Yesterday the voters of Georgia’s 6th Congressional District did all Americans a favor we will find difficult to repay. They elected Republican Karen Handel to replace the Trump-picked Tom Price.

The election, featuring Handel and some kid who doesn’t even live in the district, was said to be the most expensive of its kind in history. The money was well spent.

nimbus-image-1498055620518

Carlos Slim’s Blog.

The success of the GOP, yesterday, gives President Trump a mandate – something he’s lacked since being elected himself back in November. It also proves that Democrats have recovered from their losses and are on-board with the GOP agenda to fix everything. Great news.

Now that Handel is ready to join Congress, the Republican party finally has a majority, both in the House and the Senate, something they’ve lacked until now. The election also gives them the White House, control of Judicial appointments, and control of most State Houses – something they have never had before.

We can now, immediately, expect the following:

Tax cuts (big and today);

Healthcare reform (probably by Friday);

The wall;

The end of illegal immigration, crime, and terrorism;

The defeat of ISIS;

A chicken in every pot;

Lasting peace with Russia;

Sound currency and permanent economic stability; and

Peace and happiness forever.

Now comes a new era of American pride and excellence. This will go down as the best strategic move in U.S. political history, practical, partisan, and theoretical. And, most importantly, it proves the value of voting and that every vote really does count. Let the good times roll.

Go ahead and hold your breath.

Paul Craig Roberts on the Russia Fantasy, the Politicians, the Media, the Federal Reserve, Wall Street, and the Utter Failure of American Leadership

America, economy, failure, Paul Craig Roberts, politics

Roberts never disappoints. Today he masterfully interweaves the various, total failures of post-American society into a narrative even the denizens of the Cave might be able to follow.

There is no sign that American leadership in any area is actually capable of thought. Consider Wall Street and corporate leadership. To boost share prices Wall Street forced all corporations to desert their home country and move the production of goods and services sold to Americans offshore to where labor and regulatory costs were lower. The lower costs raised profits and share prices. Wall Street threatened resistant corporations with takeovers of the companies if they refused to move abroad in order to increase their profits.

Neither Wall Street nor corporate boards and CEOs were smart enough to understand that moving jobs offshore also moved US consumer incomes and purchasing power offshore. In other words, the financial and business leadership were too stupid to comprehend that without the incomes from high value-added, high productivity US jobs, the American consumer would not have the discretionary income to continue in his role as the economy’s driver.

The Federal Reserve caught on to Wall Street’s mistake. To rectify the mistake, the Fed expanded credit, allowing a buildup in consumer debt to keep the economy going on credit purchases. However, once consumer debt is high relative to income, the ability to buy more stuff departs. In other words, credit expansion is not a permanent fix for the lack of consumer income growth.

A country whose financial and business leadership is too stupid to understand that a population increasingly employed in part-time minimum wage jobs is not a big spending population is a country whose leadership has failed.

It is strictly impossible to boost profits by offshoring jobs without also offshoring US consumer incomes. Therefore, the profits from offshoring are temporary. Once enough jobs have been moved offshore that aggregate demand is stymied, the domestic market stagnates and then declines.

As I have demonstrated so many times for so many years, as has John Williams (shadowstats.com), the jobs reports from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics are nonsense. The jobs in the alleged recovery from June 2009 are largely low-income domestic service jobs and the product of the theoretical birth/death model. The alleged recovery from the 2007-08 financial crisis is the first recovery in history in which the labor force participation rate declined. Labor force participation rates decline when the economy offers scant job opportunities, not when employment opportunities are rising.

What we know about US jobs is that the jobs are increasingly part-time minimum wage jobs. According to a presstitute news report that might or might not be true, there are only 12 counties in the entirety of the United States in which a person can rent a one-bedroom home on a minimum wage income.

Roberts knows, I know, you know, that these idiots will never learn from their overwhelming mistakes. They have completely abandoned reality, you and yours with it. The answer to any of it, from the fools, is always more of the same.

signs-of-a-collapsing-society

Must we all have a Charlton Heston moment? Is That Baloney.

