recession

This stuff writes itself.

Fed Chair Janet Yellen said Tuesday that banks are “very much stronger” and another financial crisis is unlikely anytime soon.

Speaking during an exchange in London with British Academy President Lord Nicholas Stern, the central bank chief said the Fed has learned lessons from the financial crisis and has brought stability to the banking system.

…

She also made a bold prediction: that another financial crisis the likes of the one that exploded in 2008 was not likely “in our lifetime.” The crisis, which erupted in September 2008 with the implosion of Lehman Brothers but had been stewing for years, would have been “worse than the Great Depression” without the Fed’s intervention, Yellen said.

I think I know what “no crisis like 2008 in our lifetime” means. The poor woman must be terminally ill. That or maybe she/they know the next one will be worse than 2008.

20140129Jay_image002

Kitco.

“Had been stewing for years….” Maybe that’s why, as the article later pointed out, it caught the Fed completely off guard.

I do like her giving the Fed credit for preventing the Greater Depression. Rich.

The Fed, if you recall actual history, prolonged a downturn, a recession, into the Great Depression of the 1930’s. They have experience wrecking the economy. And it’s really too soon to tell about the Greater Depression, although I’ve seen stats from two economists that show the 2008 crisis was every bit as bad as that of the 30’s and that we have yet to recover from it.

Wait! Now I know what she means. She knows the 2008 crisis never really ended. Therefore its continuation this year or next coupled with a new worsening crash technically won’t be another crisis – it’ll be the same one.

That or she’s sick.

Thoughts and prayers.
