The Real Shame

Read what Philip Salzman and Paul Craig Roberts have to say about what passes for America and her colleges.

Universities in the 20th century were dedicated to the advancement of knowledge. Scholarship and research were pursued, and diverse opinions were exchanged and argued in the “marketplace of ideas.”

This is no longer the case. Particularly in the social sciences, humanities, education, social work, and law, a single political ideology has replaced scholarship and research, because the ideology presents fixed answers to all questions. And, although the most important thing in universities today is the diversity of race, gender, sexual practice, ethnicity, economic class, and physical and mental capability, there is no longer diversity of opinion. Only those committed to the ideology are admitted to academic staff or administration.

Universities have been transformed by the near-universal adoption of three interrelated theories: postmodernism, postcolonialism, and social justice. These theories and their implications will be explored here.

There Is No Truth; Nothing Is Good or Bad

The great shame is that most of the students do not know and do not care. Neither do their idiot parents. Neither do other idiots. Maybe they should.

Add in the second- and third-generation migrants, and you’re looking at around 85 million foreigners in a population of 310 million. That’s why I said, on a recent Darkstream, that the level of violence that can be reasonably anticipated in a US-breakdown scenario is Cultural Revolution-magnitude, which would indicate fatalities in the 50M to 100M range.

That’s Vox Day’s assessment. I was thinking 50 – 80 million. Another shame is that, again, nearly none care. (The greatest shame may be that 80 – 100M is too few).

April Serious

Once again, April Fool’s Day caught me unprepared. But! Here’s a serious but cool interlude for the musically-minded.

Anna Fedorova is coming to South Carolina! Two dates and soon, this month. Click HER SITE for the Calendar. She’ll be in Utah later in the year.

Possibly the best Rachmaninoff pianist in the world. Mean Tchaikovsky too.

The easy on the eyes part is purely coincidental.

Happy April!

Br’er Zuckerberg’s Tar Baby

Zuck wants to protect you and your private data. Let that sink in. Come closer, little girl, I’ve got some candy… Of course, the only known way to protect people is through more and more government intrusion. Perish the thought that people could just, you know, stay off of known spy and misinformation sites.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Saturday called for governments to play a greater role in regulating the Internet, citing four areas where he believes better rules are needed.

Zuckerberg said new regulations are needed to protect society from harmful content, ensure election integrity, protect people’s privacy and to guarantee data portability.

Facebook has faced a torrent of public criticism over its handling of Russian intervention in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and its policies on hate speech that many governments and users consider too lax. At the same time, conservative lawmakers in the U.S. have accused Facebook of political bias and censorship.

Zuckerberg proposed regulating harmful content by setting up independent bodies to set standards for what is considered terrorist propaganda and hate speech and is therefore prohibited.

‘You don’t say much, do you? You stuck up or something?!’ And, Tar Book, she still ain’t say nothin’…

But, Br’er Lovett, he say plenty. From TPC, last April:

His other motive was the afore-mentioned collusion. A dirty little secret of the political world is that large corporations are absolutely head over heels in love with government regulation. State mandates price out competition, prevent startup challenges, foster monopolies, and raise profits. One of “your” political heroes hinted around this fact; Zuck nodded along sheepishly.

What we witnessed this week was the deprecation of freedom, free markets, and personal responsibility. Some would spread that spirit beyond the socials unto the whole internet. There’s the old adage about sacrificing essential liberty for false security. Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear will promise saaaaafety, all the while plotting to sacrifice Br’er Rabbit to the dinner pot. Help we could do without, that.

See? I. Told. You. So.

Cutting the Subsidies

The cost of the migrant caravan is going up as Trump cuts illicit aid to three countries.

Democratic Representative Nita Lowey, who chairs the committee, tweeted that the move to cut aid was “immoral and more likely to deteriorate conditions that push people into the kind of poverty and despair that exacerbates migration.”

New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Trump’s order a “reckless announcement” and urged Democrats and Republicans alike to reject it.

“U.S. foreign assistance is not charity; it advances our strategic interests and funds initiatives that protect American citizens,” Menendez said in a statement.

