Hey! You’re about to get paid a little – just a tiny bit – of that bankster graft!

What’s happening: A growing chorus of liberal and conservative economists are lining up behind a proposal published in the Wall Street Journal by Harvard professor Jason Furman, who chaired the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) under President Obama, that calls for direct government payments to households.

What it means: Furman proposes Congress pass a “one-time payment of $1,000 to every adult who is a U.S. citizen or a taxpaying U.S. resident, and $500 to every child who meets the same criteria.”

He adds that the law “should also specify that the payments would continue in 2021 and beyond if the unemployment rate rises to 5.5% and remains there or higher. Hopefully this will not happen, but if it does, the money will be needed.”

What it REALLY means: America is DONE.

Derek Thompson, a millennial, takes aim at the trio of elderly gents in the presidential pony show contest. Trump, Biden, and Sanders are old, that’s certain. However, the ending of his article doesn’t help the cause of sprightly discontent:

Finally, the most important challenge before the U.S. and the world—climate change—is profoundly intergenerational. Solving it requires a farsighted approach to diplomacy, invention, and technological deployment that a creaky old country will simply never master. This crisis urgently requires the input and ideas of the generations that will be most affected by it. If government of the elderly, by the elderly, and for the elderly will not perish from the Earth, the rest of us might suffer instead.

The ancient plutocrats can’t remember their names; this will not alleviate the unicorn epidemic. I’ve thought of a Gen-Xer who could potentially bail the nation out if elected. He’d loath running and you probably wouldn’t vote for him anyway.

Taxing Sidewalks for Obesity

America, fat, health, obesity

Or some such nonsense. Communism is the only solution ever floated by our insane caste of elites and experts. It’s the go-to for “climate change”, and now for obesity.

Dietz faulted the government for not pushing for more measures to promote physical activity and better eating. Building more sidewalks and passing a national tax on sugary beverages could make a big difference, he said.

Taxes and sidewalks… Well, I guess the gubmit best act as there is absolutely nothing the individual can do to improve his own health. Case closed…

42% of US adults are obese, up from whenever the last survey was conducted (which was also up, etc, etc). Something like 70% of the public is overweight – meaning just too heavy. Obese means severely overweight. 10% of adults are grossly obese. That’s about 27 million people. What does that mean? Really, really severely overweight?

Once again, I propose two simple solutions that do not involve taxes: 1) eat less, 2) move around some. It occurs to me that, despite writing the same things for years, the problem keeps getting worse. I may, in the future, employ reverse psychology.

Donald Jefferies on the nationwide systemic corruption.

Corruption is defined in the dictionary as “dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power.” It can no longer be denied that in every area of government and business, present-day America fits this description like a glove. Throw in a decadent culture, and a beaten-down, largely amoral populace, and you have America 2.0.

Our legal system is a laughingstock. I am just starting to write a book about our injustice system, and the statistics and personal stories are stunning. Cops routinely harass innocent motorists or pedestrians (but never threaten gang members, for instance). Prosecutors cling to cases with no real evidence, and push forward to convict those they know aren’t guilty. It’s all about winning under our adversarial system. Juries rubber-stamp dubious cases with guilty verdicts most of the time. And politicized judges rule over the mess like feudal lords, with bias and inconsistency.

He goes on to hit most of the major players in the downfall. But, like he say, at least there’s plenty to write about.

A massive (27,300 words!) Unz-esque article which sheds light on the murder of General Soleimani, 9/11, and more. Tuck your “TL;DR” away, this is worth it. Pay attention. And, watch Dr. Alan Sabrosky’s interview with the Iranian journalist; listen to his radio interview. 100% certain.

The January 2nd American assassination of Gen. Qassem Soleimani of Iran was an event of enormous moment.

Gen. Soleimani had been the highest-ranking military figure in his nation of 80 million, and with a storied career of 30 years, one of the most universally popular and highly regarded. Most analysts ranked him second in influence only to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s elderly Supreme Leader, and there were widespread reports that he was being urged to run for the presidency in the 2021 elections.

The circumstances of his peacetime death were also quite remarkable. His vehicle was incinerated by the missile of an American Reaper drone near Iraq’s Baghdad international airport just after he had arrived there on a regular commercial flight for peace negotiations originally suggested by the American government.

