Hope Rises: A Call to Purge the Church

It’s a call in the strongest, most straightforward terms imaginable. It’s a response more powerful and more informed than anything we could have hoped for. And that magnitude inspires hope anew.

Unless you’ve been under a rock (or glued to the TeeVee), then you’ve heard about the abuse scandal in the Catholic Church. Not the generalities, rumors, and bad jokes, decades old; but the hard and very fact specific allegations and supporting evidence as most recently manifested in the Pennsylvania grand jury report. I wrote much about that and the Vatican’s limp-wristed response thereto in last week’s TPC column.

One comment to TPC asked about news of “good” apples:

Now comes a whole barrel of good news apples. Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, former  apostolic nuncio (a diplomat or ambassador) to Washington dropped a bomb on the corrupt hierarchy of the Church.

Screenshot 2018-08-27 at 12.35.38 PM

You can and should read his 11-page letter, at the above link in Scribd format, or HERE, in plan text. The rot truly go all the way to the top.

I say “read” the letter knowing full well that half cannot and most of the other half will not. We are a “postliterate” society. (Read more on that concept HERE – try to understand it from the perspective of a writer; “postliterate” looks a lot like illiterate [all I shall say on that for now]). Anyway,

Vigano’s missive cuts to the heart of the nature of what’s wrong on many different levels. Fully comprehending, he even touches on the utter confusion which moots the understanding of morality (thus often preventing proper identification of major problems when they come up):

Father James Martin, S.J., acclaimed by the people mentioned above, in particular Cupich, Tobin, Farrell and McElroy, appointed Consultor of the Secretariat for Communications, well-known activist who promotes the LGBT agenda, chosen to corrupt the young people who will soon gather in Dublin for the World Meeting of Families, is nothing but a sad recent example of that deviated wing of the Society of Jesus.

The Pope’s (tempted to place that title in quotation) performance in Dublin was weak at best – and was rightly criticized. But even some of those who are critical are so confused from the start as to be completely ineffective (the pot and the kettle, in other words). Take this ignorance – from a somewhat sympathetic source – for example:

“So much has been covered up by bishops in the Catholic Church,” the woman said. “I was so small when I was abused, not by a member of the Church but it was covered up by the Church.

“Everyone knew, my mother, the teachers in school, everyone but that was back in the 70s and everyone was so afraid of the Church.

“It was important for me and other victims, to be here today, to use Pope Francis’ visit as a stage for protest, to force change in the Church – that bishops must no longer be allowed to cover up child abuse.

“Ireland has come so far, with the ‘Repeal’ movement and LGBTI marriage rights and now in Ireland we are going to send a message to the Church together.“

Read that again. “Ireland has come so far…” She suffered abuse, horrible abuse. That is a problem faced by so many, on many continents, for years. But she fails to see the interrelation among the various evils. In fact, she views some of them as progress. The repeal movement refers to the recent legalization of child murder in IRE. Progress? LGBTI “marriage” is progress? I understand the aforementioned Father Martin was live and in full force in Dublin – connect those dots. What then, exactly, can the message be from the people of the Emerald Isle to the Church?

One cannot expect any organization, religious or political, to correct its mistakes if half of those mistakes are mistaken for successes. As I’ve noted before a full purge is in order. Vigano gets it and calls for it: the best of this “good apple” good news:

Francis is abdicating the mandate which Christ gave to Peter to confirm the brethren. Indeed, by his action he has divided them, led them into error, and encouraged the wolves to continue to tear apart the sheep of Christ’s flock.

In this extremely dramatic moment for the universal Church, he must acknowledge his mistakes and, in keeping with the proclaimed principle of zero tolerance, Pope Francis must be the first to set a good example for cardinals and bishops who covered up McCarrick’s abuses and resign along with all of them.

Even in dismay and sadness over the enormity of what is happening, let us not lose hope! We well know that the great majority of our pastors live their priestly vocation with fidelity and dedication.

It is in moments of great trial that the Lord’s grace is revealed in abundance and makes His limitless mercy available to all; but it is granted only to those who are truly repentant and sincerely propose to amend their lives. This is a favorable time for the Church to confess her sins, to convert, and to do penance.

Let us all pray for the Church and for the Pope, let us remember how many times he has asked us to pray for him!
Let us all renew faith in the Church our Mother: “I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church!”
Christ will never abandon His Church! He generated her in His Blood and continually revives her with His Spirit!
Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us!
Mary, Virgin and Queen, Mother of the King of glory, pray for us!

Since the letter was delivered the Pope has been silent on the matter(s). Something tells me he (and certain associated figures) will not go quietly. It is up to the Faithful, then, to make some noise. Vigano is veritable shouting from the rooftop. I reiterate my call to arms.

