Terror In Turkey; Terror In Germany

The Russian ambassador to Turkey was murdered by an Islamic terrorist today.

Russia’s ambassador to Turkey has been assassinated by an off-duty police officer in front of terrified witnesses allegedly in retaliation for the crisis in Aleppo.

The gunman -smartly dressed in a black suit and tie – reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” and said in Turkish “We die in Aleppo, you die here” after shooting Ambassador Andrei Karlov in the back.

The attacker was fatally shot by police after killing Mr Karlov and wounding three others in what Russia’s Foreign Ministry has called “an act of terrorism”.

Mr Karlov, 62, was delivering a speech at an art gallery in the capital of Ankara when he was shot from behind in an attack caught on camera, and then shot at least once more at close range as he lay on the floor.

More blessings from the religion of peace. The Mirror.

This isn’t good. The murder is bad enough but this one makes a tense situation much more volatile. The Russians will not tolerate this. Watch for rapid developments in and from this story.

And the world didn’t even have time to process that attack before ISIS (who else?) launched another assault in Berlin, Germany. There, a terrorist drove a large truck through the crowd at a Christmas market – reminiscent of the Nice, France truck attack this summer.

At least nine people have been killed and more than 50 injured after a lorry ploughed through a crowd of shoppers at a busy Christmas market in Berlin.

German police at the scene have indicated the incident is likely to be a terror attack.

The vehicle sped through a crowd of shoppers at the Christmas market on Breitscheidplatz Square near the Kurfuerstendamm Avenue in west Berlin.

According to local reports the driver has not yet been apprehended, and police have now launched a manhunt.

That story is developing also. It happened while I was writing the above Turkey story. Sadly, attacks like this, against Westerners in places like Germany, have almost become routine, the new normal. This trend must be reversed.

The Germans (and the rest of the West) should watch the Russian reaction and emulate it.

The New York Times Admits The Failures Of Gun Control

This one must have been hard for them to write but Sharon LaFraniere and Emily Palmer did it anyway. The Times examined (pretty extensively) 130 shooting from 2015, all of which involved four or more victims. They found:

Still, an examination of high-casualty shootings emphasizes not only how porous existing firearms regulations are, but also how difficult tightening them in a meaningful way may be.

The New York Times examined all 130 shootings last year in which four or more people were shot, at least one fatally, and investigators identified at least one attacker. The cases range from drug-related shootouts to domestic killings that wiped out entire families to chance encounters that took harrowing wrong turns.

They afford a panoramic view of some of the gun control debate’s fundamental issues: whether background checks and curbs on assault weapons limit violence; whether the proliferation of open-carry practices and rules allowing guns on college campuses is a spark to violence; whether it is too easy for dangerously mentally ill or violent people to get guns.

The findings are dispiriting to anyone hoping for simple legislative fixes to gun violence. In more than half the 130 cases, at least one assailant was already barred by federal law from having a weapon, usually because of a felony conviction, but nonetheless acquired a gun. Including those who lacked the required state or local permits, 64 percent of the shootings involved at least one attacker who violated an existing gun law.

Of the remaining assailants, 40 percent had never had a serious run-in with the law and probably could have bought a gun even in states with the strictest firearm controls. Typically those were men who killed their families and then themselves.

Only 14 shootings involved assault rifles, illustrating their outsize role in the gun debate. Nearly every other assailant used a handgun. That is in line with a federal study that concluded that reviving a 1994 ban on assault weapons and ammunition feeding devices that hold more than 10 rounds would have a minimal impact, at best, on gun violence.

No, you can’t legislate morality. Every murder and violent crime in 2015 occurred in a jurisdiction that explicitly bans murder and violent crime. That people prone to violate these long-standing, somewhat universal laws also violate existing gun control laws is not unexpected. They would violate any such laws. And, even if the Second Amendment was undone and all guns were magically spirited away, these criminals would find other weapons. ISIS has made a study of that alternative choosing.

The writers ended the piece with the worn “wild west” analogy for increased armed vigilance against crime; they quoted the father of a victim: “he shudders to think what would have happened had other [would be victims] been armed that night. ‘Are you kidding me?’ he said. ‘It would have been like the O.K. Corral.'”

That man was understandably distressed. But his logic doesn’t hold. Herein lies the weakness in this otherwise good Times story. It’s the same weakness that plagues all liberal attempts to either ban what is already banned or to make sense of any shooting scenario. They simply cannot see any other parts of the equation except for victims and criminals. They completely overlook armed non-victims who fight back with success.

2ndamendmentgw

And then there’s protection against institutional criminality. Divine Freedom Radio.

