18 USC 1324, aiding and abetting, California, crime, immigration, invasion, law, police, War
Exciting news from the land of fruits and nuts! One LAPD Officer takes the sanctuary policies of his state very seriously.
A Los Angeles police officer has been arrested on federal charges alleging he tried to smuggle two illegal immigrants into the United States this week in southeastern San Diego County.
Mambasse Koulabalo Patara has been charged with violating immigration laws, according to a federal complaint filed Wednesday.
Thank you, Emanuel Celler! Mambasse Koulabalo (Another Gift of 1965) Patara.
18 USC 1324. Five years, maybe 10 depending on how they charge. The mule being a cop, he probably has a good record; he’ll likely benefit from the sentencing guidelines. He might even turn informant. His failed run might have been sponsored by LA or the State. Who knows.

Is this Peterson cat a coward? Or was he ordered to stand down? At least the popular press pressured the authorities to release a video.
A surveillance video released on Thursday shows a sheriff’s deputy assigned to the Parkland, Florida high school staying outside while a former student fatally shot 17 people, according to the sheriff’s office. The 27-minute video shows Broward County Deputy Sheriff Scot Peterson failing to enter Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where he worked as an […]

Sans, evidence or an actual crime, of course. The Drug Whisperers:
These are armed government workers such as Cobb County, Georgia’s TT Carroll – who have received similar “training” and been anointed Certified Drug Recognition Experts, ready to go to war on drugs – even if there aren’t any around.
Carroll and other “trained experts” have arrested numerous motorists on the basis of the mere assertion that they are On Dope.
Nothing more.
Certainly not on the basis of empirical evidence that they actually are On Dope, such as a blood or urine test. That’s too much of an inconvenience – and probably too factual, as well.
Instead, the DRE’s “trained” opinion that the person he has waylaid – often on the pretext of a minor traffic offense, such as driving slightly on the shoulder or touching a yellow line, probably with the DRE cop car riding their bumper – is a Doper. The victims are arrested, caged and charged – and must then prove themselves innocent of the charges.
Those who argue for “law and order” and say the police never arrest innocents – they do. And, this isn’t even remotely law and order, it’s no law and disorder. All for “your” government.
Don’t talk!

The cops: DO NOT talk to them.
Mike Flynn, today, surely reflects on his fateful decision to discuss matters with the FBI. The FBI are the police. Thus, one should not speak to them.* If you’re not talking, you’re not lying. If you talk and they say you lie, you’re a liar. You get convicted. Felony. Their B—-h going forward. Blah. Blah.
You have the right to remain silent for a reason. Remember that. Anything you say can AND WILL be used against you.
All this talk about “Ty Cobb” have anyone else thinking baseball?

Mimesis/Universal.
*The exceptions would be if you’re superhuman or if you’re talking to a cop, over beers, in his driveway about something that doesn’t really concern either of you…
Okay, Happy December. November, and prior months, have been pretty slow. I’m thinking about a “lightening” round to clear out drafts and such without much additional commentary – and to boost reading, etc. This would be an example. Look for more. Click.
The Christmas ties are coming…

Big Brother? Or Big Smother? Just a day in the life in Airstrip One Wichita.
If you are caught making a violation on camera by a staffer who is monitoring Old Town from an office in City Hall, that staffer will call and alert a nearby officer of your violation.
The staffer will provide the officer with your location, a description of your vehicle and what violation you made.
That officer can then pull you over.
“I hope people don’t perceive this as ‘Big Brother,’ ” Wichita police Sgt. Kelly O’Brien said. “Officers are monitoring public places where you see it from public viewing. It’s just a way for officers to enhance their abilities to protect the community and improve traffic safety and also improve officer safety.”
Still, O’Brien knows not everyone will think this is OK.
“I did an informal survey before we ever did this to every friend and person I came across, and it’s a 50/50 split,” he said, mentioning that even his wife and daughter were not necessarily on board with camera-based traffic enforcement.
There are 97 cameras monitoring the core of Old Town, with particular attention at First and Washington, Second and Washington and Third and Mead.
Eye in the sky watching you 24/7. How could anyone possibly associate that with “big brother”?
There are ways to beat camera-based offenses, pretty easy ones. However, most will simply opt to pay the taxes fines. That’s what Big Brother O’Brien counts on. And the courts have already rubber-stamped the telescreens. Probably not 50/50 either – the peeps gotta love this “security”.

Definitely NOT Big Brother. You have the right to confront the teevee accuser. Or maybe the keyboard. Nah. Kansas.com.

Last month I noted that Worth County, Georgia Sheriff Jeff Hobby made a hobby of violating civil rights and committing sexual assaults at the local high school.
The kids, almost all of them – some 900, at Worth County (government) High School in Sylvester, Worth County, Georgia found out about the tyranny the hard way. One bright day they were ALL summoned into the hallways and strip-searched, many sexually assaulted. This warrantless and baseless intrusion was the work of Sheriff Jeff Hobby whose hobby seems to be violating civil rights.
The illegal search, unannounced to school officials, was loosely based on the unsubstantiated suspicion that three (3) of the 900 students MAY have been involved with narcotics. So, rather than investigate those three, Hobby and his gang of statist enforcers attacked all the children. No drugs or other problems were found.
Hobby was already a named defendant in a federal civil suit. Now, he is formally accused of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and violating his oath of office.
The Worth County indictment accuses Hobby of one count of violating his oath of office and two counts of false imprisonment — all felonies charges. He was also indicted on one count of sexual battery, a misdemeanor.
Hobby’s attorney Norman Crowe Jr. said the sheriff was at the school, but did not search students. He said jurors at trial will get to hear the sheriff’s side of the story.
“The sheriff’s position is that he’s not guilty,” Crowe said. “He’s committed no crime.”
Deputy Tyler Turner was indicted on one felony count of violation of his oath of office and one misdemeanor count of sexual battery. Deputy Deidra Whiddon was indicted for one felony count of violation of her oath of office.

