The End of Obamacare?

There’s no doubt the ACA is finished. It’s bankrupt; it doesn’t work; its killing coverage; the coverage afforded is basically unusable; doctor’s are fleeing; insurance companies are abandoning entire states; and, of course, it’s found nowhere in the Constitution outside the overactive imagination of John Roberts (not that that one matters). The question is how will it go out. And what will take it’s place?

President-elect Trump dropped some hints as to his coming answers:

President-elect Donald Trump said in a weekend interview that he is nearing completion of a plan to replace President Obama’s signature health-care law with the goal of “insurance for everybody,” while also vowing to force drug companies to negotiate directly with the government on prices in Medicare and Medicaid.

Trump declined to reveal specifics in the telephone interview late Saturday with The Washington Post, but any proposals from the incoming president would almost certainly dominate the Republican effort to overhaul federal health policy as he prepares to work with his party’s congressional majorities.

Trump’s plan is likely to face questions from the right, after years of GOP opposition to further expansion of government involvement in the health-care system, and from those on the left, who see his ideas as disruptive to changes brought by the Affordable Care Act that have extended coverage to tens of millions of Americans.

In addition to his replacement plan for the ACA, also known as Obamacare, Trump said he will target pharmaceutical companies over drug prices.

“They’re politically protected, but not anymore,” he said of pharmaceutical companies.

One wonders how “insurance for everybody” will be paid for. Trump is likely to face a greater fight from his own party than from the opposition. The Democrats should technically be okay so long as continued coverage for the “poor” is promised (no-one cares about delivery, it’s the thought that counts in D.C.). And the GOP has murmured about changing the law but keeping those dreadful taxes – even as they contemplate mind-blowing debt increases in the near years to come.

obamacarebattlemgn

NBC News.

Another huge problem will be the insurance industry and the medical community. They will not go away quietly. And they will join forces with the big-pharma racket. Nothing about repealing or replacing this monster will be easy. But change has to come. Barring massive, massive subsidies, the program as is, is finished.

Fred Reed recently mused on the fact that the much-maligned, socialist single-payer system found in some other countries is preferable to what we have now. And he’s right. Single-payer would cost less overall and would likely deliver much better results. But, recall that delivery doesn’t matter in D.C. Due to the stigma, the potential loss of control and profits for the insurance cabal, etc., and the lingering collective remembrance of freedom, socialized medicine is not going to happen in America. No time soon, at least.

The Austrian, the anarchist, and the capitalist in me fully believes that a completely unregulated, free-market system is by far the best alternative. It’s one we used to have and is still found in a few small places around the world. It worked – too well for the government and their corporate handlers. It will never return.

So “free” medicine, the best solution, and socialized medicine, a distant second-best, are off the table. That leaves things in between them and what we have now. And what we have now is the worst possible in the developed world. It’s really little better than no care at all in many cases. In some cases, it’s actually worse.

What we’re probably going to end up with is a compromise. Something dead in the middle that will last a few years or decades and then need another massive overhaul. I wish Trump (and all of us) well but I remain optimistically pessimistic.

As is, I’ll try to stay healthy and avoid any contact with any medical system. That’s what I recommend for everybody.

Deport Congress … Now

Republicans have long had a unique use and calling in politics – to cave in and go along to get along – no matter the subject. Now, they can add to their useless reputations the nuance of stabbing Americans in the back as hard as their feeble, bloated arms might allow.

Donald Trump got elected last year in part because Americans are sick of their borders being overrun by law-breakers. They want some semblance of the old country back. They want illegals removed. Candidate Trump said he got it. President-elect Trump may still get it. Paul Ryan, who would lose a popularity contest to D.C. sewer rats, will never get it.

Congressional Republicans are working with the Trump transition team on a solution for immigrants brought illegally to this country as kids, House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday.

Hundreds of thousands of these immigrants gained temporary protections and work permits from President Obama. While campaigning for president, Donald Trump promised to undo those protections, putting the immigrants at risk of deportation, although he said last month he hoped to “work something out” to help them.

Ryan didn’t detail what Congress and Mr. Trump would do about the program, called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. But when questioned on a CNN town hall by a woman who identified herself as a DACA recipient with a young daughter, Ryan told her he did not want to see her deported.

