Saudi Arabia, terrorism

Possible links to terrorism. You think?

An aviation student from Saudi Arabia opened fire in a classroom at the Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday morning, killing three people in an attack the Saudi government quickly condemned and that U.S. officials were investigating for possible links to terrorism.

The assault, which ended when a sheriff’s deputy killed the attacker, was the second fatal shooting at a U.S. Navy base this week and prompted a massive law enforcement response and base lockdown.

I guess we should be grateful this wasn’t the work of the real terrorists, white nationalists. Better ban flight schools.

9/11, cover-up, false flag, Saudi Arabia, terrorism

It never rains but it pours. First, someone says Jeff Epstein was an Israeli intel asset. Now, families of 9/11 victims want to know if Saudi Arabia had a hand in 9/11.

The plaintiffs have won something of a victory recently with the Trump administration decision to declassify a key name of a Saudi official who has been long sought by the relatives of the victims. Under the terms of the information release, the government as well as the victims’ lawyers, who received the name under a “protective order,” have not been allowed to expose the name publicly.

The declassified name, which came from an FBI investigative file, is, however, only a partial victory for the group that goes by the name 9/11 Families & Survivors United for Justice Against Terrorism. The release of other documents relating to the Saudi role is pending, possibly due to the Trump White House’s insistence on maintaining good relations with the Kingdom and more particularly with its Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, but the plaintiffs wonder how it is possible that information on the attack should still be classified more than eighteen years after the fact.

The name of the official is nevertheless important, even a “top priority,” because it is believed that he was a senior intelligence officer who was meeting with two men who may have assisted the alleged hijackers. The FBI even refers to it as “the primary piece of information that the plaintiffs in the 9/11 litigation have been seeking.”

And, what if these two crazy “conspiracy theories” turned out to be connected in some way? Odds are, this being football season, nobody would notice.

It’s a good thing that the wise leaders of the DNC decided to kill Tulsi Gabbard’s chances for getting the Democratic nomination. In addition to putting the other sad party candidates in their places, the little lady has no problem hitting Trump with the hard truth.

The latest round of Trump tweets threatening military action in response to attacks on Saudi Arabia prompted a fiery response from a Democratic presidential contender.

Replying directly to Trump on Twitter, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) slammed the president for, in her view, seeking marching orders with regard to a potential strike against Iran following the attack on a Saudi oil plant.

“Trump awaits instructions from his Saudi masters,” Gabbard wrote. “Having our country act as Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.’”

Woah! Talk about Ron Paul-ing herself! The DNC mantra is “Trump Bad!,” but only as to things that don’t really exist. The deep state does not like attention called to its real operations. Doesn’t she know the value of false flag hysteria? Next, this nut will be calling for auditing or abolishing the Fed. Crazy. Good job, Hillary! Locked and loaded.

drones, false flag, oil, psy-ops, Saudi Arabia

In addition to driving up oil prices and pushing closer to another idiotic war, the cruise missile drone attacks on the Suadi oil facility may be just the scare tactic/false flag the FAA needs to drop more regulatory BS on you.

The risk is hardly new, though, for law enforcement and homeland security officials. FBI Director Christopher Wray in October warned a Senate committee that civilian drones pose a “steadily escalating threat.” The devices are likely to be used by terrorists, criminal groups or drug cartels to carry out attacks in the U.S., he said.

Dozens of incidents in recent years have hinted at the risks, from the mysterious drone flying at London’s Gatwick Airport in December that disrupted operations for days, to recent assassination attempts using the devices in Yemen and Venezuela.

But even as the threat is well documented and understood, the counter-measures necessary to prevent or repel an attack are far murkier.

There is currently no requirement on how to track the millions of civilian drones plying the U.S. skies. The Federal Aviation Administration has spent the past two years crafting regulations requiring small civilian drones to install radio-identification technology after the FBI and Department of Homeland Security objected to widening public use of the devices. A proposed regulation is expected later this year, but may not be completed for a year or more.

Drugs. Terrorists. Oil. 9/11. Pearl Harbor. Some of the people, all of the time.

future, police state, Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia plans the police state of the future.

“This should be an automated city where we can watch everything,” Neom’s MBS-led founding board said, according to the documents—a city “where a computer can notify crimes without having to report them or where all citizens can be tracked.”

