In “America” this weekend President Trump entered into a war of words with the overweight, illiterate, felonious millionaire class. (The pink comes next month). More proof his base is abandoning him came today as millions of semi-conscious cucks ignored Trump’s admonitions and drunkenly starred at an amp-up spectacle of degeneracy on Plato’s Electric Cave™.

More serious doings were afoot in the Deutschland, as a seemingly suicidal electorate choose yet another term of the globalist thaumaturge Angela Merkel. The good news (if any) is the pole-vaulting national entry of the AfD.

And this process is really just getting started. As Americans are slowly but surely turning off the hissy ft antics of athletes, owners, and advertisers who hate them, so Germans (all Western Europeans) are slowly coming around to the massive transformation of their land and their culture. Just a few more rapes, murders, arsons, elderly home displacements, bombings, and Christmas market drive-thrus should do it. 2021 will come.

Glückwünsche, dreckige hexe. Daily Mail.

People, even the blindest and deafest, begin to understand what’s going on. Even back in America.

Back here, this weekend, another deranged lunatic walked into another church and opened fire on Christians. (And, yes, once again the bad guy with a gun was stopped by a good buy with a gun). Nikki Haley concernedly called from New York, offering to take a break from her new job of steering the U.S. into dual nuclear wars and ban some Confederate flags or something. She rested easy, assured that this shooter was a black man from Sudan. Her parting words on the phone were “memory hole!”

Maybe. Maybe not this time. Maybe someone will wake up.

But, for now, back to kneeling before the electric altar of advertising for some exciting kneeling. Take a knee!

First Law Demonstrated Again (London Tube Updates)

It’s really easy. Perrin’s First Law of Terrorism: Terror suspects are ALWAYS known to authorities in advance. Always.

For example: The London Tube Bombing Case: Arrestee No. 1, an 18-year-old “refugee” and foster “child,” was arrested (and released) at the same train station only two weeks ago.

Arrestee No. 2 is a 21-year-old “refugee” and former foster “child.” They say he loves a party.

The first suspect is from Iraq, the second from Syria.

The process goes something like this, overall: Western nation invades or meddles in foreign country. Foreigners are angered by this. Western nation foolishly allows mass migration of angry foreigners into Western nation. Western nation puts up displaced angry (fighting-age male) foreigners in foster homes. Displaced angry fighting-age male foreigner fosterlings bomb local subway train. Repeat process until Western nation is dead.

Meddling there + importing here = suicide.

Always.

Were my debt-trimental plan from the previous post enacted and followed, there would theoretically be money for everything under the sun: Universal Healthcare; universal income; welfare unending; chickens on pot; a starship to get me to a saner planet, and; funding for wars the world over.

As is the wars (and all that other spending) are bankrupting the country. There are also funny, lingering Constitutional issues, holdovers from when the Old Parchment meant something.

Rand Paul is about the only man left in D.C. who still throws around the “C” word, the dirtiest 12 letters in the English language. Today he again pushed the antiquated idea of Congress, not the White House, declaring war:

The Senate on Wednesday rejected a bipartisan push for a new war authorization against the Islamic State and other terrorist groups, electing to let the White House rely on a 16-year-old law passed after the Sept. 11 attacks as the legal basis to send U.S. troops into combat.

Senators voted 61-36 scuttle an amendment to the annual defense policy bill by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., that would have allowed war authorizations, created in the wake of al-Qaida’s 9/11 strikes, to lapse after six months. Paul, a leader of the GOP’s noninterventionist wing, said Congress would use the time to debate an updated war authority for operations in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere before the old ones expired.

Paul criticized his colleagues ahead of the vote, urging them to embrace their war-making responsibility instead of surrendering their power to the White House. He and senators who backed his amendment said former President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump have used the war authorizations from 2001 and 2002 for military operations in countries that Congress never voted to support.

“We are supposed to be a voice that debates and says, ‘Should we go to war?’ It’s part of doing our job,” Paul said. “It’s about grabbing power back and saying this is a Senate prerogative.”

Debates? Doing their job? The Constitution? Such craziness.

All know that the purpose of the Senate is to collude with assist the House with cobbling together “budgets” for the spending of money we don’t have. The wise executive apparatchiks handle the details – “healthcare” for the kiddies, billion$ for banks, and wars without end.

And the wars are really going so well. Rand is in an irrational dizzy about Afghanistan. Why? We’re having so much fun there, we’ve made it a multi-decade party.

Then, there’s the … whatever kind of meddling it is … in Syria. A Christian Bishop from Syria (yes Alabama, there are and have been Christians in the Middle East) explains the sheer brilliance of U.S. policy in his country:

acma2000/YouTube.

The man seems a little distressed about something. Calm down, Padre. They’re raising the debt ceiling!

And, you. You keep a votin’ for all this. Doing such a swell job.

Harvey was too much. Irma is coming. Now, there may be a different kind of disaster in North Korea. How about H-bombs on 10,000 km-capable ICBMs?

For some reason I can’t bring myself to worry about this that much. D.C. is still radically more dangerous to Americans that Pyongyang. Still, if a renewed war gets rolling now, the outcome may be surprising and extremely unpleasant.