There was another comment at TPC which I had thought to re-address. This one:

Screenshot 2018-08-27 at 1.03.57 PM

…blah, blah, blah … heretical, mid-witted blah…

In hindsight, I think my short reply was enough:

He dismisses with false interpretation and rampant speculation, all Trinitarian Churches, presumably in favor of his own organization which he doesn’t even mention by name. (I did cut out a few of his links; if he won’t name it, I won’t promote it).

Totally off subject, he presents a fake problem and then offers no solution. He fails to realize (or does not care that): there are many ways to interpret a dream; there is quite a bit of Bible prior to Revelations; The Trinity is real and Holy; more than a few countries boasted Christian death tolls to rival his (oddly unstated) number of murdered heretics, and; his misuse of Rev. 17:4, taken all the way through the cup, results in utter and self-defeating blasphemy. His use of Colossians 2:8 is projection. Fortunately, the same Christ who told us to pray in the Name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit also warned us about false prophets.

And the same Christ will never abandon His Church!

A good and happy Monday to you all.

Hell to Pay? What Now Passes for Canon Christiana?

Being the resident Catholic at the cigar shop I was bound to be asked about this allegation. I was asked by one of several Baptist preacher friends as it turned out.

Does Pope Francis Think There is No Hell?

In another interview with his longtime atheist friend, Eugenio Scalfari, Pope Francis claims that Hell does not exist and that condemned souls just “disappear.” This is a denial of the 2,000-year-old teaching of the Catholic Church about the reality of Hell and the eternal existence of the soul.

The interview between Scalfari and the Pope was published March 28, 2018 in La Repubblica. The relevant section on Hell was translated by the highly respected web log, Rorate Caeli.

…

First things first: this place, perrinlovett.me, is no longer a mere blog; it’s a highly respected web log. Get that straight. I may add that to the subtitle…

Second, wow, okay…

Please read on through the link for the Vatican’s response. They say, the Pope says, the report is false and the relevant quote was taken out of context. That may be. It is supposed that the translator/publisher has it out for His Eminence. That also may be. Much may be.

As important as this topic is, or seems, Ecclesiastically speaking, I honestly had not put much thought into it. I’m trying here; bear with me…

Assuming the worst, that the quote is correct and does adequately convey the Pope’s thought, then the matter still does not directly affect God The Father, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, nor the independent relationship of the faithful with The Trinity. It would, however, throw one helluva (pseudo-pun) into the expected, mandated guidance from the Church. The worst being true would amount to a betrayal of the past 2,000 years, and of Jesus. That, bad as it would be, could be cured. But, wow … lamentable is not even the word.

Back to not making assumptions terminal in nature: the remark, true or not, was a remark to a friend. It is not Canon nor does it invoke Papal Infallibility. The Vatican’s response seems to bear that part out.

I’ll just add that the choice of this particular friend, an atheist friend, is interesting. “There is no Hell” sounds like something an atheist would say and accept. It’s not Catholic. It’s not Christian. It’s not even of any “faith” at all.

The concern is that Francis is an Anti-Pope, one destroying, or trying to destroy, the Church. If that’s the case, there is a remedy for it. I really do rely of Christ’s assurance to Peter that Hell (must exist, huh?) shall not prevail. However, as I’ve noted before, that doesn’t mean the Devil won’t try. I’m not sure that we have at hand an Anti-Pope (let alone an Anti-Christ). I am sure this Pope from time to time strains the patience.

Just as his choice of confidants is a little telling so is his previously expressed philosophy. The latter would almost seem more like communism, globalism, post-modern worldy-ism, even, yes, atheism, than Christianity and adherence to Western Civilization. In one, brief juxtaposed example: the current Bishop of Rome chastises gun owners in America for crimes they did not commit while, simultaneously and seemingly, ignoring crimes committed all around the V.C. Do as I say, not necessarily as we do here at Saint Peter’s…

Again it tries the patience. I, being so tried, and tired from it, turn this over to Pat Buchanan, who luckily put more thought into it all that I have:

Did the soul of Judas, and those of the monstrous evildoers of history, “just fade away,” as Gen. Douglas MacArthur said of old soldiers? If there is no hell, is not the greatest deterrent to the worst of sins removed?

What did Christ die on the cross to save us from?

If Francis made such a statement, it would be rank heresy.

Had the pope been speaking ex cathedra, as the vicar of Christ on earth, he would be contradicting 2,000 years of Catholic doctrine, rooted in the teachings of Christ himself. He would be calling into question papal infallibility, as defined in 1870 by the Vatican Council of Pius IX.

