To walk out on insulting political trash. Just what these kids in CO did during a vigil, allegedly for the victims of the recent Satanic, gay-tranny, hate crime and shooting spree.

Colorado students walked out of an event billed as a vigil for Kendrick Castillo, an 18-year-old killed in a shooting at his school on Tuesday, when prominent speakers attempted to turn it into a rally for gun control. Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colorado) and Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colorado) each took a turn calling for gun control at the Douglas County event before students streamed out in protest.

Two students at STEM Highlands Ranch, a K-12 charter school focused on science, technology, engineering, and math, shot nine students, one fatally. The accused students, who were arrested, are an adult male and a juvenile female who identifies as male. The accused male had written anti-Christian social media messages. He drove a car with a pentagram spray-painted on the hood, as well as other [Satanic] graffiti…

In response to the shooting, a public vigil was announced at another local public high school: Highlands Ranch High School. It was sponsored by the gun control groups Brady’s Team Enough and March for Our Lives and featured Democratic politicians who seek limits on Second Amendment gun rights, but was billed instead as an event to remember and honor Castillo and other victims. As the politicians called for gun control, students left in protest over the politicization of the deaths and injuries.

You were just supposed to be there as pawns, children. The shithead pols care nothing about you nor your deceased hero friend. Good on all of them! Parents and other adults (if any): vote this garbage out of office and run them out of the State.

It’s hardly a surprise. Neither is the utter inaction from “your” elected officials. Nor is the insouciance of the American Sheeple. But, spy they do.

A coalition of 19 consumer and privacy groups plans to file a complaint Thursday alleging that Amazon’s Echo Dot Kids Edition is illegally collecting voice recordings and other identifying information on users under 13 and that the system’s parental controls are flawed.

The complaint says that the Echo Dot Kids Edition – a colorful, youth-oriented version of Amazon’s popular “smart speaker” systems that allow users to ask questions, play music or control thermostats with voice commands – violates the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, known as COPPA. The 1998 law sharply limits what data companies can collect without permission from parents.

The 98-page complaint is the latest in a series by consumer and privacy groups urging the Federal Trade Commission to intensify its enforcement of how leading technology companies treat children and their personal data. The Institute for Public Representation at Georgetown University Law Center served as counsel to the groups on the complaint.

“It is incredibly important not only that Amazon fix these problems but that the FTC enforce COPPA,” said Josh Golin, executive director of the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood, an advocacy group based in Boston and the lead complainant. “What we need is a COPPA cop on the beat.”

Mea COPPA. Waiting for that government beat cop is going to be a long wait. Take matters into your own hands; get your kids off the social dragnets.

California’s FAIR (GAME) Act Targets Children

This is fitting for the Amerikan version of Sodom and Gomorrah. Another great reason to homeschool.

California’s FAIR Education Act, passed in 2011, mandates that school textbooks and curricula be more inclusive of historically underrepresented communities, including those with disabilities, from various religious backgrounds, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

The district’s chosen curriculum, Studies Weekly, complies with the FAIR Education Act — also referred to as the LGBT History Bill. The bill, SB 48, is often met with debate when implemented at the school district level.

The district spent a year piloting several units of the the new curriculum, introducing it to 35 teachers in the majority of the district’s schools, said deputy superintendent Kathleen Pon.

“All students should be able to see a role model in their textbook, and say, ‘A person like me did something great, and I can do something great too,’” said Whitney High School student Michael Whiteside.

But nearly 1,000 Rocklin residents signed a petition asking the district to delay the decision to adopt a new curriculum, because they said elementary students were too young to understand sexual orientation.

There’s a reason these creatures want open access to your children; they’re not even hiding it anymore. Make like Lot and leave.

‘Covered in Sauce:’ The Snowplow Parents

Helicopter parenting for faster failure. Vox Day explains:

I don’t even know where to begin with this:

In her practice, Dr. Levine said, she regularly sees college freshmen who “have had to come home from Emory or Brown because they don’t have the minimal kinds of adult skills that one needs to be in college.”

