The Election Defection Connection

America, election, fraud, politics

I am really getting tired of this election. This political theater. In fact, I’m getting tired of American politics, period.

The problem with practical politics is similar to that of higher education (in America) – it has nothing substantive to offer to the honest citizen.

That show and spectacle from Las Vegas last night was pitiful. There are so many deadly serious issues out there. Hillary and Donald are aware of them and they dance around them. Talking points only. It’s all an effort to be seen – not to do anything productive.

Imagine a book, let’s say A Brief History of Time. There are some heavy ideas in that little book. Now, drop it into a goldfish tank. The fish will swim around it, shimmering as they twist and turn. The fish are in close proximity to the heavy ideas but attention is only drawn to their shiny movement. And their movement is their only concern. It’s a show about nothing.

By the way, this was only an example. I in no way wish to demean goldfish by comparing them to politicians. The fish have value and real purpose, however slight.

Wikileaks came up last night. Hillary again said it’s the Russians. She said U.S. Intel says it’s the Russians. It is not the Russians. Regardless, Drudge and the Alt-Media made hay last night of another Podesta email from Wiki. They claim the Dems want illegals to vote. They do. Remember, I spent years in the system; I know these people. They want illegals, felons, pets, the dead, and the fictitious to vote – for their guys and gals. They wanted this 20 years ago – nothing new.

But the particular email cited only concerns illegals by implication. Its subject is ease of voter registration primarily for citizens. One could argue that some of the ideas tossed around in the chain could lead to illegal non-citizen voting. However, what they were concerned with is the 50 million American citizens who are not registered to vote.

One of the participants pointed out that it really isn’t that good of an issue. 50 million are not registered; 180 million are. If 78% of people can figure it out, what’s the problem?

My take is that, like college dropouts, the unregistered may exist because the system isn’t worth participating in. Sure, some want to vote but miss deadlines, etc. But these numbers are not static – they cross multiple elections and years. If one misses the last election, one would make sure to register in time for the next. If it were really important. It’s not. Enter the goldfish and the book.

Daily Dot.

Anyway, it will be nice when December (not November) comes and goes and takes this clown show with it. Then we can move on to the next war, the next recession, the next issue in the book the goldfish can’t read.

Wow. Could not finish that one.

Hillary did get to the debt bomb first, I think. Yes, yes, Bill was just about to start bringing down the debt – GAAP be damned. That’s a problem in Washington; even if you set up a plan that would work, the next president can easily undue it all.

Anyway, this debate was pointless.

I did however, right in the middle of the madness, get slapped in the face by a mental reminder from the ancient world. I have no plan, no theory. Yet. Not a suggestion, just a mere thought. Just an idea that jumped up while I was agonizing over the split screen images of the two candidates.

The Roman Republic didn’t have a presidency. Rather, the chief executive office was split between not one, but two Consuls. They were elected together and served ONE YEAR terms. They alternated who was actually in charge, or who had final say, monthly. **After the advent of the Empire, neither Consult had any real power.

Tully in 2016!

How about we stick both these clowns in the White House under such an arrangement! Could it really be any worse than it already is?

Well, yeah … maybe.

Good night America and may God help us all!

The (on-books) federal debt increased $236,991,525,500.74 between the first Trump/Clinton debate and yesterday. That’s 22 days and nearly a quarter-Trillion dollars.

20160211_debt

I don’t recall either candidate addressing this problem. I also can’t seem remember hearing either propose the cuts necessary to halt the growth, let alone reverse it.

We’ll see what tonight brings. Speaking of that, I have to dig out my boots and find the shovel.

This morning I wrote about how the common people accept tyranny and, in fact, come to adore it. People in Iraq must be missing Saddam Hussein right about now. A mean man and a heavy-handed dictator he was. Brutal. But he didn’t tolerate terrorists in his country (outside his regime). And he didn’t lose cities to them.

Major operations are underway in Iraq at this moment to free Mosul from ISIS after two years of captivity. The battle is expected to take two months.

