The Ilhan Omar Saga Continues

And the little lady (D-Somalia) gets more interesting each month. Her latest cause horreur:

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) trivialized the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history in a recent speech she gave at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization.

…

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.

Omar was met by hundreds of protesters when she attended the March event in Los Angeles, who expressed strong disapproval of her use of anti-Semitic tropes and promotion of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Omar responded to the “very interesting” pro-Israel demonstrators by saying: “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”

Well, there is some odd, maybe uncomfortable truth to her words. The one terror group’s activity did spawn another terror organization. And “all of us,” thank you W., did lose some access to some liberties. (How’s that commercial aviation treating y’all these days?)

Forget, for a second, straightforward questions about why we ever needed the presence of any groups like al-CIA-da’s flight school or CAIR Package, Inc. or anything else from the post-1965 era. Let’s continue.

Hart, Celler, and the Masshole Drunk Killer promised us “no changes.” Then the changes came, loud, proud, and massive. Now, we have so many (too many) identity groups competing for whatever remains. Their occasional interactions can be funny. Again, what works so well against the Woodstock Boomers, has no effect whatsoever on the newly arrived. They truly “could care less about” what’s said in re our greatest ally,” “6,000,000,” or any other rhetoric.

Okay, Posterity, back to the hard questions. I’ll start: “Is this whole thing a little too far gone at this point?” Your turn.

UPDATE (post scheduling, pre-publication): Soon after keying this one in, I had the fortune to meet another higher-IQ’d gent, a fellow author of Indian lineage. We struck up a conversation about Ilhen. This man was an exuberant civic nationalist, he (I gather) being his own very good example. We agreed to disagree on a few things but had a very good conversation. One thing we could agree on was that if one can’t leave, say Somalia, behind, then one should get the hell out.

A Big Deal

Yeah. Yeah, spying on a political campaign just might be a big deal.

Attorney General William Barr said on Wednesday U.S. intelligence agencies engaged in spying directed at the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump and that he would look at whether the surveillance was undertaken legally.

“I think spying did occur,” Barr told a Senate hearing. “But the question is whether it was adequately predicated and I am not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated. … I am not suggesting those rules were violated, but I think it is important to look at that. And I am not talking about the FBI necessarily, but intelligence agencies more broadly.

“I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal – it’s a big deal.”

If it wasn’t adequately predicated (and, on what did they have for the predicate, anyway?), then when do the treason trials/drone strikes start? Maybe about the same time as the wall?

Mayor Pete checks all the rights boxes: gay, veteran, socialist, gay, mayor, greenie, socialist, and gay. He’s also getting, for the mayor of a town most people don’t know exits, A LOT of attention. From all quarters. From all the wrong people. People like Little Benny S.

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, for instance, called Buttigieg “nice and refreshing” for his willingness to engage with those on the other side of the aisle.

New York Times columnist David Brooks described Buttigieg as “smart, modest and self-effacing,” portraying the gay millennial veteran with degrees from Harvard and Oxford as a deft politician with a unique background who could surprise people.

…

“There is a big sense that he, unlike a lot of the Democrats, is actually not ensconced in the belief system that says everyone who disagrees with him is a bad person,” Shapiro said in an interview with POLITICO, adding that he’s asked the mayor to appear on his radio show but hasn’t received a response yet.

Deep State MSM endorses “Dark Web” Shapiro. Shapiro endorses (in a way) Buttiguy. That right there…

The (Further) Rise of Socialism

Joel Mathis offers up a simplistic editorial in The Week with three reasons why socialism is rising (again) in Amerika. A quick look at them:

1. Leaders are paving the way for a second massive economic crisis within a generation.

This is correct. He even starts with the Federal Reserve. These “leaders” aren’t just paving the way, they’re rocketing us along at Bugatti speeds.

2. It is becoming more and more difficult for the average American to live life sustainably.

Here, he begins to drift. We do not have capitalism in Amerika. We have financialized corporatism. This second point, on the surface, is true. But, it’s the result of 100+ years of interference, not from capitalists, but from the government and the banksters. He leaves off the bulk of the losses, focusing of buzz issues (and without delving too deeply into those).

3. The party of capitalism put Donald Trump in the White House.

In the end, Mathis goes off the AOC end. We have no such party in this nation-shaped place.

He ends on a decent note: “Frustrated Americans everywhere are looking for an alternative to the fading status quo.”

