And already cucking…

On the same day (the day after election day) Jim Acosta was booted from the WH press corps (hmm, and opening…), Trump determined to rid himself of the Alabama Elf. Aaaand, the not-even-sworn-in Senator-elect from Massachusetts Utah, Mitt Romney, immediately bent over backward to show Utah voters the result of their poor decision making.

“I want to thank Jeff Sessions for his service to our country as attorney general,” Romney said in a statement and a tweet. “Under Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, it is imperative that the important work of the Justice Department continues, and that the Mueller investigation proceeds to its conclusion unimpeded.”

“Cuck!” he cucked, cuckingly.

Seriously, Utah, this is your pet carpetbagger now. Enjoy.

Congratulations, Socialists, you have the House (what a prize). We can now look forward to constant slow battles over spending programs (which isn’t a bad thing). Trump got what he needed, Senate-wise – assuming he’s ready to use what he got.

I watched three governors’ races, all of which appear to have ended in close victories for the GOP. GA and FL have held off the Bernie Sanders kooks by razor-thin margins. That seemed to be the thickness of the evening – thin. That thinness, demographic voting patterns, and the hideous performance of the people, nationwide, on ballot measures, is telling. Red Wall or Blue Wave, this is a country in serious trouble, assuming we still feign to call it a “country” still.

Me? I’m still sticking to my TPC recommendations from a week or two back. Tick, tick, tick, tick. Take a gander at this House map and see if it looks like Balkinization to you:

Given the trends, the data, I’ll give the final analysis to Vox:

Bombs Away!

So, certain deep staters, who’ve been the pinnacle of incivility for years, get a taste of incivility – and we’re supposed to care?

Four “potential explosive devices” sent to Hillary Clinton, former President Obama, billionaire philanthropist George Soros and CNN at Manhattan’s Time Warner Center are thought to be linked, law enforcement sources say — and officials are looking into whether at least one other parcel had a similar signature.

News about a similar fifth package — one addressed to former Attorney General Eric Holder that ended up at the Florida office of ex-Democratic National Committee chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, which was the return address listed — broke hours later. Then, NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed a sixth package had been discovered at his office in Manhattan; a senior law enforcement official tells News 4 that package was not linked to the others.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, my.

This is either those wicked deplorables trying to help drain the swamp a little faster or, more likely, a false flag to boost the blue toilet swirl. Either way it kind of goes to what Paul Volcker said the other day.

And, this may also be a PG-rated preview of 2033. Stand by.

One might recall various leftist figures (Maxine!) calling their myrmidons to go forth and harass the heck out of the other side. Now it seems that both sides can play that. San Fran Gran Nan learned the lesson recently.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was hounded by a group of protesters in Florida — with some cursing and calling her a “communist.”

Video of the confrontation shows the small group of hecklers shouting obscenities and calling Pelosi (D-Calif.) a communist in English and Spanish as she walks into a Wednesday campaign event for congressional hopeful Donna Shalala in Coral Gables.

“You don’t belong here, you f–king communist f—,” one person howls. “You and your f–king Democrats.”

When Pelosi wordlessly walks by and enters the building, the protesters start pounding on the door.

While “socialism sucks” might be a worthy chant, this isn’t exactly fostering of that e pluribus unum.

Multa de chao!

Lessons from Twitter

WaPo’s Charles Lane bemoans the increasing fear factor in and around political/societal discussions.

The report by More in Common, a new nonprofit dedicated to understanding and healing political polarization in the United States and Europe, is based on a nationwide survey of nearly 8,000 people conducted this past December and January.

It found that between 51 and 66 percent of Americans agree there is “pressure to think a certain way about” each of the aforementioned topics, with immigration seen as the least sensitive and Islam the most.

As Congress abdicates its role, columnist E.J. Dionne Jr. says voters must take up the role of checking President Trump. (Adriana Usero/The Washington Post)

Meanwhile, 68 percent report that “it is acceptable for me to express what I think” about race, or Islam, only among “people who are like me.” On immigration, 73 percent feel that way; on gay, lesbian and gender issues, the figure is 70 percent.

