Clearing the Drafts – Progress

So far I’ve taken out what about half of the stock we had in inventory. Many, I just deleted. Most of what’s left are either notes for something else, works in progress which need full attention, and a few that need further consideration. Accomplishment.

UPDATE: I’ve scheduled a few more to post this weekend.

FP UPDATE: I kind of have the links for the rest of 2018 scheduled. And, I have a Happy 2019 post readied for January. That … may be either the end (or near the end) of FP. Not sure. It’s been fun and profitable but all good things…

TPC UPDATE: We’ve only just begun.

Nobody really does it like PCR:

Why are citizens so powerless that their governments can elevate the interest of foreigners far above the interests of citizens?

There are a number of reasons. The main one is that the people are disarmed and are propagandized to accept violence from the state against them, but not to deliver violence in return against the governments’ illegal use of force against citizens.

In short, until the conquered peoples of Europe kill the police, who serve the ruling elite and delight in inflicting brutality against those whose taxes pay their salaries, take the weapons from the police, and kill the corrupt politicians who have sold them out, the peoples of Europe will remain a conquered and oppressed peoples.

Some time past Chris Hedges, one of the remaining real journalists, made it clear that without violent revolution to excise the tumor of government superiority over the people, freedom throughout the West is dead as a doornail.

Harsh but true – and nicely couched in EUROPEAN terms, just in case… No arguments here.

Other thoughts of the week:

*I fully support shutting down the government – permanently is okay with me.

*Without a shutdown, criminal justice reform is probably a good idea (though I haven’t seen the details).

*Wall or No Wall? The 2020 question.

*Good riddance to another swamp rat.

*Etc…..

A Prediction I Hope Is Wrong

Last month I predicted Tucker Carlson’s imminent departure from Faux News (formerly, the Legs Network):

“If this behavior is maintained, then look for Carlson’s departure from Faux News early next year. I’m sure the pretext has already been manufactured.”

The pretext in civic nationalistic defense of mass (third world) migration. Carlson’s advertisers are leaving over his simple adherence to the truth:

More than a dozen companies have announced they will either pull or suspend their advertising from Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show over comments about immigration he made last week.

Land Rover, IHOP, Ancestry.com, Just For Men, Minted, Smile Direct, Pacific Life, ScotteVest, Nerd Wallet, TD Ameritrade, Bowflex, CareerBuilder, Zenni and the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card had as of Tuesday afternoon all released statements saying that they would no longer advertise on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

The retreat from Carlson’s program came as liberal activists and organizations pressured companies to abandon the show.

Faux, for their dull part, says they won’t stand for censorship. Hmmmm. For our part, these are more companies to add to the list of enemies, who hate you, whom you should not $upport. Pancakes are better at Village Inn anyway.

Ups and Downs of Amerikan Health

There was that funny (and prophetic) Garfield panel from the 1980s. This one:

In modern Amerika, life imitates art: On average, people are shorter and fatter.

The average U.S. adult is overweight and just a few pounds from obese, thanks to average weight increases in all groups – but particularly whites and Hispanics.

Overall, the average height for men actually fell very slightly the past decade. There was no change for women.

One factor may be the shift in the country’s population. There’s a growing number of Mexican-Americans, and that group tends to be a little shorter, said one of the report’s authors, Cynthia Ogden of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The findings come from a 2015-16 health survey that measures height and weight. More than 5,000 U.S. adults took part.

CDC records date to the early 1960s, when the average man was a little over 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighed 166 pounds. Now, men are almost 1 inch taller and more than 30 pounds heavier. But today’s average height of 5-foot-9 is about a tenth of an inch shorter than a decade ago.

The average woman in the early 1960s was 5-foot-3 and 140 pounds. Now, women are a half-inch taller and about 30 pounds heavier, on average. The average height is about the same as it was a decade earlier: 5-foot-4.

Other survey findings:

• In the last decade, the average weight of men rose about 2 pounds, to 198. For women, it rose 6 pounds, to nearly 171.

• Men have 40-inch waistlines, on average. Women’s waistlines are a little under 39 inches.

So, today’s big beautiful women are heavier, despite being a half foot shorter, than the men of yesteryear. And, with the average for both sexes bloating towards obesity, that means that a considerable percentage are obese, many grossly, morbidly so.

Because you asked, I’m right around the average male height but 20 pounds under the average male weight and six inches off the belt size. This, with a much lower than average BMI, half the body fat, and around twice the general physical strength.

It’s hardly surprising that these changes are coupled with shortening lifespans and the wild increase in various physical and mental maladies. Factor in the decreasing IQ’s and lack of education, and we have a problem.