Questions would arise as to whether Francis is a true pope.

…

So many questions. This one is definitely going to develop further. We have one damnable mess on our hands. (Done with puns now). I, as leader of this Highly Respected Web Log, actaully dispatched, this Friday, an agent to Rome – though I fear his investigation will probably center more on local eateries and smoke shops.

And thank you, Brother, for the prayers. We need them.

Witches to Cast a Spell on Donald Trump Tonight (Not Kidding)

Plenty of people disapprove of President Trump, his programs, policies, and demeanor. That’s fine and well in a free society. Others, wish he were simply more perfect (or just perfect). That, too, is fine and well though he’s not nor ever will be. Life goes on.

But sometimes life takes a weird twist. Tonight, at midnight, the witches of the world will “cast a spell” on Trump. Jaya Saxena of Elle reports:

Starting at midnight on Friday, witches around the country are calling for a mass spell to be cast on Donald Trump every night of a waning crescent moon until he’s driven from office.

The spell was publicized by Michael M. Hughes, who told ELLE.com that it was tweaked from multiple spells he saw going around private witchcraft groups. He published it on Extra News Feed because he felt “it would be very welcome to a lot of people.” It quickly spread, with events being formed around the country and support on social media.

Hughes explained that he chose a binding spell because “we’re not wishing harm on anyone, we’re just trying to stop the harm they’re doing. It’s not the equivalent of punching a Nazi in the face, it’s the equivalent of tying him up and taking his bullhorn away.”

The ritual itself is pretty standard magic working, binding Trump from doing harm to others and to himself, rather than asking any forces to do harm to him. There are objects to represent the elements and to represent Trump himself. The tarot card of the Tower represents ambitions built on lies, which are struck down by a lightning flash of truth. For those who believe in witchcraft, it looks to be an effective spell.

…

Hughes also says that all are welcome, even those highly skeptical of magic. “The real intention is just to get the energy focused at the same time, as many people as possible,” he says. People can participate in their own religious rituals, or even perform this as a joke or an art project. “No matter how you approach it, it’s still great to be part of it.” Plus, we’re sure you have some candles lying around.

This is no joke. This is active Satanism. This is using (trying to use) the powers of Hell for selfish profit on Earth. This has nothing to do with candles. This is direct or indirect appeal to the Devil to intervene in human affairs. Agree or disagree with the motives behind ceremony, there is no getting around the inherent evil of this plan. And, sadly, no one needs to seek out evil; it has a way of finding us on its own.

The Church is clear on this subject:

All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.

All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others—even if this were for the sake of restoring their health—are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another’s credulity.

– Catechism of the Catholic Church, Nos. 2116-2117.

The Bible is even clearer: “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.” Exodus 22:18 (KJV). By this quote I do not, herein, advocate the burning or other killing of witches – unless they actually threaten one with harm. And, given the ways in which they might seek to do harm, and given the tenuous effectiveness of such attempts, this is a wobbly standard.

In most cases a death sentence is unnecessary. These types lead lives worse than death. So long as they do no overt harm, they should be left alone. And they may be safely discounted. In fact, they should be included in prayers of deliverance and redemption. In most cases.

Michael Hughes’s statements kind of give away the “most cases” scenario. “We’re only doing good magic. We don’t want to harm anyone. Etc.” I’m sure many or most really do mean no harm. Yet the harm is there, merely in the doing of these acts and the belief if the powers behind them. Those powers are real – not a joke.

The Devil is real. Demons are real. Evil is real. Petition to the occult too often (even once) and the occult may answer. Sometimes there is a price to be paid for the interventions. Once these forces are invited in,there is no controlling them. And that is why the Church has been adamant about distancing oneself from them.

For those outside the practice, those potential victims or subjects like Trump, the spells and magic usually carry no weight whatsoever. Usually.

Now, I speculate. I have spoken with Priests and other authorities but I am no expert here. In most cases, those who chant magic words, joke or not, are merely a joke. A dangerous joke, but an empty threat nonetheless. Nothing comes of it. It has no power over anyone. However, sometimes the Devil and his minions are roused to action. Thus it is that spells are, may be, real.

A chief danger to the casting witch, warlock, or sorcerer is that the demonic forces, invited to act, act independently – often against the witch. They do not care what a witch wants; they’re just looking for any opportunity to corrupt.

In those cases where the spell gains some power, some actual authority beyond weird incantation, that power is still generally limited. Our Trinitarian God has absolute control over and against Satan, as demonstrated by Christ. This immunity and authority may be transferred to men, the power to reject or to cast out demonic forces. (See the pertinent acts of the Apostles and the work of concurrent and historical exorcists).