Forces east of Mosul also secured control over a significant stretch of the Irbil-Mosul road, a key strategic route, the General Command of Peshmerga Forces of Kurdistan Region said, while Iraq’s military declared that it had inflicted “heavy losses of life and equipment” on ISIS to the southeast.

It appeared US troops were at the back of the first column of Peshmerga to cross into ISIS-held territory at dawn Monday. The troops wore clothes consistent with US military — including one who wore a US flag patch on his arm — and were driving vehicles distinctive to US military.

For now, the Americans are mainly with Iraqi counterterrorism units and the Kurdish forces.

The United States, which lent advisers and air support, had earmarked about 500 of its nearly 5,000 service members in the country for the mission. Most are working on logistics, although there are also special operations forces among that number.

The United States still believes ISIS may try to use rudimentary mustard agent as a chemical weapon in the campaign’s final stages. There are reports of ISIS setting fires to oil and tire pits to try to use the smoke to obscure their locations from aircraft targeting them.

Our troops are in the rear with the gear. But they’re still there. We’re still there. We’re in Iraq, in basically the same stupid war, as we have been for the past twenty-five years. A quarter century of insanity.

A short history of U.S.-Iraqi “relations”:

  • During the 1980s Saddam was our ally as he opposed Iran. We have been meddling in Iran since the 1950s; nobody remembers why.
  • Despite posing no threat to the U.S., suddenly Saddam was the enemy (the 314th coming of Adolf Hitler, and not the last…);
  • The U.S. staged a pointless invasion of Iraq in 1991;
  • Between 1991 and 2003 the U.S. meddled constantly in Iraq, both militarily and economically;
  • In 2003 the U.S. fully re-invaded Iraq for reasons demonstrably fictional);
  • Iraq was occupied and Saddam was captured, “tried” and executed;
  • The occupation went on;
  • 1,000,000+ locals were killed, maimed or left homeless;
  • Some idiots chanted, “USA! USA! USA!”;
  • The banksters made a fortune;
  • Terrorist factions rapidly formed in Iraq;
  • The U.S. partially pulled out of Iraq leaving a corrupt and weak government and a power vacuum;
  • ISIS filled the vacuum, occupying Mosul (2014) and other cities and even attacked Baghdad;
  • More locals died;
  • The banksters made more money;
  • ISIS spread throughout the Middle East;
  • The U.S. launched more idiotic wars;
  • The banksters made more money;
  • More people died;
  • The Iraqi government, propped up by the U.S. began preparation to re-take Mosul;
  • And on and on and on…

Twenty five years. Thousands dead (ours and theirs). Hundreds of thousands wounded for life (ours and theirs). Hundreds of thousands homeless (we have homeless veterans in America by the thousands). Trillion$ we didn’t have in the first place down the drain. Terrorism spread like wildfire drunk on jet fuel. And all for absolutely nothing – nothing except making a sh!t ton of money for a bunch of criminals.

burning-oil-fields-resize

Iraqi oil fields burning, or American money fields burning. Hard to tell. Life / Google.

Imagine if we were still fighting the Nazis in the 1970s – all based on lies and with no point and no end in sight. Well, no, it’s not the same. Back then we fought to win. The banksters of the day profited but the profits stopped when the war ended. Today it’s all for the money and so the killing is ceaseless. Hillary may introduce the nuclear payout to the banking purse – at our great expense.

And people are excited about an election next month. The chance to impliedly or explicitly support more of the same Satanic evil and waste.

I can’t even remember why Saddam was the bad guy, suddenly, 25 years ago. Something about another little country that didn’t at all concern us. Or was it a corrupt Kingdom in the sands? Small matter now. As is, we’ll just have to accept fighting ISIS over there. Otherwise they might shoot up nightclubs, stab out malls, and bomb train stations here.

The Conditioned Support of Tyranny

Defying the laws of nature and economics, the Empire marches on. Country after country falls into chaos. Only the Russians stand in the way of global domination by the banksters. People under age 30 might not understand what “DEFCON” means. They should probably learn the scale. People are learning all sorts of things.

