The CIA AP released the strangest headline this weekend: Kyiv prepares for a winter with no heat, water or power.

Whaaaat?! I was told, repeatedly, that it was Russia that was completely defeated and collapsing. I mean, check any troll on Telegram: 300 dead marines upset with MOD over fake battle loses. Etc. Now, we’re informed that Russia is just a-rolling away with missiles and bombs they were supposed to run out of back in April. Something doesn’t add up. It’s like we were lied to.

But yes, this will be a taxing winter for the Ukies and much of Europe. Pay attention to the lessons of the next few months because they will most likely offer a preview of America’s very near future.

How did this one get out of the AP?! Are they getting sloppy, desperate, or maybe just secure enough to brag?

Rabins, whose upbringing was not very religious, discovered “texts and traditions and the religious rules and laws and ways of living” as an adult and immersed herself in yeshiva.

The more she studies and practices Judaism, she said, the more she also feels the pull of witchcraft or Jewish folk magic — practices she’s caught glimpses of in the edges of Scripture, as well as from Jewish cultures.

Read the whole strange but very true thing. In an article aimed at ‘Muricans, they mention both the Talmud and the Kabbalah. I’m not sure I get it. This would be akin to Benny Shapiru if he dared quote Gitten in his discourses on Jesus. And, it all seems a little similar to the way, in another story, a group of practicing satanists (who, you see, aren’t really followers of satan – so clever, you see) cowed the satanists on a government school board into accepting satanic imagery into their satanic schools. Very, very similar.

In a somewhat unrelated matter (maybe?), I’m not entirely sure about Neil Kumar in Arkansas. Real deal? Or another misdirection?

See what I did there? Caps for us, not for them? The associated press, which may or may not be a CIA propaganda outlet, says their “style” calls for capitalizing “Black” but not “white.”

After changing its usage rules last month to capitalize the word “Black” when used in the context of race and culture, The Associated Press on Monday said it would not do the same for “white.”

The AP said white people in general have much less shared history and culture, and don’t have the experience of being discriminated against because of skin color.

That’s the real story: we have no history or culture. Just cancel us away, why don’t (((you)))? Of course, as usual, this BS comes from a man who, if he wears a hat, wears a very small hat.

“We agree that white people’s skin color plays into systemic inequalities and injustices, and we want our journalism to robustly explore these problems,” John Daniszewski, the AP’s vice president for standards, said in a memo to staff Monday. “But capitalizing the term white, as is done by white supremacists, risks subtly conveying legitimacy to such beliefs.”

In other words, the ap will help us experience discrimination against us based on our skin color. Every. Single. Time.

The Associated Press released their survey of the top news stories of 2018. These are items selected by editors around the country and not necessarily the favorites of the people. However, I suspect, given the monopoly press, that they are the stories most heavily sold (like any manufactured good) to the people. A look:

1. The Parkland Shooting – A tragedy but hardly the most important thing in the country. Another of a decreasing number of mass shootings, another failed attempt to ban guns, another exposure of government corruption.

2. Russia, Russia, Russia – Fake news personified. Too much to do about absolutely nothing. Worn, tired, and dying.

3. Pound Me Too – Beyond exposing that Hollywood is run by and for lowlifes, this only pacifies wimps and furthers male-bashing and anti-Americanism.

4. More “Mass” Shootings – More hype, fewer facts. We’re not giving up the guns, sorry.

5. The Elections – All problems are solved now! Spare me, please…

6. Immigration – This should have been the number one issue and it should have been titled, “The Ongoing Invasion.” This is the story that has most changed the character of the country (for the worse) and is only getting worse by the day. At this late point, The Wall would only be a start.

7. Brett and Beaker – The fakest of fake news for the dumbest of humans. Why hasn’t anyone been indicted yet?

8. CA Fires – A story to be sure. But a top ten?

9. “Climate Change” – Like gun grabbing, this attempt at mass market communism just isn’t gaining traction. Ice. Age. Comes.

10. Khashoggi Murder – I doubt one in fifty Americans even know this happened.

Stupid items, selected by stupid editors, in a fat and stupid country. How about these issues:

  • The Invasion
  • The murder of 700,000 children
  • The brewing depression
  • The coming wars
  • The existing and failed foreign adventures
  • The observably declining physical health
  • The falling IQs
  • The social morals on life support
  • The embracing of mental illness as “normal,” “better” even
  • The death of public education
  • The rise of the machines
  • The completely unreported blinding of the CIA last fall and the war in the deep state.

Don’t look for improvement in 2019.

 

 

 

PC Wordplay

Nothing is safe. The SJWs have invaded or conquered the AP Style Manual:

Stop saying offensive words.

That’s what the Associated Press (AP) is telling writers.

You see, the AP puts out a stylebook every year that includes universal guidelines for stylistic matters like punctuation, capitalization, and even word choice.

In a recent version, the AP encouraged writers to not use words such as “pro-life,” “migrant,” “refugee,” “Islamist,” and “terrorist.”

It’s completely ludicrous. Yet, sadly, it’s a sign of the times.

Writers aren’t all that fond of being bossed around and with good reason. Disrespect to the AP, following their suggestions, how would one espouse a pro-life opinion about migrants, not necessarily “refugees,” some of whom are Islamist terrorists??? Remember when liberals cared about free speech? Neither do I.

Newspeak, anyone? No thanks.

I have an older AP book (never felt the need to update annually). It sits pretty next to Black’s, Webster’s, Strunk and White, Brown’s, and Bartlett’s – all mostly unused.

Not that I have style, but I’ve always favored the HBB and Chicago guides. They also collect dust with a bunch of other books no one else is interested in.

One hopes for scant interest in the PC BS from the AP.