“I can see you love your daughter, you are a nice person who has a great future ahead of you, and I hope your future is here,” Ryan said.

“What we have to do is find a way to make sure that you can get right with the law, and we’ve got to do this in a good way so that the rug doesn’t get pulled out from under you and your family gets separated.”

Host Jake Tapper pointed out that Mr. Trump, during the campaign, promised a “deportation force” to round up the more than 11 million immigrants in the country illegally. Ryan dismissed that idea.

“I’m here to tell you in Congress, it’s not happening.”

Instead, Ryan said Mr. Trump has asked lawmakers to focus on two priorities with respect to illegal immigration: securing the border and deporting immigrants who are violent, repeat criminals.

House GOP lawmakers and aides have also said recently they’re working on how to pay for border security to make good on Mr. Trump’s promise of building a wall on the border with Mexico, although at least initially taxpayers would foot the bill – not Mexico, as Mr. Trump promised.

DACA has extended work permits and temporary deportation relief to more than 700,000 immigrants brought illegally to this country as youths since its creation in 2012. Mr. Trump has said it and other Obama executive actions are unconstitutional, since they involved going around Congress, a position Ryan repeated Thursday.

DACA permits need to be renewed every two years, so Mr. Trump could cancel out the program over time by ordering agencies to stop processing new applications and renewals. There is high anxiety in immigrant communities about what he will do.

“We have to figure out how to have a humane solution to this very legitimate, sincere problem and respect the rule of law,” Ryan said.

Why build a wall at this point? Why secure the borders? Why even have laws or a play-pretend facade of a nation? Based on the foregoing, the only reason I can come up with is to give jobs to the otherwise unemployable like Ryan.

This is the legacy of the package of total lies known as the Immigration Act of 1965. It’s in the spirit of the GOP/Reagan betrayals of 1986. The former was not going to change anything. The latter was a one-time, never-gonna-happen-again solution (a cave-in). Yet here we are in 2017 facing more lies and more caving. And back-stabbing.

I ask my Republican-voting friends, how can you support this gang of liars and thieves? Dear Democrat friends, please do not smirk; “your” team is right beside and behind the GOP traitors.

nimbus-image-1484352266681

Speaker Ryan startled (like a cockroach) when someone turned on the lights. Chip Somodevilla / Getty.

Fine. I offer a “humane solution to this very legitimate, sincere problem”: deport Congress. The Dreamers, the criminals, the terrorists, and the welfarians can stay. Just give us 535 deportations. Deport Congress. All of them. Now. January 20th will be fine. Where? Anywhere that isn’t the U.S. I suppose the open ocean or Antarctica might do. Space, possibly.

Trump could accomplish this with a single Executive Order and a battalion of Marines. And there is legal precedent for it: see the strange case of Clement L. Vallandigham (D-Ohio).

They just have to go. Pick any illegal alien and you’ve automatically found someone more American that any of our Congressional trash. It’s really time to take it out.

Stupid is as Treason Does: Republicans Plan Massive Debt Increase

Thank God for conservatives. Or not.

WASHINGTON
Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have been adamant – the federal debt is way too high and has got to be tamed fast.

Cruz, a Republican from Texas, helped lead the 2013 fight against raising the debt limit, a fight that resulted in a partial government shutdown. Rubio, a Republican from Florida, in announcing his plans for this year, said Tuesday that “one major thing that will cost us jobs and hamstring our economy is our rising debt.”

So why did they and 49 other Senate Republicans vote this week to consider a measure that says the “appropriate levels of the public debt” would rise from the current $20 trillion to $29.1 trillion in 10 years? And predict deficits of $1 trillion by the end of that period?

Because, they said, it’s the first procedural step in repealing Obamacare. And they insisted the number is meaningless.

The Concurrent Resolution of doom.

debt-monster

I agree the number is meaningless. It’s far too rosy. In 10 years the debt will likely be $45 – 50 Trillion (on books, that is). Still, these Republicans are meaningless and useless too.

One hopes Mr. Trump knows that “veto” is the “you’re fired” of legislation.

Repeal and Replace but Keep the Taxes (of Course)

My first substantive post here regarded Obamacare. It is as much a taxation scheme as it is a corporate welfare measure and a vote-buying apparatus.