Many hold that the Grace of Belief and Acceptance provides Christians general protection against the demonic forces of Hell. The theory is that the gifts and nature imbued by The Holy Spirit are sufficient to defend against the Devil. This is my belief. Still I think there is a danger as to use of the gifts and the susceptibility of the subject Christian. In other words, a lapse or foible in the faith might render one vulnerable.

I understand that Trump is (or claims to be) a Christian. I also understand he is given to certain weaknesses. Thus, I do not think, though I am not sure, that he is safe from all the spells in the world. If you have doubt, please pray for his Divine Defense. It might cover all of us anyway.

Remember that what these demented people seek would affect every American and many others, not merely Trump himself. And there is no telling how Satan would choose to effect any of this “binding” – if he adhered to the requests at all.

Suppose, in parable exploration, that Trump is a shepard of sorts. He is all that stands between his flock and a ravening wolf. Some of the flock might not like Trump at all. Others might wish he would deal more decisively with the wolf. Others cheer him on. Still other don’t notice or care. If he is “bound”, restrained from any action, where does that leave the flock in  relation to the wolf? Vulnerable, whether the shepard is harmed by the binding or not.

So it is that this is serious business. Dangerous.

macbeth-and-the-three-witches-1855-xx-theodore-chasseriau

MacBeth and the Witches, Theodore Chasseriau (1855). Oceansbridge.com.

There is also an odd literary, poetical angle to it all. I recall a little Shakespeare, as if some verses had been written with Trump specifically in mind and in this predicament:

I’ll drain him dry as hay.
Sleep shall neither night nor day
Hang upon his penthouse lid.
He shall live a man forbid.
Weary sev’nnights, nine times nine,
Shall he dwindle, peak, and pine.
Though his bark cannot be lost,
Yet it shall be tempest-tossed.
Look what I have.

-1st Witch, Macbeth, Act 1, Scene 3.

Is Trump Macbeth or the Sailor? Trump lives (lived) in a penthouse. He certainly barks a lot. The witches wish to dry him out, render him impotent in terms of political effectiveness. The only thing missing is a link to Melania and some chestnuts.

Few things are more threatening and dangerous than government. This instance represents one of them.

On The Money

Banker criminals (banksters) own and run the United States. They have almost complete control of the government. Any illusion of democracy and independent control by or for the people is just that, illusory.

Thanks to Vox Day and The New Republic for pointing this out: perhaps the biggest and most alarming bombshell in the Wikileaks Hillary file isn’t even about Hillary. It’s about how the banksters, Citibank in this case, control Washington from New York. Citi literally handed down a set of lists for nominees for cabinet officer and other high-level administrative positions.

The lists went to Podesta. Remember, this weekend I leave out all negative comments about Pres. Obama himself, he of the Cuban cigars, God bless him. This isn’t about him anyway, it’s about the owners of the nation and their rule over all things political. And those lists turned into the real cabinet – dead on the money:

The cabinet list ended up being almost entirely on the money. It correctly identified Eric Holder for the Justice Department, Janet Napolitano for Homeland Security, Robert Gates for Defense, Rahm Emanuel for chief of staff, Peter Orszag for the Office of Management and Budget, Arne Duncan for Education, Eric Shinseki for Veterans Affairs, Kathleen Sebelius for Health and Human Services, Melody Barnes for the Domestic Policy Council, and more. For the Treasury, three possibilities were on the list: Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, and Timothy Geithner.

This was October 6. The election was November 4. And yet Froman, an executive at Citigroup, which would ultimately become the recipient of the largest bailout from the federal government during the financial crisis, had mapped out virtually the entire Obama cabinet, a month before votes were counted. And according to the Froman/Podesta emails, lists were floating around even before that.

Congress and the President are extremely powerful. But the admin agencies run the government, day-to-day. Their regulations, their interpretations thereof and enforcement (or not) are what constitutes real federal law and power. And the banksters had these pre-picked before the 2008 election. These financial criminals appointed “your” government before you even voted. I say again, your vote means nothing. Literally. And something tells me they had another list in case the President had been a Republican.

Your walking into a voting booth isn’t how it works. This is:

nimbus-image-1476574804197

Email from banking criminal Mike Froman to political criminal John Podesta, Oct. 6, 2008.

You’ll note the lists are arranged in a manner to appease ardent Democratic diversity-mongers: women, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, etc. Rest assured each and every name on the list was vetted to comply with the demands of the financial elite.

The banks were well compensated for this service, for putting together “your” government. Citi received nearly $500 Billion from Uncle Sam during the financial crisis bailouts – the most of any bank. And the Fed printed up and loaned fake money – effectively for free – to Citi and other banks (and not just American banks) to the tune of $15-20 Trillion.