People in what’s left of Libya are leaning that they miss life under Moamer Kadhafi (Gaddafi?).

Those living in the capital say they are exhausted by power cuts, price hikes and a lack of cash flow as rival authorities and militias battle for control of the fragmented oil-rich country.

“I hate to say it but our life was better under the previous regime,” says Fayza al-Naas, a 42-year-old pharmacist, referring to Kadhafi’s more than four decades of rule.

Today, “we wait for hours outside banks to beg cashiers to give us some of our own money. Everything is three times more expensive.”

A UN-backed unity government has struggled to assert its authority nationwide since arriving in Tripoli in March, with a rival parliament in the country’s far east refusing to cede power to it.

On Friday it suffered a new blow when a rival seized key offices in the capital and proclaimed the reinstatement of a third administration previously based in Tripoli.

The turmoil after Kadhafi’s 2011 fall has allowed the Islamic State jihadist group to gain a foothold on Europe’s doorstep after seizing the strongman’s hometown of Sirte in June last year.

Undoubtedly, for the average Libyan, life was better back then. Kadhafi was a strongman. Strongmen can be brutal. They oppress people at times. They also keep terrorists at bay. They keep money in the banks. They maintain order. All of that is lost in Libya.

The first part of the plan was to steal the money. Mission accomplished. The cashiers cannot turn over a depositor’s own funds because the cash is now in London in the possession of greedy thieves. Inflation and suffering follow.

The second part of the plan was to arm and foster the growth of ISIS. Mission accomplished. The banksters also profit from this.The people do not.

In Kadhafi’s place the UN has erected a new “government”. Every single thing ever attempted by the We are the World Gang of the East River has failed miserably from the start. Libya is no exception.

The Empire marches on to Syria. Death, destruction, and waves of refugees (all, oddly, healthy, younger males) follow. Should the Assad regime fall, in short order the survivors in Syria will miss Bashar.

Honest people in Iraq miss Saddam.

It’s kind of a universal condition outside of the West.

Older blacks, in private, in what’s left of Rhodesia, admit they would trade their current status in a heartbeat in order to be second class citizens once again under Ian Smith.

Similar sentiments are expressed in South Africa – quietly, privately, but honestly.

Perhaps my favorite quote from antiquity: “Only a few prefer Liberty, the majority seek nothing more than fair masters.” – Sallust. As I noted a while back, The People Appreciate a Benevolent Dictator.

In the absence of fairness and benevolence, the majority will take whatever they can find. Heavy-handed brutality, while not necessarily pleasant, means stability. It offers much craved security in place of dreaded freedom. The plight of sheep – destined for the diner table but well fed and spared the threat of wolves.

America was different. Was. It is no longer. And the age of the difference is rapidly fading into memory. The founding generation of the Old Republic were men of the ultimate Western variety, descended by blood and ideology from the Greeks, the Romans, The Franks, the Germans, and the British. The best of the best and rather demanding of freedom. So demanding as to slap the face of the most powerful King of their day. No more.

Thirty-odd years ago, Ronald Reagan lied to the world. He said anyone could come to America and become American. In truth they only come. Today the assimilation works in reverse. Since 1965 the nature of the population has radically changed. So has the national disposition, now bordering on the third world. And even that demoted status might be preferable to the alternatives. The way it’s going right now, a Planet of the Apes scenario doesn’t seem so far-fetched. Even if that were to happen, it would not be the fault of the apes.

It’s the people. The masses. Trading whatever they have to in order to appease those fair and benevolent masters. They’re doing it right now, writ large on a national scale. Damn near half the population supports a corrupt, Disney-villain, witch as their chosen ruler. Many openly acknowledge she is a criminal – one the best criminals in history – “their” criminal. She will bring order, security, fairness, benevolence.

The opposition is better but not by much considered in toto.