The same worthless GOPers who didn’t stop the Act from becoming law have, for years now, blathered on about repealing and replacing it. They haven’t of course though they have had a considerable amount of time and ample evidence for the cause. One Donald J. Trump was recently elected president in small part based on his promise to amend or abolish the system. “You’re going to have the best healthcare,” he said.

114272_6001

Rick McKee.

A flat-out repeal isn’t going to happen. The free market is simply no longer an option in America. As Fred Reed recently pointed out, the dreaded socialist single-payer system is now probably cheaper and more efficient than what passes for healthcare in the U.S. That won’t happen either.

What likely will happen is more of the same communist/corporatist BS we have endured for the past 50 years. The programs may change a little but the effect will be just as it is now: lousy and expensive third-rate care. The insurance and medical cabals will continue to profit. The government will continue to justify its pointless existence. You’ll continue to pay.

And, of course, now that it comes to it, the same useless GOP is contemplating keeping the associated taxes even as they monkey with the law.

Congressional Republicans are considering holding off on repealing some of ObamaCare’s taxes, according to lobbyists familiar with the discussions.

GOP lawmakers on the House Ways and Means Committee discussed the possibility of keeping some of the taxes in place during a retreat last week at the Library of Congress, the sources say.

Even if some of the taxes are not removed as part of the initial repeal bill, it does not necessarily mean they will remain indefinitely. Some ObamaCare taxes could be dealt with as part of a larger tax reform bill later in the year.

Still, there is at least a possibility that some taxes could remain in place to provide revenue for a replacement healthcare measure.

Discussions are still in flux…

A while back, defending his embattled signature work, Obama said, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” He was lying and he knew it. Now it’s Trump’s turn and the GOP’s. Doctors aside, I like my money. Might I keep my money?

The President: Election Day 2016

Today 538 Americans decide who becomes America’s 45th President. Following your suggestions last month, he should be Donald Trump. We should know the results soon. And the election should be certified by the end of the month.

Hillary and the Democrat Party elite, along with the GOP elite, and the B-listers of Hollywood have tried to stage a coup. Emails, letters, videos, and death threats have been employed in an attempt to sway Electors to not vote for Trump, even if bound so by law. So far they’ve only reached the mind of Chris Suprun, compromised patron of Ashley Madison.

download

Suprun, Elector of conscious, dubious 9/11 “hero” and bankrupt philanderer. Politico.

To be successful, the elites need 37 Electors to jump ship. Then, the election would move to Congress, much as it was under the Articles. There, one of two things would happen before January 20th. Either the members would follow you and the presumed E.C. majority and elect Trump. Or, they would pick a GOP elite, like Jeb Bush, and commence America’s second Civil War. Kind of gives new meaning to “vote or die”, eh?

We’ll know the outcome shortly. Happy election day!

So, this morning I droned on about Washington and the Russians (Russians my not actually exist in this context). I ended by saying an investigation would give Congress something to do other than pass more laws we could live without. Too late.

government_of_evil28-1

The House has passed and the Senate is considering the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, H.R. 5077. Of course, a rider proposition in or behind the Bill is aimed at the Ruskies.

Paul Craig Roberts (who I almost worked with on a story once) sees dire consequences:

The faked news report from the imbeciles at PropOrNot, which was hyped by the fake news sheet, WaPo, claiming that I was a Russian agent was supposed to do my credibility harm. Instead, the 200 List told everyone where they could get good information, and my readership went up. Moreover, I almost got a Russian passport out of it. But before sending it along, Putin checked with Russian intelligence and was informed that I am not on their roster.

The rumor is that if the House intelligence bill passes with Title V intact, those of us on the PropOrNot list could be called before congressional hearings in a replay of McCarthyism. If they waterboard me, I might break down and implicate Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Jim Baker, David Stockman, and all the rest. The evidence against us is pretty strong. Trump is suspect because he wants peace with Russia, and so did Reagan. From the standpoint of the Hillary forces and the presstitutes, anyone who wants peace with Russia is bound to be a Russian agent.

The way the presstitutes have framed the issue, there are no legitimate reasons to be for peace.

If Putin and those of us on the 200 List are the ones who actually got Trump elected, shouldn’t Putin or The List be Time magazine’s person of the year and not Trump? After all, if Putin and I did the work, shouldn’t we get the recognition? Why give the credit to the stooge we put in office?

