GOP, Nikki Haley, stupid

Last night when I pondered the Stupid Party in 2024, I did not know about this pitiful article.

The 2024 hopeful can’t decide who she wants to be—the leader of a post-Trump GOP or a “friend” to the president who tried to sabotage democracy.

I guess going back to her nation is out of the question. From the two options foolishly framed for Nimrata, I’d go with “leader;” she’s exactly what the GOP deserves.

It’s just a random hunch and a very bad one, but try this on for size: Nimrata Nikki Haley, 2024.

If only the GOP could open up the gates of progressive, inclusive DIEversity as the Gen Z kids say. This story is from NBC “News” so it obviously draws certain conclusions about the electoral victory of Empress Kamala.

For many young Republicans, Trump’s loss signals an opening for new directions within the party. Several said in interviews that they want the party to become more tolerant and inclusive while staying true to conservative values.

“The GOP has a lot of really good policy, a lot of winning policies, but it does seem like often we can get caught up on the losing ones and fight like hell for them,” said Cameron Adkins, a sophomore who is vice president of College Republicans at Columbia University. “When in reality, they’re losing issues with the American people.”

Loser party, losing issues. Makes sense.

Adkins, 19, said he hopes the party can expand its reach by continuing to make priorities of core social issues, such as guns and abortion, while embracing a rapidly diversifying electorate by toning down its rhetoric around racial injustice, which research shows young people tend to be more tapped into.

“We should be attempting to expand our reaches, even if it does cost us” some of the more traditional Republican voters, he said. “I guess I’m willing to lose as long as we’re doing the right thing.”

At least he’s willing to lose, the most Republican thing ever! Could he or his luciferian handlers tell us what the GOP has done to stop ninety years’ worth of steady gun control? No. How many babies have they saved in the past 48 years? Zero. Read the whole thing, about changes in the last 50 years, the lessening of [Christian] religious influence, the “old racist white people,” the LGBTQ+VPC, and more.

The GOP is the worse side of the Uniparty because they vaguely lie about traditional American ways even as they always march along with, maybe a half-step behind, the more honest Demoncrats. They have conserved nothing and should be put down immediately. If Trump (about the only real RINO there is) loses on Wednesday, then the GOP’s decades of faithless appeasement and corruption will succeed; the last official, legal vestiges of America in the US will die.

None of this, or very little of it, is the fault of the younger generation. Rather, it is the product of more than a century of evil and stupidity by older, worthless fools. On or about January 20th, there is a distinct possibility that the kids will go actively on the hook for what has been done to them and the former nation they never had a chance to know. Millstones and fire should await the guilty.

Winners like to win. Herschel Walker:

After reading @SidneyPowell1’s 270 page report, any person that certified Votes for their state when their state may have had voter fraud but they turned a blind eye and did no research and certified anyway, they need to go to JAIL ASAP. Our Country was built on LAW AND ORDER.

You’d have to lure him back from Texas. But listen, Georgia GOP, for the next gubernatorial election, if you had any intelligence at all … nevermind.

You weren’t paying attention. There is no pretense anymore about fiscal (or other) responsibility in DC. The next time someone warns that you have to vote Republican or else the Democrats will win, just remind them about this tiny little stimulus Act:

Republicans who have spent the past decade howling about the danger of ballooning deficits embraced the coronavirus rescue package approved by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump, shrugging off past concerns about spending in the face of a public health crisis.

In many cases, the conservatives who backed the $2 trillion bill — the largest economic relief measure in U.S. history — were the very same who raged against the nearly $800 billion economic stimulus package backed by the Obama administration.

But facing the unprecedented threat of a global pandemic — and working under a Republican president who has largely brushed off concerns about debt and deficits — the GOP was willing to overlook an unprecedented flood of taxpayer spending. Leading budget hawk Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., who insisted in 2009 that government cannot spend its way out of a recession, this week joined a unanimous Senate majority that approved what he described as “the biggest government intervention in the economy in the history of the world.”

“This is a response to an invasion,” he told reporters. “This is the kind of thing you’d have to do if we were at war.”

Oh, silly me. I forgot we are at war. That totally justifies sacrificing everything to the very real and visible viral enemy that invaded and took complete control of the dead nation. Carry on!

Impotent, Powerless, and Stupid: the GOP in 2019

No wonder the Groypers are giving the establishment cucks fits. PCR on the rot in the GOP:

When you start thinking along these lines other puzzling questions come to mind. For example, why does the leadership of the Democratic Party seem to be in the hands of feminists and people of color on one side and crooks like Joe Biden on the other. What holds a party this naturtally divided together?

