*Note: The following was going to be this week’s TPC column. However, due to developments in the pizza Epstein case, I decided to run with that. I’ll link to the following in the new bit, which should come out in a day or two.

Revealed: Secrets of American History

No. 17: Donald Trump and the Ancient American Airports

Okay. Independence Day, like the namesake, has passed us by. I assume many of you are still reeling from all that barbeque and booze, er … freedom, so I’ll keep this light and easy.

Once again, it’s time for another installment of the old fan favorite CFF segment on the unknown side of American history. Here, I invite even non-American “citizens” of the United States Empire to participate – it’s just plain fun for everyone.

A little known fact, though not our primary lesson today, is that Brother Donald “MAGA 45” Trump and I are both 39 and ⅓ degree Masons. Due to his honorable elected status, he may add the additional title of “Grandiest Exonerated Schlemiel” whereas I simply answer to “Perrin the Most Somewhat-Free Mason Extraordinary of the Grandiose Order of the Holy Wirt of the Cause Celebre Cosmopolitan, Temple of the Ancient Wisdom and Something Else I Can Never Remember, Lord Knight and Night Defender, 39.33334.” (By the way, y’all: to be one, ask Donald).

Anyhow, as members of a secret level within a secret order, one of the great things we do is keep secrets. And, Donald, keeping a secret means NOT TELLING THE WHOLE DAMNED WORLD ABOUT IT!

I had heard that my fellow Exultant Potato planned a Yuuuge speech, rally, and show of military farce for the holiday. I paid little heed except for quipping that the heavy armor and gunships might be better deployed South in an effort to arrest the largest invasion in recorded human history. But, hey, what do I know?

None of it did I watch, and I would have completely written the whole thing off …. But! But, someone brought to my attention a SNAFU whereby one of those secrets was inadvertently revealed by the Carnival Barker in Chief, to wit:

“The Continental Army suffered a bitter winter of Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown. Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rocket’s red glare, it had nothing but victory.”

-Bro. Donnie JT, praising the Continentals, circa 1775-1783 AD…

The New York Times, CNN, FOX, etc. had a field day with the idea that Washington and Co. “took over the airports” from the British. Bro Orange Man blamed a television or that mean old Army man from Forrest Gump or something. Tweets and Grams and whatnot flowed.

Now, the task has fallen to me to set straight this seemingly improbable anachronism…

Yes. America did, in fact, have an airport in the late Eighteenth Century. Technically, we had three of them, they just never got around to putting up a windsock down in Wilmington. The one Donald was foolishly talking about was located where stinks now present-day DC. And, it was at least one-hundred years old by the time of the Revolution.

The unpaved, though well-compacted and level runway was 6,666 feet long. It was built kind of across from where Reagan National is today, with its Northern approach terminating about where TJ’s Memorial currently sinks into the Potomac Tidal Basin. The spot was chosen because it was assumed that nobody would ever want to go near such a God-forsaken swamp. George II once remarked of the project and its mistakenly assumed permanent secrecy: “Heavens! Eveneth the savage red men goeth not there!” Were that it had stayed that way…

It’s not that the Colonials or the British had airplanes – they did not. Rather, the British, sometime during the mid-1600s, had the forethought to build airstrips in the event that self-propelled flying machines were re-invented sometime in the future. They choose remote locations in America so as not to arouse public suspicion. That, and I think they had some DOT budget to burn up. Spend it or lose it, right?

The whole scheme was the dying legacy of the last scientist of the Nuwaubian Moorish True Black Africans™ of Israeli Egypt. Previously cryo-frozen by the Romans, he was thawed and wakened by James VI in high hopes that he would share with the Crown some of that famed flying pyramid spaceship bullshit the Common Core history books push. To the King, he allegedly replied, “Nah Dawg. Crackas done stole our starship shit and lost ‘em. Y’all be waitin’ fo sum foo to run a law-moah injun [SIC] on a bedsheet at da beech sum deyz.” He continued, “But, I would be most happy to design for you a launch and landing space for just such craft.” And, he did.

By the time the great festivities of the War rolled around, all six aerodromes had been forgotten, each being submerged or else cluttered with discount outlets and fast food joints. The brave soldiers who “took” Hollaback Field, as it was originally called, didn’t know they were so doing. Instead, they were likely just looking to make change for the carwash.