Why is Time magazine showing those of us responsible off into the background?

Eureka! Time magazine is also a Russian agent and is covering up for us by giving Trump credit for our work. Whew! I won’t be waterboarded after all.

He may or may not be kidding here. Title V is as real as the rest of this legislation. (You did click the link to H.R. 5077, right?)

Ah, well. Here’s the esteemed Mr. Altucher (who won’t answer my texts) on Doing What You Love (the key is flexibility):

Transitions are the key.

There’s no such thing as, “I love this and then, A, B, C and success happens.”

There’s no Beginning, Middle, End, where “End” equals success. That rarely happens. Maybe it happened to two people in life. Larry Page and Bill Gates. Two out of billions.

I wish I was Larry Page. Maybe I am jealous of him.

Here’s how it happens:

END. Bitter End. Horrible End. Confusing End. ‘WHY? and END.

MIDDLE. Confusion. Fog. “What do I do now?’ Ideas, depression, fog, bad idea after bad idea and then finally good idea.

In the middle, you take the old, you tweak it, you try it in different ways. You work it.

…BEGINNING. The seeds planted for many new things. All generated as a combination of your ideas and your past loves.

Success. Repeat.

Congress, politicians, violence

The great election of 2016 is barely past and tensions run high across America. All in all it seems to be going pretty well.

Today tensions also ran high in Ukraine. A “radical” party member caught it hot from a member of the opposition, being punched in the face. His detractors accuse him of working for or with Putin. We saw similar accusations a week or two ago in America without the fisticuffs.

nimbus-image-1479150285639

Zing! Pow! RT / YouTube.

Watching this exchange jarred my memory. There was a time when Congress was a little more interesting. We even had a cane fight once in 1856.

Charles Sumner of Mass. was lambasting something about Kansas. In doing so he insulted a House member from South Carolina. This offended another South Carolinian, Preston Brooks. Brooks then assaulted Sumner, breaking his cane over his opponent’s head. He then had to be restrained and drug off.

The House fined Sumner $300 for this offense. Sumner returned a week or so later, okay if a little quieter.

Uncivilized? Yes. But it is all more than a little manly. And it’s a bit refreshing to see men still willing to fight for what they believe in. If we’re going to pay these clowns, we might as well get a little entertainment out of them. CSPAN could run a pay-per-view MMA show in the evenings.

I wouldn’t necessarily watch it but I’d support it. Heck, I already pay the taxes.

I Think The U.S. Government Wants A War With Russia

Or enough of them do to cause a mild concern.

I was thinking about a pleasant little fun article on fall getaways, now that autumn is finally here. I’ll get to that directly. However I think maybe trying to avert nuclear war is just a little more important.

The Whitehouse, the Congress and the Pentagon are run by the goddamdest bunch of homicidal, lunatic, idiotic fools ever hatched.

The U.S. is fighting a soft, undeclared war in Syria. The details are purposefully murky but it seems we are backing various terrorist organizations aligned (sometimes) with rebels fighting the Assad regime. As usual the motives behind this war are: keeping Tel Aviv happy; helping the military-industrial criminal complex turn a profit, and; helping Satanic banksters print fortunes out of thin digital air. A side benefit is that the war displaces and angers people, giving Washington and its European fiefs importable terror ammunition in their greater war on their own peoples.

The problem with this “splendid little war” is the Russian element. The Russians are backing Assad for their own reasons and are intent on stamping out radical Islamic terrorists. Their reasons for involvement are: stopping the spread of terrorism to Europe and Russia (kind of important) and; maintaining stability in the region where Russia has trade interests (Assad may not be the nicest guy but he does hold things together – or did until the U.S. started meddling). The U.S. interests are the four I cited above. Which one benefits you?

The U.S. and Russia reached a cease-fire agreement in an attempt to work out issues and end the war. Washington immediately violated the terms by bombing a national military convoy – a move supporting ISIS. The U.S. does this on a weekly basis. The same ISIS that shoots gays in Florida, stabs Christians in Minnesota, and bombs the handicapped in New York. Putin has concluded the people in and around D.C. are beyond insane and not trustworthy with a water gun. He may be on to something.

The new lie in D.C. is: We didn’t do it! Russia did. All the evidence points to the DOD/CIA but the fabrication points to Putin.