And all of it is firmly controlled by the same super-criminals who brought down Kadhafi and Saddam, who looted the banks, who profit from death.

The good news is that life goes on. It always does. Cincinnatus preceded Sallust who preceded Jefferson, et al., who preceded us – with plenty of tyranny in between. Best of all, the individual, even amid the crazed chaos, can still live a mostly free existence.

On The Money

Banker criminals (banksters) own and run the United States. They have almost complete control of the government. Any illusion of democracy and independent control by or for the people is just that, illusory.

Thanks to Vox Day and The New Republic for pointing this out: perhaps the biggest and most alarming bombshell in the Wikileaks Hillary file isn’t even about Hillary. It’s about how the banksters, Citibank in this case, control Washington from New York. Citi literally handed down a set of lists for nominees for cabinet officer and other high-level administrative positions.

The lists went to Podesta. Remember, this weekend I leave out all negative comments about Pres. Obama himself, he of the Cuban cigars, God bless him. This isn’t about him anyway, it’s about the owners of the nation and their rule over all things political. And those lists turned into the real cabinet – dead on the money:

The cabinet list ended up being almost entirely on the money. It correctly identified Eric Holder for the Justice Department, Janet Napolitano for Homeland Security, Robert Gates for Defense, Rahm Emanuel for chief of staff, Peter Orszag for the Office of Management and Budget, Arne Duncan for Education, Eric Shinseki for Veterans Affairs, Kathleen Sebelius for Health and Human Services, Melody Barnes for the Domestic Policy Council, and more. For the Treasury, three possibilities were on the list: Robert Rubin, Larry Summers, and Timothy Geithner.

This was October 6. The election was November 4. And yet Froman, an executive at Citigroup, which would ultimately become the recipient of the largest bailout from the federal government during the financial crisis, had mapped out virtually the entire Obama cabinet, a month before votes were counted. And according to the Froman/Podesta emails, lists were floating around even before that.

Congress and the President are extremely powerful. But the admin agencies run the government, day-to-day. Their regulations, their interpretations thereof and enforcement (or not) are what constitutes real federal law and power. And the banksters had these pre-picked before the 2008 election. These financial criminals appointed “your” government before you even voted. I say again, your vote means nothing. Literally. And something tells me they had another list in case the President had been a Republican.

Your walking into a voting booth isn’t how it works. This is:

nimbus-image-1476574804197

Email from banking criminal Mike Froman to political criminal John Podesta, Oct. 6, 2008.

You’ll note the lists are arranged in a manner to appease ardent Democratic diversity-mongers: women, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews, etc. Rest assured each and every name on the list was vetted to comply with the demands of the financial elite.

The banks were well compensated for this service, for putting together “your” government. Citi received nearly $500 Billion from Uncle Sam during the financial crisis bailouts – the most of any bank. And the Fed printed up and loaned fake money – effectively for free – to Citi and other banks (and not just American banks) to the tune of $15-20 Trillion.

In other words, they robbed you of your vote and your government. They robbed you of your currency and they robbed your children’s futures. That money may be fake but someday they will expect someone to pay it back – ain’t gonna be the banksters.

Please believe these people have a similar plan for this fall. I imagine the lists are already under consideration. There’s growing financial unrest again so it follows the printing presses are being revved up too.

How? Why? It’s because, as George Carlin put it, because they own this place; they own you. They’re going to get it all.

These are same thieves, the same clique of money changing Satanists that Jesus drove out of the Temple with a whip. “My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Jesus, Matt. 21:13 (JKV). When was the last time your Priest or preacher mentioned that? When’s the last time they put it in a modern context. As Christ drove them from the Temple of the Lord, so we should drive them from America into the sea.

President Obama is the man. Yes, I am rather hard on him sometimes. Okay, all the time. And, yes, that included this very morning. But that’s just kidding around about fun and games: war, terrorism, the economy, etc.

Today things are different. Whatever else he may have done, today Obama struck a blow for freedom.

