It’s win or lose.

Right now, the losers have it, at least in France. The French decided to forego the pro-French candidate and are even now beginning to reap their rewards. Macron is making the post-Charlie Hebdo temporary emergency police powers permanent.

Emmanuel Macron very quickly made it official: He will introduce a bill which will transform extraordinary state of emergency powers into regular police practice.

According to Le Monde, which saw a leaked copy of the bill: “…almost all the measures of the state of emergency will be found in common law.”

What this means is that the post-Charlie Hebdo war hysteria has not only never stopped, but will have become the new, permanent normal: Anyone can be arrested, searched and detained with just a simple accusation. Judges simply need to be “informed”; police have carte blanche.

So…when can I start referring to France as an “authoritarian state” without getting edited?

Diversity is our strength. It is also a permanent police state. Freedoms lost and the enemy still among them. Nice.

A better, more realistic, and far prettier politician, Rome’s mayor, Virginia Raggi, is screaming for a halt to the invasion. At least a temporary halt.

The mayor of Rome, Virginia Raggi, has asked the Italian government to temporarily halt immigration to the city.

In a letter reportedly sent to Paola Basilone, the prefect of Rome, Raggi (pictured) called for a “moratorium” on new arrivals and said: “I find it impossible, as well as risky, to think up further accommodation structures.”

The mayor, a member of the anti-establishment Five Star Movement political party, explained she was making the request because of the “strong migratory presence” in Rome and “the continued influx of foreign citizens”.

It’s not clear how long the temporary ban, reported by thelocal.it, would last.

According to the most recent figures published in Italy on January 1, 2016, there were 364,632 foreign-born people registered as living in Rome, which has a metropolitan population of about 4.35 million. Foreigners represent about eight per cent of its population.

According to the 2016 census, Italy has a population of about 60.5 million. However, it has experienced a steady flow of African and Middle Eastern migration from Libya in recent years, almost certainly blurring the true picture of how many people live in the country.

Figures released by the National Institute for Statistics in Italy (Istat) today state that more than five million people living in the country are foreign-born – equivalent to about 8.3 percent of the national population.

A temporary ban would be a good temporary start until a permanent ban and deportations can be arranged.

Yes, Virginia, there is a problem. And unless your government and others on the Continent halt it, it is going to overwhelm and destroy Christendom. And soon. The migration is just getting started.

The migrants pouring into Europe have changed routes: the crossing between Turkey and Greece is practically closed, but ever greater numbers are risking their lives to cross the Mediterranean between Libya and Italy.

A criminal industry has flourished, while the European Union has beefed up its border agency Frontex to try to check the mass migration.

Frontex is at once both good cop and bad cop, rescuing migrants from sinking boats but also dropping them off at welcome centres where they risk being sent back home.

Frontex head Fabrice Leggeri summed up the situation in an interview with AFP.

– Who are the migrants? –

On the shores of Greece there are now “80 or 100 people who arrive every day, whereas we had 2,500 a day” before the agreement with Turkey, said Leggeri.

Among those who arrive from Africa via the central Mediterranean and Libya, whose number is up by more than 40 percent, most come from west Africa. They are Senegalese, Guineans, Nigerians. In 2016 they totalled 180,000.

They are mainly economic migrants and include many young men but also families and young women. Nigerian women are often exploited as prostitutes in Europe.

Young men of fighting age, a few prostitutes, and more than a few Jihadists. A lovely, police state-inducing additive. There’s a supply of about 700 MILLION! who would happily invade Europe tomorrow, free transportation allowed. It must stop. The invasion must cease and the existing intruders must be sent home.

The way to stop THIS:

…may be as simple as a law and a sign reading, “No Invaders Allowed.” If that fails…

This Won’t:

Sink the boats or sink the Continent.

And, now, for a closer look at Rome’s leading lady…

Andrew Martin came up with a list of ways to tell if you’re stuck in the pseudo-real modern world. Find the list at Modern Collective (via LewRockwell here). I decided to spice things up and answer the twenty questions or points (in rather short form). Herein I copied the points and italicized my answers after each one.

1. You spend most of your time devoted to paying off a mortgage rather than enjoying life.

I pay a lot of bills – most I’d rather not. Things change.