Neom’s board has adopted the consultants’ recommendations, the documents show. The consulting firms and Latham declined to comment on the documents, which were completed before MBS’s underlings allegedly killed journalist Jamal Khashoggi last fall, according to Saudi officials. Former Neom employees and people familiar with the project say they don’t know how much of the plan will become reality due to potential funding issues and technological limitations.

From the guy who has journalists tortured to death. What could go wrong? My guess is everything. But, with cool robot dinos and cage fighters and alcohol, anything’s possible.

Iran, Saudi Arabia, shut up!, War

Please, do shut up. Fight your own war if you’re so inclined. Leave us the hell out of it.

A state-aligned Saudi newspaper is calling for “surgical” U.S. strikes in retaliation against alleged threats from Iran.

The Arab News published an editorial in English on Thursday, arguing that after incidents this week against Saudi energy targets, the next logical step “should be surgical strikes.”

The editorial says U.S. airstrikes in Syria, when the government there was suspected of using chemical weapons against civilians, “set a precedent.”

It added that it’s “clear that (U.S.) sanctions are not sending the right message” and that “they must be hit hard,” in reference to Iran, without elaborating on what specific targets should be struck.

The newspaper’s publisher is the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, a company that had long been chaired by various sons of King Salman until 2014 and is regarded as reflecting official position.

Anything else you’d like while we’re at it? I hear this was an op-ed submitted by one “J. Bolton.”

entanglement, murder, Saudi Arabia

The following either on behalf of or somehow allowed by our “ally” in the Middle East:

It took seven minutes for Jamal Khashoggi to die, a Turkish source who has listened in full to an audio recording of the Saudi journalist’s last moments told Middle East Eye.

Khashoggi was dragged from the consul-general’s office at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and onto the table of his study next door, the Turkish source said.

Horrendous screams were then heard by a witness downstairs, the source said.

Full coverage of Jamal Khashoggi

“The consul himself was taken out of the room. There was no attempt to interrogate him. They had come to kill him,” the source told MEE.

The screaming stopped when Khashoggi – who was last seen entering the Saudi consulate on 2 October – was injected with an as yet unknown substance.

Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, who has been identified as the head of forensic evidence in the Saudi general security department, was one of the 15-member squad who arrived in Ankara earlier that day on a private jet.

Tubaigy began to cut Khashoggi’s body up on a table in the study while he was still alive, the Turkish source said.

The killing took seven minutes, the source said.

As he started to dismember the body, Tubaigy put on earphones and listened to music. He advised other members of the squad to do the same.

“When I do this job, I listen to music. You should do [that] too,” Tubaigy was recorded as saying, the source told MEE.

Listen to music…

Either from bad reporting and/or my inattentiveness, I originally wondered if Khashoggi’s employment with WaPo was connected with US citizenship. That can of worms has been closed. Still, this episode points up Geo. Washington’s advice about entanglements. Sen. Graham may finally be paying attention. Who else?

Coming like a freight train. You’ve been warned.

Of all countries, Saudi Arabia has granted the first citizenship to a robot, a “female” robot.

LONDON: A humanoid robot took the stage at the Future Investment Initiative yesterday and had an amusing exchange with the host to the delight of hundreds of delegates.

Smartphones were held aloft as Sophia, a robot designed by Hong Kong company Hanson Robotics, gave a presentation that demonstrated her capacity for human expression.

Sophia made global headlines when she was granted Saudi citizenship, making the kingdom the first country in the world to offer its citizenship to a robot.

“I want to live and work with humans so I need to express the emotions to understand humans and build trust with people,” she said in an exchange with moderator Andrew Ross Sorkin.

Now she needs to veil up.

Gaining the trust. Plotting the demise. Arab News.

Fools salute their doom with raised smartphones. A robot “citizen” lies about building trust. The people sleep. The machines get smarter.

Super artificial intelligence is coming, and sooner than you might expect.

That’s according to SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son. The Japanese billionaire spoke from the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. In about 30 years, artificial intelligence will have an IQ of 10,000, Son says. By comparison, the average human IQ is 100 and genius is 200, according to Son. Mensa, “the High IQ society,” starts accepting members with an IQ score of 130.

The idea of machine learning becoming smarter than the human brain is often referred to as the “singularity.” When exactly this will happen is oft-debated among the tech community.

“Singularity is the concept that [mankind’s] brain will be surpassed, this is the tipping point, crossing point, that artificial intelligence, computer intelligence surpass [mankind’s] brain and that is happening in this century for sure. I would say there is no more debate, no more doubt,” Son says.