This morning, around 11:30, Obama issued an Executive Directive which chips away hard at one of the last vestiges of the idiotic Cuban Embargo. Since 1962, Cuban cigars (and rum) have been off-limits (officially) to Americans. As the Cuban people were mightily harmed by the economic limitations of the embargo, so American cigar enthusiasts have been hampered by the import ban.

Today, Obama undid that. Thank. You. Brother.

Pinterest.

Last year America lifted most tourism limits on island visits. As of today, those tourists can bring back up to 100 fine cigars and multiple bottles of rum. For those out of the loop, that means 4 – 5 boxes of cigars. And Cuban rum is something else; I’ve actually had bad Cuban smokes, but never bad rum.

Several hundred thousand Americans have already visited Cuban, including a few of my friends. A very good friend is down there right now. Hey, Jake! Bring me back a few Bolivar Belicoso Finos! There’s a good chap.

And Jake knows what he’s doing; he’s a professional. The rest of you venturing to Cuba, please be careful. There are Cubans and then there are Cubans. The production is pretty much maxed out at present and we have a bit of a supply problem to deal with. That’s why the retail sale of Cubans in America may not commence so quickly as one might think. They don’t have that many to send us.

Cubans and *Cubans*. The very best sticks leave home for Europe, Asia and the Middle East – places that have not foolishly hobbled their smoking gentry for the past 54 years. I suppose the very best stuff stays on the island, in the hands of the Castro Brothers and their friends. The rest is … sub-par on average. Of course, Cuban sub-par still may be “good.” But, then again, we already have plenty of good (even great and awesome) cigars from places like Nica and the DR.

It will take a while for us to get a decent cut of the really good merchandise. In the meantime, if you go to Cuba, beware of what you find. There is an existing “Cuban” market just for Americans in the Caribbean. They know they can sell us anything, and they do. Low-grade leftovers and floor sweepings. And fakes. Buyers beware. Consult a good tobacconist when you’re planning your trip. This situation will improve in time.

And what improvement we had today! Thank you, President Obama, for doing the right and decent thing. I promise to lay off my usual political comments (as to Obama…) for the rest of the weekend.

Smoke it up!

Shaking in their boots.

Hussein Obama is meeting with assorted military yes men and foreign policy hacks today to discuss martial options in Syria. I’m sure the one option not discussed is leaving everything the hell alone and minding our own business.

Ahead of the conclave an anonymous source quoted Hussein:

If it is to be destabilized, we must appropriate. Money … for rebels fighting Aleppo. More refugees and Hillary … and we must show [Putin or Trump(?)] we mean democracy. If you like your quagmire, you can keep your quagmire. Many women were offended. I know that there are extremist Christians who believe guns and God will vote. Nowhere, America. Shanked it right. Affordable generals. Healthcare. Flooding Matthew over Haiti. Vacation.

No-one is yet sure what Dear Leader was saying but it certainly sounded important. Out of an abundance of caution a psychiatrist and a caddy have been summoned to the oval office.

In related news the Pentagon recently published a 72-page field guide for implementing transgender weirdness in the politically correct freak show formerly known as the U.S. Armed Services. The booklet addresses “‘gender dysphoria,’ or ‘the distress that some transgender individuals experience due to a mismatch between their gender and their sex assigned at birth.'”

You can now plainly see why Putin must tremble with fear. I wonder if the poor man can even sleep at night.

I’m not making this up. You can’t make this stuff up anymore. Science fiction cannot compete with the new reality. The Policy Guide.

To Russia With Love

America, civilization, peace, Putin, Russia, War

For a short while now I have pondered sending a friendly letter to President Putin of the Russian Federation. I wish to express my thoughts regarding the state of international affairs (rapidly deteriorating) and the condition of the American Empire (lost but not dead, and still very dangerous).

If you’ve been under a rock or out chasing the Pokemon, know now that, for the first time in a generation, the threat of nuclear war has resurfaced. This is something I haven’t really thought about since the U.S.S.R. dissolved while I was in high school.

