Was this the plan behind the Baghdad attack all along?

BREAKING NEWS: U.S.-led military coalition says it will WITHDRAW from Iraq after country’s parliament voted for anti-ISIS troops to leave in wake of Qassem Soleimani’s death

Get out! That’s the plain message from the Iraqi Parliament to the US Empire.

The Iraqi parliament called on the government on Sunday to work to end all foreign troop presence as a backlash grew after the killing of a top Iranian military commander and an Iraqi militia leader in a U.S. strike in Baghdad.

A resolution passed by a special session of parliament said the government should cancel its request for assistance from a U.S.-led coalition.

Parliament resolutions, unlike laws, are non-binding to the government. But this one is likely to be heeded: Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi had earlier called on parliament to end foreign troop presence as soon as possible.

“Despite the internal and external difficulties that we might face, it remains best for Iraq on principle and practically,” Abdul Mahdi said.

If The Trump has half a brain, he can prove it by going ahead with the total withdrawal with or without Iraqi action. The option also remains best for what’s left of America on principle and practically.

And, did Ivanka cry just before this last utterly idiotic blunder? Maybe over the fate of the ill-placed ISIS trainer?

UPDATE: this coming week’s TPC column will center on the Trump-Iran-WW3 lunacy, in exactly what fashion I do not know; not thrilled about my draft. That, here, later.

The Trump hits more “pro-Iran” targets. He’s propping up the ISIS-Israel Axis (again).

Whether he is eating ice cream or not, Trump appears to be on a rampage to recreate the end of The Godfather.

Less than 24 hours after a US drone shockingly killed the top Iranian military leader, Qasem Soleimani, resulting in equity markets groaning around the globe in fear over Iranian reprisals (and potentially, World War III), the US has gone for round two with Reuters and various other social media sources reporting that US air strikes targeting Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units umbrella grouping of Iran-backed Shi’ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad, have killed six people and critically wounded three, an Iraqi army source said late on Friday.

May have more at TPC next week. Or not.

Didn’t even make it a full two days before the same shit started in earnest. Yay! A few things:

  1. There is not, nor has there been, a siege on the US Embassy in Baghdad – which is in the “green zone,” btw. Smoke and a mob running hither and tither? Fake. There’s a book by a German journalist that … nevermind,
  2. I had just found a news article (from Asia) that starts to tell the truth about this FAKE Iran-Iraq fakery. But, instead,
  3. Trump goes and puts forth his best argument form removing himself from office (which still won’t happen). Please read those two Asia Times articles and see if you can’t pick out a pattern. Even if you can’t, you also can’t provide any valid reason for the Empire involvement in the SandBox.

2020 So Far: There is an active deep state coup against Trump. Trump does nothing about it. Trump then uses the same arguments and equipment that he could easily use to put down the coup, to instead start WW3. Gonna cut this analysis short – I’ve done this hundreds of times before.

Y’all are going to lose a carrier.

UPDATE: Iran has already filled Gen. Soleimani’s position.

UPDATE: Lindsey Graham is a goddamned idiot:

Iraq, sad..., The Empire, War

Local Iraqis show their full appreciation for the nearly 30-year assault on and occupation of their nation by the very, very good, decent, and exceptional US Empire.

Donald Trump vows to hold Iran ‘fully responsible’ for attack on US embassy in Baghdad: Under-siege American soldiers wound 20 of pro-Tehran mob that stormed complex in retaliation for US airstrikes on Hezbollah

  • American soldiers inside the embassy have fired tear gas, stun grenades and warning shots at hundreds of fighters who broke down the compound gate and set fires within the complex on Tuesday
  • The ambassador was on leave at the time of the attack and embassy staff had already been evacuated before the US Marine guard became besieged at the compound

Iraq. Iran. I-sore. It’s working. Vote harder!

So much fretting about “war crimes.”

California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter, defending a Navy SEAL accused of war crimes in Iraq, said his own unit “killed probably hundreds of civilians,” unintentionally, during his 2004 tour as a Marine field artillery officer in Fallujah, Iraq.

In an interview with Barstool Sports’ Zero Blog Thirty podcast, Hunter explained his support of Navy SEAL Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher, who has been accused of war crimes and is being considered for pardon by President Trump.