One came home because there was a rat in the dorm room. Some didn’t like their roommates. Others said it was too much work, and they had never learned independent study skills. One didn’t like to eat food with sauce. Her whole life, her parents had helped her avoid sauce, calling friends before going to their houses for dinner. At college, she didn’t know how to cope with the cafeteria options — covered in sauce.

That’s one benefit of having been raised in a family with a Marine Corps tradition. From childhood, one is informed that there is always and only one answer to every obstacle: improvise, adapt, and overcome!

I knew immediately to begin with the sauce…

This is a good lead-in (from the NYT!) to this week’s somewhat related TPC column about college. That will include a short Mueller note, not that Mr. Nettles didn’t fully explain the matter in this morning’s early op-ed.

The War on Children and the Family Marches On

As the people sleep.

Here follows a plethora of link-i-ness:

In Germany, where homeschooling is illegal (and where being German might as well be), government teachers are trained to identify the kids of the “far right.”

Teachers are advised to be on the lookout for gender roles, too. It should be made clear “to what extent authoritarian and gender-stereotyped parenting styles limit the possibilities of children and complicate their development,” the manual says.

The guide lays out ‘clues’ that can help to spot children who might belong to far-right families. One of such signs is described as: “The girl wears dresses and braids, she is directed to do house work at home, while the boy faces strong physical challenges and drills.” Teachers are advised to hold face-to-face conversations with the parents in such cases.

The brochure’s approach was blasted not only by the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD), but by the politicians from the ruling coalition as well. The lawmaker from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Christoph Bernstiel said that it is “unbelievable” that “a taxpayer-funded brochure identifies girls wearing braids and clothes as potentially ‘nationalist’.”

If it triggers even the socialist left, then it’s peak SJW. A Sampling of the stupidity:

Being “far right” is inhuman… This post-modern word salad from the kinds of people who buy and consume the blood of children:

You don’t have to drink the blood of children to reclaim the vigor of your lost youth. You can mainline it. For $8,000 a liter.

Ambrosia, a startup founded by a Stanford Medical School graduate, has begun pouring the blood of the young into the hardened arteries of their elders in five cities, one of them San Francisco, according to a new report.

Founded in 2016 by Jesse Karmazin, an MD never licensed to practice medicine, Florida-based Ambrosia claims to be able to combat aging through infusions of blood plasma from younger people.

It’s now infusing patients in Los Angeles, Tampa, Omaha, Houston and the city by the Bay, according to Business Insider.

Those few who may innately know what “ambrosia” was supposed to be, likely understand the neo-vampiric and fully satanic connection to make-do ichor consumption. For slightly less knowledgable, does this not ring of the “ye shall be as gods” lie? For the rest … this is very bad…

Bad, maybe like appointing a murder suborning attorney as your new, deeper state AG.

The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for Attorney General nominee William Barr have focused heavily on Barr’s views on Special Counsel Robert Mueller. But nobody is asking about Barr’s legal crusade for blanket immunity for federal agents who killed American citizens.

Barr received a routine questionnaire from the Judiciary Committee asking him to disclose his past work including pro bono activities “serving the disadvantaged.” The “disadvantaged” that Barr spent the most time helping was an FBI agent who slayed an Idaho mother holding her baby in 1992. Barr spent two weeks organizing former Attorneys General and others to support “an FBI sniper in defending against criminal charges in connection with the Ruby Ridge incident.” Barr also “assisted in framing legal arguments advanced… in the district court and the subsequent appeal to the Ninth Circuit,” he told the committee.

Shoot a man, shoot and kill his wife, son, and dog, it’s all forgiven. Be the new AG. Keep things as they are. At least none of the spilled blood was licked up – that we know of…

We also don’t know why the University [SIC] of Georgia hired a virulent anti-white racist to teach philosophy. Well, of course, we know why. For his part, he’s doing what angry, jealous nuts do: condemning those who literally gifted him his current place and occupation. For their part, white Christian Americans stay dumb and mum, relying on a gay Jew to defend them.