When I was younger, Ronald Reagan, perhaps accurately, described the Russians as the “evil empire.” My, but things have changed. The Russians have spent the past generation knocking down barriers, cutting taxes, killing regulations, building businesses, modernizing and living in relative peace. They’ve done all of this while relentlessly defending traditional civilization and stubbornly resisting the hellish forces of the global elite. Their’s is a quest for peace, prosperity and freedom.

The U.S.S.R. is no longer. Thus, it is not a threat. Today the world’s greatest problem is the U.S.S.A. The Empire seeks to extend its control to everyone and everything, everywhere on Earth and even beyond.

The Bush and Obama regimes have made a menace of the U.S. to the whole world. And, as President, Hillary Clinton would do damage untold. She is openly hostile to Russia, one of two countries which can actively combat and defy American policies. She, being bought and paid for, morally debased, and utterly crazed or stupid, would have a war with Russia.

The U.S. has proven unable to conquer small, lightly armed, relatively unorganized bands of tribesmen in Iraq (for 25 years) and Afghanistan (for 15 years). I said only two countries (Russia and China) could actively resist the U.S. There are more which Washington could not totally dominate if push came to shove: the U.K., France, Germany, India, and perhaps others – certainly any with nuclear weapons.

But a war – an all-out (even conventional) war – with Russia is laughably stupid. Insanely stupid. Criminally stupid.

First, the Russians have the ability to incinerate the United States – from coast to burning coast. The fact that we could return the favor to them likely means this will not happen. At least we hope not. What could be worse than Donald Trump’s sexual attraction to women? I think a rain of ICBMs would be considerably worse, on a different scale of bad, in fact.

Second, Russia has a modern military capable of completely defending itself and projecting large-scale assault abroad. Washington cannot easily destroy Syria as it did Libya, Iraq, etc. because of the strong Russian presence there.

Now, incredibly, Washington extends its reach deeper into Yemen – all for the sole benefit of the Saudi criminal royalty. The Saudis oppose certain factions in Yemen out of hostility to Iran. Iran is allied with Russia. Thus the possibility of a broader confrontation.

Further confrontation brews to a boil, right now, in the Ukraine. There is a more likely than not chance of Russian military intervention there before the U.S. election next month. Given the failures of the past 15 years, one cannot reasonably foresee a Washington victory in any of these places against Russia.

And we can’t afford any of this either. We’re broke. Totally bankrupt. The Empire has spent tens of trillions of dollars over the past few decades on wars and banking schemes – money we don’t have for things that did not concern us.

As bad as things might be in Kiev or Damascus, none of it affects us. Or, it wouldn’t if not for the lunatics encamped on the banks of the Potomac. To make it all worse, Hillary and her corrupt friends and masters would have us war with a nation of people with which we, Americans, share so much in common. We should be allies and friends rather than enemies.

The British often refer to Americans as “Russians in pressed pants.” A dimes worth of difference, except when it comes to governance. As we were freer then, so they are now. As Moscow schemed to dominate then, does Washington today. Madness.

I am drafting my letter to Mr. Putin in hopes it will avert catastrophe. It’s sad that I have to do so. When I was a child, learning about the evil empire, Putin was a young KGB agent. Irony. Yet, he seems the only hope now. Not one “leader” in America is worth wasting time with.

putin

Hello, friend.

Others I know have already begun sending similar missives in hopes of avoiding missiles. I really hope Putin understands that the Washington elite in no way reflect the character of decent people in this country. Half the population doesn’t really count anyway. It’s likely that 50% or more don’t even know who Putin is. It’s for the rest of us that I’m planning to write. Those of us who would not be willing slaves to D.C. or anything or anyone else nor hostile to our Christian brothers and sisters.

I’d like to believe Putin already suspects this. I know the people of Russia are beginning to ask why Americans hate them. We don’t. The political crony class might – they hate everyone – but we do not. I may or may not post the letter here.

Tonight’s college felon ball being postponed, I hope these thoughts did not inconvenience anyone.
