At least on the interwebs and all things computing. I swear I remember dial-up being faster than all of the modern, big super tech.
WANT AD: Seeking manual typewriter, mid-20th Century model, in good condition.

Anonymous, meh, Miles Taylor, NTY, Trump
Meet Miles Taylor, the author of the anonymous Trump-rant at the New York Times – as opposed to all of the regular Trump rants at the New York Times.
The anonymous senior Trump administration official who wrote a 2018 New York Times op-ed and a subsequent book critical of President Donald Trump is Miles Taylor, he revealed in a statement to CNN on Wednesday.
Taylor, who was chief of staff to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, wrote a lengthy statement explaining why he penned the 2018 op-ed declaring he was part of the “resistance” inside the Trump administration working to thwart Trump’s worst inclinations. Taylor said that he wanted to force Trump to respond to the charges he was leveling without the ability to attack the messenger specifically. Trump called the op-ed treasonous.
In a Times follow-up, at least Miles recognizes the second coming term. Miles is a “lifelong Republican,” who is also a security chief at Google (not known for hiring Republicans) and a member of the CFR (known for things…).
It almost makes my 2018 TPC parody op-ed (that’s still totally real!) make sense:
Our meetings… At important party meeting and pizza parties, these John Wayne-style, smaller (meaning not total) government cretins don’t miss a beat. They erratically dismiss spirit cooking. They illogically and without reason insist on logic and reason. !SCIENCE! But not narrative science. It’s like these saps really believe in math or something. A few of them don’t always remember to dismiss Alex Jones as a discredited, flimsy, all nuts conspiracy theorist. I even heard one of them say the NFL players should stand up, shut up, and just play. I know we usually reserve this line for MAGA Man, but …. literally worse than Hitler.
Okay, okay, okay … it’s a hot potato but our Illuminati overlords need to know that there are still a few of zus true deceivers in the pile. We recognize the whiff and odor of righteous freedom – and ze hate it. Ze’re doing what ze zan.
Google + CFR = Illuminati overlords.
And, now we know. [yawns]

The Saker wrote a dandy column on the demise and death of the US Empire:
This is not to say that the outcome will not matter, it will – but only for the future of the United States themselves. Simply put, the upcoming vote is either a vote for upholding law and order in the US, or for total nihilism. On a deeper level, it is a vote for the US or against it: the Dems all hate this country and its “deplorables”; they also hate almost every aspect of US history (overturned statues are but symbols of this hatred) and they hate what they call “a racist system” in spite of the fact that the real causes of racial tensions in the US have very little to do with the “system” and everything to do with the unique problems of blacks in a culture with mainly European roots.
The Empire is dead. And I hope and believe that its death will mark the rebirth of the United States as a “normal” country (which is what happened to all the other former empires).
Until that happens, we can now at least rest assured that this amazingly evil Empire has finally died, even if very few noticed this.
Read the whole thing at UNZ. It’s well-informed, entertaining, and mostly correct. I question two points. One, how much of the Empire’s nuclear arsenal is still operational? Enough I suppose to keep the heat radiating as he puts it. Two, I’m not so certain that the remains and rump states will exist as “normal” nations for some time to come. Too many issues of the non-political kind to sort out. Those European roots and the new post-Americans and so forth. A fun ride it was – with much more to come.

CoronaHoax, hoax, over!, pandemic, Trump
This may be my favorite Trump accomplishment. The “pandemic” is over!
According to a press release intending to highlight the administration’s science accomplishments, the Trump administration said it “has taken decisive actions to engage scientists and health professionals in academia, industry, and government to understand, treat, and defeat the disease.”
Great! Now do the election and the swamp.

This Friday, there’s a new video/podcast presentation coming. I’ll have the link just as soon as it’s ready.
And, okay, it’s two treats from FP. The other one is something you can (and should) drink. More on that when it’s brewed.
PS: Thanks for everything! Today, this month at the blog became the highest-traffic in October in three years! In a day or so it should beat January for the best month of 2020. Next month, I’m aiming for 12 visitors and 9 page views!

