…the Russians will. Read about a continuing program, in Russia, to preserve a remnant of Western European Civilization.

“I think that Russia’s mission is to preserve European culture, and not let it die. Russia is not only an inheritor of Europe’s great culture, but, maybe, today it is its only and main champion,” he said in a video address to the participants of a roundtable meeting at the Russian State Duma (Parliament House) dedicated to the establishment of the public movement – “Russia’s Cultural Front”.

The prominent director noted that he supports the idea of such a Movement and is set to join it: “Russia will be carrying the flag of European civilization for the world.”

Vladimir Putin has mentioned this sentiment, usually with a spirit of one-sided friendship, several times over the past year. The terrible irony is that from Poland to Germany to England to the USSA, one moron after another keeps insisting Russia is the enemy. They so insist while tearing down any and all semblance of what they’re ancestors built and while trying hard in many cases to replace their own peoples with outsiders. The only noticeable outside crowd that cares? Russians.

Europe will free and rebuild itself. And one suspected longer-term goal of Russia’s SMO+ is to eventually help with that. With friends like these, Europe should be grateful.

Alabama, Christianity

Christianity reportedly falters in Alabama as elsewhere.

Dwindling attendance by an increasingly elderly congregation at a historic Alabama church has prompted the difficult decision to close its doors for good, with the final worship service held this Sunday after 182 years.

“There is a certain sadness,” said Sharon Eich, lay pastor of Five Mile Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. She said the congregation “has been such a beacon to the community for so long,” al.com reported Friday.

Maybe it’s unrelated to the general decline. Maybe it’s MR. Sharon the lay pastor. Maybe Mrs./Ms. Sharon was the last lay person standing. Maybe a long series of tragedies prevented the now 80-year-old congregants from keeping children and grandchildren in the church. A lot of maybes, but a conclusive conclusion.

Outside of TLM Sede Catholics, some Orthodox churches, and a few “primitive” Evangelical denominations, it’s either this story or wokedom come.

‘Murica needs a Revival.

CIA, JFK, NASA hoax, RT, Russia

Story One: RT heralds RFK, Jr. for (again) plainly stating the CIA murdered his uncle (and probably his father).

The CIA was behind the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1963 and likely involved in the murder of US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. alleged during an interview with WABC radio host John Catsimatidis on Sunday.

“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in [JFK’s] murder,” Kennedy declared, describing it as “beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.”

The story ends with a rehashing of the 1967 CIA CYA memo on “conspiracy theories”, literally the deflective genesis of that idiotic phrase. You may remember that same memo, here, some time ago. (Here now, or RT later). Rt didn’t cover it (though I have), but the 1962 CIA-DOD memo on Operation Northwoods (9/11 -39 years), and JFK’s wise, angry rejection of the same that was one of four likely reasons why they murdered America’s last president who really thought he was the chief executive and acted like it. Not to worry, I’m sure the CIA is A-OK now…

Hand on to your tin foil! RT ain’t done. NASA’s manned Moon landing was just as real as Star Trek!

The former head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency, Dmitry Rogozin, has expressed doubt that the US Apollo 11 mission really landed on the Moon in 1969, saying he has yet to see conclusive proof.

1… 2… 3… CoNSpRaCy tHeOry!!! Seriously, NASA still has the telemetry tapes… No, no, they “lost” those. The Moon rocks! Those are totally … fake, an unexplained chemical composition impossibility. Stanley Kubrick was onse … no, that doesn’t help. Hey! the set was so real, they used it in a Bond mov… Darn! There’s um, the er … those guys who told the other guys they went.

Ok, for those upset about the foregoing, keep the dreams alive! To help, here’s Gamazda with “Don’t Stop Believing”:

Oops, sorry. She’s Russian too (but do back up and watch her adorable English promo). Hang on… Here’s the same tune as accompanied by 65,000 MSU fans:

Hail State!