One wonders how long this charade will go on. The experts seem to think, at a maximum, another 16 to 23 years. Let’s call it 20, with an inside safety margin of 15: you have 15 years left to prepare for something not seen since 476 AD.

You should probably get to work on that today.

Theresa May implored Britain to “vote conservative” today. In light of recent events and statements I’m not sure that that means vote for her. While expect the Tories to carry the election, if I were to vote, I would vote UKIP or write in “Winston’s Ghost” or something.

Exit polls later this afternoon I suppose…

America, Empire, globalism, politics

From Michael Perilloux and Social Matter: Starting with Point Five:

5. Business As Usual Means We’re In Trouble

America’s imperial mode and internal divisions are unsustainable:

Both our imperial mode and our internal conflicts are hollowing us out economically, demographically, and socially. See for example: politicized mass immigration, deindustrialization, divisive anti-white, anti-Christian anti-male, and anti-traditional domestic propaganda and subversion by Blue Empire are generated by the structure of the system. These things will be the end of us unless something changes first.

We have no way to seriously oppose a belligerent China or Russia besides subversion, escalating hostility, and nuclear brinkmanship. If things were different, and we had an economically, demographically, and morally stronger empire, we would have a much stronger negotiating position, and many more options to deal with our neighbors.

Our internal conflicts lead to Putin’s famous comment, “America is no longer agreement-capable”. To be clear “not agreement capable” is a fancy technical term for “not capable of the rational deescalation needed for nuclear peace”, because what one part of our government agrees to might get ignored by another, or torn up once the other party gets in after four years.

We lack the central strength and coherence to re-industrialize the rest of our empire as economic negotiating leverage. Right now, we can’t easily threaten China with cutting off trade, because that would be a domestic disaster, as our wealth is based increasingly on imports from China. This hollowing out of our industrial core originates from a combination of internal conflict, and weak government that can’t act as a unit.

With a weak empire, we can’t impose or enforce treaties to deal with global issues like global pollution, out-of-control African population growth, dangerous transformative technologies like genetic engineering and artificial intelligence, nuclear proliferation, or any other grand problems.

If things continue as they are, we’ll be in a bad spot. Business as usual is unacceptable, but we already knew that. More importantly, any strategy for getting us out of business as usual has to take into account the above basic points of our geopolitical situation. But what does a realistic new geopolitical vision for America look like?

For context please read the first four points. The ending is a little silly but it self-acknowledges as much.

These are weighty matters. They’re not going to happen. Rather, they have happened and, thus, we find ourselves in the sorry “business as usual”. Beer, television, and blind allegiance to a failed, stupid political party won’t fix any of this.

At any rate, there is no going back. Forward it is. Downwards is definitely an option.

America, Idiocracy, politics

A discussion today turned, jokingly, to the film Idiocracy, which was once considered a comedy but is now recognized as a prophetic documentary. All in attendance to the discussion agreed that the U.S. is there now.

Someone made the comment that the current U.S. President sure looks and acts the part of President Camacho. We all laughed. Then…

Not to long thereafter I saw this on Drudge:

nimbus-image-1494441051272

I thought, “Hell, this could actually get worse…” Then I looked across the page and saw this:

nimbus-image-1494441083324

No. Well, yes. Um. I suppose we have arrived at a permanent state of worse.

I’m thinking Idiocracy, like 1984 and Fahrenheit 451, is starting to look a little tame in comparison with the actual dystopian future.

Globalist, EU-Backed Emmanuel Macron Wins France – Tout n’est pas perdu – peut-être la prochaine fois

Maybe things will be just fine.

Maybe the invasion will naturally reverse itself.

Maybe the attacks will cease.

Maybe Macron will get tough on terror and immigration.

Maybe the EU can be reformed.

Maybe once a Rothschild servant isn’t always.

Maybe it takes another five years.

Maybe it takes another 200 or 2,000 or 20,000 dead.

Anyway,

Félicitations à Emmanuel Macron, nouveau président de la France.

Congratulations to Emmanuel Macron, France’s new President.

European election coverage, HERE.

Carlos Slim’s Blog’s (pretty good) analysis with electoral maps, HERE.

It is possible, if very unlikely, that Macron will thwart the invasion; he could adopt Le Pen’s policies there. That would be the best move imaginable. If not, it’s not the end of the world – more of a beginning.