And, on that note, I’ll add three more reasons:

  1. Americans are getting dumber. With an average IQ somewhere between 9o and 95, they literally can’t understand what has happened to them. Ergo, the desperate reach for any other solution. There’s also the dismal education of those already lacking normal intelligence.
  2. Things, on paper and just for now, are better than they have been in a while. Maybe for just a tiny bit longer, we’ll have some hollow prosperity floating around. When some people have a little money, other people feel the desire to spend it on yet more people. When – Mathis is right – things really go south, the peeps will keep clamoring for freebies.
  3. The people behind the system keep pushing socialism. The falsely exclusive “either capitalism or socialism” is part of the plan. Particular economic (and political) systems are really irrelevant; the masters just pick one or two and run. The ultimate goal is omnipresent Satanic globalism.

That last bit is what we’re truly rushing headlong into.

More Decline, Cultural, Moral, Etc.

The Daily Mail posts some hard numbers and asks an honest question:

Is America becoming Godless? The number of people who have no religion has risen

  • 266 per cent – one third of the population – in three decades
  • People with no religion accounted for 23.1% of the U.S. population in 2018
  • By comparison, Catholics make up 23% and Evangelicals account for 22.5%
  • The three are now statistically tied as the largest religious groups in America
  • Meanwhile, mainline Protestant Christianity has seen a 62.5% decline in believers since 1982, to now account for just 10.8% of the U.S. population

Well, looks like it. And, why are people leaving those “churches?” Maybe it’s because those institutions shun God and His Word in favor of stuff like this:

Dispensationalism first gained a footing through the teachings of John Nelson Darby (1800–82) who strongly influenced the Plymouth Brethren of the 1830s in Ireland and England. According to this teaching, there are (up to) seven ages in the history of man and his relationship to God.

We are currently in the second-to-last age, the time of Grace – the period from the Cross to the Rapture of the Church. The final dispensation will follow: the Millennial Kingdom – A 1000 year reign of Christ on earth, centered in Jerusalem. This dispensation ends with God’s judgment on the final rebellion.

Dispensationalism rejects the notion of supersessionism, still considers the Jewish people as God’s chosen people, and some see the modern State of Israel as resulting in the Israel who will receive the fulfillment of all God’s Old Testament promises.

This view is no longer limited to the small sect that is the Plymouth Brethren. This idea is widely accepted in U.S. Protestant churches, with well-known figures such as John Hagee and Pat Robertson leading the charge.

Around the same time as this dispensationalist idea was being developed, there separately came a desire to restore a Jewish state. Dispensationalism was going nowhere until it met up with this Zionist desire. It was when these two met and wed that the heresy took firm root and gained ever-wider acceptance.

In walks Cyrus Scofield. Who was he?

All that is little different, and no better than the secular good news of the world evil pushed by Satan’s globalists. Meet the new, hip, cool Deep State favorite, Pete O’Butt…something.

“I’m reluctant to comment on another person’s faith, but I would say it is hard to look at this president’s actions and believe that they’re the actions of somebody who believes in God,” Buttigieg said.

“I just don’t understand how you can be as worshipful of your own self as he is and be prepared to humble yourself before God. I’ve never seen him humble himself before anyone. And the exaltation of yourself, especially a self that’s about wealth and power, could not be more at odds with at least my understanding of the teachings of the Christian faith,” he added.

Some people, more than a few think this character, not abstaining per St. Paul’s admonishments, is a worthy moral leader. Really. And, he is … just as the Pedo Qweens are good moral leaders for our children.

According to the investigation by MassResistance, which compiled records, a Houstonian by the name of William Travis Dees was incarcerated and listed as a high risk sex offender in 2004 after he abused multiple children.

Dees is now a member of the Space City Sisters, the group claims, a drag queen organization which conducts Drag Queen Story Hour for children at the Houston Public Library.

After months of investigation, MassResistance said they have been able to identify Dees as a Space City Sister who has multiple aliases.

Space City Sissies sounds like the band that might perform at your local Rock ‘n Roll, Cotton Candy, Feel Good, Mega Church. You know, where everyone! is welcome. Everyone except Jesus.

I’ll never forget this one. It’s from March 24, 2004.

by Patrick J Buchanan – March 24, 2004

In 1960, when JFK defeated Nixon, America was a nation of 160 million, 90 percent white and 10 percent black, with a few million Hispanics and Asians sprinkled among us.

We were one nation, one people. We worshipped the same God, spoke the same English language, studied American history and English literature, honored the same heroes, read the same books, watched the same TV shows, went to the same movies, and saw ourselves as defenders of Western Civilization against the godless communism of the Soviet Empire.

We were confident and proud of who we were. When Nikita Khrushchev demanded an apology for our having sent a U-2 spy plane over Russia, Ike blew up the Paris summit rather than accede to his demand. We cheered the old general’s defiance.

