CIA, conspiracy theories

The wonderful Anne Wilson Smith penned a great movie review of sorts over at Reckonin‘. She wrote: “It can be difficult for a layperson such as myself to distinguish ‘conspiracy theories’ from legitimate issues, especially about a topic [the clot shot] that is so fraught with controversy.” First, there are few laypersons like Anne. Second, there’s nothing to worry about with “conspiracy theories.” Easy-peasy. A conspiracy theory, anymore and concerning anything important, is no more than the truth in advance. It’s always been that way.

The phrase, or the semi-conjoined deployment of the base words, has been around for ages. However, they found popular traction, among deniers of the truth, in an April Fool’s Day 1967 secret memo from the CIA, Countering Criticism of the Warren Report. In it, the Company heads note that not everyone believed the official narrative about President Kennedy’s murder, and that some suggested impropriety on the part of the agency. Among many suspicions, was the allegation the CIA mishandled information or misled the Warren Commission. The memo references “conspiracy theories,” and offers advice on defeating them. Obviously, the house resolution was to simply and repeatedly address them by those two words. The practice rapidly spread to every corner of discussion where someone nefarious wanted to hide something or where some idiot wanted a shield against copious reading or thinking.

The term entered the popular vernacular soon thereafter, as seen here:

The 1967 memo was declassified years later. And a few years after that, another declassified file revealed that, of course, the CIA had mishandled information and misled the Warren Commission. The conspiracy theories were just the truth decades in advance. However, by the time the truth became known and available, mere mention of it, to the dialect-proof, became just another conspiracy theory. See what they did there? It works very well to obscure uncomfortable things.

Operation 9/11-Woods: The only full engineering report ever compiled proved beyond any doubt that WTC7 was brought down with controlled demolition. Idiot’s verdict: conspiracy theory. It will remain so even after the CIA or Mossad finally spills the beans in exact detail.

Satanic Panic: It was real, it really happened, everything the kids said was right, the FBI knew at the time, the FBI covered it all up, and the redactions indicate something even worse was working in the background. Yet, when I reported at TPC the October 2019 revelation with a link straight to the FBI’s own 600-page report, some midwit babbled about me denying the moon landings.

The Moon Landings: While I have never denied the operation, NASA’s own 1970s spectrographic chemical analysis of the “moon rocks” did. Verdict: guess.

THE Hoax: Almost immediately, the evidence was there. Winter 2020 Asian studies confirmed what was later revealed in the Fauci emails, which included the exact recipe for making the first stage bioweapon. All of the numbers were rigged. The math did not figure. All dissent was suppressed. Case Nightmare Kitty. Now, years later, all serious cases and deaths are limited to those gullible enough to trust known liars concerning a known poison. Et cetera. Yet … even today, conspiracy theory.

*Here, a helpful heuristic: when the information comes from a “trusted source” that has only ever lied, it may be safely discarded. If or when a wolf ever does appear, that’s on the boy. This general principle would appear to also apply to literal crackpots with legitimately wild and unconventional ideas (e.g. the moon really is made of green cheese, or reptilians built the pyramids). Yet, notice that no one in the mainstream ever attacks them and the furthest-fetched, impossible theories. There’s no need. They only hammer that which is or points to the truth. I think it’s something they got from their father.

NATO v RUSSIA: We’re asked to ignore 8-9, 30, and 800 years of repetitive history and listen only to the lies of the chain: SBU-MI6-CIA-MSM. That all observable facts disprove everything they say is no matter. The fact that many of their lies are visibly self-disproving is no matter. Narrative! Otherwise, it’s a conspiracy theory, Russian hacking, and maybe Hitler.

And on and on and on…

How to handle the truth averse and the foolish in the future? The Good Book advises us to refrain from discourse with the simple minded. Try hard rhetoric, and if that fails, just ignore them. With their extremely limited attention spans, they soon go away, off to deny some other plausible notion.

CIA, evil, no laws

How many times must the CIA be found carrying out its primary mission – breaking the law – before it is publically recognized as a deadly threat to freedom or at least the congruency of what passes for government these days?