2. You can’t wait for the weekend to come.

Every day is the weekend (or weekday) for me. It’s nice.

3. You judge your success by the car you drive, the suburb you live in, and the size of the house you own.

I used to but I’m free now – sort of.

4. The wealthy are rewarded for plundering the earth while those trying to save it are ridiculed.

Yes and no.

5. You work in a job you don’t enjoy, thinking the money you earn will offset the misery of working in a job or career you are not passionate about.

My “job” is my passion and visa versa.

6. You think that by a taking a pill your ills will be cured.

No. A cigar, maybe. A pill, no. *Note: I just, today, put the exercise routine into overdrive. There is some … er … chemical stimulation involved. More on that later.*

7. You think that someone focused on eating healthy, organic fresh foods is weird, while eating highly processed, nutrient devoid foods is normal.

We, the healthy, are out of place these days, true; there’s nothing normal about the slow death of fast food even if it has become the norm.

8. You think buying stuff will make you happy.

Only if I can read, smoke, or drink it.

9. You watch the news on television and think this is the truth.

Hahahaha! No.

10. You’re more focused on your favourite sports team than concerned about the natural world and environment on which you depend for survival.

No. I live outside the cave.

11. You believe growth and the development of the economy is a good thing and that globalization creates jobs.

Yes and no.

12. You conform with the status quo and never question why things are done.

Show me a rule and I immediately start thinking of ways to break it.

13. You think traffic congestion, pollution, and sensory overload are part of normal everyday life.

For the masses, yes; for me, no.

14. You think there is a difference between political parties and that they will enact real change.

Hahahahahahaha!!! Good one.

15. You think there are terrorists around every corner and they are a threat to you and your community, despite the fact that you have 150 times more chances of being hit by lightning than being involved in a terrorist attack.

Woah! I get a lot of traffic from exposing the war. I do also acknowledge it is a byproduct and relatively easily cured.

16. You think eating genetically modified food and eating fruit and vegetables sprayed with pesticides is OK.

Wash ’em and it should be okay – on the 100 year average.

17. You think the mainstream media is independent and unbiased.

Stop! My sides hurt.

18. You think constant distraction through the media such as sport, trivial affairs, and celebrity gossip is news.

Whenever I stoop to hear some BS celebrity nonsense (rare) my first thought is always, “Okay, what are THEY doing now”.

19. You think living next to a cell tower is cool because you get better reception.

For me this is a slight (very slight) convenience. The rest of you should read up on EM fields and cancer.

20. You wait in line for the next release of the latest technological gadget

I don’t wait in lines and (despite making a living with it) I hate technology.

Warner Bros.

That’s what I got. I do not live in the Matrix, per say. However, I can visit it at will and frequently do – for now.

Try this quiz for yourself. In the original article some solutions to modern madness are offered. A few of these border on the … hippy-ish. Not to worry. As long as you’re aware of the problem, solutions will come along. Just know when to grab one.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m not going to watch TeeVee.

Votez Le Pen!

Sauvez la France!

Vive la France!

Vive la l’ouest!

Vive la liberté!

On That White Privilege Thing

App. State, civilization, Fred Reed, SJW, society, white privilege

Yesterday, I remembered once reading about “white privilege” at Appalachian State University. All schools, it seems, have a horde of SJWs hell-bent on pointing out privilege and whining about it. I though this particular story was interesting, because Boone. The resident multi-culti association put a display in the student center attacking straight, white, Christian men – all the rage, don’t you know.

I checked with their “diverse” school website and got a good chuckle. It’s nice that these hateful but generally harmless people are no longer confined to padded rooms in a hospital.

It was Fred Reed’s take on the matter, yesterday that made me remember the App. State episode.

Look around your university. Who do you see taking the hard subjects–math, chemistry, physics, engineering, philosophy, computer science? Whites and Asians…right? Are they the kind of people who complain constantly about White Privilege? You may notice a pattern here: Those who can, do. The rest bitch and moan.

How about your own classes? You are not blind. If you think for yourself, you can see who the smart ones are, and who are those getting a free ride. Usually, a free ride at your expense. Your professors will not want you to notice this either. The question is whether you have been so profoundly brainwashed that you cannot see the obvious.