That was yesterday. But due to the Immigration Act of 1965 and the cultural revolution of the ’60s, that America is now gone forever. And as one studies the latest projections of the Census Bureau, the America of our grandchildren will be another country altogether, a nation unrecognizable to our parents, a giant Brazil of the North.

In 2050, there will be three times as many people living here as in 1960 – 420 million. White Americans will be a minority, 49 percent, and falling. Hispanics in the United States, over 100 million, will be equal to the entire population of Mexico today. Our Asian population will be almost as large as our African-American population today.

By countries of origin, America will be a Third World nation. Our cities will look like Los Angeles today. Los Angeles and the cities of Texas, Arizona and California will look like Mexico City.

…

READ THE WHOLE THING

That was then and this is now. Pat has been more than 100% correct about the direction of the Nation. We may not make it to 2050.

Here. We. Go. This is what could be my most controversial issue yet, especially if you’re not into facts. I’m proud MB published this one, even with a disclaimer (not the first time). But, this TPC column (and this blog post) does represent the first time I’ve ever used (((ECHOES))), that Alt-Right touch of rhetoric. It’s probably not going to be a usual thing here or in the CFF annals but, this time, it fit in well.

I make some observations herein. I observe some text and history. I make some predictions and I give my opinions. If you think I’m wrong, then, by all means, point out where and how. Be specific. Maybe I’ve missed some other version of the Constitution, some other Roll Call votes, some other Bills and Resolutions, and some other political statements.

*ed.note – as is always the case, just a quick reminder that the views expressed by author P. Lovett do not necessarily represent or reflect the views of The Piedmont Chronicles, nor its staff or Editor, M.McCart. This piece is…heavy, and could very well be construed by some to come across a certain way; however, as a fierce, fierce defender of the 1st amendment, I never had any doubt I wouldn’t publish it. Or, if you will, I may not agree with what you say, “but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.” As always, we appreciate you reading The Chronicles. – MBM

The Most Special Resolution in the World:

House Resolution 183 (2019), The Craven Admission of Total Failure Act

Not too long ago, freshman Congress Critter Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia) tweeted something about “AIPAC,” or the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. It was something about the inordinate amount of influence the group and its constituents wield in the United States Empire. The lovely little lady from Mogadishu (really) has since deleted the tweet, but not before it caused a considerable stir amongst the perpetually perturbed – a stir replete with 10,001 cries of “anti-Semitism.” You might have heard something about all of this.

What better way to refute claims that Jews in America hold too much power and influence than to have the entire American House of Representatives [SIC] vote to condemn one woman for daring to suggest that Jews in America hold too much power and influence.

That’s just what they did. Find ye HERE the Roll Call vote, number 108, 407 – 23 in favor of House Res. 183, the waaaay-too-long-entitled Condemning anti-Semitism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values and aspirations that define the people of the United States and condemning anti-Muslim discrimination and bigotry against minorities as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contrary to the values and aspirations of the United States [Act].

The 23 rodents who voted against the Resolution did so because they felt the measure should have concentrated solely upon “anti-Semitism,” rather than on the laundry list of grievance groups actually included. The 407 rodents who voted in favor – including Omar (to her credit?) –  did so only after adding a laundry list of offended minority groups. (More on that in a moment).

Not to suggest, in any way, that Jews really do wield ridiculously outsized power in America, this is the second time, this year, Congress has entertained legislation to affirm Jewish supremacy. The first was S. 1 (2019), which passed the Senate 77-23 which, should it become law, could conceivably outlaw columns like this one. (Your author quakes with fear). Yes, as the numbering insinuates, this was the first Bill brought in the Senate this year – a Bill dedicated to the authority, the supremacy of a foreign power. America first?

Now, for the laundry list:

Whereas the first amendment to the Constitution established the United States as a country committed to the principles of tolerance and religious freedom, and the 14th amendment to the Constitution established equal protection of the laws as the heart of justice in the United States;

Whereas adherence to these principles is vital to the progress of the American people and the diverse communities and religious groups of the United States;

Whereas whether from the political right, center, or left, bigotry, discrimination, oppression, racism, and imputations of dual loyalty threaten American democracy and have no place in American political discourse;

Whereas white supremacists in the United States have exploited and continue to exploit bigotry and weaponize hate for political gain, targeting traditionally persecuted peoples, including African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other people of color, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, the LGBTQ community, immigrants, and others with verbal attacks, incitement, and violence;

… blah, blah, blah, more bullshit …

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) rejects the perpetuation of anti-Semitic stereotypes in the United States and around the world, including the pernicious myth of dual loyalty and foreign allegiance, especially in the context of support for the United States-Israel alliance;

…

Tolerance and the heart of justice. Principles vital to the progress of the American people and the diverse communities and religious groups of the United States. African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and other people of color, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, the LGBTQ community, immigrants, and others. Hmmm. White supremacist exploitation the culprit behind black Muslim Tweets.

