The Invasion Brings POS-COM Back to the News

As we witness another immigration record, the President is deploying the military to stem the tide. In telling us about Pentagram resistance to the idea, CNN’s fakers recall the Posse Comitatus Act.

My 2013 Expose on the Act

The exception riddling does make the President’s actions possible and legal. This is, in fact, an emergency and an invasion. It’s funny how the likes of the fake news suddenly discover the rule of law when they think it fits their brand of lawlessness. They don’t understand it, reality, or the Constitution. Ann Coulter does.

Actual invasions should be met with actual consequences.

I don’t subscribe to Jane’s, but I understand there are at least a few functioning Thunderbolts left in service. One is all it would take to stop the newest foreign invasion column. The one that really IS a national emergency.

So, for the second time this year, it appears President Trump is ready to send more US troops to the border, as he said in a tweet Monday morning that he’d notified the border patrol and military that this is a “national emergency” while reiterating that the blame lay with Democrats for refusing to change our “pathetic” immigration laws.

The president also claimed that “unkown Middle Easterners” had become “mixed in” with the caravan.

And since Honduras and Guatemala did nothing to stop the migrants despite Trump’s requests for assistance, the president added that we would be cutting off aid: “We will now begin cutting off, or substantially reducing, the massive foreign aid routinely given to them.”

7,000 strong, well funded, growing and advancing daily. They’re not coming to as refugees; they can’t. Refugees must stop in the first “safe” country they come to. That’s MEX, not the USA. They’re not coming to assimilate. At best, they’re coming to loot. At worst, to conquer. That’s what invasion columns on the ground do. Luckily we have an aerial platform to deal with that threat.

And, no, there is no reason to actually shoot any of these invaders. Here’s how it could work:

  1. Tell MEX to stop them or there will be immediate (but very limited) US military intervention (we do this all the time – we’ve done it with MEX and they’ve done it with us);
  2. Hold off until the column is in the clear, with a long stretch of highway ahead;
  3. Have a single A-10 fly over them as low and slow as possible – let them see it;
  4. A-10 peels back around, very slowly, and then – miles ahead of the front of the column, sets up a gun run;
  5. Engage GAU-8 Avenger canon – cease firing well ahead of closest hostiles so as to leave them completely unharmed but very scared (the sight and the sound);
  6. Another low, slow fly-over, this time dropping leaflets, “You Have To Go Back.”

They would.

Why Hasn’t This Option Been Floated Before Now?

President Trump, in a Tweet (always), says he will deter the latest migrant invasion with the National Guard (if he has to).

Donald Trump threatened on Thursday to seal America’s southern border with military force unless Mexico intervenes to stop the flow of illegal immigrants traveling to the U.S. from Central America.

The stern, tweeted warning came as a group of more than 4,000 travels north through Mexico in the hope of reaching the United States, despite having no visas or other legal papers to enter.

Trump blamed his Democratic rivals for the resulting chaos, saying ‘they want Open Borders and existing weak laws.’

He resurrected the claim that launched his White House campaign in 2015, saying that ‘this large flow of people’ includes ‘MANY CRIMINALS’ and putting the words in uppercase letters for effect.

‘I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught – and if unable to do so I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!’ Trump wrote.

Okay. Proceed, Mr. President. This particular caravan, 4,000 strong, is just the latest formed column. A similar number of criminal invaders enter the US every four days or so – one, two, ten at a time and here and there. Make no mistake, this is an actual invasion. Because it’s migration-based, history shows that it’s worse than literal war.

Why hasn’t the military been deployed much earlier? Like in January of 2017? And will the military also scour the country for the supporters of the invading forces, those assorted enemy combatants, traitors to the Republic?

Time will tell. Unless it runs out. One might say, “time is of the essence.”

WaPo’s Charles Lane bemoans the increasing fear factor in and around political/societal discussions.

The report by More in Common, a new nonprofit dedicated to understanding and healing political polarization in the United States and Europe, is based on a nationwide survey of nearly 8,000 people conducted this past December and January.

It found that between 51 and 66 percent of Americans agree there is “pressure to think a certain way about” each of the aforementioned topics, with immigration seen as the least sensitive and Islam the most.

As Congress abdicates its role, columnist E.J. Dionne Jr. says voters must take up the role of checking President Trump. (Adriana Usero/The Washington Post)

Meanwhile, 68 percent report that “it is acceptable for me to express what I think” about race, or Islam, only among “people who are like me.” On immigration, 73 percent feel that way; on gay, lesbian and gender issues, the figure is 70 percent.

This is understandable considering the SJW swarms and the increasingly violent behavior of the radical left. The op-ed is okay: some general pandering to the history of speech policing, etc. And, they just can’t help but add a dose of irony – there’s a link to something about checking Trump’s autocratic, blah, blah, blah. It’s ironic because Trump is the one steady figure demonstrating how to just dispense with the fear and say it anyway.

He usually says it by Tweeting it. Like this one:

President Trump on Tuesday called adult-film star Stormy Daniels “Horseface” and threatened to “go after” her after he won a court victory over his alleged mistress.

“’Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials [sic] lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.’ @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!’ he tweeted.

BAM!

One will note that Trump keeps doing this kind of thing and it all keeps working for him. This will too.

The lesson is: 1) live in fear and self-censor and watch the causes for self-censor multiple, or; 2) Just say it, win, and laugh while the nuts cry.