And, that’s the truth, the whole diversion, and nothing but a lie.

Next time, I think we shall examine the Southwestern Aztech-Spanish origins of those “nonexistent” nuclear-powered incineration rays, proffered without support during the death penalty phase at certain Nuremberg trials. That is, Trump Tweetin’ and the nukes don’t drop.

The Nukes did drop, legally speaking…

Staying True to Our Cause

Yesterday, in front of the statute of Lincoln the tyrant, and before a throng of supporters, President Trump rallied a disputable people to continue a questionable cause.

President Donald Trump celebrated the story of America as “the greatest political journey in human history” in a Fourth of July commemoration before a soggy but cheering crowd of spectators, many of them invited, on the grounds of the Lincoln Memorial. Supporters welcomed his tribute to the U.S. military while protesters assailed him for putting himself center stage on a holiday devoted to unity.

As rain fell on him, Trump called on Americans to “stay true to our cause” during a program that adhered to patriotic themes and hailed an eclectic mix of history’s heroes, from the armed forces, space, civil rights and other endeavors of American life.

Americans (60% of the population by the most optimistic count, 10% by the strictest) are to continue what cause? The continued numeric shrinking? Open borders? Usury and sodomy? Israel first? What?

He can’t hold back the flood from the third world and the third world knows it. They just keep coming.

Holton told me he interviewed many migrants on the Colombian side who uniformly told him they decided to go to America, claim asylum, and take advantage of the disarray and laws about which they’ve all heard, from media reporting and those who already made it, that guarantee they will get to live and work for years in the United States, and probably permanently.

“‘Trump wants to keep us out, but he can’t do it,'” Holton said he was repeatedly told in Turbo, Colombia as African migrants were preparing to board boats to the jungle trails for 10-day, smuggler-led wilderness treks into Panama. “They were very clear about that. ‘If I can get in now, I’m going to get while the getting’s good.'”

Holton said everyone knew to go to American “sanctuary cities,” where local authorities won’t cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“They have some level of understanding of what a sanctuary city is. ‘If we can get to one of those they won’t mess with us; They won’t get us out.'”

35,000 more inbound, with maybe a Billion! behind them. And, this during a “state of emergency” declaration by El Trumpo. The time for emergency action came and went some thirty+ years ago. Now at the end, something entirely is needed. I discuss what that is in this week’s TPC column. That’ll be along later in the week.

The Trumpster wants the Abrams rolling down the National Mall this Thursday.

National Park Service acting director P. Daniel Smith faces plenty of looming priorities this summer, from an $11 billion backlog in maintenance needs to natural disasters like the recent wildfire damage to Big Bend Park.

But in recent days, another issue has competed for Smith’s attention: how to satisfy President Donald Trump’s request to station tanks or other armored military vehicles on the Mall for his planned July Fourth address to the nation.

I can’t think of a better use for heavy armor than to sit by as the vultures pick the bones of the dead capital. Thank goodness there isn’t some sort of massive invasion in progress down at the Southern border.

Not Even a Small, Ugly Wall… (With FICTION Note by PBL)

Another federal judge halts Trump’s beautiful, beautiful, very impressive plan to stem the tide of invasion.

A California federal judge issued a ruling blocking President Trump from using $2.5 billion in military funds to build a wall along the southern border.

The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Haywood Gilliam, who is an appointee of former President Barack Obama, ruled to permanently block the $2.5 billion after issuing a temporary injunction in May to stop the administration’s use of the funds. The ruling stymies several construction projects in California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

There’s a simple workaround for this problem that does not involve a physical wall nor locking Gilliam in a cage, both of which are still defensible. But, hell, we’re just not into solutions anymore. Hey, look! Here comes more “tasty ethnic food,” now!

Groups of hundreds of Africans, Haitians and others from Central and South America continue to trudge across the U.S.- Mexico border in record numbers, despite promises from Mexico to help stop the massive migration.

Footage from the Del Rio Sector of the border in Texas shows scores are making their way in mini-caravans, with many arriving well-dressed in designer clothes, toting luggage and backpacks with their children in tow.