The American projectionist fantasy loonies are out in force:

At the U.N.:

The US accused Russia on Sunday of supporting “barbarism” over the bombing of the Syrian city of Aleppo as the west stepped up diplomatic pressure on Moscow.
Accusing Russia of supporting a Syrian regime offensive that has derailed a ceasefire agreement negotiated between Washington and Moscow, Samantha Power, US ambassador to the UN, said Russian and Syrian forces were “laying waste to what is left of an iconic Middle Eastern city”.

In a blistering speech to an emergency UN Security Council meeting, Ms Power said: “Instead of pursuing peace, Russia and Assad make war.”

While Moscow was likely to argue that it was pursuing terrorists in Syria, she said that “Russia is espousing fiction”. “What Russia is sponsoring and doing is not counterterrorism; it is barbarism,” she added.

This is the Ivy-League, Irish, Anti-American, delusional, puesdo-academic, political hack of a harpy calling the traditional, Western Civilization defenders barbarians. It’s like the pot calling the kettle black only that the pot is smoking pot and the kettle is an intelligent, responsible government bewildered by the brazen stupidity of the pot.

It’s worse in D.C., where Defense Criminal Ash Carter and Marine Corps Crony Joseph Dunford met with the Arkham Asylum Committee of the Senate. The low-rent discussion centered on the recent bombing and cover-up lies.

Both of these tax-paid morons admitted they “had no facts” about the convoy bombs. However, they were armed with a healthy dose of neurotic fantasy.

“‘Not only our people – our defense industry partners, too, need stability and longer-term plans to be as efficient and cutting-edge as we need them to be,’ Carter told the senators.” How nice of him to think of the MIC at a time like thi$.

Carter, as crazy as any I have ever heard of, responded to the prissiest Senator in Washington, Lindsey Graham, that “the Russians are responsible for this strike whether they conducted it or not…” Whisky Tango Foxtrot? Again, those facts things…

Dunford, feeling left out of the madness, piped up about a “no-fly” zone: “Right now… for us to control all of the airspace in Syria would require us to go to war against Syria and Russia.” A war with Russia. From the same people who couldn’t beat nine lightly armed goat-herds in Afghanistan. Brilliant! Dunford effectively made the argument that D.C. is a “no-thought” zone.

Stirred out of his angry stupor Sen. McCain argued we could impose a zone without war. He has direct experience with the subject, having himself so deftly navigated such a zone in war previously.

One thing no one talked about is that America has absolutely no business in Syria whatsoever. None. Well, no legitimate interest. Sure banks and our defense industry “partners” need some more money. Sure we do get jihadi shooters in the women’s department at Macy’s. People get killed there and here. But are these really worth our time? Worth our lives?

we12

Duck and cover is retro cool!

It would be one thing if this were another Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya. It’s not. “War against Syria AND RUSSIA!” Russia has nukes and the ability to get them to America in a hurry. They’re conventional forces ain’t too shabby either. These reasons have long prevented war with Russia. However, today, there is a new breed of stupid on the Potomac.

For more information, see Fred Reed’s analysis of the situation: Hillary, Trump, and War with Russia: The Goddamdest Stupid Idea I Have Ever Heard, and I Have Lived in Washington.

There really is no point in contacting “your” elected officials. They’re not yours and they’re crazy besides. “Your” two presidential choices each offer more of the insane same. Bought and paid for.

You’re only choices are: 1) write a letter to Putin and plead for his understanding; 2) build a fallout bunker in Idaho; 3) pray that the Lord deliver us from this nightmare and these reprobates.

Or you could just keep you’re head in the TeeVee. Keep watching overweight, low-IQ, millionaire felons who hate you play with a ball.

PS: A preview of my fall recommendations: the mountains, the mountains, the beach, a sea-side villa, and the mountains. The younger males among you might plan a trip to Syria if things go ill.

Someone Is Protecting Saudi Arabia

On Friday Hussein Obama issued the twelfth veto of his career.

President Obama on Friday vetoed legislation that would allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S courts, setting up a high-stakes showdown with Congress.

“I recognize that there is nothing that could ever erase the grief the 9/11 families have endured,” Obama wrote in his veto message. “Enacting JASTA into law, however would neither protect Americans from terrorist attacks nor improve the effectiveness of our response to such attacks.”