I do wish all of the pols and commentators would can the “make some glass” BS. That time has passed. Or, at least, who would like to pick the U.S. city(s) to run through the glass factory?

NK still has but a drop in the nuclear bucket. But it’s a drop you’d rather not spill.

His first inclination, he said, was to cut the losses. Then, after meeting with the generals, Trump was convinced to carry on America’s longest war:

President Donald Trump opened the door to an increase in U.S. troop numbers in Afghanistan on Monday night as part of a new strategy for the region, arguing against a hasty withdrawal from America’s longest military conflict.

Trump, in a prime-time televised address, said his new approach was aimed at preventing Afghanistan from becoming a safe haven for Islamist militants bent on attacking the United States. He also laid out a tougher approach to U.S. policy toward Pakistan.

The Republican president overcame his own doubts about the war that began in October 2001 after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States. He said repeatedly on the campaign trail last year that the war was too costly in lives and money.

Maybe another 16 years. Or 60. Not feeling to good about this. He did make some good upfront points about national reconciliation. There’s a thought – fix this country first…

In totally unrelated news I shot a video during the Solar Eclipse. That may come forth soon – it’s not that spectacular. It was maybe like early dusk? Meh.

So, sometime today we will hear just where the  nearly 16-year-old War in Afghanistan is going next.

President Donald Trump has made a decision on the United States’ strategy for Afghanistan after a “sufficiently rigorous” review process, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Sunday.

However, Mattis did not provide details on when the White House would make an announcement or what the decision was on Afghanistan, where fighting still rages more than 15 years after U.S. forces invaded and overthrew a Taliban government.

Soon after taking office in January, the Trump administration began a review of U.S. policy on Afghanistan, which has expanded into a broader South Asia review.

“I am very comfortable that the strategic process was sufficiently rigorous and did not go in with a pre-set position,” Mattis told reporters traveling with him aboard a military aircraft to Jordan. “The president has made a decision. As he said, he wants to be the one to announce it to the American people.”

We’re waiting.

Sixteen years and Taliban insurgents still control half the country. Imagine Hitler still controlling half of Germany and occupied Europe – in 1957… Of course, then, we had a declaration and goals.

Mattis knows. We’ll know soon. Eric Vidal/Reuters.

The decision will be important and should shed some light on where all foreign policy is going in the years to come. I fear that minding our own business may not be an option. I hope I’m wrong.

Knife Attack in Turku, Finland

Looks to be the same old new normal:

One person has been killed after a man armed with a knife stabbed several people in Finland before being shot by armed police.

At least one person was seen lying dead on the pavement in the southwestern city of Turku.

Eight people had been taken to hospital following the stabbings, including a woman who was pushing a pram. Some of the victims are in a critical condition.

Police shot a man in the leg before arresting him and are now on the hunt for more suspects.

Chief of police Seppo Kolehmainen said: ‘We can not exclude the events being linked to international terrorism.’

Of course it can be excluded! On that note, might I recommend an appropriate fake headline for CNN and Wolf Blitzer, in case they don’t already have something sufficiently zany:

Thirteen are dead and more than 100 wounded in the latest ISIS attack in Europe.

Further, deadly raids are underway in Cambrils:

Catalan police have just confirmed that – as well as the four suspects shot dead, and a fifth who was wounded and arrested – six bystanders and one police officer were injured during the operation in Cambrils.

Two are seriously injured. The officer was slightly hurt.

It’s not clear how they were injured.

All terrorists and suspects were previously known to authorities somewhere, because Perrin’s First Law.

North Korea’s Drop in the Nuclear Bucket

Them nuc-u-ler wep-ins. Kim Jong-Un seems to have backed off the nuking of Guam or whatever. The following might, just might help explain why. It explains much. A pretty good breakdown of who has what:

nuclear-weapon-factsheet-2

As VisualCapitalist’s map above demonstrates, the United States and Russia still maintain the world’s largest stockpiles of nuclear weapons, holding 92% of the world’s estimated 15,000 nuclear warheads.

While today’s arsenals seem quite excessive, they are actually quite modest compared to historical totals such as those during the Cold War. In 1986, for example, there were actually 70,300 nuclear weapons globally – but luckily for us, the number of warheads has eased down over time as countries disarm more weapons.

A few more countries will probably join the nuclear club within a decade or two. Yet, hopefully the overall weapon numbers will continue to fall. Hopefully none will ever see use. Two was too many.

Donald Trump, Venezuela, War

Venezuela and her people aren’t doing too well at the moment. President Trump suggested he might be able to “help.” Said “help” may be unwanted.

After months of attacking Venezuela’s unpopular President Nicolas Maduro, Latin America came out strongly against U.S. threats of military action against the crisis-hit nation.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s surprise comments on Friday may bring the beleaguered Maduro some respite in the region, just as Venezuela was on verge of becoming a pariah over its recent installation of a legislative superbody, widely condemned as a power grab by the ruling Socialists.

Following Trump’s assertion that military intervention in Venezuela was an option, Maduro’s critics are caught between backing the idea of a foreign invasion of Venezuela or supporting a president they call a dictator.

Wars and near wars in and with: Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, North Korea, etc. What’s one more? It’s madness, that’s what.