“I was an artillery officer, and we fired hundreds of rounds into Fallujah, killed probably hundreds of civilians, if not scores, if not hundreds of civilians,” Hunter said. “Probably killed women and children, if there were any left in the city when we invaded. So do I get judged too?”

Yes, you should – if we did that. We don’t, so don’t worry or ask. The important thing about this (failed) war (and all others) is that the banksters really cleaned up! Also, our heroes saved America from being invaded by millions and millions of inassimilable foreigners. Thank you for your service!

The Ninth Circus and some smart lawyers and SJWs can undoubtedly tell us about the benefits of these 173:

A SINISTER list of 173 ISIS assassins poised to strike in Europe has been discovered in the terror group’s former stronghold of Mosul.

The document was found in the ruins of the Iraqi city and includes names, photos and country of origin of the fanatics, according to German media.

Most fighters on the terror list, 132, come from Iraq, reports German newspaper Die Welt.

There are also Tunisians, Moroccans and Jordanians as well as jihadists from Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia.

But six of the terrorists are Europeans.

They are from Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany.

Die Welt said Iraqi special forces apparently discovered the dossier in an ISIS hideout.

American intelligence services have evaluated the papers and sent them to global police authority Interpol.

No reason to waste all this talent on Europe.

The IRA never operated in Iraq. ISIS does.

The IRA didn’t kidnap children when their parents couldn’t afford to pay a Christian tax. The IRA didn’t impose a Christian tax. The IRA never offered the choice between: paying the Christian tax, converting to the IRA, or being beheaded.

Christians who did not or could not escape in time were faced with an ultimatum – pay a tax for protection, convert to Islam, or die by the sword. Some, like Christina, were kidnapped.

Christian families who remained in Qaraqosh were forcibly displaced on Aug. 22, 2014. The militants took away Christina from the minibus which had driven them to the edge of Islamic State territory, after threatening Aida, who desperately resisted.

The family’s efforts to track her though Arab friends were rewarded on Friday, when they got a call telling them Christina had been found in Hayy al-Tanak, a poor neighborhood of Mosul.

Thank God she’s back with her family.

Iraqi Christina Ezzo Abada sits next to her sister inside a cramped home at a refugee camp in Erbil

Reuters.

By the way, Jethro, there are Christians in the Middle East. When you “nuke it,” you’ll incinerate them.

And, blue-hairs, the Sharia you were supporting yesterday backs kidnappings like this in addition to FGM.

Sorry for the brief interruption. Back to the electronic cave.

America, banksters, death, evil, Iraq, ISIS, terrorism, War

This morning I wrote about how the common people accept tyranny and, in fact, come to adore it. People in Iraq must be missing Saddam Hussein right about now. A mean man and a heavy-handed dictator he was. Brutal. But he didn’t tolerate terrorists in his country (outside his regime). And he didn’t lose cities to them.

Major operations are underway in Iraq at this moment to free Mosul from ISIS after two years of captivity. The battle is expected to take two months.

Forces east of Mosul also secured control over a significant stretch of the Irbil-Mosul road, a key strategic route, the General Command of Peshmerga Forces of Kurdistan Region said, while Iraq’s military declared that it had inflicted “heavy losses of life and equipment” on ISIS to the southeast.

It appeared US troops were at the back of the first column of Peshmerga to cross into ISIS-held territory at dawn Monday. The troops wore clothes consistent with US military — including one who wore a US flag patch on his arm — and were driving vehicles distinctive to US military.

For now, the Americans are mainly with Iraqi counterterrorism units and the Kurdish forces.

The United States, which lent advisers and air support, had earmarked about 500 of its nearly 5,000 service members in the country for the mission. Most are working on logistics, although there are also special operations forces among that number.

The United States still believes ISIS may try to use rudimentary mustard agent as a chemical weapon in the campaign’s final stages. There are reports of ISIS setting fires to oil and tire pits to try to use the smoke to obscure their locations from aircraft targeting them.

Our troops are in the rear with the gear. But they’re still there. We’re still there. We’re in Iraq, in basically the same stupid war, as we have been for the past twenty-five years. A quarter century of insanity.