Why does an anti-white odor emanate from the Democratic Party, especially an anti-white heterosexual male ordor? Why are all of Epstein’s pedophile clients Democrats? Has the Democratic Party become the party of immigrant-invaders and sexual perverts?

Republicans come across as impotent, powerless, and stupid. They have stood there impotently while two of their more effective fundraisers and political advisers, Paul Manafort and Roger Stone, were framed in broad daylight by the utterly corrupt Russiagate special prosecutor Robert Mueller and sentenced to prison. This never happens to Democrats. Only to Republicans. The Epstein case has disappeared.

Mueller was empowered to investigate Trump’s cooperation with Russian influence on his election. No one gave Mueller the task of investigating the long ago and unrelated financial affairs of Manafort and Stone.

Trump with the weakest response against an impeachment devoid of any evience is afraid to pardon Mueller’s victims, people convicted of offenses that are unrelated to the Russiagate investigation. The entire purpose of the false convictions of Manafort and Stone is to prove that Republicans are too scared to protect their own. Mueller’s purpose was to break-up the ranks of Trump supporters and turn them against one another. Once one runs for the exit, the rest follow.

Stupid is as Republican does, but things trend ridiculous. It will be instructive (or would be) to the GOP herd when Trump wins 2020 handily, even as they lose ground. It would be, but the stupid thing. A party no more?

Realizations of the Very Stupid Party

Even the dumbest of conservatives are beginning to sense something is wrong. An article full of so many cliches that it’s hard to track them bemoans the very predictable GOP loses in VA.

RICHMOND, Va. – As Virginia election returns rolled in Tuesday night, Republican campaign manager Daniella Propati quickly realized two things: Her candidate for the House of Delegates, GayDonna Vandergriff, would lose, and calling their opponent a “socialist” hadn’t worked.

North Richmond and the tony suburbs of Henrico County had once been a dependable backstop for the GOP, a place where statewide candidates found votes to offset Arlington and Alexandria. But the suburbs have undergone a metamorphosis in recent years – growing more socially liberal, more diverse, less interested in the red meat of the tea party and Donald Trump.

“Republicans – we’ve been running campaigns in Virginia the same way for 20 years,” Propati said. “We need to come together and say, ‘What do we need to do next time?’ “

That’s a question Republicans around the country are wrestling with after Tuesday’s elections revealed new troubles in suburbs from Memphis to Philadelphia. Nowhere has the problem been more pronounced than in Virginia, where Republicans have been all but wiped from power in the past decade.

A GOP candidate hasn’t won statewide office in Virginia since 2009. On Tuesday, Democrats gained majorities in both houses of the General Assembly for the first time in a generation; the House of Delegates swung from a 66-34 Republican edge in 2017 to a 55-45 Democratic advantage for next year’s session.

In presidential elections, Virginia has moved so swiftly to the left in recent contests that it barely paused to be a swing state.

“This is the nightmare scenario for a lot of people in the Republican Party,” said Ruy Teixeira, a demographer at the liberal Center for American Progress. “Virginia is an example of a possible future for some of the states that are now part of the Republican coalition.”

Virginia now stands as a fearful avatar for Republicans of what the nation’s unrelenting demographic and cultural changes mean for the party, as the moderate-to-liberal urban and suburban areas grow and more conservative rural areas lose ground.Similar shifts are starting to hit such states as North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia and Texas, as minority populations increase and white college-educated voters continue to turn away from the Republican brand.

“It ought to be a concern everywhere,” said former Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., whose northern Virginia district has been swept of GOP power. “These demographic changes are happening everywhere. They are not unique to Virginia.”

No, calling the opponent a socialist when you’ve allowed (helped) to flood the nation with socialists is not a winning strategy. Those cultural and demographic changes are unrelenting, but they were also stoppable. Maybe the GOP should have stop them. Maybe conservative is synonymous with stupid. Better luck last time.

An aside – I just had a conversation about this kind of thing in Georgia. There may yet be time to do something. If so, it’s a short time. And, it will require doing something.

Almost all. They could have added in Fed fiat policy and neocon warmongering. As is, it’s alarming enough.