Some of the same people who push gun control to keep us safe from guns push(ed) air bags to keep us safe from auto accidents. Both positions are somewhat comprehensible even if they disallow free choices. Air bags kill a certain number of people every year. However, they save many more lives than they take. It is the exact same thing with guns. Twenty thousand or so deaths are attributable to guns each year via homicides, suicides and accidents. Yet guns save a million or more lives every year.

I haven’t run the numbers but it strikes me that the guns / airbags death ratios may be very close percentage wise. Yet the while the liberals promoted and mandated the bags they fight against the guns. Something in the logic fails to make sense. Hoplophobia explains perhaps.

Societies have attempted to legislate murder away for as long as societies have existed. The fact that most people do not commit murder speaks less to the laws than to the fact that most people are not murders. Still, as they say, complete morality cannot be legislated. Thus, the rest of us, who are morally responsible, must take precautions against those who are not. Today, in America, precaution looks a lot like a gun.

They Forgot to Blame the Guns: Homicide Rates Up in Major Cities

The New York Times missed a golden opportunity to blame inanimate objects for crimes. They’re either slipping or they have come around to the truth.

This weekend the Times released a story about the rising murder rates in 25 of America’s largest cities (for 2015).

nimbus-image-1473675573656

NY Times.

The story was based largely on the findings of the Department of Justice [SIC] and, to a lesser degree, a complimentary study by the Major Cities [Police] Chiefs Association. Both of those studies failed to fault firearms and firearms owners. Maybe the moon is full or something.

This city trend defies the generation-long decline in homicide and violent crime in general over the past few decades. During that time firearms ownership has essentially doubled. Perhaps someone finally explained the divergence to the Times’ staff.

Why the increase in these cities. The worst offenders – St. Louis, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Baltimore, et al have certain things in common. For one, they’re large cities. It doesn’t take a DOJ study to show that cities are more dangerous than smaller towns. The Chiefs found this was also true even in Canada (where gun control is stronger and demographics different).

The DOJ is good at compiling statistics and running analysis. Following Due Process, no. Prosecuting classified information breaches, no. Numbers, yes. They summarized from the numbers:

The study of crime trends is as old as criminology itself. A large body of contemporary
research literature is devoted to explaining the causes and correlates of changing crime rates (Blumstein and Wallman 2006; Rosenfeld 2011a). The current task, however, is not to explain a long- or even short-run trend in crime rates, but rather a trend reversal in the nation’s large cities. Some of the explanatory factors that have been emphasized in the crime trends literature are poor candidates for explaining the homicide rise of 2015. Shifts in age composition or the consequences of exposure to lead, for example, unfold gradually over time and cannot explain why homicide rates would suddenly increase after falling for over two decades. The same is true of economic conditions, except for the relatively abrupt changes in income and employment that occur during a recession. The last recession in the United States, however, ended at least five years before the current upturn in homicide (see http://www.nber.org/cycles/main.html). Some evidence suggests that a drop in consumer confidence contributed to the increase in violent crime in 2005 and 2006 (Rosenfeld and Oliver 2008). Consumer confidence, however, rose from 2014 to 2015.11 Crime increases also tend to correspond with rising inflation rates (Rosenfeld and Levin 2016), but U.S. inflation rates fell from 2011 through the end of 2015.12

It is reasonable to assume that whatever factors lay behind the 2015 homicide rise should themselves have exhibited comparably abrupt changes at the same time or shortly before. Among the explanatory factors featured in research on crime trends, the three that are examined here appear better able than others, at least in principle, to explain the recent homicide increase. We begin by considering whether the comparatively sudden uptick in homicide in large cities might have been spurred by a recent expansion in urban drug markets. The discussion then turns to the possible role of recent changes in imprisonment rates and, finally, to the Ferguson effect, in both its de-policing and “legitimacy” versions. Throughout the discussion, several empirical indicators are described that can be used to evaluate the contribution of these factors to the homicide increase, once the requisite data become available.

The causes of the trend were three-fold. First, in those cities, drug gang violence was up as dealers fought over customers. (Way to go, War on Drugs!). Second, a recent decrease in incarcerations caused an increase in recidivism – often in the drug business. (One notes that Sam Adams and Busch don’t seem to have these problems). Third, there was the “Ferguson Effect”. (This demonstrates that black lives matter – except to black criminals).

Overall: big cities are rotten and crime is still down in general. It’s almost not news. The big thing for me is that nobody blamed assault rifles. I suppose this was a real factual expose. I’m sure Kuntzman will be op/ed-ing along shortly to cry about the dreaded AR-15.*

*I just checked. Gershy, at last posting, was merely upset that Donald Trump is running for president. I had to look. Can’t be long.