In other words, they robbed you of your vote and your government. They robbed you of your currency and they robbed your children’s futures. That money may be fake but someday they will expect someone to pay it back – ain’t gonna be the banksters.

Please believe these people have a similar plan for this fall. I imagine the lists are already under consideration. There’s growing financial unrest again so it follows the printing presses are being revved up too.

How? Why? It’s because, as George Carlin put it, because they own this place; they own you. They’re going to get it all.

These are same thieves, the same clique of money changing Satanists that Jesus drove out of the Temple with a whip. “My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Jesus, Matt. 21:13 (JKV). When was the last time your Priest or preacher mentioned that? When’s the last time they put it in a modern context. As Christ drove them from the Temple of the Lord, so we should drive them from America into the sea.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:15 (KJV).

Three and a half years ago the wolves pondered ravening against the Catholic Church in America. Wikileaks revealed that current HRC Hitman John Podesta and Sandy Newman of Voices for Communism discussed destroying the Church.

This whole controversy with the bishops opposing contraceptive coverage even > though 98% of Catholic women (and their conjugal partners) have used > contraception has me thinking . . . There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in > which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and > the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the > Catholic church. Is contraceptive coverage an issue around which that could > happen. The Bishops will undoubtedly continue the fight. Does the Catholic > Hospital Association support of the Administration’s new policy, together > with “the 98%” create an opportunity?

– Newman to Podesta, 2/10/12.

The whole exchange (and so much more) can be viewed here, thanks to Wikileaks.

nimbus-image-1476317506175

Wikileaks.

The plot failed to materialize thanks to a lack of leadership. At the time the leadership was busy arming ISIS and looting Libya for the banksters.

As an aside, I found via Wiki a quasi-funny email about the Libyan money too. It had the ring of a Nigerian “Prince” solicitation. Some schmuck in Libya “representing” the interests of the late Gaddafi desperately tried to get a small percentage of the stolen money back. He offered the various banksters a 40/60 split on any returned funds. You can’t con the ultimate and original con men. That money’s gone like the Old Republic. Ha!

Back to the con men, the liars, the wolves in sheep’s clothing and their failed coup against the Church: this raises interesting questions and points:

  • Why hasn’t the Church jumped all over this?
  • What happened to the separation between church and state the liberals always jibber about?
  • If you’re Catholic (or merely of any Christian faith) these people think of you as peasants from the Middle Ages, beholden to your secular lords.
  • They would supplant themselves in place of those lords.
  • They would supplant The Lord with their dark, fallen version.
  • They have no concept of faith beyond earthly power.
  • The Church existed over 1,700+ years before the United States formed.
  • The Church is founded on laws eternal.
  • The U.S. is founded on lies, fraud and force.
  • The Church was still around when the Old Republic fell (recently).
  • The Church will endure long after the Empire is forgotten.
  • If you value freedom and Holy worship, unfettered, then keep your church as far away from the government (any and all) as humanly possible.
  • Let this little peek serve as a warning, be forever vigilant.

Turning The Other Cheek And A Blind Eye: Travails Of The Church

Two months ago I had articles about the rise of the demonic and about the decline of the church when confronted by the demonic. The slide continues.

Today Christopher Manion has a story about the silence of American (and Mexican) Catholic bishops faced with rampant and spreading corruption. Their silence amounts to tacit approval of what are crimes against humanity. Much of this is done (or not done or said) in an attempt to curry political favor from the Empire and the financial procurement which accompanies. They have become modern Pharisees of the first century order.

As Europeans have recently learned to their profound regret, when an immigrant enters a country, he brings his culture with him. That goes for the victims of corruption as well as its perpetrators. When I translate as a volunteer for law enforcement here in the Shenandoah Valley, the uneasy deputy tells me, “get their hands out of their pockets!” I have to explain that they are not reaching for a gun – they’re reaching for bribe money because all of their lives they have had to pay off every man in uniform that they’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter. When they send money to their family back home in Mexico, their family must pay off the police chief, the mayor, and the gang leader in order to survive. That is their culture, whether they are here or there.

Meanwhile, by the time they reach the border coming north, the victims and their victimizers are indistinguishable to the layman’s eye.

Nonetheless, our Catholic bishops want us to welcome them, harbor them, get paid by the federal government to house and to feed them and to give the criminals among them “sanctuary” from our lawful immigration authorities if necessary.

And God forbid that they tell them, “Thou shalt not steal!”