This is understandable considering the SJW swarms and the increasingly violent behavior of the radical left. The op-ed is okay: some general pandering to the history of speech policing, etc. And, they just can’t help but add a dose of irony – there’s a link to something about checking Trump’s autocratic, blah, blah, blah. It’s ironic because Trump is the one steady figure demonstrating how to just dispense with the fear and say it anyway.

He usually says it by Tweeting it. Like this one:

President Trump on Tuesday called adult-film star Stormy Daniels “Horseface” and threatened to “go after” her after he won a court victory over his alleged mistress.

“’Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials [sic] lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.’ @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!’ he tweeted.

BAM!

One will note that Trump keeps doing this kind of thing and it all keeps working for him. This will too.

The lesson is: 1) live in fear and self-censor and watch the causes for self-censor multiple, or; 2) Just say it, win, and laugh while the nuts cry.

Democracy in America: A Charming Children’s Story

I wrote this one a while back. M.B. always liked it and he’s been hounding me to repost it here. So, here goes. I reread and, in addition to still seeming funny, it’s still relevant. A few minor changes have been made to the body; at the end, you will find a short “update” commentary. Enjoy.

Last week I mentioned that an election was coming.  I also presented my own favorite candidate – Frank the Frog.  Frank will not win and the election is in vain.  Vote if you care. I don’t.
The Illustrious Barry Hussein El Islam Muhammad Obama the Magnificent has finished the job begun by his predecessors – the country is in ruins.  For his replacement, the Democrats have dug to the very bottom of the bag of wrinkled has-beens, to one Hillary Clinton, the wife of “good times” Bill, the Slickster.
The Republicans have other, similar ideas.  They would foist upon the people yet a third member of the Bush clan.  Obviously, the people are okay with two families maintaining a grip on national power for two or three or five decades.  Their business. Is there some national obsession with rats and roaches of which I am not completely aware?

They are amazing, literally never taking “no” for an answer (and this is not about Bill…). The following comes in the wake of the liberal loss on Justice Kavanaugh and their foreknowledge of the blue toilet swirl next month. Loss or no loss, they can really fire up the base.

They Make the Call:

Eric Holder, who sold discount machine guns to drug dealers and terrorists until the market collapsed from saturation (then gave them away until no one wanted any more), told it like it really is:

“Michelle always says — Michelle Obama, I love her, you know, she and my wife like really tight, which always scares me and Barack, but Michelle always says, you know, when they go low, we go high,” Holder went on. “No. No. When they go low, we kick them.”

His call for “kicking” Republicans drew a quick applause from the crowd.

And Hillary Clinton, famous for the Vince Foster mur 2016 election loss, boldly confirmed the three laws of SJWs:

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. “That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”

Lie, check.

Double down, check.

PROJECTION. Double check.

If only law four were ” go to GITMO” …

Okay, they set the tone, gave the marching orders, and….

The Uncivil Low-Kickers ANSWER:

Police and FBI agents searched a Hudson Valley, New York, home Wednesday and arrested the 56-year-old man living there after learning about his alleged plan to build a bomb and blow himself up in Washington, D.C. on Election Day, two law enforcement officials told News 4 New York.

Court documents say Paul Rosenfeld wanted to draw attention to his belief in an ancient election system called “sortition,” a method of choosing political officials at random.

Officials tell News 4 Rosenfeld had no criminal history but had told a reporter in Pennsylvania he planned to blow himself up on the Washington Mall around Election Day because he was angry about the country’s direction.

FBI agents pulled over Rosenfeld while he was driving on Tuesday, and he confessed to the plot, telling them he ordered black powder over the Internet and built a bomb in his basement.

Authorities searching his home found eight pounds of black powder explosive meant to be used in a bomb that would ultimately weigh 200 pounds.

He had no plans to hurt anyone else, officials said. He is believed to be a lone actor not affiliated with any international terror group or ideology.

Dear FBI: Please check those above quotes by known international terrorists and reconsider this “lone wolf” assessment.

BTW: the ancient and viable sortition angle is BS, mere cover floated by the enemies of the American people at press time.

More to come…

A look even the Shapiros on the Dark Alt-Left can’t (honestly) ignore.

In my Saturday missive to His Excellency, President Donald J. Trump, I recommended weaponizing the FBI “investigation” to make it worthwhile, targeting actual criminals (or EC’s). The message may have been received.

Happy October!