At the M.O. Campbell Educational Center, where murals honoring the arts and sciences adorn the walls, U.S. immigration officials routinely hold packed naturalization ceremonies. Immigrants approved for citizenship walk in, take the oath of allegiance, and walk out as Americans — and as a small army of new voters.

“It will never, ever be easier to register than it is this morning,” U.S. District Judge Keith P. Ellison, who presided over a ceremony last month, told the 2,155 immigrants from more than 100 countries who had just taken their citizenship oaths. “The record for registrations is 89% of those who are sworn in. … Let’s see if we can break that record today.”

Amish Soni, a 34-year-old radiologist from India holding a small American flag, was one of the 85% who registered to vote that morning, aided by a volunteer from the League of Women Voters. He “definitely” plans to vote in 2020, partly because he thinks the health care system should be fixed, but also: “I’m not a big fan of Donald Trump.” And he’s far from the only one.

At ceremonies like these across the country, hundreds of thousands of immigrants are expected to receive their U.S. citizenship and become eligible to vote before November 2020, gently reshaping — and threatening — the electoral path that President Donald Trump must thread to win reelection.

Over the last two decades, naturalized immigrants have grown into a force at the ballot box, with the United States recently swearing in more than 700,000 foreign-born U.S. citizens each year.

Naturalized citizens — who share the full legal rights of natural-born citizens, except for the ability to become president — cast more than 8% of the ballots in the 2018 midterm elections, almost double their share in the 1996 presidential contest, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates.

Surveys show that many of the new citizens are liberal-leaning, which is one of several demographic trends helping put some historically red states such as Texas, Arizona and Georgia closer to Democrats’ reach.

The gains in immigrants’ electoral strength have been gradual. But Trump’s anti-immigration policies may be accelerating the trend by spurring even more people to naturalize and to vote, worrying some moderate Republican experts.

“It’s not ‘bad-ish’ news. It’s extremely bad,” said Mike Madrid, a Sacramento-based GOP consultant who studies Latino voters. He thinks the party’s use of anti-immigrant rhetoric to mobilize non-college-educated white voters will come at a steep electoral price. “This is a five-alarm fire.”

Lies about magic dirt “Americans” – check. Ingrate NOT-American trying to convert the US into India – check. Women voters continuing the Curse of 19 – check. The specter of Blue State Georgia – check (if not 2020, then done in 2022). A GOP cuck cucking as cuckily as possible – check.

A 100-pound (HOT!) runway model demonstrates more fortitude than every member of the GOP not named Donald Trump.

A crasher stormed the runway at Chanel’s spring 2020 presentation Tuesday morning at the Grand Palais.

Dressed in a black and white tweed outfit topped with a black hat, the spectator climbed onto the set, which was built to look like Paris rooftops, as models took their finale walk.

Show-goers and security were stunned as the crasher made her way to the end of the runway and was confronted by supermodel Gigi Hadid.

Hadid, 24, who was posing as part of the show’s finale in front of the photo pit, appeared to speak to the crasher sternly and then, after placing a hand on her shoulder, escorted her off the runway.

Good conservatives would still be standing there, smoothing their bow ties and talking about a compromise with the crasher.

The Wolf Who Cried Assault Rifle

A fable to make Aesop cringe:

A wolf was elected to Congress and therefore took advantage when and where he could. There was something about a Page, but the people did nothing. There was some legislative projection, but the people did nothing. Sexually explicit texting with more Pages followed. The people, the FBI included, still did nothing. Frustrated, the wolf yelled, “what the hell I gotta do to get caught up in here?!” He then resigned and came out as a homosexual.

Many years later, after a successful stint as a lobster salesman to the LGBTQIAXWTFBBQ+V, P&C community, the wolf decided to come after your guns. Ever treasonous, the GOP was happy to help him. The end.

Mark Foley was not just on your phone screen seven seconds ago so you probably don’t know who he is. Okay, if you’re an underage male Congressional Page, then he might be on your phone. Otherwise, read Anthony Man’s pretty good article from Saturday’s Sun-Sentinel for details.

In fairness, I met Foley at a Florida political function back around 2001-02. It was, I think, a luncheon hosted by the GOP or the Federalist Society, maybe both. The late Rep. Clay Shaw was there too. Other than the usual politi-creepiness – which would eventually drive me out of the Fed-Soc and all political gatherings – I detected nothing out of the ordinary about Foley (or Clay). If memory serves, they both bordered on being kind of nice, normal. I would not have then suspected Foley was a gun grabber. According to the Sentinel piece, he is.