Instead, Catholic bishops and their Mexican counterparts tell the immigrants that they are victims of nativism, xenophobia, bigotry, and other sinful prejudices which, they allege, motivate Americans who oppose granting amnesty to illegal aliens.

While the Sheppards ignore the Gospel, the Traditions, the Canon Law, and even the secular law (what does that leave?), many of the sheep have abdicated. Manion notes that, over the past few decades, 30 million American Catholics have silently slipped away from the Church.

And no-one asks them to return. The decline isn’t even mentioned officially. Rather, the Ecclesiastics and their NGOs merely summon more tax dollars to continue works which will drive away remaining faithful.

Alarmingly, Church Leaders chose their political battles with apparent leftist political determination:

Catholic bishops have indeed been outspoken regarding the objective evil of abortion. However, while they blithely accuse most whites of racism, they are much more reserved when it comes to supporters of “abortion rights.”

In the current political climate, two prominent Catholics, Vice-President Joe Biden, and vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine, share the radical pro-abortion views of President Barack Obama and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Yet the bishops are remarkably reluctant to offend Biden, Kaine, and Clinton by mentioning their names alongside their forceful condemnation of the murder of children in the womb.

Alas, the facts seem to go the other way. In May, Rev. John Jenkins, C.S.C., President of the University of Notre Dame, conferred on Mr. Biden what was once Notre Dame’s highest honor; and in August Mr. Kaine’s Catholic pastor in Richmond, Virginia, Rev. James Arsenault, called for a standing ovation – during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass – to honor Kaine’s selection by Mrs. Clinton. (Father Arsenault did not respond to a request for comment).

The law of the Church, referred to as “Canon Law,” requires that such public scandal as participation in murder or abortion requires a public response on the part of the Church (viz. Canon 915). Apparently, that law is ignored by Catholic bishops as much as the law of the land, once known as the Constitution, is defiantly flouted by the folks in Washington.

So here’s the bottom line: supporting amnesty for illegal aliens is a prime mandate for Catholics: oppose it and your Bishop might well attack you publicly and personally. But support universal, taxpayer-funded abortion on demand, and you need have no fear: as far as our bishops are concerned, you’re anonymous.

They seem to co-opted the government’s own approach to law: adhere to that which serves the agenda, ignore that which inconveniences. These are profound problems for the West, not merely in America alone.

Protestant denominations have it as bad as Catholic, if not worse. A mainline Canadian church parish is currently led by an avowed atheist minister. This is akin to having a Catholic Priest leading an atheist fellowship or a mental defect running a Mensa meeting. The ridiculousness has finally raised enough eyebrows even within the liberal ranks of the United Church; formal removal proceedings are to commence.

The headline asks: “Can an Atheist Lead a Protestant Church?” The answer is a resounding “no” and the fact that such a predicament arose (and is so questioned) testifies to the depth of the problem.

OTTAWA — The Rev. Gretta Vosper is a dynamic, activist minister with a loyal following at her Protestant congregation in suburban Toronto. She is also an outspoken atheist.

“We don’t talk about God,” Vosper said in an interview, describing services at her West Hill United Church, adding that it’s time the church gave up on “the idolatry of a theistic god.”

Vosper’s decision to reject God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and to turn her church into a haven for nonbelievers “looking for a community that will help them create meaningful lives without God” has become too much even for the liberal-minded United Church of Canada.

The United Church, the country’s largest Protestant denomination, has begun an extraordinary process that could end up stripping Vosper of her rights to continue as a minister.

If they don’t talk about God … in a church … then what, pray tell, do they talk about? Securing more tax money for abortions? For non-Western invasion? Do they talk about the terminating the last Christian resistance to the new global order?

hqdefault

And elsewhere. YouTube.

Satan himself couldn’t run a better “church”. This isn’t Protestant. It’s not Christian. It’s not even Churchian. It is an exercise in social suicide and defeatism. Worse (if more honest) than the cotton-candy theology of many modern failed congregations, this woman “Reverend” offers rat poison. Rather a far fall from the Sacramental Offerings of Christ.

Pat Buchanan once penned back-to-back chapters on the simultaneous collapse of the modern Protestant and Catholic Churches. Given the magnitude of the cataclysm it is difficult to discern whether this failing is a cause or a product of the decline of society. Evidence would seem to point to both.

Alas, such betrayals have happened before. We are eternally assured the Gates of Hell shall never prevail against the Church. Still, history makes very clear our own gates shall be tested again and again.

And, what are we to do in such times? Turn the other cheek? Turn a blind eye? Thrice deny?

Or, stand?