Well-dressed, designer ethnic food! The best kind.

Friends, I really, really tire of this shit. As many of you know, I’m moving deeper into fiction, with which I apparently do a good, popular job and which I also enjoy tremendously. Moving into the second half of 2019, that’s where my focus will be directed. I’ll still do “reality” columns for TPC (maybe elsewhere) and I’ll still link short bits, with commentary, here. But the focus is going to be on issues and stories I directly control, and which both generate better profits and serve to better express theory and polemical messages, if any. Unlike the situation at the border, it’s going to be great. You’re invited.

But the Nine (five of them) ruled that the administration cannot ask certain Census questions about citizenship.

The U.S. Supreme Court handed President Donald Trump a significant defeat on Thursday, ruling that his administration did not give an adequate explanation for its plan to include a contentious citizenship question on the 2020 census and preventing its addition to the decennial survey for now.

The justices – in a 5-4 decision with Chief Justice John Roberts joining the court’s four liberals in the majority and writing the ruling – upheld part of a federal judge’s ruling barring the question in a victory for a group of states including New York and immigrant rights organizations that had challenged the plan.

Opponents of the question have called it a Republican ploy to scare immigrants into not taking part in the population count.

As part of the ruling issued on the last day of the court’s current term, the justices sent the issue back to the Commerce Department for it to decide how to proceed. But the clock is ticking, as census forms have to be printed in the coming months.

On the issue of the Census: as if it still matters, and the Supremes did pay it some lip service, the Old Parchment authorizes a headcount ONLY. No other questions beyond, “How many of y’all live here?’ And, as to Trump, what difference does it make? He’s not building a wall, deporting anyone, or even defending the border. Moot.

They’re Not Going Back

Wait two days. Two weeks. Two years…

Trump delays limited deportation enforcement in search of a “deal.” Like what? Are they going to agree to go home voluntarily? No. They are here to stay – for now.

From the Tweeter in Chief:

At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!

They, many of them, will go home – as soon as the coming hostilities begin in earnest. That’ll be just a little longer than a two-year delay. But, not by much.

Please make sure to vote in the VERY IMPORTANT election, whenever that is…

Iran, Trump, War

Let’s hope this lasts. Trump calls off Iranian airstrike:

Officials said the president had initially approved attacks on a handful of Iranian targets, like radar and missile batteries.

The operation was underway in its early stages when it was called off, a senior administration official said. Planes were in the air and ships were in position, but no missiles had been fired when word came to stand down, the official said.

The abrupt reversal put a halt to what would have been the president’s third military action against targets in the Middle East. Mr. Trump had struck twice at targets in Syria, in 2017 and 2018.

It was not clear whether Mr. Trump simply changed his mind on the strikes or whether the administration altered course because of logistics or strategy. It was also not clear whether the attacks might still go forward.

Let’s hope he realized he’s being lied to by the neocon nuts. Maybe he’ll just launch them at Iran.

Promises and Obstacles

I’m not going to suggest the President’s vow to deport “millions” of illegals amounts only to hollow words. Not just yet. But, I suggest that no-one in the establishment really takes him at his hollow word. Anyone seen any response, hysterical or otherwise, from the loyal opposition? No. They’re just not taking this seriously. But, various criminal elements are. They’re planning resistance if necessary.

“This [set of hollow words] is inhumane and un-American,” said Joshua Hoyt, executive director of the National Partnership for New Americans, a coalition of immigrant-rights groups. “A massive crackdown will cause harm to communities throughout this nation…. We plan to help immigrants resist this massive abuse of power by preparing rapid- response teams and legal assistance on the ground.”

Aside from what I inserted between the [ ], all of the above quote is either lies or criminal threat. “Inhumane.” Lie; the implications of the hollow words are to be expected under any guise of rule of law. “Un-American.” Lie; the hollow plan is PRO-American, understanding “American” as a distinct moniker. “Will cause harm.” Lie; only benefits away AMERICANS from making America somewhat American again. “Help immigrants resist.” Publically bragging about a conspiracy to commit felonies.

I’m guessing all guilty parties get away with it. I hear the rubes were chatting the old, hollow slogans at the giant WWE, circus tent rally the other night. New Amerika, indeed.