The letter, which was declassified and made public today reveals that “the CIA has secretly conducted its own bulk program,” authorized under Executive Order 12333, rather than the laws passed by Congress.

The letter notes that the program was “entirely outside the statutory framework that Congress and the public believe govern this collection, and without any of the judicial, congressional or even executive branch oversight that comes from [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] collection.”

“FISA gets all the attention because of the periodic congressional reauthorizations and the release of DOJ, ODNI and FISA Court documents,” said Senators Wyden and Heinrich in response to the newly declassified documents. “But what these documents demonstrate is that many of the same concerns that Americans have about their privacy and civil liberties also apply to how the CIA collects and handles information under executive order and outside the FISA law. In particular, these documents reveal serious problems associated with warrantless backdoor searches of Americans, the same issue that has generated bipartisan concern in the FISA context.”

‘No need to bother any judge, congress critter, or the office of the president; we’ll just do whatever the hell we please!’

Now, sorry to bother you, back to the new abnormal. There’s a mask with your face under it, after all. Some women are sliding rocks across the ice on the telly! And, if you haven’t heard, the mean old Russians are up to something in another country you couldn’t find on a well-labeled map of Eastern Europe.

USA! USA?

China, CIA, stupid, unrestricted warfare

A modification:

In the past year or so, in writing and/or on the PPN, I think I was a little too general or too hasty in dismissing the translation notes from Langley’s edition of UNRESTRICTED WARFARE (1999). The notes’ derisiveness speaks for itself in comparison to the main body of the subject matter. However, the blame probably does not lie with the translators.

After all, as to the line interpreters, any presumable Westerner smart enough to translate Chinese is probably at least moderately familiar with simple algebra. A mid to high-level org flow chart technocrat might not be; one certainly wouldn’t be that interested in it – especially one ordered to “see no evil.”

While I should have suspected as much, I did not realize until recently the extreme pressure and bullying that went downwards through the Company in order to minimize any objective risk assessment concerning China – during the optimistic phases of the now failed Eastward Leap. (One wonders about the political acrobatics happening now as the dark state belatedly comes about). The Dilbert principle at work in a wicked agency.

If you haven’t read the book and do not know what I’m talking about here, then perhaps you’re up for a promotion!

JFK CYA Begins in Earnest

Politico: “All the assassination files were supposed to be public in 2017. Donald Trump blocked them; Joe Biden is still holding some out. Why?”

Because, as the opinion piece makes relatively clear, the agents of satan who murdered America’s last real president know they will be revealed for what they are and were.

On the surface, this moment — the imminent release of long-secret documents from a JFK assassination library — looks like a victory for transparency. The release, scheduled for Wednesday, revives a decades-old declassification process that stalled in 2017, when President Donald Trump failed to comply with a legal deadline to make the entire library public. The CIA, FBI and other agencies had protested to Trump that the documents revealed national security secrets that, half a century after Kennedy’s murder, were still too sensitive to be public.

…

But the announcement also contained an admission that should worry anyone who truly believes in transparency. Biden is the first president to come close to acknowledging what cynical conspiracy theorists have long assumed: There are assassination-related documents sealed away at the Archives that might never be made public, or at least not in the lifetime of anyone who remembers where they were when they heard the shocking news from Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

Kindly ignore the “Q” idiocy. This is the start of yet another admission that the “conspiracy theorists” were right all along. Or, rather, they were more correct than any version of the mainstream narrative floated by the bad actors and accepted by the respectable house media. In the end, we may never know exactly what happened. It’s entirely likely that reams of damning documents have been permanently hidden and/or destroyed.

In a way, the CIA and the FBI are right: this whole episode, like so many others, is a continuing threat to the security of the nation, meaning to the free American People. Those people are slowly vanishing, but it still makes sense to and for the evil-doers to delay the truth as long as possible. The last thing they ever want is for the People to understand who the real enemy has been all the while. As noted, 61% are highly suspicious as-is. If their suspicions were confirmed, would they do anything about it? The news of late suggests not. Regardless, at some point, the truth will out.

Killing Assange

They ran through the “sketches” for doing that. Read this article. Read the whole thing.