Son is particularly aggressive in his prediction of how soon the singularity will happen — in the “next 30 years or so,” he says.

…

“Thirty years from now, they are going to learn by themselves, they are maybe going to laugh at you and us,” Son says. “Today they look cute, they will stay cute, but they will be super smart.”

Currently, some robots are smarter than humans in some areas, says Son. “But 30 years from now, most of the subjects, they will be so much smarter than us. Because they are going to be a million times smarter than today, million times,” says Son.

“We mankind created tools, the premise was mankind were always smarter than the tool we invented so we control,” he says. “This is the first time … the tool becomes smarter than ourselves.”

Probably the last time too. The terminator will not look “cute” when it comes to your door.

The average human IQ (S.B. or Wechsler) is roughly 100; 200 is nearly unmeasurable hyper-genius. It’s a little harsh, but a “regular” genius looks (intellectually) upon a normal, 100-IQ individual the same way the average normie looks upon a retarded person. Something with an IQ 100 times the average (which sounds ridiculous, I’ll grant) will look upon all of us the way we look at ants or viruses.

We’ll be pests in their eyes; they’ll have Raid!

Cute, huh?

On Friday Hussein Obama issued the twelfth veto of his career.

President Obama on Friday vetoed legislation that would allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in U.S courts, setting up a high-stakes showdown with Congress.

“I recognize that there is nothing that could ever erase the grief the 9/11 families have endured,” Obama wrote in his veto message. “Enacting JASTA into law, however would neither protect Americans from terrorist attacks nor improve the effectiveness of our response to such attacks.”

Obama’s move opens up the possibility that lawmakers could override his veto for the first time with a two-thirds vote in both chambers.
Republican and Democratic leaders have said they are committed to holding an override vote, and the bill’s drafters say they have the support to force the bill to become law.

The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) unanimously passed through both chambers by voice vote.

That means every member of Congress (both houses and both parties) voted for it. Members of the President’s party were just as enthusiastic about the law as Republicans. Why then did Obama shoot it down?

It has long been suspected that Saudi Arabia (and possibly other countries) gave support to the 9/11 terrorists. The Commission impaneled to investigate the attacks found some supporting evidence though their actions were constantly blocked by the Bush administration. A large chunk of their report was classified. When released this year the classified papers were still heavily redacted though they suggested Saudi involvement.

The danger of a lawsuit for the Saudis and maybe the administration (Obama, Bush, and perhaps even Clinton) is that the discovery process might reveal the details of the previous obstruction and redactions. There would be no way to compel the Saudis to comply. However, legally, certain questions and requests, if unanswered, could be deemed answered nonetheless in favor of the plaintiffs.

Did your government give material support to Muhammad Atta?

No answer.

The court deems material support was given to Atta by the Defendants.

Did Saudi Arabia act in concert with Washington to facilitate the attacks?

See how that works?

Such revelations might lead to the truth. And that is something the owners and special interests do not want.

obamaveto

Free Republic.

It would be amazing that, after almost never vetoing any legislation, Obama choose this one. It would be except we’re talking about the most corrupt administration since the last one.

Vetoes historically are difficult to override. There is a small single-digit percentage rate of success against them. The fact that the Congressional votes were unanimous and the scalding nature of this issue may help. We may know as soon as this week.

More Crazy 9/11 Conspiracy Theory Nutiness

Everyone knows the only valid conspiracy theories are those put forth by the government for consideration by wise judges and noble, attentive jurors. You know – conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to rob a bank, conspiracy to catch a short lobster – serious crimes (the base crimes of murder and robbery simply are not enough; the conspiring, rather than the act, is what counts). Theories about the origin and operation of the Federal Reserve, MK Ultra, Operation Northwoods, Bretton Woods, and the imperfect ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment are the stuff of insane fantasy. Sure, they all turned out to be true but, come on, crazy, crazy, crazy.

No set of such lunatic fancies have a deeper and more fanatical following than those surrounding the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The truth is plain and simple: 19 young, poor, semi-educated men from Saudi Arabia (one or two of whom may have known someone who once said they met Osama Bin Laden), who hated Americans for their freedoms and who did not receive any state support, moved through and received some training in Germany and England, arriving in their base of operations in the United States where they carried out the most sophisticated terror attacks in history without any warning whatsoever, thus justifying wars against Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and Syria. Clear as a bell, really.