Being very young, you will probably have little idea of the vast body of knowledge, won over millenia, behind all the things you take for granted. At your age, I didn’t either. It takes years to get a handle on things. It will be harder for you because your universities will discourage you from looking around you. But glance at the very partial list below (I paste from an ancient column of mine) to get an idea of what the white race has done over the centuries. You will never have heard of many of these things. And that is curious. While your nose is being rubbed into the virtues, often real, sometimes imagined, of other groups, your own race is seldom motioned except to revile it.

Euclidean geometry. Parabolic geometry. Hyperbolic geometry. Projective geometry. Differential geometry. Calculus: Limits, continuity, differentiation, integration. Physical chemistry. Organic chemistry. Biochemistry. Classical mechanics. The indeterminacy principle. The wave equation. The Parthenon. The Anabasis. Air conditioning. Number theory. Romanesque architecture. Gothic architecture. Information theory. Entropy. Enthalpy. Every symphony ever written. Pierre Auguste Renoir. The twelve-tone scale. The mathematics behind it, twelfth root of two and all that. S-p hybrid bonding orbitals. The Bohr-Sommerfeld atom. The purine-pyrimidine structure of the DNA ladder. Single-sideband radio. All other radio. Dentistry. The internal-combustion engine. Turbojets. Turbofans. Doppler beam-sharpening. Penicillin. Airplanes. Surgery. The mammogram. The Pill. The condom. Polio vaccine. The integrated circuit. The computer. Football. Computational fluid dynamics. Tensors. The Constitution. Euripides, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Aeschylus, Homer, Hesiod. Glass. Rubber. Nylon. Skyscrapers. The piano. The harpsichord. Elvis. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. (OK, that’s nerve gas, and maybe we didn’t really need it.) Silicone. The automobile. Really weird stuff, like clathrates, Buckyballs, and rotaxanes. The Bible. Bug spray. Diffie-Hellman, public-key cryptography, and RSA. Et cetera at great length.

If you talk about these things on campus, you will be called a “white supremacist.” This is silly. But calling you a racist is an effective way of making you shut up. Do you want to be supreme over anyone? I do not. Yet other races are proud of their achievements. Why should you not be? Ask where they would be without electricity, sterile water, telephones and–well, just about everything.

Fred points out that bragging is inappropriate – as is taking abuse for nothing. A little humble pride in achievement goes a long way. Maybe the others will be motivated to get off their low horse and excel. Maybe…

WhiteMen1

Nothing to see here. Just mean, old, white men at work, exploring the universe. Fred / NASA.

Of course, if the Apple State-ling Gang was really serious about doing something to terminate modern civilization white society, then they would join this yahoo in Minnesota.

Or, better yet, they could support these causes.

Or they could just shut the hell up. I suspect that is the native reaction around Boone. But, of course, I think, suspect, and type from privilege. Wonderful, wonderful, white privilege.

Living: the Best and Worst Places on Earth

Another set of best/worst places just came out.

Mercer, the world’s largest human resources consulting company, has recently published its 19th annual rankings, naming the world’s best and the worst cities to live in.

For the eighth year in a row, Vienna took the top spot on Mercer’s chart of 230 cities. In fact, most of the best cities on the list can be found in Western Europe — namely Switzerland and Germany. Baghdad was named as the worst place for quality of living, being put at the very bottom of the list. One of the largest cities of the Middle East with a population of nine million people, Baghdad is the least safe city in the world with its constant terrorist attacks and high levels of kidnapping and banditry.

This year, infrastructure was ranked separately. According to Mercer, “city infrastructure plays an important role when multinationals decide where to establish locations abroad and send expatriate workers. Easy access to transportation, reliable electricity, and drinkable water are all important considerations when determining hardship allowances based on differences between a given assignee’s home and host locations.”

Other essential factors include: consumer goods, economic environment, housing, medical and health considerations, natural environment, political and social environment, public services and transport, recreation, education and socio-cultural environment.

Mercer / Sputnik.