A University of Georgia instructor was confronted by a student over alleged anti-white statements and tweets, according to footage shared by ACT For America and Campus Hate Watch.

In the video, a student identifying themself as a “Jewish member of the LGBT community” challenges an instructor in the middle of class about his alleged “negative rhetoric against white people.”

“You call white people ‘autistic kids,’ you say we all work at Chick-Fil-A and never work for anything,” the student says. “These are all tweets I have screenshots of.”

“How can you talk about freedom and equality and all these things, but you talk about a certain group of people and put them in these stereotypes?”

“You’re an instructor here – you teach a course, and you subject students to this kind of hateful-ass rhetoric, and I think it is a damn shame that people go to this university and you subject them to that,” the student continues.

Some twelve years ago, on a cold inclement January day, I sat down with some communists at UGA about teaching political philosophy. They clearly made the right call…

And, if you’re thinking about writing off Goolag, you may be on to something. Maybe wait, as it looks like they’re imploding on their own:

A Google executive sparked a fierce backlash from employees by using the word “family” in a weekly, company-wide presentation, according to internal documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Many Google employees became angry that the term was used while discussing a product aimed at children, because it implied that families have children, the documents show. The backlash grew large enough that a Google vice president addressed the controversy and solicited feedback on how the company could become more inclusive.

TheDCNF received the documents from a source who insisted upon anonymity in order to share them. (RELATED: Google Employees Debated Burying Conservative Media In Search)

One employee stormed out of the March 2017 presentation after a presenter “continued to show (awesome) Unicorn product features which continually use the word ‘family’ as a synonym for ‘household with children,’” he explained in an internal thread. That employee posted an extended rant, which was well-received by his colleagues, on why linking families to children is “offensive, inappropriate, homophobic, and wrong.”

He wrote:

This is a diminishing and disrespectful way to speak. If you mean “children”, say “children”; we have a perfectly good word for it. “Family friendly” used as a synonym for “kid friendly” means, to me, “you and yours don’t count as a family unless you have children”. And while kids may often be less aware of it, there are kids without families too, you know.

The use of “family” as a synonym for “with children” has a long-standing association with deeply homophobic organizations. This does not mean we should not use the word “family” to refer to families, but it mean we must doggedly insist that family does not imply children.

Even the sense, “suitable for the whole family”, which you might think is unobjectionable, is totally wrong too. It only works if we have advance shared conception of what “the whole family” is, and that is almost always used to mean a household with two adults, of opposite sex, in a romantic/sexual relationship, with two or more of their own children. If you mean that as a synonym for “suitable for all people” stop and notice the extraordinary unlikelihood of such a thought! So “suitable for the whole family” doesn’t mean “all people”, it means “all people in families”, which either means that all those other people aren’t in families, or something even worse. Use the word “family” to mean a loving assemblage of people who may or may not live together and may or may not include people of any particular age. STOP using it to mean “children”. It’s offensive, inappropriate, homophobic, and wrong.

Just give them a little longer. Concentrate on your positive family: happy, appropriate, hetero-amandi, and right.

One of these two final items might (might) feature in next week’s TPC column. This week’s column got the Farcebook treatment, perhaps being banned for extremism. I don’t know for sure and certainly don’t care – except that I know I’m over the target. Thanks for riding along. Swinging around now to refuel and reload.

Paul Brandus does a pretty good job of summing up America’s standing one-fifth of the way through the 21st Century. He touches on several important subjects. However, in the touching, he seems to miss much of the “why,” shunning some analysis for popular sentiment.

This part, for instance, caught my attention:

We seem to have been overcome by pettiness and cynicism, incapable of doing anything big anymore. How did we descend from the country that cured polio, built the interstate highway system and put a man on the moon—to one in which millions see nothing wrong with the government ripping babies from their mother’s bosom?