I’m going where now? AJC/WALB.
A little justice perhaps.

Constitution, crime, don't talk, FBI, police, Reality Winner (Real Name), right to remain silent, spying, stupid
Just don’t do it. Don’t ever answer their questions or give them statements. Just don’t talk. Reality Winner, alleged NSA leaker, could tell you about it.
In the interview [with the FBI], Winner at first denied several times that she leaked any secret documents. She said she had been trying to get an assignment working with U.S. forces in Afghanistan.
First she acknowledged printing a report that “looked like a piece of history.” She told the agents “I thought it would be cool if I had it on my desk for a couple of days.” But she insisted she dropped the report in a bin used for papers that were to be destroyed.
“I mean, I’m trying to deploy,” Winner said. “I’m not trying to be a whistleblower. That’s crazy.”
She changed her story after an agent asked bluntly how she got the document out of the office.
“Folded in half in my pantyhose,” Winner replied.
Winner at one point asked the agents, “This sounds really bad. Am I going to jail tonight?”
One of the agents replied, “I don’t know the answer to that yet.”
An interview (i.e. talking). One story. Another story. On and on. Yes, dear, it sounds bad – because it sounds. Because you’re talking. Period. Half the time they have no evidence other that what you volunteer. Give them anything and, as they WARN YOU, it “can and WILL be used against you in court.” Yes, you’re in jail, now. Judge Epps will probably keep you there after today’s hearing.
Actually, I’m not so sure Winner could put all this together even at this time. She has a history of talking. A lot. Little of it makes sense:
“Yeah, I screwed up royally.”
Saying anything is a bad idea. That one was really bad.
“Look, I only say I hate America like 3 times a day. I’m no radical. It’s mostly just about Americans obsession with air conditioning.”
Like, OMG, radicals at least attempt a little coherency.
“I mean yeah I do [America’s] literally the worst thing to happen on the planet. We invented capitalism the downfall of the environment.”
Give an SJW a little rope… Yeah, maybe that’s not fair, here. How about SJI = Social Justice Idiot?
“I’ve filed formal complaints about [the NSA] having Fox News on, you know? Uh, just at least, for God’s sake, put Al Jazeera on, or a slideshow with people’s pets.”
She needs to be re-educated for bringing God into this. People’s pets???
I’m starting to see a mental deficiency defense if nothing else. Something lacking in the amygdala or something…
For the rest of you: just don’t talk.

In causally related news, the other day was the 230 anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. I missed it along with all the “fun”. Shame they didn’t miss it back in 1787. Proof some lies live forever a long time.

As usual, as always, at least one of the London terrorists was previously known to authorities:
One of the three jihadists who murdered revellers in central London on Saturday had been reported to the anti-terror police on at least two occasions, it has been claimed.
A former friend of the terrorist, who was shot dead by police along with two accomplices, claimed he had been radicalised while watching YouTube videos and said he contacted the authorities after becoming concerned over his friend’s extremist views.
A neighbour also claimed she had contacted police in Barking, east London, after the suspect tried to convert her children to Islam and radicalise them. The man is not being named at the request of the police.
Every. Single. Time. Think about that. There’s another attack coming soon, maybe by the end of the week. The police, MI5, MI6, or someone knows who’s behind that too – before it happens. Will I. Am and Ariana Grande left that thought out of their “we won’t be divided” fundraiser vigil.

Are these guys always just to be a reactionary force? Niklas Halle’n/AFP/The Telegraph.
And, Mrs. May, it’s not the YouTube. One can learn just about anything on-line. It’s the mindset of a certain brand of people. Ban the later, not the former.
This blurb also explains away the idiots’ Islamist apologies and excuses expressed by comparing them to the IRA. The IRA did not, the New IRA does not, seek to convert and radicalise anyone. Theirs was (is) a struggle for independence in their own land. They want to be left alone by the Crown. The Jihadis want to invade and conquer a place where they don’t belong. The equivocating helps them.
The IRA was (is) geo-political. It has nothing to do with “Catholic vs. Protestant” anymore than the American Uncivil War had to do with “Church of Christ vs. Episcopalian.” ISIS is geo-religious. That’s why, wherever they are, they commit their evils in the name of Allah.
The IRA operated in some form or fashion for about 100 years. The Islamists have been active in the UK for about 15. That’s why the IRA has a higher death count (in the UK) – and ISIS is catching up at warp speed. And ISIS/al Qaeda/et al is an international movement; their global numbers dwarf the IRA’s, to approach even state actor levels.
Diversity-mongers, please quit with the excuses and write-offs.
And please stop the denials and the “shock” when these things happen. “We don’t know if the truck driver was Muslim. White-Hispanic? Not even sure it’s terror related.” BS. The police know. They even have names and files.
Always.