I’m not big on the slide presentation but the juxtapositions are interesting. The top cities are all either European or Euro-centric. The worst are all African or Afro-centric. This, in part, explains the desperate immigration/invasion trends and the”refugees”. It also suggests the potential dangers of importing people from places they ruined into better places (that the can also ruin). There is no magic dirt. Additionally, this also subtly speaks against the general idea of equality. All people and all places, it turns out, may not be equal after all.

“Mixed” cities do not appear on the list at either end – looking at you, America. Food for thought. If one thinks…

For some inexplicable reason voters in the Netherlands don’t feel 100% inclined, yet, to protect themselves or their culture. Yet. Geert W. suffered a setback on his way to becoming Prime Minister, for now. The Dutch will wake up sooner or later. Hopefully, sooner.

In the U.S., judges from Maryland to Hawaii continue to illegally obstruct lawful efforts to secure America’s borders and halt the in-flow of terrorists. They won’t succeed and they should be dealt with. Some foolishly cling to the idea that incompatible barbarians have some right to American education and research opportunities.

The academic interests of the Mohammedans reach far and wide. They feel it in Australia.

Teachers at a primary school in Sydney, Australia have been threatened with beheading and other violence from young Islamic students, prompting one of them to quit her job.

Students as young as those in Year 5, according to the Daily Telegraph, are making the violent threats and pressuring others to read the Koran at Punchbowl Public School in Sydney.

Documents given to the newspaper allege that three staff members have taken a leave of absence owing to stress, received counselling and been awarded compensation after bullying from Islamic students.

One female teacher reportedly quit her job after it got too much for her. She claims she quit after receiving death threats to her family from her year 5 and 6 students, with some saying they would behead her.

The teacher also said she made numerous complaints back in 2014 about the extraordinary behavior in the class. For example, she said, she was abused by students after she stopped them from hanging a Syrian flag in the classroom.

Perhaps these are the scholarly benefits sought by the Ninth Circuit – threatened decapitation over an alien flag. Culture. Diversity. Strength.

Of course, the subject school system is playing dumb: “see no jihad, hear no jihad, …”.

It’s getting harder to ignore the obvious in war-torn France. Citizens there, 60% of them, say they no longer feel safe in their own country.

The survey found that 93 per cent of French believe the threat of more terror attacks is high, and 71 per cent feel the security situation in France has got worse over the last five years.

More broadly, 59 per cent of those polled said they did not feel safe anywhere, with almost one in four (24 per cent) opting to “strongly agree” with the statement.

Reflecting the insecurity respondents said they felt, 69 per cent think the police and gendarmerie are understaffed, and the survey found the French overwhelmingly have a positive view of law enforcement.

The vast majority of respondents (88 per cent) believe France should deport foreigners sentenced to prison for serious offences, and 84 per cent want the country to create more prison places.

A slight majority (55 per cent) would like to see France exit the European Union’s open borders Schengen zone.

Don’t these cheese-eating bigots know these are the exact same kind of sentiments that elected the racist Donald Trump? A few more surveys like this and Marine le Pen will be their next President. Then they’ll have France for the French once more. And, then, where will they be? Not too diverse…

But the French have many, many good reasons to fear they are losing their nation. Shortly after the survey results were published yet another radical scholar attempted to bring the blessings of globalist, Satanic, multiculturalism to the infidels of Paris.

A convicted criminal with links to radical Islam has been shot dead at Paris Orly airport after trying to wrestle a soldier’s gun from her and fleeing into a McDonald’s.
Less than two hours earlier the man, identified by police sources as Zied B., had shot a female police officer in the head in a northern Paris suburb during a routine stop-and-search.

The man’s father and brother have been taken into custody, judicial sources have confirmed, and the attacks are being investigated by France’s anti-terrorism prosecutor.

After the police shooting in the suburb of Stains, at around 6.55am, the 39-year-old fled in a Renault Clio, which was found abandoned 11 miles away.

He then hijacked a woman’s Citroen Picasso at gunpoint, and this second car was later found parked at the airport.

Today’s incidents come as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visit Paris, where they have met with victims of terrorism.

The man killed at the airport had previously been jailed for drug trafficking and authorities believe he was radicalised in prison.

He has not been formally identified, but was a homeless French national on the run from the authorities, according to police sources.