Heck, let’s shift gears completely and keep that last theme going a minute longer. A couple of years ago in St. Louis, they started doing the coolest thing:

Blues, just a suggestion, but how about retiring and raising a “Branigan 52” jersey?

Reverse Imperialism and Europe

decline, Empire, Europe, France, monarchy

Elements posted an interesting take on the slow slide of post-modern Europe. Mechanical translation:

The decline of Europe

For Julien Freund, decadence is an inevitable historical phenomenon. To use the subtitle of his work Decadence, of a « category of human experience ». The philosopher thus recalls that « every great civilization has its Barbarians, which it tries to conquer, with the more or less firm will to assimilate them until the moment when it finds that the relationship has been reciprocal and that it is itself exhausted in this game ». In fact, « its decadence is already part of its expansion ».

As Vox has said, empire is the art of choosing which foreigners will rule over one’s grandchildren. Europeans chose very poorly.

The solution, beyond the obvious need to remove the reverse conquerors, may come from some of the ideas in Terry Hulsey’s new book. Crisis, perhaps recovering a little from its COVID-Ukraine stupor (now do V2!), has an interesting defense of monarchy by Robert Shaffern:

The French monarchy has often been described as absolute, but that word poorly describes the actual regime. Many government responsibilities lay beyond the authority of the throne. While the French king was the only source of legislation for the entire realm, the king’s decrees only became efficacious when they were registered by the Parlement of Paris; thus, at the very least, the wishes of the king could be delayed. Both the British and French monarchies had to obtain the approval of the Parliament and Estates General, respectively, to collect new taxes.

The Enlightenment notion that king = bad, and muh democracy = good is part of what has led Europe, the USSA, and the rest of the West to the brink of utter disaster. Here’s hoping our future may look a little more like our past.

The UK and the Demographic Trap

A concise afterthought summary of Douglas Murray’s recent piece might as well be, “should have listened to Enoch Powell!”

The more I look at the UK, the more it seems to me to have changed utterly. Is all of that change bad? No. But is all of it good? Definitely not. There remain pockets of the country that are recognisable, but the idea that we any longer have a coherent country, with a coherent set of values, ideas or beliefs, disappeared years ago. We are a collection of communities. Buy your way into one of the richer ones and you can still have a wonderful life – even a recognisable one. Fail to get your crampons into that and you will have to live in the confused mêlée that a generation of politicians has cast you into.

That’s the UK, not the USSA. As I keep telling my English friends, now, yesterday even is the time for emergency military action. Maybe they can convince their German King to do it to save the climate or something. If not, there is no guarantee we’ll always have England.

UPDATE: Vox Day posted an epic thought regarding the coronation:

The only way the coronation could have gone well is if Charles had accepted the crown, then personally executed that satanic Archbishop of Canterbury, whose pretense to Christian authority has been openly rejected by the greater part of the global Anglican Church, with the Sword of State. After which, he would have declared English sovereignty and ordered the deportation of Rishi Sunak and all the other fake English grandees present.

I too was surprised none of that happened.

arrest, Gonzalo Lira, Ukraine, War

Gonzalo Lira was arrested again by the SBU Ukranazis a day ago. Let’s hope this is just another case of the traditional spring temporary detainment of Coach Red Pill. Something tells me it is not, however.

The SBU has also accused him of denying the facts of Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and the mass killings of civilians by the invading forces.

During a search of his possessions, law enforcement officials found mobile phones and a computer that contained evidence of his illegal activity.

He has been remanded in custody by the court, and the investigation is ongoing.

As Gonzalo is a dual US citizen, I’m sure Tony Blinken (like a kitchen roach when the lights come on) and his team are hard at work to free Gonzalo the way they would a drugged-out lesbian basketball star.

A queer, made for TV video of the raid and arrest is available here. As NATO only has PR stunts and terrorism left in its dwindling bag of tricks, both are strong in this case.