On a more serious note: if Hillary is elected, I’m sure the Times will forget that they forgot about guns. Hillary, if she doesn’t keel over before November, will try like hell to ban guns. She’ll seize on this modest increase as “evidence”. If it’s Trump, then the fascists in Congress will keep pushing gun control.

Either way, someone will push the issue. I really can’t get over that they let it slip here. Just odd…

Sayeth the Drudge headlines this morning:

Matt Drudge, August 10, 2016

Julian Assange strongly suggested that Seth Rich, the DNC staffer mysteriously murdered on his way to see the FBI, was a Wikileaks operative. Thus, Wikileaks, and not Russia or anyone else, was behind the covert investigation into the Clinton crime syndicate.

Where did you read that first? A full week ago I said, “By the way: it wasn’t the Russians.”

nimbus-image-1470829038305

I am sometimes (not always) ahead of the game. I know many dark things and others aren’t so hard to guess.

In this matter, Wikileaks did what the FBI refused to do. If Rich had made it to his meeting, if is likely nothing would have come out of it. Still, Americans who value freedom owe Assange and Co. a little gratitude.

I am surprised by one thing: Rich’s murder was ruled a murder. Given who is involved one would have thought it a “suicide”.

Khizr Khan offended just as many (if not more) Democrats as Republicans when he waved around a copy of the Constitution and uttered the “L” word – Liberty. The real shame is that the Greco-Roman-English law of the Constitution isn’t Khan’s preferred authority. It seems for years Khan defended and promoted Sharia law (in America). That would be the Islamic code which sanctions brutality against women, oppression and murder of gays, murder of infidels, jihad, bribes, and other savagery. Way to play to the base, DNC. Remember, Khan and his kind want this law, not where it originated and belongs, but in the West.

He isn’t now quite as fond of his law as he was of our Constitution last week. He deleted the website for his law firm which was dedicated to helping backwards heathens immigrate to and destroy America. Maybe with his site closed, he will remove himself back to Pakistan. Maybe the progressive left will follow him.

Non-Western immigration has all sorts of wonderful benefits for the dull, vanilla citizens of our nations. An America woman visiting London was blessed with the marvels of cultural enrichment; she was stabbed to death. Her attacker was merely carrying out the mandates of sharia and furthering the agenda of ISIS. Several others were injured. Once they recover I’m sure they will call for more immigration into England and the EU. In a way, it’s a shame the American woman had to travel so far to experience this delightful display of love and tolerance – we in the U.S. are so behind the times. Too many guns to be sure.

Confused witnesses initially blamed the murder on a chubby white man. Someone said they saw him with a knife. Personally, I would like to think perhaps a bystander took up arms in defense and was so identified (wrongly). Of course, an armed white man smacks of the patriarchy. No-one wants that. Luckily, the perpetrator was formally identified as a Somali man. His years of living in Norway and England did little to take the diversity out of him. Praise Allah.

You don’t see too many chubby white men in Somali. You do, however, see a lot of Somalis in America. So far they haven’t lived down to their potential. They’ve collected a lot of welfare, driven drunk, burned down some buildings (mostly by accident through not understanding how gas and electricity work), committed a few rapes, terrorized a Wal-Mart manager, and beat up a wimpy Trump supporter. When will they let loose with some real terror?

London and the rest of England join France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia in anxious expectation of the next diversity session. They won’t have long to wait.

Meanwhile, people in the UK can enjoy some of the side benefits of multicultural Caliphate-ization. They get to see really cool-looking SWAT teams roaming their streets. Eight-year old boys will be thrilled.

Armed officers on patrol in central London

Armed police prepare to deploy from Hyde Park, central London, as Scotland Yard announced that the first of 600 additional armed officers were trained and operationally ready, and unveiled plans to put more marksmen on public patrol. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Picture date: Wednesday August 3, 2016. See PA story POLICE Marksmen. Photo credit should read: Stefan Rousseau/PA Wire (Ain’t they cool!)

I am in the small camp of strange-minded people who don’t like my streets looking like war zones. I am none too fond of terrorists and invaders nor of the politicians and Satanic elites who drive them into our societies. You?

Some, but not nearly enough, people are getting fed up with this insanity. The time is coming. For now we can at least call it what it is. Just before he was murdered by savages Father Jacques Hamel called them what they are and instructed them accordingly: “Be gone, Satan!”