This title is a re-working of the command given one or two demons afflicting men of the Gergesenes. See: Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-17 (KJV). Previously the demons forced the men into violent isolation, making them a general nuisance and a menace. Jesus commanded their departure and they left.

I have no such innate power. Yet I see abundant evil – either demonic or of collectively self-inflicted free will – in much of modern life and society. I write about it frequently here and, now, in a few other forums.

demonpossession

TV Tropes.

Often I describe various phenomena as Hellish, Satanic, and demonic. These labels I truly mean and not just as attention getters. Manifestation of evil is everywhere: almost every action of every government; promiscuity of all sorts; debased, low “culture” in music, sports, and entertainment; pagan rituals; outright witchcraft; Satanic invocations at government meetings; reliance (dependence) on the enemies of Christ in life, civic, financial and educational; sloth as far as the eye can see (or stand to look). Worst of all is the false theology espoused by so many in the West – the replacement of God with the state and self-serving cotton-candy irreligious nonsense.

My friends in the Alt-Right describe this fake Christianity as “Churchianity”. It is the belief that by attending some rock and roll church and hearing sermons devoid of meaning that souls are somehow able to lead good, egalitarian lives. It is crippling the West, the very heart of Christendom. Once it shows signs of weakness the forces of evil pounce on it all the harder. It is weakened again and again. To the point of worse than worthlessness – it in fact becomes part of the evil itself.

As positive instruction it is noted that this has all happened before, even in the time of Christ and the Apostles. Jason Charles and Rev. Chuck Baldwin each wrote recently of the demise of so many churches in America, succumbing to the new theology of cultural Marxism (that really is nothing new).

Wrote Charles:

The Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:12 wished castration upon the doctrine perverting Judaized preachers of his day.

“I would they were even cut off which trouble you” Galatians 5:12 (KJV)
“As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!” Galatians 5:12 (NIV)

Neuter: A general term used to describe the castration of a male animal.

Can you imagine? An Apostle of Jesus Christ using this phraseology at all? But he did when addressing the usurping teachers that came in among the congregations of churches that he planted, especially in the Church of Galatia. To get the whole back-story read through Acts Chapter 5, and also read the entire book of Galatians. You will quickly realize he is talking about the Judaizers.

The reason why the Apostle Paul was vehemently opposed to these Judaizers was because in an ultimate sense, it was false doctrine that taught the superiority of the Mosaic Law over Christ. That meant it immediately became a salvation issue for Paul. Therefore he brought it to the wisdom and counsel of the other Apostles in Jerusalem, as seen in Galatians 5. At that counsel the Holy Spirit affirmed the total forsaking of the Judaizers among all congregations in no uncertain terms.

Baldwin notes that many (most?) American churches today are willingly held in line by their IRS 501 status. They dare not preach the actual gospel or analogize it to decadent American society for risk of losing money. Thus, they are little better than the emasculated Pharisees of Paul’s day.

These congregations and their cancerous leaders are to be shunned as they serve no purpose but to call into the world more evil. And the evil keeps coming in.

In addition to ample man-made malady, demonic activity and possession is on the rise across the globe. Wesley Baines interviewed Fr. Gary Thomas, a Vatican trained exorcist. Thomas explained that there is an increasing incidence of possession by fallen spirits which afflicts protestants and atheists as well as Catholics.

The Church has instituted elaborate procedures to ensure that a demon is really a demon rather than being merely a medical or physiological ailment. Once properly identified a demon is cast out by the Power of Christ similar to the above-cited original exorcisms.

Thomas notes that demons react violently to the sacred. I find it interesting that the demons described by Matthew and Mark knew immediately and without need of introduction who Jesus was. This is testament to their nature as well as reassurance of their eventual demise; He commanded and they were forced to obey.

Again, I have no such authority nor do you, except for protection and Grace granted by the Son. The time is now to use said faculty along with free discernment to exorcise from our society those perils of evil tradition. This starts be recognizing what has happened. Reflect on this and compare it to your experience this morning at your church; look around a the failed culture and think.

*Of interest also is the frequency of comments to the above-linked articles suggesting reliance on the Republican Party to cure the afflictions. This is beyond self-defeating as it places undue faith in a member of the viral swarm to cure the illness it helped cause. Political solutions there are not.

Satanic Invocations Over America: Sign of the Times

MRCTV had an interesting, if disturbing, article last week about a city council meeting in Alaska. Like most such affairs in America it was kicked off with a religious invocation. The invocation was unusual in that it was given by some Alaskan satanists.

Let us stand now, unbowed and unfettered by arcane doctrines, born of fearful minds in darkened times. Let us embrace the Luciferian impulse to eat of the tree of knowledge and dissipate our blissful and comforting delusions of old. Let us demand that individuals be judged for their concrete actions, not their fealty to arbitrary social norms and illusory categorizations.