In 2017, as Julian Assange began his fifth year holed up in Ecuador’s embassy in London, the CIA plotted to kidnap the WikiLeaks founder, spurring heated debate among Trump administration officials over the legality and practicality of such an operation.

Some senior officials inside the CIA and the Trump administration even discussed killing Assange, going so far as to request “sketches” or “options” for how to assassinate him. Discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred “at the highest levels” of the Trump administration, said a former senior counterintelligence official. “There seemed to be no boundaries.”

Read the entire insane thing. Note that there is still some usual misinformation included in this expose on the way the usual misformation works as it overrides, entraps, and plots to murder those who tell the truth. This is, shocking as it is, to be expected from the crowd that Assange (and Snowden, etc.) exposed for doing things like this.

I think I’ve found a worthy candidate for this week’s column. But I suspected and wrote about something like this – almost five years ago.

Free Julian.

Ticker-taker fans, rejoice! The late, great Rush Limbaugh’s time slot has been filled by the dynamic duo of Clay Travis and Buck Sexton. Rush started his incredible career as a truly independent voice. Depending on who you are or who you talk to, he changed over the years, seemingly joining with the establishment. Still, he was, for the longest time, much better than the controlled opposition at FAUX News.

Travis’s Outkick site was also better than FOX until it was purchased by FOX. Mainstream and mainstream money is a sure sign. Sexton is a “retired” CIA operative. Questionable sources say the show may be known as the Cash and Glowie Disinformation Hour.

Hello and happy Sunday. I hope the assorted hoaxes are treating you well. Yes, I am aware of the various competing accounts of THOSE alleged actions in Germany. Tomorrow, in an early column and in one, maybe two videos this week, I will at least briefly touch on these possible developments and what they might mean. If true, does the literal battle between different forces of the US FedGov amount to a civil war in progress? Or a coup? Treason? Insurrection? We know little as we suspect much. Time will tell.

For those of you unfamiliar with these rumored issues, please return to your television sets.

In Venezuela…

VENEZUELA’S President says authorities caught a U.S. Marine-turned-CIA spy with ‘special weapons’ meant to target the nation’s oil refineries

President Nicolás Maduro said the U.S. spy was caught targeting a pair of refineries on the north Caribbean coast as the country is in the grips of a deep gasoline shortage.

Tom wouldn’t have gotten caught.

This DC suicide has weird written all over it.

Anthony Schinella, 52, the national intelligence officer for military issues, shot himself on June 14 in the front yard of his Arlington home. A Virginia medical examiner’s report lists Schinella’s cause of death as suicide from a gunshot wound to the head. His wife, who had just married him weeks earlier, told The Intercept that she was in her car in the driveway, trying to get away from Schinella when she witnessed his suicide. At the time of his suicide, Schinella was weeks away from retirement.

Soon after his death, an FBI liaison to the CIA entered Schinella’s house and removed his passports, his secure phone, and searched through his belongings, according to his wife, Sara Corcoran, a Washington journalist. A CIA spokesperson declined to comment for this story.

As NIO for military issues, Schinella was the highest-ranking military affairs analyst in the U.S. intelligence community, and was also a member of the powerful National Intelligence Council, which is responsible for producing the intelligence community’s most important analytical reports that go to the president and other top policymakers.

Up in the stuff. Newly married. About to retire. Plural passportS. Secret investigation. I’m sure there is absolutely nothing to see here.

Afghanistan, CIA, lies, Russia, sad..., War

It’s back to Russia, Russia, Russia hype, and/or attempts to prolong the withdrawal from the empire’s longest war.

American intelligence officials have concluded that a Russian military intelligence unit secretly offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants for killing coalition forces in Afghanistan — including targeting American troops — amid the peace talks to end the long-running war there, according to officials briefed on the matter.

The United States concluded months ago that the Russian unit, which has been linked to assassination attempts and other covert operations in Europe intended to destabilize the West or take revenge on turncoats, had covertly offered rewards for successful attacks last year.

Because that just makes perfect sense…

Spokespeople at the National Security Council, the Pentagon, the State Department and the C.I.A. declined to comment.

I imagine this whole idiotic story is nothing but their fictional comment. But hey, Boomer Cons love this kind of fantasy.