Jesus told Peter “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” the Church. Matthew 16:18 (KJV). He did not say the Church wouldn’t be tested, attacked. Now, though they cannot beat us ultimately, the legions of hell have indeed come knocking. They’ve made war on churches in the Holy Land and the Middle East for years. Now they are attacking sanctuaries in the heart of Christendom.

The lamentation of the women. When will the men get angry? Daily Mail.

The church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray was already known to police to be on an ISIS hit list. It’s only a short matter of time before the police reveal they were also previously aware of the subject terrorists. Hollande, Merkle and the whole gang of incompetent, suicidal morons running Europe must go – now. If they had good taste, they would resign.

Every morning I read stories (sometimes multiple per day) of attacks against the West. In the evenings I jog at a park while dodging hoards of zombies chasing cartoon characters. I sometimes ponder if I actually shift between dimensions.

This will be the last terrorism-related story I write at least for a while. Let me just predict that the attacks will continue and intensify as the year fails. There is much the common people can do about these atrocities, even without the assistance of our utterly useless governments. In the near future I will publish a guide of sorts on how to fight back.

Fight, now, we must.

Much seems unclear to Merkle, Joachim Herrmann, and the rest of Germany’s governing elite. Herrmann said it was unclear whether the Syrian “refugee” (answered that, eh?) in Ansback intended to murder others or if his was merely a suicide gone extreme.

Let me clear that up for them: if Herr “Refugee” had wanted to commit suicide he could have done so with a shotgun in the woods or with some sleeping pills or something. He could have done it in Syria too (easier there – just wait on the corner for the next allied bombing run – suicide by Empire).  Clear as a bell, I would say. To absolve themselves of uncertainty these inept ponderers should just resign.

An alternative thought: If Western life is so bad that the poor “refugees” are committing suicide and turning to domestic violence, don’t we owe it to them to repatriate them back to where they belong? Might help the natives too.

Bastille Day Truck Attack

Another baneful cry of ““Allahu Akbar”. Another attack. Another batch of Europeans wiped out. How much is enough?

The body believed to be of a young child. A metaphor – so goes the future of Europe. The Sun.

Seventy-seven people are known dead and perhaps hundreds more are injured after Mohammedan terrorists drove a large truck through a crowd at a street festival.

Read:

HERE;

HERE; and

HERE.

It is alleged two men, armed with firearms and grenades, plowed through people for 100 meters or more. They may have possibly fired into the remaining crowd and/or at police. At least one of them was gunned down; one may be on the run. The victims were celebrating Bastille Day, today, the “Fourth of July” for the French. Now the French are (again) mourning. ISIS is celebrating. People are “shocked”. Some are in denial. The political rats really don’t give a damn.

This incident proves so much. Gun control doesn’t work – with guns or with grenades. Truck bombs don’t even require bombs now. The Guardian reports this scheme has been long proposed by terror groups; it worked smashingly. Mass immigration from the third world does not work. Angry primitives do not belong in a civilized country. So much.

This shit (I do not ask your pardon) has to stop. It’s easier to comment on these attacks, this war when the battlefield is in France or another European country, but the effects are felt throughout the West. As I see it there are but two courses to follow.

France and the West can round up all non-native Europeans, all non-Christians, and deport them once and for all. That’s not enough though. Some won’t willingly go now. They will fight. Those ardent (yet relative) few must be eliminated with extreme prejudice. And, that’s not enough. Once the savages are removed the real work has to start. Those treasonous, murderous politicians, judges, interlopers, and agitators who worked for so long to import this problem must be killed and killed in a way that sends a message. They should be slain with torture – a very slow boat to hell.

The other way this will end up is for all Europeans to die, for the Caliphate to take hold of the continent permanently. And, right now, that is the way we are going.

Judging from history it really has to be one or the other. There is no middle road. The experiment is a failure. The war has begun. It’s time to fight.

I’ve long delayed a more in-depth piece on this subject, one that draws from past European experience with the same savages and provides much-needed inspiration. Expect it soon. I’m also working on an anti-terrorism guide for average people living in these heinous times, people like the Niçois.

This evening I am almost too angry to type. Damn it! This screams out for vengeance. We need a modern-day Charles Martel and we need him now!

Micah Johnson killed those Dallas cops with a gun he bought off Facebook. What must Gersh Kuntzman be thinking now?

Micah Johnson never balked at the $600 asking price for an AK-47 assault rifle. The buy was arranged via Facebook, and consummated in the parking lot of a Target.

Seller Colton Crews forgot about the deal until last week, when ex-Army reservist Johnson killed five Dallas police officers — and federal investigators tracked Crews down.

“I don’t even know how I feel about it right now,” Crews told the Daily News. “I have no idea. It’s awful. It’s just bad.”