Let us reason our solutions with agnosticism in all things, holding fast only to that which is demonstrably true. Let us stand firm against any and all arbitrary authority that threatens the personal sovereignty of all or one.

That which will not bend must break and that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared its demise. It is done. Hail Satan.

“It is done. Hail Satan.” This is not your grandfather’s country anymore. Such words of “blessing” at a public gathering are unusual but are part of a growing trend. I recently watched a video of a similar spectacle in Pensacola, Florida.

satanism

What. The. Hell? MRCTV.org.

America is, or was, a Christian nation. Naturally, Christian priests and pastors were called on to lead prayers before official meetings. Now, however, in post-American times, cities are caving to the forces of darkness out of fear of lawsuits. The courts and the lawyer class have twisted the First Amendment into a weapon against public morality. I fail to see how having Christian prayers somehow constitutes either the establishment of one religion or the banning of others. To me, it merely reflects respect for the majority sentiment and homage to the wisdom which founded the country. No longer.

In years past the debate sometimes centered on a Catholic invocation versus Protestant. This was not a matter of apples and oranges, but of different types of apples. Christian versus satanic messages isn’t apples and oranges either; it is apples and horseshit. The Alaskan and Floridian satanic messages were less about the devil and more about smart aleck atheism – sly jabs at the Christian faith and believers (which, of course, is the Devil’s work).

The lawyers’ work is done. The courts have ruled. The politicians have caved. Still, it isn’t entirely the government’s fault. Some blame lies with the Christian churches in America, Catholic and Protestant. Pat Buchanan dedicated two, back-to-back chapters in one of his books to this phenomenon. The Catholic Church (Latin [Roman] especially) has done a pitiful job of promoting and defending itself, instead dedicating it’s time to cover-ups and institutionalism for institutionalism’s sake.

The Protestant churches, born of arbitrary changes, have kept on arbitrarily changing to fit the times. Whereas Catholicism has been perceived as not changing enough or not changing at all, the descendants of Calvin and Wesley have changed too much. Some of these have completely ceased to even resemble churches.

I spend a lot of my time on road trips. Often, with nothing to do but drive, I tune in to local Christian stations. I particularly pay attention to broadcasts from older, senior pastors. Most of these are Protestant, frequently Baptist. I’m Catholic but I do love the apples to apples bluntness in the messages. Recently I listened to an independent Baptist preacher in Jacksonville. He decried the rise of “cotton candy” theology and he nailed it as a problem. I paraphrase: The typical “Christian” worship experience at the new, nondenominational mega-“churches” consists of 45 minutes of rock music followed by a 10-15 minute, feel-good sermonette about nothing. He said of this false gospel nonsense: “It tastes good but it isn’t very filling.” He’s right. The majority of our churches have dropped the ball.

The people themselves have done worse. To them goes the lion’s share of responsibility. In a way it is fitting that agents of Lucifer preside over American government gatherings. Most government at any given time and all of them, given enough time, will cross over from being mildly intrusive to completely evil. As that process unfolds today, legions of Americans gleefully anticipate and revere the doings of the state. Many (a huge number, maybe approaching a marjoity) now, in some form or fashion, literally worship the state itself. Government power is now a religion, possibly the largest in the United States. God has nothing to do with it. People may deny this though theirs constant genuflection to the civic altar rather gives them away.

“It is done.” Perhaps it is so. But there is a chance it may still be undone. Praise Jesus!

Jesus told Peter “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” the Church. Matthew 16:18 (KJV). He did not say the Church wouldn’t be tested, attacked. Now, though they cannot beat us ultimately, the legions of hell have indeed come knocking. They’ve made war on churches in the Holy Land and the Middle East for years. Now they are attacking sanctuaries in the heart of Christendom.

The lamentation of the women. When will the men get angry? Daily Mail.

The church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray was already known to police to be on an ISIS hit list. It’s only a short matter of time before the police reveal they were also previously aware of the subject terrorists. Hollande, Merkle and the whole gang of incompetent, suicidal morons running Europe must go – now. If they had good taste, they would resign.

Every morning I read stories (sometimes multiple per day) of attacks against the West. In the evenings I jog at a park while dodging hoards of zombies chasing cartoon characters. I sometimes ponder if I actually shift between dimensions.

This will be the last terrorism-related story I write at least for a while. Let me just predict that the attacks will continue and intensify as the year fails. There is much the common people can do about these atrocities, even without the assistance of our utterly useless governments. In the near future I will publish a guide of sorts on how to fight back.

Fight, now, we must.