I assume ISIS will get back to work this week or this month. Tonight they breath an understandable sigh of relief. Five more years of attacks should be all that’s needed to swing the majority around. And the National Front may fare very well in the French “mid-terms”. The Front did better than any pundit could have imagined. In five years, Marine or perhaps Marion Maréchal-Le Pen (major hottie alert) may storm in like Joan of Arc as time runs down.

This election itself was amazing for several reasons. First and foremost – the major parties were booted. Imagine an American presidential election with no Democrat and no Republican on the ticket. (Keep that up for the next four years…). Second, the NF happened and it’s real. There is hope yet for the nation of France.

There’s always hope. Even if things continue to slide, as they probably will, eventually the people will wake up. If a popular political solution isn’t available, another kind will be. On that chance, we of the Second Amendment might want to start stocking away surplus rifles for the French. They may need them.

Right now it’s: Macron does the right thing now and damned fast; National Front in five years, or; Tours 2.0 in ten.

Time will tell.

This is all very interesting. 36 hours before the polls open a huge leak of information has surfaced about Emmanual Macron. The “front-runner” in France has been dogged about tax evasion. He’s one of the progressives that wants 70-90% taxes on the rich – except for him. Seems his money is in the Cayman Islands.

A bankster, a agent of the actual Rothschilds keeping money in the Caribbean. Sounds like a globalist. And lying about it. Sounds like a politician. Given his connections, he’s at the master level and shooting for the appropriate high office.

It gets better. A hack has revealed a 9 Gig trove of communications and other information from the Macron campaign.

Whether there is enough time to comb through the material before Sunday remains to be seen. You can view the INFO HERE.

This is a chance for the French to light up the European elites. The choice is between:

Bridgitte Bardot, France, Marine Le Pen, politics

The final leg of the French Presidential Election is heating up. Sunday’s vote may decide the fate of the nation, maybe of Europe.

Emmanuel Macron’s majority in the polls is slipping hard and fast as the people consider whether they want an agent of the Rothschild Clan running France. Note: he’s not just a friend or former agent of an associated outfit – He actually worked for the Beast itself.

Last minute endorsements are coming in. The establishment, in Paris and around the Continent, is behind the banker boy wonder. Now, Mrs. Le Pen can boast a far better (and better looking) supporter – Brigitte Bardot.

The French film icon Brigitte Bardot has urged her fellow countrymen not to vote for Emmanuel Macron in France’s presidential election on Sunday, saying you can see his lack of compassion in “the coldness of his steel eyes”.
The animal rights campaigner tweeted to her followers that they should not vote Macron, fearing the situation for animals would deteriorate under his presidency.

“The contempt he gives to animal suffering can be seen in the total lack of empathy reflected in the coldness of his steel eyes.

“Whilst the scandals are increasing, he takes the side of the animal breeders and the hunters against animal rights associations that are fighting with the lobbies that seem to have power over this candidate.”

One of the best-known sex symbols of the 1950s and 1960s, Bardot came out as a supporter of populist candidate Marine Le Pen at the beginning of the year. In a wide-ranging interview with Le Figaro that touched upon cultural issues, Ms. Bardot was asked what she thought of contemporary culture.

“We live in a period when everything is vulgar, ordinary, and mediocre,” Bardot said. “France no longer has the radiance, the majesty it had.”

When asked if she was close to Le Pen’s anti-mass migration party, the Front National, the actress responded:

“I am very patriotic. I was raised by a father and a grandfather who fought for France and instilled in me a love of my homeland. I am not proud of what France is today… I’m not a ‘facho’ [fascist], any more than Marine Le Pen is.”

“Marine Le Pen has the will to take France in hand, to restore borders and give priority to the French.”

brigitte-bardot-2

Wow! Do as she says… The Independent, UK.

The French a priority in France. Who could imagine that?

The endorsements are telling:

The evil globalist establishment and the original criminal banksters support Macron. A nearly blinding beauty, concerned with beauty and love of her people, supports Le Pen. If you don’t side with B.B., you’re worse than a communist.