This being one of several leftist talking points soft sells. How? Well, when millions see nothing wrong with ripping babies from the womb, how much consternation can there be about the bosom?

And, again, since when have liberals ever cared about separating children (the ones who survive “choice”) and families? Stephen Baskerville has some excellent thoughts on that:

Liberal policies have been “separating children from their parents” for years.

The beasts! What kind of monsters deliberately separate innocent children from their parents? This descends to a level of barbarism that is unspeakable!

There are big money and a lot of votes in these anti-child rackets. Cash and curry aside, “Barbarism” is the right word.

Solutions for better, education abound.

From today’s TPC bit:

Today, some good news. Great news. Last week, in PART ONE of this series, we examined the dreadful state of the existing public high schools. The state spends a small fortune per student and then produces horrific academic results, even by its own watered-down standards. And, the kids have the luxury of experiencing this fraud while suffering prison conditions to shock the Nuremberg prosecutors.

I promised I’d be back this week with solutions. We’re about to get to those. First, it occurred to me that this short series on education just happens to coincide with graduation schedules. This is a coincidence, I suppose. I also suppose we can graduate to something better.

The problems in the schools result from many factors. But, they are mostly the product of a never-ending series of increasingly heavy-handed laws, regulations, and rules. Students, parents, taxpayers, and those who enjoy intelligent civil society keep trading one liberty after another in exchange for fake security that resembles illiterate, zero tolerance fraud and little else. The trouble boils down to, in a word: “tyranny.”

The solution, in a word, is “freedom.”

Free Tommy Robinson! Free England!

Stefan Molyneux on the arrest and detention of the truth:

The arrest for “breach of peace:”

BACKGROUND STORY

With the Orwellian gag order by the Dishonorable, Un-English Judge Marson:

nimbus-image-1527355792731

And, that 2017 Twitter quote by Naz Shah, “Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths. For the good of diversity.” That was real, not rhetoric nor a joke. She was serious. She’s a Member of Parliament. She still has the job, walks the streets, and is allowed to remain in GB. But Robinson is in a cage.

Far worse news:

The Irish Vote to Murder Babies

The people of Ireland are set to liberalize some of the world’s most restrictive abortion laws by a landslide, two exit polls from a referendum showed on Friday, as voters demanded change in what two decades ago was one of Europe’s most socially conservative countries.

They actually voted to amend their constitution to refute the right to life for unborn children. This is progress for women and children. “Making history,” growled the Prime Minister. The “Justice” Minister called it “another big step out of our dark past.” The Minister for Children was an advocate of the vote – to take away rights and life from children.

Those Irish stereotypes come to mind for some reason.

The Queen has the power to stop this. Her failure to do so will completely justify the delegitimization of the Crown.

Be Kind to Robots??

The following story is more pitiful and possibly more dangerous than John Paul’s Stevens’s feeble plea to destroy civil liberties (working on response…). Check this out:

Robot abuse is real, but maybe this little tortoise can help

Here’s a little robotic tortoise with a big lesson to teach.

Shelly is a cute little guy, with a plastic shell, wiggly legs, and a series of LEDs that light up to express its repertoire of simulated emotions. But Shelly is more than just a toy. It’s a tool designed to help children understand that while robots may not feel pain or hurt feelings the way humans do, mistreating them is not okay.

If a child hits or squeezes Shelly — or tries to pry apart its shell — the sensor-studded turtlebot pulls its noggin back into its shell and doesn’t come out again for 14 seconds.

I’m thinking a twenty-pound sledge-hammer and Shelly will clam up for longer than 14 seconds.

This is how they get you to accept the loss of jobs and then the eventual extermination. With a turtlebot. It’s not the eradication of humans. It’s robot abuse… Dear Gawd, if people accept this… Is this what teevee has done to the brains?