Remember this episode the next time “Joe Biden”, Joe Wilson, or some other political Joe babbles about muh free press, muh free speech, or muh democracy. Prayers for Gonzalo, his family and friends, and all who appreciated his timely, unbiased, and high risk reporting.

cities, demographics, Vox Day

Vox has some interesting commentary on a recent article about the steady, obvious decline of urban areas and city life.

While Hoyt has finally come to terms, more or less, with the fact that she is not an American despite her acceptance of many American ideals, apparently it is still too emotionally painful to point out that the reason for the death of the cities is that white people, particularly white Americans, do not wish to live around black people or under immigrant rule.

And these days, living in a major city requires both.

She correctly notes that the major cities are now unliveable, but the reasons that she provides are merely consequences of the real reasons. Detroit was 91 percent white in 1940, with a population of 1,623,452. In 2020, the city was 11 percent white, with a population of 639,111. This demographic change is not the result of “crime, malfeasance, and bureaucratic hatred”, but rather the cause of it.

That same process is already taking place in the suburbs and smaller cities. The problem is that in the USA, Europe, and Australia, there is nowhere else to go. And once there is nowhere further for whites to retreat, the empire will collapse in violence, if it has not already for other reasons.

“Get out of the cities” is still, for now, good advice. But, sooner than many expect, the problems will plight formerly pleasant areas too. At some point, turning and fighting will be the only option. Yes, the US alone is enormous and offers many remote places where one could ride out the rest of whatever and never even know what happened. But that would require a substantial tradeoff most won’t even consider. Here’s to one day making civilization civilized again.

Joe Wilson, Russia, WW3

Then thank Joe Wilson (R-Israel) and his gang of 18 (D/R – Israel).

Marvel at H.Res. 322. There’s a good breakdown at The Duran.

And what timing! The pathetic drone attack on the Kremlin did not appear to really rile Putin or the MOD. Yet, more than a few intelligent observers think this is the trigger that will push this thing to the next level (Bye-bye, Lil’ Ze). Read what M. K. Bhadrakumar wrote the other day.

Read that, and I may (or may not) comment further in next week’s column. Quick take: HR 322 is mostly irrelevant as are all things political. Still a stupid, evil idea. War? Not fully hot, yet. When or if it does … Maybe more next week. The Russians will continue to win their way. The USSA will continue to lose its way. There are some charts, trends, and TOE matters to look at. Etc.

Have a great weekend.

*Hello new readers. Glad you’re along for the madness. As ever, quality will improve tomorrow.

evil, Florida, free speech, GOP, Israel, Ron DeSantis

This guy gets it. Stew Peters gets it. Ron and his fellow Fler-i-duh GOP cucks are anti-free speech, anti-American, anti-Christian, and pro-satanism. Great everyone is noticing. I noticed when Ronny flew to Occupied Palestine the first time, four years ago, to sign a similar illegal law. (Entirety at TPC).

The crazy thing here, is that all this kneeling down was probably done sua sponte. Jerusalem Post editor: “Huh? Who’s here to do what, now? Really! That’s just embarrassing. Someone elected this fool?”

And, for what? The law will not survive a court challenge (one has already been filed). Even as state after state passes law after law like this, they are quickly struck down. Texas is the latest example. A federal judge enjoined enforcement of a similar Texas measure designed to stifle public discourse, writing, “This the First Amendment does not allow.”

Why the rush, nation-wide, to abridge the freedoms of American citizens for the alleged benefit of foreigners? And, why is it always, always for the benefit of the one party? No state passes laws to discourage anti-Messianism. I know of no prohibition against Europhobia. And, those might be of benefit to Americans.

Once again, it’s here today, or elsewhere in a few years. Go VOAT or something!

Gordon Lightfoot, music

A sadder Music Minute, earlier this week.

Gordon Lightfoot, the legendary folk singer whose silvery refrains told a tale of Canadian identity that was exported to listeners worldwide, has died at 84.

…

“We have lost one of our greatest singer-songwriters,” tweeted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau late Monday.

That odd moment when one agrees with Fidel, Jr.