Anyone who stands against the nations for all groups, white included, stands against God. Add in political worship and one finds someone probably not too keen on Heaven or America.
Loving America almost as much as heaven
Peters isn’t sure he likes the term “Christian nationalism” because he worries people will equate it with being a white nationalist or someone who hates Muslims and women — all things he disavows. But he concedes it fits the definition of someone who wants America to remain a Christian nation. “Some Christians are trying to shame those who love this country or love President Trump,” he said. “We’re saying, we’re not only unashamed, but we’re going to put it in the name.”
The worries aren’t natural. Chuck Baldwin’s latest sermon was all over this issue of crisis. God did not elect Donald Trump for Trump’s sake or the GOP’s. If there was a divine hand in 45, then it was to illuminate what Christians are doing wrong. One such thing is continuing to follow Charlatans.

Macron has shown a semi-nationalistic toughness (a little of it) that surprises. He’s weathering the assaults on his name and person from those who regularly assault his people. Why continue to warn his people?
France warned its citizens living or travelling in several Muslim-majority countries to take extra security precautions on Tuesday as anger surged over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad.
This has little to nothing to do with cartoons. Rather, it’s about anger and violence and discivilizational destruction from incompatible invaders. So, why not warn them? Maybe the time has finally arrived for them to take the extra precaution of returning to their true homes.

Hey! They embedded a question in a headline: Diet drinks linked to heart issues, study finds. Here’s what to do[?]
Drink water, even if it’s carbonated. Water is the perfect hydration for the human body, experts say. If it’s not your favorite beverage, try to add some sparkle.
Better than “sparkle,” try adding some coffee beans and heat. To that end, I will soon have a major, tasty announcement.
PS: Congrats to all who want to shed the weight. Phenylalanine ain’t the answer. 1) Eat less, 2) move more. 3) drink water, with or without coffee.

cancel culture, MSM, pity, SJW, Stand!
The MSM is all upset over the unpersoning of a German Turkish soccer player you’ve never heard of. He has beliefs – great. Everyone else does too, but they don’t get lionized upon their effective cancellation from the prevailing SJW anti-culture.
Everything started with a tweet. Mesut Özil knew the risks, in December last year, when he decided to offer a startling, public denunciation both of China’s treatment of the Uighurs, a largely Muslim minority in the region of Xinjiang, and the complicit silence of the international community.
Friends and advisers had warned Özil, the Arsenal midfielder, that there would be consequences. He would have to write off China as a market. His six million followers on Weibo, the country’s largest social network, would disappear. His fan club there — with as many as 50,000 signed-up members — would go, too. He would never play in China. He might become too toxic even for any club with Chinese owners, or sponsors eager to do business there.
Traditional Americans are scared to death of saying anything that might offend the ranks of those who already hate them. The smallest misstep and it’s off with your [Tweet, job, head, etc.]. You’ve already lost your nation. You’re in the process of losing your state and its empire. Next, it will be the last vestiges of modern civilization. Given all that, being labeled “too toxic” sounds insignificant. For all his problems, Mr. Ozil is still standing. Let him be an inspiration if you can’t find another. Stand up for God’s sake!

Some get an education, others an experience. Or, they used to. Now, in Hoaxlandia, all bets are off for the poor college freshmen.
It’s a major life milestone, the first time many U.S. teens have ever been on their own. Even in normal times, freshman year in college can be a jumbled mix of anticipation, uncertainty and emotional highs and lows.
In these hardly normal times, when the quintessential college experience exists only in catalogs, freshmen are being challenged like never before.
Amid pandemic restrictions aimed at keeping students safe and healthy, colleges are scrambling to help them adjust. But many are struggling.
Social distancing requirements, mask mandates and daily temperature checks. Quarantine and isolation. Online learning glitches. Campus Black Lives Matter protests. Anxiety over whether to join partiers or hole up in dorm rooms or at home to stay safe.
Yes! Stay safe and stay home. Let them keep their hoaxes, protests, indoctrination, idiotic mandates, and especially, all of the worthless debt. Corona may be the best thing that ever happened to education.