…

Read on…

Whatever the truth of a matter is, it is almost always the opposite of what is officially pronounced by the government and the media or what is taught as history. Y’all been lied to. Repeatedly.

In the days in and around 9/11, I was very close to many of the neocons and was perilously close to joining them. There was a smell about it all. Of sulfur.

It’s not even close anymore. Read this.

Who Rules America?

By Greg Felton

A government, whatever its nature, rules as an imperial power over its people. The surest way to exercise this control is to prop up the illusion that it acts in the public interest. Paul Craig Roberts and Alvin Rabushka spelled out this salient fact in the March 1973 issue of Public Choice, in their article “A Diagrammatic Exposition of an Economic Theory of Imperialism,” and what they wrote is no less relevant today.

The act of voting is one of the props that sustains the delusion of self-rule. People do vote, but the candidates are decided by the oligarchy of organized interest groups. This is also the conclusion of a 2014 study by Princeton University professors Martin Gilens and Benjamin I. Page about the extent to which U.S. government policy reflects public preferences. Gilens and Page found that voters are, to all intents and purposes, irrelevant to their own “democratic” government:

“[The] preferences of the average American appear to have only a minuscule, near-zero, statistically non-significant impact upon public policy . . . Moreover, because of the strong status quo bias built into the U.S. political system, even when fairly large majorities of Americans favor policy change, they generally do not get it” (Perspectives on Politics, Vol. 12, No. 3, pp. 575, 76).

Instead of representing the common interest of the people, government answers to organized interest groups. Gilens and Page cite the dominance over policy of special interests who use public policy to serve their interests rather than the public’s. We see the effects of this plutocracy in the sharp rise in the inequality of income and wealth, a gap which has grown into a chasm.

…

Your vote, as I have explained before, does not count in the overall scheme and in fact, sometimes isn’t counted even numerically. Catch the part about the PATRIOT Act being drafted BEFORE 9/11 and by the guy who chaired the 9/11 sham commission? All an act and a ruse; when you vote along, you go along.

The Ultimate Miscarriage of Justice

"free the nipple", America, DD?, deep sad decline, law, New Hampshire, Supreme Court, ta-tas

There is no justice for the masses in this dead shell of an empire. Even in a time of cultural rot when anything (that does not make sense) goes, a couple of broads, some of them pretty good-looking, in New Hampshire, cannot release the pink-nosed puppies without being arrested. The US Supreme Court, failed farce that it is, couldn’t care less.

The Supreme Court on Monday decided not to “Free the Nipple,” refusing to hear an appeal by three women fined by a city in New Hampshire for exposing their breasts in public who argued that banning female but not male toplessness violates the U.S. Constitution.

The justices left in place a 2019 ruling by New Hampshire’s top court upholding the women’s convictions for violating an ordinance in the city of Laconia that makes it illegal to show female breasts in public “with less than a fully opaque covering of any part of the nipple.”

The women – Heidi Lilley, Kia Sinclair and Ginger Pierro – were involved in the “Free the Nipple” movement, which court papers described as campaigns against “sexualized objectification of women” and in favor of women being able to go topless in public if they wish.

Starting to believe those rumors about some of the Justices. This is “live free or die?” Shame on the Granite State, shame. And, I guess this puts the final nail in the coffin of the Free State Project; smoking MJ is not an ideology, libertarians. And, it’s objectifying women. I’m not down with that. Free the nipple! (On the hotties!)

America, China, education, Michael Snyder, stupid

Michael Snyder picks up where Dr. Williams left off – Chinese students are 4 grade-levels ahead of their pitiful Amerikan counterparts. And,

We were once a great light to the rest of the world, but today a large chunk of our population can barely read, write, speak or function in society. Just consider the following numbers…

#1 One recent survey found that 74 percent of Americans don’t even know how many amendments are in the Bill of Rights.

#2 An earlier survey discovered that 37 percent of Americans cannot name a single right protected by the First Amendment.

#3 Shockingly, only 26 percent of Americans can name all three branches of government.

#4 During the 2016 election, more than 40 percent of Americans did not know who was running for vice-president from either of the major parties.