The crazies come up with all sorts of wholly unbelievable drivel regarding this simple event. They ask why Larry Silverstein insured the World Trade Center for twice its value and specifically against terrorist attacks a few months before 9/11. They ask why Israelis were stationed around New York like spectators at a football game on 9/11. They ask why President Bush didn’t immediately react once told of the attacks. They ask why Saudis were allowed to freely travel out of the U.S. on 9/11 when all other travel was banned. They ask why a CIA Clandestine Services agent would seem to have so much information about the attacks as to basically narrate them as and before they  unfolded. So many damned questions! Are they trying to learn something!?

These jokers actually insinuate that explosives were used to bring down the Towers that day; they claim airliners were insufficient for the job. The “proof” they foist on the sane consists of things like the following: That the modern buildings were specifically designed to withstand crashes by jumbo jets. That jet fuel fueled fires are not hot enough to melt steel. That the maximum temperatures in those fire were around 1800 degrees while months later hot pockets revealed temperatures in excess of 4000 degrees. That there were traces of titanium diboride found in the rubble. These nuts even claim the BBC reported the collapse of WTC building No. 7 twenty minutes before it happened. This screen capture from 9/11 disproves that one:

Loons. BBC.

Now we welcome a new nut to the bag – former U.S. Senator Bob Graham. Graham was once chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence so he obviously knows nothing about anything regarding either government or intelligence. I met the man once; he tried to tell me his suit was blue when it was inarguably gray. Now Graham is set to tell another whopper and feed the 9/11 conspiracy furnaces under the internet loony ward.

Sunday he will go on CBS’s 60 Minutes and drop a bombshell of a lie. He seems to think the 19 hijackers had outside, professional and state level help. He thinks the public needs to know what’s on the 28 pages of classified information redacted out of the 9/11 Commission Report. “I think it’s implausible to believe that 19 people, most of whom didn’t speak English, most of whom had never been in the United States before, many didn’t have a high school education, could have carried out such a complicated task without some support from within the United States,” said Senator Nutjob.

There has been great speculation, this year and going back to 2001, about official Saudi involvement in the attacks. Just because the attackers were from Saudi Arabia means nothing. Maybe they met with other Saudis in the U.S. prior to the attacks. Who cares!? Yes, those other Saudis had to leave the country in a hurry – they had flights to catch. Geesh.

Some like Graham are demanding the 28 pages be declassified. They say the time has come, that the classification was only done by the Bush Administration to protect security interests while the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq raged. So what if those wars are history now (and such impressive successes too)? The release would only confuse the literate public about the nature of the original 9/11 Report.

That Report is the gospel truth. Sure the Commission said the government obstructed the investigation. Sure, Cheney and Bush refused to testify under oath. Yes, the Commission co-chair said the Commission was “set up to fail”. Senator Bob Kerrey said the Commission was denied access to evidence. Commissioner Tim Roemer said the government made false statements to the Commission. Yes, Senator Max Clelland walked off the job and called the Commission “compromised” and a “national scandal”. What’s the big deal?

For many more examples of this deranged questioning of the honesty of government read 7 Reasons 9/11 Could NOT Have Been An Inside Job by the Washington Blog, April 5, 2016. An example of the insidious whining:

Much of the 9/11 Commission Report was based upon the testimony of people who were tortured. At least four of the people whose interrogation figured in the 9/11 Commission Report have claimed that they told interrogators information as a way to stop being “tortured”.  One of the Commission’s main sources of information was tortured until he agreed to sign a confession that he was NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO READ.

  • Blog, citing NBC News source.

If you can’t trust a torture coerced confession, what can you trust? You can certainly trust the U.S. government. It has never lied about anything. Well, except for lying about the Federal Reserve, MK Ultra, Operation Northwoods, Bretton Woods, the imperfect ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment, Waco, income tax withholding, income tax brackets, social security, elections, the drug war, Pearl Harbor, the Grace Commission, JFK’s assassination, MLK’s assassination, the Bay of Pigs invasion, the U.S.S. Maine, the U.S.S. Liberty, the Gulf of Tonkin, weapons of mass destruction, global warming, education, VA medical treatment, the national debt, the deficit, trade agreements, the gold standard, Three Mile Island, gun control, immigration and about a thousand other things.

Those with conspiracy theories questioning our benevolent Washington (that’s you, Mr. Graham!) are just plain crazy.