Even and William and Kate met with victims of the Bataclan and Nice attacks, more attacks unfolded. Not safe at the beach. Not safe on the sidewalk. Not safe in the theater. Not safe on the streets. Not safe in cars. Not safe in the airport. It seems that 60% may be on to something. The only good news, here, is that there is one less radical running loose.

It’s not just France, Australia, and the U.S. Every single country of the West is under assault. Barring a retreat into the terror-free, people-free, convenience-free forests and wilderness, there really are no places to run to nor to hide in these days.

The fleeing option removed, that only leaves fighting. Let’s get ready.

America, civilization, culture, English, Fred Reed

This is a must read for the Anglophiles.

Fred Reed, in one essay, explains both his family tree and the precipitous decline of a civilization.

We were part of a thing brief but of immense value. The literacy, the attention to language, was of one cloth with that of the English, whose mastery has never been equaled and seldom approached. It has lasted in the family. In evenings with my grandfather at Hampden-Sydney, a parlor game was to call out three numbers–“746, 2, 7”–page 746, column 2, seventh entry of a huge dictionary on onion-skin paper–whereupon the caller-out had to spell the word, define it, pronounce it correctly, and give the etymology.

Tidewater was in the current of the English stretching from at least Sir Philip Sydney through Lewis Carol, Milne, Galsworthy, Kipling, Tolkien, Churchill and a hundred others. A thousand others. This virtuosity is now lost beyond redemption as American society, once determined from the top down, has come to be determined from the bottom up. Can you imagine an American politician writing—well, anything literate, but especially the equal of Churchill’s A History of the English Speaking People?

But we were speaking of the curious continuity of families. Come the war, Charles Scott Venable served on Lee’s staff, and Andrew Reid Venable on Jeb Stuart’s. This was a continuation of the aristocratic sense of duty. Their country was being invaded by alien people and they, like Lee, like Jackson, determined to defend it. Both were graduates of Hampden-Sydney, as am I, as were my father and uncle.

After the war Charles Venable was an astronomer and professor of mathematics at the University of Virginia. My grandfather processed mathematics at Hampden-Sydney and served as dean. My paternal uncle passed the bar but chose journalism, my father being a mathematician. I am whatever I am–for years I worked my way through math texts because I liked them–and my daughters are, aside from being smart, a musician and an artist. One of them popped ninety-ninth percentile in math on some standardized test and was invited to attend a math camp. A weird continuity.

America is not, or was not, ever, a “nation of immigrants”, a “proposition nation”. Ronald Reagan and a thousand shrieking loony liberals and cuck apologists aside, this country was an extension of Old England. Until the early 1800s, this was a land of the English. For another 100 years or so it was a land of the English and those of European descent who closely approximated the English tradition and experience. It is only since 1966 that the character has changed. And the change is noticeable.

I have seen, firsthand, the change and decline. The Lovetts came to America in two waves. One assigned to New England and the Puritan settlements. The other, my closest kin, like Fred’s people, settled in Virginia. Unlike his folks, mine departed South for the Carolinas and Georgia.

My family history (much of it) strangely tracks that path Fred lays out, from at least 1066 and on-wards.  It ends with me and my daughter in the 21st Century. My little girl was born into a society which somewhat resembled the one I witnessed in the 70’s and 80’s – a little.

b7d7782350bdf324b86d3c70429dda6a

I saw the changes as they unfolded. I would like to go back. Whether that is possible remains to be seen. If it is not, then damn it. All of it.

European Court of Justice: States Can Refuse “Refugees”

"Refugees", civilization, Europe, immigration, invasion, law, Merkel, Ninth Circuit, The West

There is (or was) a trend in American jurisprudence to show deference to foreign legal precedents. Prior to the 21st Century this was limited almost entirely to decisions under English Common Law; occasionally a Court would site some archaic principle from ancient Greco-Roman-Anglo tradition. Then, liberals decided to open things up, scouring the globe for any shred of justification for dismantling U.S. laws and freedoms.

Here’s one new high court decision from Europe they might be slow to embrace:

Europe’s top court has ruled that European Union member states aren’t obliged to grant humanitarian visas to people who want to enter their territory to apply for asylum.