#5 North Carolina is considering passing a law which would “mean only scores lower than 39 percent would qualify for an F grade” in North Carolina public schools.

#6 30 years ago, the United States awarded more high school diplomas than anyone in the world. Today, we have fallen to 36th place.

#7 According to the Pentagon, 71 percent of our young adults are ineligible to serve in the U.S. military because they are either too dumb, too fat or have a criminal background.

#8 For the very first time, Americans are more likely to die from an opioid overdose than they are in a car accident.

#9 One study discovered that one-third of all American teenagers haven’t read a single book in the past year.

#10 A recent survey found that 45 percent of U.S. teenagers are online “almost constantly”.

#11 Today, the average American spends 86 hours a month using a smartphone.

#12 Overall, the average U.S. adult “logs 6 hours, 43 minutes of total screen time daily”.

#13 In more than half of all U.S. states, the highest paid public employee in the state is a football coach.

#14 During one seven day period last summer, a total of 16,000 official complaints about human feces were submitted to the city of San Francisco. And apparently the problem is very real because one investigation found 300 piles of human feces on the streets of downtown San Francisco.

#15 Every 24 hours, more than a third of all Americans eat fast food.

#16 Less than half of all Americans know which country used atomic bombs at the end of World War II.

#17 Even though we fought a war in Iraq for eight long years, 6 out of 10 young adults cannot find Iraq on a map of the Middle East. And that same survey found that 75 percent of our young adults cannot locate Israel.

#18 Today, the average college freshman in the United States reads at a 7th grade level.

Are you convinced yet?

As a society, we have become exceedingly “dumbed down”, and we can even see this at the highest levels of our government. Just take a look at some of the people we have representing us in Congress. If George Washington, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were alive today, what do you think that they would make of our current crop of politicians?

When our founders spoke, their language was so elegant. But of course we couldn’t have politicians speak to us that way today because nobody would be able to understand what they were saying.

Our society is literally in a death spiral, but nobody seems to have a way to stop it.

Educating our children properly is one of the most basic things that needs to be addressed, but unfortunately the left has total control of our public schools now, and that means that there is no hope of a major turnaround any time soon.

In fact, there is no hope of a turnaround, now or later. Only Dr. Ironsides has the solution.

UPDATE: I looked through the cited survey and found it riddled with global-speak. Still, if even the deliberate system’s metrics show a problem, there’s a problem.

America, dumber, fat, health, obesity

I’m sure you’re out walking off those holiday pounds, if only at a black Friday sale. And, pounds Americans do have to lose. Fatter than ever…

As the second decade of the 21st century ends, a look back at 2010-2019 finds that more Americans have said they weigh at least 200 pounds than did so from 2001-2009. An average of 28% of Americans said they weighed 200 pounds or more from 2010-2019, up from 24% during the prior decade. Accordingly, Americans’ average self-reported weight has also risen, to 178 pounds — up from 174 pounds during the previous decade, with similar increases among men (4 pounds) and women (3 pounds).

More lies than ever too. The stats are waaaay off. A simple look around will tell you the average Amerikan is over 300 pounds, ugly, with 18 tattoos, insane, and shit stupid. The gross obesity literally feeds the mental decline.

From DTI, the researchers derived a measure called fractional anisotropy (FA), which correlates with the condition of the brain’s white matter. A reduction in fractional anisotropy is indicative of increasing damage in the white matter.

The results showed reduction of FA values in the obese adolescents in regions located in the corpus callosum, a bundle of nerve fibre that connects the left and right hemispheres of the brain.

Decrease of fractional anisotropy was also found in the middle orbitofrontal gyrus, a brain region related to emotional control and the reward circuit. None of the brain regions in obese patients had increased fractional anisotropy.

According to researchers, this pattern of damage correlated with some inflammatory markers, like leptin, a hormone made by fat cells that helps regulate energy and fat stores.

In some obese people, the brain doesn’t respond to leptin, causing them to keep eating despite adequate or excessive fat stores. This condition, known as leptin resistance, makes the fat cells produce even more leptin.

Worsening condition of the white matter was also associated with levels of insulin, a hormone produced in the pancreas that helps regulate blood sugar levels. Obese people often suffer from insulin resistance.

I’m confident that another 700 million third world invaders and a wealth tax can fix this.