Anyway, as I was saying, they get you with this little fellow (almost cute in a doped-up, Japanimation kind of way):

180323-shelly-tortoise-al-1311_ba0c9ab252487e79b6f17575ceeec3c1.focal-1000x500

Then this not-so-little fellow steps in for the kill:

bigdog_485

Maybe in his next book or op-ed Stevens could float a ban on these things. They’re not our friends. There is no reason to be kind to them. Unless, of course, we kill them with “kindness.” So long as they die.

The ‘Civil’ Side of Robbery

children, civil forfeiture, crime, Georgia, government theft, law, robbery, Satan, theft

A few years ago the combined governments of America surpassed all other thieves and robbers in terms of the value of items and cash stolen from people annually. I read that somewhere and believed it without citation. And this has nothing to do with the theft and slavery of taxation, regulation, and inflation. Factor those in and gubmint gives Satan a run for your money.

No, this particular stealing is known as “civil forfeiture” though there’s nothing civil about it. Under Imperial law and the statutes of the several States the police can just seize your money or other stuff and haul it away. If you don’t successfully complete a Draconian legal procedure – literally pushing a boulder uphill, with a string, on ice, under gunfire, etc. – they get to keep it. This keeps us safe from terrorists, monsters, dope dealers, and unicorns.

I dealt with a few of these types of cases back in the dark days. I actually won a few. Believe it or not, the Feds can be easier to work with that local enforcers of the Big Club’s decrees of “justice.” Most people don’t win. Most don’t even try to recover their lost goods. The odds are not in their favor.

In these bizarre appropriations no arrest is necessary. In fact, the police don’t even have to accuse one of a crime or even (officially) suspect one. They literally just take things and keep them. Because. This usually involves cash money but can include: houses, cars, boats, planes, furniture, clothes, jewelry, guns, debit cards, and just about any other physical items.

Should one get indignant and demand the return of said items, one has to file a pleading in the eventual civil action – brought by the government against the things seized. They actually style the cases like this: The Empire v. $3,472 in Federal Reserve Funny Money, CV-BS-666. Really. Most folks just let it go. A judge rubber stamps the theft at a civil calendar call and that’s that. And it can be better to let it go.

The procedure for recovery places one in the near-impossible position of proving a negative – say, proving that the cash was not used in or gained through a drug deal. And they look to trip people into committing perjury or admissions of “real” crimes.

Sometimes a few folks win their own stuff back. Sometimes it’s as easy as writing a letter. Some small children in Georgia did just that: they got their piggy bank back from the man:

Kenneth Woods Jr. and his little sister saved all their money in their piggy banks, the same ones narcotics agents emptied during the execution of a search warrant last fall.

“I’m asking can we have our money we save(d) up back. We didn’t do anything wrong,” the then 10-year-old wrote in answer to a civil forfeiture action filed in Richmond County Superior Court.

A hearing scheduled Thursday ended before it could begin. When Assistant District Attorney Mark Shaefer read the boy’s reply, he agreed immediately to give the $420 back, said attorney Jason Hasty who volunteered to help the children and their grandmother, Corene Woods, after she told him about the piggy banks.

Grandmother wasn’t so lucky, losing her vehicles. At least she wasn’t SWATTED over the Devil’s Lettuce, scourge of civilization. And let’s give ADA Shaefer the Civil Servant of the Day Award! Thank you, sir, for having a conscience. That, and common sense and human decency, seems lacking elsewhere.

Yes, this is the law of the land. The government, gaining Billion$ in free loot, loves it. The Alabama Elf, for instance, is all over the concept, looking to expand it far and wide. He’s not alone. This is one of those things you’d know about, care about, maybe even get angry about, if you’d turn off the G-D television and wake up for once.

There are a few comments after the linked story, all sympathetic. Maybe it’s the child victim thing that got them. At least they’re aware now. They use words like “due process,” “leeches,” and “just wrong.” When leeches run the system, due process is just wrong.

‘Merica.