The decision announced Tuesday came after a Belgian court in October ordered the government to give humanitarian visas to a family in war-torn Syria.

The European Court of Justice ruled that allowing people to choose where to get international protection would undermine the EU system establishing which country should handle asylum applications.

It said that EU law only lays out the procedures and conditions for issuing visas to transit through or stay on the territory of a member state for up to 90 days.

But the Luxembourg-based court said member state courts remain free to rule on visas under national law.

Europe is under literal siege from hordes of “refugees” – mostly fighting-aged men fleeing to better welfare and criminal opportunities. Even the dullest of the globalist cabal begin to see there is a terrible problem brewing.

Even Angela Merkel and her gaggle of anti-Western autocrats realized, in 2015, they were making a terrible mistake allowing in so many unassimilable third-worlders. Yet they feared denials would violate E.U. laws. Their former fears were very justified, the latter turned out to be completely fictional.

Compare and contrast the ECJ’s ruling to the recent rank stupidity from the Ninth Circuit:

…the Executive Order’s effect on their faculty and students who
are nationals of the seven affected countries. These students
and faculty cannot travel for research, academic
collaboration, or for personal reasons, and their families
abroad cannot visit. Some have been stranded outside the
country, unable to return to the universities at all.

The Ninth essentially said, “To hell with law and order, Mohammed has a right to learn a faster way to synthesize TATP while his family lives on the dole. So eat it, America!”

Granted, things are a little worse in Europe, now, than in America. Still, in order to build diverse inclusivity and other liberal, talking point, buzz phrases, Trump should challenge the Ninth to be more open to international law. Be trendy, be hip, and block the invasion before we turn into Germany.

Much has been made of the lauded “Day Without Immigrants”. I think this refers to a day (maybe today) when non-American invaders slack off with the crime, terrorism, and general nuisance. They seem to think people will notice the lack and want more. I’m not sure how this helps them.

Anyway, the dwindling ranks of taxpaying citizens in Los Angles were recently treated to a Day WITH Immigrants, courtesy of the “students” at Grover Cleveland High “School”.

“Students” Brawl:

This video shows scenes reminiscent of a third world prison riot. One would not be able to convince Grover Cleveland that this was, in fact, America.

And it isn’t. The student body at GCHS is only about 17% American. This mirrors the demographics of the entire Los Angeles Unified “School” District. This is the new Amerika, that post-1965 dystopian melting pot everyone is talking about. And it is spreading.

Soon, your child’s zoo school could host such exciting events. Except, perhaps, for one day per year without the joy of multiculturalism. It may not be an education (most assuredly will not be) but it will be an experience. Make sure your kids wear helmets.

McMurry University a Methodist college formerly Christian college in Texas has opened up a prayer room just for Muslims.

The Methodist-affiliated McMurry University dedicated the space in one of the school’s residential dorms for its Muslim students’ daily prayers.

Before its creation, Muslim students met for prayer in a nearby hotel, a student who helped establish the new prayer room told The College Fix in an interview.

That student, Joe Yousef, is president of McMurry’s Saudi Student Club. Of the roughly 1,000 students attending McMurry, about 60 are Muslim and many come from Saudi Arabia, Yousef said.

Yousef said now that Muslim students have a prayer room on campus, it will be much easier for them to meet both their religious and scholastic obligations.

Could these be the same scholarly pursuits the Ninth Circuit was concerned about? TATP 101, etc.?

Some students are also supportive.

“Being Christians, we should be open to free religion and letting everyone do what they want to do and I think the Muslim prayer room gives them that chance,” student Hector Flores told BigCountry.com.

Being a Christian does not mean “letting everyone do what they want to do”. Or, at least it didn’t to Christ. Actual Christian schools used to get that. But, here and now, I suppose McMurry is just extending the same sort of courtesy that Saudi colleges lend their numerous Christian students. Oh. Wait. No…

I checked and McMurry has a Center for Community Inclusion AND! a Diversity Affairs Council. And that’s as far as I checked. These names are mere code for anti-Western and anti-Christian. It’s probably safe to dispense with McMurry if one wants an education or a Christian experience. SJWs, feel welcomed! Volunteer for the exciting and diverse TATP 101 Lab – it’s a blast!