I wonder how much of the increased average weight is tattoo ink?

Planned Abortion Mistreats Pregnant Women? Quelle Surprise

How is the following news? One can hardly be surprised that an organization founded on literal Nazi eugenics practices and which oversees the murder of hundreds of thousands of children every year isn’t the least bit concerned about the well-being of expectant mothers.

Discrimination against pregnant women and new mothers remains widespread in the American workplace. It is so pervasive that even organizations that define themselves as champions of women are struggling with the problem.

That includes Planned Parenthood, which has been accused of sidelining, ousting or otherwise handicapping pregnant employees, according to interviews with more than a dozen current and former employees.

In interviews and legal documents, women at Planned Parenthood and other organizations with a feminist bent described discrimination that violated federal or state laws — managers considering pregnancy in hiring decisions, for example, or denying rest breaks recommended by a doctor.

In other cases, the bias was more subtle. Many women said they were afraid to announce a pregnancy at work, sensing they would be seen as abandoning their colleagues.

Some of those employers saw accommodating expecting mothers as expensive and inconvenient. Others were unsympathetic to workers seeking special treatment.

“Expensive and inconvenient” is exactly how they describe their droves of annual natal victims. The adult women victims should be afraid, mortally so. A pregnant woman working amongst such demons is like – exactly like – Jonathan Harker’s duty call at Castle Dracula.

And, your taxes pay for this, you know.

TPC On The Road: A Christmas Tradition? – New Fiction at TPC

We find a family on the road before Christmas…

Eight A.M. and the family was on the freeway, heading North, with less than an hour of Pennsylvania roads left to travel. Coffee-fueled and ready for anything not work-related, Todd and Claire man the front buckets. Little Ruthie, seven-years-old, and tiny Lizzie, barely one, hold the middle. From the rear, with the gear, nary a sound comes from ten-year-old Bryson. Fortnite suffers no idle chit chat.

Second down and goal to go! The Sunday morning before Christmas was a fine, if cold, time.

‘Can we listen to “Dominick the Donkey?”’ asked Ruthie.

‘Not again,’ Claire replied, ‘Ten times was enough last night. And, WODS will be playing it twice an hour – unless they’ve switched to some listless contemporary lineup – which would JUST BE STUPID.’

‘Say,’ added Todd, ‘How ‘bout a little Dandy and the Bass Slayers? They’ve got the best Christmas album. From ninety-seven? Maybe ninety-nine?’

‘Honey,’ Claire sighed, ‘Nobody wants to hear that tired, redneck, Bluegrass-pop vulgarity again. Let them go.’

Private Laws – clearing the drafts

Tags

***Note*** I’ve got a lot of drafts sitting around, some in existence and unpublished since 2013. It became obvious to me that I’m in no hurry to get around to them. But, they’ve survived various draft purges over the years. If they’re that important I can just come back and elaborate later. For now, I offer them, kind of as-is, in this, a lightning publishing round. The fun will continue while supplies last. Make of these what you will. Or not. I don’t care.

They ain’t for you!

But they exist. Maybe more on this later. Or not.

The Bible tells us that the Apostles were all in one Accord… Acts 2:1… Pun…must have been like a Holy clown car.

Things have changed. Now, even the preacher’s wife gets the luxury treatment. A South Carolina megachurch ring master pastor bought his wife a $200,000 Lamborghini as an anniversary gift.

Megachurch Pastor John Gray felt a need to explain it on a 23-minute clip on Facebook after catching a lot of flak,

Dec. 17 — This preacher’s wife has no reason to be late to church.

Megachurch Pastor John Gray bought his wife Aventer a $200,000 Lamborghini Urus for their eight-year anniversary, which he felt a need to explain on a 23-minute clip on Facebook after catching a lot of flak.

Ironically, Gray, who said he started preaching in 1994, started the video with a transportation metaphor.

“I want to thank the people who have been walking with me,” the Greenville, S.C. based holy man said before explaining the lavish present.

“The reason my wife and i wanted to have an eight-year wedding celebration is because I needed a new beginning — eight is the number of new beginnings,” he said.

He also clarified that being a pastor is just his job and he’s a husband first.

It’s all okay. I understand that (recently and suddenly) the Relentless (wow!) Church, which, by their website, more closely resembles a Motley Crue concert than a house of worship, has offered some cash to needy parishioners. I’m sure there’s no relationship to the Lambo backlash.

Really, it’s okay. Pastor Gray is associated with Opera and Joel Osteen so there’s no chance that he’s a post-modern, man of the world, do as I say, gospel of prosperity, churchian grifter. He’s a husband with a side business. Now, tithe.