Facebook and Target, worse than the gun nuts ever dreamed of being.

What must the conventional be thinking? Soldiers are supposedly heroes. Cops are murderers. Blacks are victims. Facebook is anti-gun. Target is … whatever. This whole story has gone topsy-turvy.

Crews and his step-father remembered meeting Johnson at Target and his being a veteran. At least they thanked him for his service.

American Idiots: The Mental Illness of Hoplophobia

Hoplophobia: the irrational fear of weapons or the fear of armed citizens; from Hoplon, ancient Greek for the weapons of a Hoplite, or city-state militiaman.

Don’t wanna be an American idiot.
Don’t want a nation under the new mania
And can you hear the sound of hysteria?
The subliminal mind f*ck America.

  • American Idiot, GreenDay, 2004.

Billy Joe Armstrong and the band came up with that one in response to the ridiculousness of the Bush (43) regime. It may apply to our society now more than then, especially to the hoplophobes among us. The phobes are hysterical anti-freedom bigots, steeped in arrogance, ignorance, hatred, and latent tendencies towards violence. Several recent stories illustrate this point.

Shootinjh.com.

Gersh Kuntzman is the poor wuttle journalist left with PTSD after firing an AR-15 for the first and only time. He’s at it again: The NRA is to blame for police shooting of Philando Castile by encouraging citizens to arm themselves, New York Daily “News”, July 7, 2016.

I don’t immediately blame the cops and I certainly don’t blame the victims.

I blame the gun nuts.

Gun lovers and their mouthpieces at the National Rifle Association have done more to damage police-community relations than poor cop training, racism, crime and fear could ever do.

And it’s all due to the NRA’s twisted, sick perversion of the Second Amendment from a cherished right to keep and bear arms as part of a well-regulated national defense into a call to “stand your ground” in all circumstances.

Attention, gun nuts (and that means any and all gun owners not in the service of the state): you are the problem. Everything is your fault. Then again, isn’t everything always your fault? Our fault? At this point, none really care what the deranged phobes like Kuntzman have to say about us. He’s illogical, he’s ill. But, is he consistent?

If one applied his “logic” to the murders of those police officers in Dallas, would that make the Brady Campaign and other gun control “nuts” responsible for that shooting? I’m sure Mr. Kuntzman would say “no” and that the Dallas massacre falls under damaged police-community relations – all the fault of the gun nuts.

We get it, Kuntzman doesn’t like free and armed people. He may not like girls either. At least he’s not fond of Mischa Barton. Barton went on Instagram and relayed her heartbroken feelings about the death of Alton Sterling and others. Kuntzman responded viciously:

While you’re at it, Mischa, why don’t you defecate on the American flag in the center of St. Patrick’s Cathedral during a 9/11 memorial.

Because that might be the only thing worse than actress Mischa Barton’s ham-fingered attempt to show solidarity with recent police shooting victim Alton Sterling and, by extension, Philando Castile.

You see, Barton is an attractive woman. While she expressed sympathy for victims of police violence, she did so while wearing a bikini. According to Kuntzman, that makes her no better than us gun nuts. I have no idea who Mischa Barton is but I’ll take her over the sniveling likes of Kuntzman (more gamma than beta, I’d say) any day. And she called for more gun control too!

Here's Mischa Barton's infamous Instragram post, which we grabbed before she took it down. You're welcome, America.

I guess gun control can be sexy. Daily News and Kuntzman. Thanks, G.K.

The phobia gets a lot worse than the daily new wuss. Says James Pearce, college “professor”:  “Look, there’s only one solution. A bunch of us anti-gun types are going to have to arm ourselves, storm the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, VA, and make sure there are no survivors.”

This demented savage wants to murder people in protest of murders! It’s the only solution!

I’m morbidly curious as to how such an assault would work out for Adolf Pearce and his anti-gun types. We’ll leave alone the fact that it would make them less anti-gun and more gun nut (actually, it would just make them homicidal maniacs).

Kuntzman is anti-gun and he got PTSD at the firing range. I know some of those folks in Fairfax. They carry guns and they know how to use them. They have their own PTSD range right in the office. They likely wouldn’t even have to draw down on the attackers. Pearce’s brigade would probably shoot and kill themselves in comical fashion out in the parking lot. In case it goes down, I am thankful they have good security video at NRA HQ. It’s all a bluff and bluster, I know. Pearce said as much when the cops came calling. It’s the thought that counts.

That’s what kind of thoughts these mental midgets have – violent, hateful, evil thoughts. They are the enemies of freedom … and bikinis.