Obama’s move opens up the possibility that lawmakers could override his veto for the first time with a two-thirds vote in both chambers.
Republican and Democratic leaders have said they are committed to holding an override vote, and the bill’s drafters say they have the support to force the bill to become law.

The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) unanimously passed through both chambers by voice vote.

That means every member of Congress (both houses and both parties) voted for it. Members of the President’s party were just as enthusiastic about the law as Republicans. Why then did Obama shoot it down?

It has long been suspected that Saudi Arabia (and possibly other countries) gave support to the 9/11 terrorists. The Commission impaneled to investigate the attacks found some supporting evidence though their actions were constantly blocked by the Bush administration. A large chunk of their report was classified. When released this year the classified papers were still heavily redacted though they suggested Saudi involvement.

The danger of a lawsuit for the Saudis and maybe the administration (Obama, Bush, and perhaps even Clinton) is that the discovery process might reveal the details of the previous obstruction and redactions. There would be no way to compel the Saudis to comply. However, legally, certain questions and requests, if unanswered, could be deemed answered nonetheless in favor of the plaintiffs.

Did your government give material support to Muhammad Atta?

No answer.

The court deems material support was given to Atta by the Defendants.

Did Saudi Arabia act in concert with Washington to facilitate the attacks?

See how that works?

Such revelations might lead to the truth. And that is something the owners and special interests do not want.

obamaveto

Free Republic.

It would be amazing that, after almost never vetoing any legislation, Obama choose this one. It would be except we’re talking about the most corrupt administration since the last one.

Vetoes historically are difficult to override. There is a small single-digit percentage rate of success against them. The fact that the Congressional votes were unanimous and the scalding nature of this issue may help. We may know as soon as this week.

How Many Lies and Deceits Before a Government Loses Credibility?

Tomorrow is the 15th anniversary of 9/11. The memorials (and celebrations) have already started. Most local observances are relatively honest; they focus on the loss and the valor of the day. The national spectacle is only concerned with furthering the evil agenda of the elite and in keeping the people brainwashed into accepting mythology as reality.

It may not be working. Paul Craig Roberts notes that an increasing number of Americans, many half even, are now skeptical of the official state lie about 9/11. They are joining the ranks of scientists, military and intelligence experts, and those who were actually there in questioning the narrative. The causes given (glossed over really) for the attacks are under new scrutiny also.

The leading publication for the European physics community has already determined the official mechanical explanation for the demise of the WTC is an impossibility. Indeed the official story has become the conspiracy theory. Many want Congress to launch a real investigation.

Those who expect honesty from the House and Senate forget that those entities are owned by certain masters. There will be no new inquiry. There’s too much money at stake now for the truth, as Eric Margolis points out:

Since 2015, the US has dropped at least 32,000 1,000-2,000 lb. bombs on Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan – all Muslim nations. US bomb inventories are running critically low as arms makers work overtime.

9/11 was a revenge attack conducted by mostly Saudi nationals who claimed they wanted to punish the United States for supporting Israeli oppression of Palestine, and for what they claimed was the US ‘occupation’ of Saudi Arabia.

That’s as much as we really know. We have never gotten the full story about 9/11. The best we can do is ask “qui bono,” who really benefitted from the attacks?

The bombs are somewhat expensive – a Mark 84 costs Uncle Sam about $3,200 – but the real money is in commodities and finance. Most wars are fought strictly to make money for banks.

One wonders where the money will come from in order to keep this insanity going. Well, from the printing press, obviously. But how long can the charade continue? America is worse than bankrupt. Here’s a look at the growth of U.S. debt since the days of Reagan.

screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-19-59-53

And that’s just on-books debt. The true extent of the bankruptcy is much, much worse. So much worse, in fact, that it really can’t be calculated anymore. There is no way to determine how many Trillions (tens of Trillions) of dollars the government is destroying for the banksters.

America’s currency and financial conditions are as obliterated as the official lies behind the modern wars. This leaves aside other policy circuses, foreign and domestic. They are as bad if not worse. How much of this is needed before absolute failure is recognized?

Anyway, on a brighter if blander note, today appears to be college football pud day. You’re team may put up 70+ points. Then again, LSU and MSU last week put a little conspiracy in that theory too.