DOW, economics, economy, Federal Reserve, Sears, Trump

As the DOW goes through another sell-off and we prepare to say goodbye to Sears (I think Roebuck is already deceased), could it be that President Trump is finally turning the MAGA lens on the Fed???

President Donald Trump slammed the Federal Reserve as “going loco” for its interest-rate increases this year in comments hours after the worst U.S. stock market sell-off since February.

Trump said in a telephone interview on Fox News late Wednesday night the market plunge wasn’t because of his trade conflict with China: “That wasn’t it. The problem I have is with the Fed,” he said. “The Fed is going wild. They’re raising interest rates and it’s ridiculous.”

“That’s not the problem,” he said of the trade standoff. “The problem in my opinion is the Fed,” he added. “The Fed is going loco.”

Channel that inner Ron Paul, MAGA Man! We need no loco banqueros. End it!

America, Constitution, Empire, Ken Starr, law, missiles, republic, Trump

The Fake News “Resistance” now, after decades of atrophy, seeks to protect the Constitution. Or something. Whatever it is, they’re aiming to protect against The Trump. Oddly, said Trump is the last vestige of hope for possibly restoring any semblance of Constitutional order. If he fails, then it’s over and we might as well let it go. “It” being the old Republic, now more of memory than an institution.

Trump. Trump. Trump. Russia. Russia. Russia. Fake news, impeachment, and indictment.

My old friend, Ken Starr says a sitting President can, in fact, be indicted for crimes.

“I think the president can be indicted,” said Starr, who led the investigation into former President Bill Clinton‘s sexual misconduct with Monica Lewinsky. “But that is not the position of the Justice Department traditionally.”

“The basic point is we do not have an authoritative resolution on the issue,” he said, noting it “cannot happen, as I see it, under Justice Department policy that’s enforceable on [Special Counsel] Bob Mueller.”

“No one is above the law,” he said. “And so in my judgment the president can in fact be indicted.”

I respect my friend’s learned judgment – as to his theory. But he seems a little caught up in the past. We are in a new and different place, legally. He’s probably correct – in theory – the president could be indicted.

However, a sitting president could now use (“legally”) something like the following to preempt any criminal proceeding:

pic_giant_050914_SM_Hellfire-Boko-Haram-3

Paper indictments do not stop AGM-114’s. NRO.

Do you like the new legal/political landscape? You know, if we’re honest, you voted yourselves into this imperial place. Pleased? If not, then say five “Hail Constitutions,” go forth, and vote no more, my children.

That, or hope Trump has a cool head and an iron constitution (not one of paper). Trust the plan?

"Civil" War, 25th Amendment, Constitution, crazy, government, Trump, Warren

Look for the 25th Movement to go about as far as Impeachment.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Thursday she believes it’s time for White House officials to invoke the 25th Amendment and begin the process of removing President Trump from office.

The comments come one day after a blistering op-ed published in The New York Times by an anonymous senior administration official that blasted Trump as amoral and “anti-democratic” and said staffers must constantly rebut the president’s “misguided impulses” and “worst inclinations.”

“If senior administration officials think the president of the United States is not able to do his job, then they should invoke the 25th Amendment,” Warren told CNN.
“The Constitution provides for a procedure whenever the vice president and senior officials think the president can’t do his job. It does not provide that senior officials go around the president — take documents off his desk, write anonymous op-eds. … Every one of these officials have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It’s time for them to do their job,” she added.

The author of the Times op-ed said the idea of removing Trump from office had already been floated by his top aides.

Fake news begets fake crisis? In the 1% off chance this moves forward, watch out. It has no chance of success. However, if played out, it could easily precipitate something hot, something we haven’t seen in 153 years.

Nuts.

That and slightly more in today’s PNW:

Cicero, Rhetoric, Trump

Cicero would certainly be banned by the Tech Cabal.

More than 2,000 years ago, the famous Roman politician Marcus Tullius Cicero once accused his enemy Clodius of incest with his brothers and sisters.

But far from being shocking to people living at the time, this type of insult was just a part of normal everyday life, according to one prominent historian.

Professor Dr Martin Jehne of the Technische Universität Dresden says modern insults are nothing compared to those flung around ancient Rome.

According to the historian’s findings, Romans could be even more cruel than the trolls of today and would often stoop to sexual slurs to insult their opponents.

Professor Jehne said withstanding and overcoming insults can ultimately have a politically stabilising effect in society, with those who exchanged vile taunts often working together in the near future.

Recall, if you can, the recent insults hurled back and forth between Trump and Kim and the ensuing peace plan (still a work in progress). Greater minds still get it. The art of the insult. Still works sometimes. Calm the Tweets.

READERS: My departure from the mainstream socials has freed me dramatically. But it has also produced a noticeable drop in traffic. Quality verses quantity, I suppose. Still, try to help by continuing to spread the word. Bring me the intelligent and the inquisitive! Thanks. P

don't talk, law, Mueller, Trump, truth, truth is not truth

For what its worth, every honest criminal defense attorney knows exactly what Trump and Guiliani meant by their “baffling” incrimination statements. It’s true.

Exclusive: Trump worries that Mueller interview could be a ‘perjury trap’

Mueller has been known to use such tactics before. It’s his job.

Don’t talk. Even if you’re the President.