Before one comes to the Fourteenth Amendment or even the First Amendment, one necessarily reads the Preamble of the Constitution, which tells one exactly who these “Americans” are. They are the POSTERITY of the Founders. This is confirmed by Preamble, The Declaration of Independence, the unanimous composition of the Founders, and by the original Naturalization Act of 1790. “Americans” are – or were – white Christian Europeans of good character, of English origin if at all possible.

The one group not included in that laundry list of sorrows is the very same group who constitute the actual, intended citizenry of this Nation. Interesting, and an admission. Despite Omar’s words, were We really the target? Are we the “white supremacists” they mentioned? Projection much?

…

Word came late last night that a renewed government shutdown may be averted. A group of four crusty Senatorial Congress Critters was able to cobble together another temporary can-kicking budget substitute. And, part of the deal includes $20 $5.7 $1.375 Billion for the wall some steel slats, enough to cover all 2,000 55 miles of the Mexican border. Now, the full Congress takes up the mantle.

We’re saved…

$1.375 Billion would, by my calculations, pay for roughly 4,500 A-10 gun runs and a permanent end to the invasion. That obviously not being in the cards, the slats are the best we can hope for. That, and Democrats dropping (for now) their calls to dismantle ICE.

Meanwhile…

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia) has called for rounding up all Jews in America and sending them to gas chambers criticized AIPAC for using its money and influence to place Israeli interests ahead of America’s. AIPAC, by the way, uses its money and influence to place Israeli interests ahead of America’s.

For this, Omar has been labeled an anti-semite. And, she’s going to pay for it. Well, actually, she won’t. The New York Daily News has some good reasons why, which can be summed up in three words: Black. Muslim. Woman.

Ignoring why we have a Black Muslim Woman from Somalia in Congress and the ridiculously idiotic binary view of Israel and anti-semitism, isn’t diversity wonderful? Far from controversy, this is America’s greatest strength. The party of anything goes, has gone, and now deals with where it went. If I may, “Ha!”

Omar’s final words on the issue were, “Listening and learning, but standing strong.” Wouldn’t that American men did the same.

I’ve always said that. Today, Alexandra O’Crazy-Cortez (D – Coo-Coo’s Nest) explains:

A “Deal” maybe 30-40% of low-IQ Amerikans are ready to take.

She is right, theoretically and historically, about the Federal Reserve. The rest is rubbish not even worth a quote. It’s even scaring the traditional Stalinista Dems. However! Ordinarily, this is the kind of thing the left would keep pushing and, given enough time, would eventually get passed to a large degree.

The great news is that there’s simply not enough time to give. Socialism only takes off (gotta fly to crash) when a nation is strong, healthy, and rich. Depression, civil war, and dissolution will probably force these plans on hold at least long enough for the climate alarmism hoax and the rosy, friendly, we’re-gonna-do-it-right socialism lies to become obvious to even the dumbest survivors.

Ralph Northam must resign immediately as Governor of Virginia – even before Kathy Tran is deported. Call in Chief Hobo for some good old-fashioned drum pounding. I’m sure the NPCs, the media, and the Twitterverse are already on it. No further evidence necessary, we have new rules, you know. We have a single picture and a beer quote:

A photo from Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook shows two men, one in blackface and one in a Ku Klux Klan robe and hood, on the same page as the governor.

The photo, which The Virginian-Pilot obtained a copy of Friday from the Eastern Virginia Medical School library, comes from the 1984 yearbook, the year Northam graduated.

On the half-page set aside for Northam, there is a headshot of him in a jacket and tie, a photo of him in a cowboy hat and boots and a third of him sitting casually on the ground, leaning against a convertible.

The fourth photo on the half-page has two people, one wearing white Ku Klux Klan robes and a hood, the other with his face painted black. The person with the black face is also wearing a white hat, black jacket, white shirt with a bow tie and plaid pants. Both are holding canned drinks.

It’s unclear who the people in costume are.

The governor’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday afternoon.

Under the photo of the men in blackface and the Klan hood are listed Northam’s alma mater, Virginia Military Institute, and his interest: “Pediatrics.” His quote is listed as “There are more old drunks than old doctors in this world so I think I’ll have another beer.”

The photo came to light after a week in which the Democratic governor came under fire for his comments about a bill introduced by a first-term Democratic lawmaker that would have loosened restriction abortions in Virginia.

It would make sense given his recent support for infanticide. Another Democrat with KKK connections. Quelle surprise.