A short history of U.S.-Iraqi “relations”:

  • During the 1980s Saddam was our ally as he opposed Iran. We have been meddling in Iran since the 1950s; nobody remembers why.
  • Despite posing no threat to the U.S., suddenly Saddam was the enemy (the 314th coming of Adolf Hitler, and not the last…);
  • The U.S. staged a pointless invasion of Iraq in 1991;
  • Between 1991 and 2003 the U.S. meddled constantly in Iraq, both militarily and economically;
  • In 2003 the U.S. fully re-invaded Iraq for reasons demonstrably fictional);
  • Iraq was occupied and Saddam was captured, “tried” and executed;
  • The occupation went on;
  • 1,000,000+ locals were killed, maimed or left homeless;
  • Some idiots chanted, “USA! USA! USA!”;
  • The banksters made a fortune;
  • Terrorist factions rapidly formed in Iraq;
  • The U.S. partially pulled out of Iraq leaving a corrupt and weak government and a power vacuum;
  • ISIS filled the vacuum, occupying Mosul (2014) and other cities and even attacked Baghdad;
  • More locals died;
  • The banksters made more money;
  • ISIS spread throughout the Middle East;
  • The U.S. launched more idiotic wars;
  • The banksters made more money;
  • More people died;
  • The Iraqi government, propped up by the U.S. began preparation to re-take Mosul;
  • And on and on and on…

Twenty five years. Thousands dead (ours and theirs). Hundreds of thousands wounded for life (ours and theirs). Hundreds of thousands homeless (we have homeless veterans in America by the thousands). Trillion$ we didn’t have in the first place down the drain. Terrorism spread like wildfire drunk on jet fuel. And all for absolutely nothing – nothing except making a sh!t ton of money for a bunch of criminals.

burning-oil-fields-resize

Iraqi oil fields burning, or American money fields burning. Hard to tell. Life / Google.

Imagine if we were still fighting the Nazis in the 1970s – all based on lies and with no point and no end in sight. Well, no, it’s not the same. Back then we fought to win. The banksters of the day profited but the profits stopped when the war ended. Today it’s all for the money and so the killing is ceaseless. Hillary may introduce the nuclear payout to the banking purse – at our great expense.

And people are excited about an election next month. The chance to impliedly or explicitly support more of the same Satanic evil and waste.

I can’t even remember why Saddam was the bad guy, suddenly, 25 years ago. Something about another little country that didn’t at all concern us. Or was it a corrupt Kingdom in the sands? Small matter now. As is, we’ll just have to accept fighting ISIS over there. Otherwise they might shoot up nightclubs, stab out malls, and bomb train stations here.

bomb, Iraq, ISIS, New York, terrorism

Though the Bangladeshi government denies it, ISIS is has claimed responsibility for the Dhaka restaurant attack Friday. The Bangabhaban seems to think the terrorists were part of a local radical group. Having copied U.S. corporate styles, ISIS likes to outsource their work so it could have been both.

Today in Baghdad a truck bombing killed 115 people. That was undoubtedly the work of ISIS; it happened on their home turf. Are we all Iraqis now? Are we Baghdad strong? Do members of Congress plan a sit-in to draw attention to the need to ban trucks?

As these attacks happened far, far away from the blessed shores of Columbia, most Americans likely won’t pay them much notice. Too far from home in untrendy places.

How about New York City? It’s pretty close to home and, according to Madison Avenue, it’s the trendiest place on earth. This morning a young man lost a foot when he stepped on an explosive device. Some thought it was a bomb, others assumed it was a fireworks accident. The police don’t seem sure about either possibility. “‘The explosion could have been an experiment with fireworks or homemade explosives,’ said Counterterror Chief John O’Connell. ‘We do not have any evidence of a constructed device or commercial grade fireworks. We believe this could have been put here as some sort of experiment.'”

They didn’t find labels or other material to readily identify it as a product of Black Cat or General Dynamics so it’s some sort of experiment. Who conducts such experiments and why? Two groups come to mind – prankster a-holes and terrorists. Given the terror trend of late, I’d go with the latter group (though it is possible there are rogue prankster terrorists out there).

The bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks were allegedly manufactured out of fireworks and pressure cookers – an experiment, if you will. The physical evidence there was rather lacking as were witnesses, who were either killed by the police or whisked away rapidly into someone’s custody. Still there is a precedent; it is possible to cook up a homemade device using fireworks or any of dozens of chemicals and materials available at Home Depot.

They are saying this incident or experiment looks like a freak accident. They also said WTC 7 had collapsed half an hour before it actually did.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