Trump claimed on Friday during a trip to Florida that the countries had “set up” caravans of migrants in order to export them into the United States. A surge of asylum seekers from the three countries have sought to enter the United States across its southern border in recent days.

“We were giving them $500 million. We were paying them tremendous amounts of money, and we’re not paying them anymore because they haven’t done a thing for us,” Trump said.

Good first step, Mr. President. I temper my harsher words from the other day. He’s right, they haven’t done anything for us, rather they’re doing to us.

Lowey and Mendendez are fools. The immorality of the things is in the theft from Americans of money then used to import problems for the same Americans to deal with – a double-edged sword of which we’re catching both sides. And, we have a vested interest in preserving and defending THIS country.

$500 million would pay of many an A-10 sortie.

Prepper News

Greetings, prepper peeps. Some good news and a whisper.

The rumor first: something may be happening with Freedom Prepper (emphasis on “something” and “may be”). This would be something beyond my posting a new Venezuela video.

The great news! My friend, Samantha Biggers, one of the best prepper writers out there, has a new (to me) site:

Samantha Biggers

It’s a place for better ideas about all things prepping, which, now, is more important than ever. Browse around. She even has a link to my craziness.

The ALL NEW 2019 Giant Migrant Invasion Caravan!!!

Tags

, , , , , ,

It’s like the Dodge Caravan except that it never breaks down or stops moving. Right now, it’s headed to (and through) MEX. Next stop – the U.S.E.!

Mexico is bracing for the possible arrival of the “mother of all caravans,” even as doubts arise over whether the group of Central American migrants will be all that big.

Interior Secretary Olga Sanchez Cordero has said a caravan of migrants from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala could be forming.

“We have information that a new caravan is forming in Honduras, that they’re calling ‘the mother of all caravans,’ and they are thinking it could have more than 20,000 people,” Sanchez Cordero said Wednesday.

But a WhatsApp group calling for people to gather Saturday in El Salvador to set off for Guatemala only has about 206 members.

I love the new, hip, cool, and trendy caravans, with apps and activists. 20,000 is a drop in the 1.5 Million bucket, folks, don’t worry. Nothing a wall wouldn’t stop. Or an A-10. (Maybe two A-10s for 20K).

If the catch and release system is overwhelmed, then why not just make it a straight release program? Texas towns, churches, and bus stations: strength, economic growth, and nebulous “blessings” are coming.

Some other notes:

Venezuela. I made mention of a follow-up video. I have the material I need. Now, I’m just looking for the time and energy. Stand by.

Christchurch. I finally watched the original video of the false flag at the terror training camp in Christchurch, NZ. (Ms. Ardern, consider showing real solidarity with your conquerers by changing the name to “Allahmosque, NZ”). I’ll definitely give my analysis, maybe here, at TPC, or even on Post-literacy Tube.

This, here, will do for a Saturday afternoon.

From Common Core to Common Language, Orwellian Collectivism at Amherst

Tags

We had, upon a time, a common language. It was called “English.” Much has changed. Now, Amherst College in Massachusetts has a new Common Language Guide, which looks uncommonly idiotic. From the Boston Herald:

A politically charged glossary for Amherst College students that disparages capitalism and dictates a broad range of PC gender terms has been withdrawn after campus Republicans howled in protest, saying the Orwellian language guide threatened to stifle free speech.

The document defines “capitalism” as a system that “leads to exploitative labor practices, which affect marginalized groups disproportionately.”

“White feminism” is “predicated upon the erasure of women of color and the ways in which racism and sexism converge and compound one another.”

“Homonationalism,” per the document, is used “to explain the ways in which cis-gay and lesbian veterans of the Iraq War were celebrated as proof of American exceptionalism in contrast to racist/orientalist discourse about Iraqi combatants and other people in Central Asia racialized outside of U.S. understandings of whiteness.”

Well, at least they’ve found one form of nationalism to approve of…

This week’s TPC column focused, largely, on the systemic fraud of college admissions. At many schools (Amherst ain’t the only one with a book like this) the fraud continues through the curriculum and student life. This is part of it.

THE WHOLE PC/BS GUIDE

They left out “Anti-Christianism” and “Europhobia.” I also saw nothing about the sacred wonders of Pedo-Cannibalism. Bigots.