Le 7 mai, honorez Bardot – Votez Le Pen. Sauvez la France!

(Continuez, ci-dessous, pour le français)

Today the French made history: First, they (you) pushed the ruling elites aside and voted for two relative independents. Second, and more important, they moved Marine Le Pen towards the May runoff election.

Le Pen vs. Macro, May 7, 2017

  • Far-right leader Marine Le Pen and independent centrist Emmanuel Macron have made it to the second round
  • Republican candidate Francois Fillon conceded after initial results showed he achieved 19.5 per cent of vote
  • Far-left leader Jean-Luc Melenchon refused to concede until final results of first-round vote announced
  • France’s Prime Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, has called on voters to support Macron instead of Le Pen
  • This is the first time in 60 years none of France’s mainstream parties have entered the second round
  • Riots broke out in Nantes and Paris’ Place de la Bastille – the birthplace of the French Revolution

French voters turned their backs on the political establishment last night in round one of the presidential election.

Emmanuel Macron – an independent centrist – won first place ahead of National Front leader Marine Le Pen.

The result will have major implications for Britain and its departure from the EU.
Miss Le Pen wants to completely renegotiate France’s relationship with Brussels while Mr Macron wants closer links.

Macron is certainly an interesting character. Odds are he would make a much better president than Hollande. However, only Le Pen vows to tackle the hardest issues, including the one threatening to destroy Europe: unchecked invasion from the third world.

On May 7th, vote Le Pen! Save France!

3F89EE7D00000578-4437156-Marine_Le_Pen-a-82_1492988587135

AP / Daily Mail.

America, conservative, Pat Buchanan, politics

Yesterday Politico ran an excellent expose on Pat Buchanan. Read it HERE. Do read it. I learned a few things I didn’t know about Pat even though I’ve been an admirer since at least 1992, to include supporting his 1996 Presidential bid.

Buchanan, for his part, feels both validated and vindicated. Long ago resigned to the reality that his policy views made him a pariah in the Republican Party—and stained him irrevocably with the ensuing accusations of racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia—he has lived to see the GOP come around to Buchananism and the country send its direct descendant to the White House.

“I was elated, delighted that Trump picked up on the exact issues on which I challenged Bush,” he tells me. “And then he goes and uses my slogan? It just doesn’t get any better than this.” Buchanan, who has published such books as The Death of the West, State of Emergency, Day of Reckoning and Suicide of a Superpower, admits that November’s election result “gave me hope” for the first time in recent memory.

But none of this means he’s suddenly bullish about America’s future. Buchanan says he has “always been a pessimist,” and despite Trump’s conquest, two things continue to color his dark forecast for the nation. First, Buchanan harbors deep concerns over whether Trump, with his off-topic tweeting and pointless fight-picking, has the requisite focus and discipline to execute his nationalist agenda—especially over the opposition of a media-establishment complex bent on his destruction. Second, even if Trump delivers on the loftiest of his promises, Buchanan fears it will be too little, too late. Sweeping change was needed 25 years ago, he says, before thousands of factories vanished due to the North American Free Trade Agreement, before millions of illegal immigrants entered the country, before trillions of dollars were squandered on regime change and nation-building.

nimbus-image-1492949929597

Andre Chung / Politico.

Things would have worked out better had he made it to the White House in 1993, or 1997, or even 2001. Time was running out, then, and had expired by January of 2009. As the article notes, or Pat noted, the time for radical change was then, rather than now. The good news is that we can still gain a little Buchananism every week at http://buchanan.org/blog/.

I also can’t help but note that this subject article reads almost like a lifetime achievement piece or an obituary. I am not sure if it more resembles an epitaph for Pat or one for the Old Republic. It could be both.

I shared his uncharacteristic optimism about Trump last year as well as his current, well-founded reservations. That party to which he devoted so much attention continues to flounder, even in its victories. Just yesterday, also: Ryan: Focus is on keeping government open, not healthcare. Yes, we must keep Mordor up and running at all costs (and those are high). Of they try hard enough they may yet be able to wield the Ring of Power.

Back to Pat B.: he owns and displays a rare replica of Robert E. Lee’s 1851 Colt Navy revolver. That’s pretty cool.
