Seven of them, which cast doubt on the continuing climate hoax.

This article on Grist (h/t to James Taylor, The Heartland Institute) tries to point out how “terrible” the last decade was due to “climate change”. They write:

As this hottest-on-record, godforsaken decade draws to a close, it’s clear that global warming is no longer a problem for future generations but one that’s already displacing communities, costing billions, and driving mass extinctions. And it’s worth asking: Where did the past 10 years get us?

The seven charts below begin to hint at an answer to that question. Some of the changes they document, like the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the number of billion dollar disasters that occur each year, illustrate how little we did to reduce emissions and how unprepared the world is to deal with the warming we’ve already locked in.

From the original article, it looks like the hoaxer’s solution to this non-existent problem is “climate legislation.” Even these fools don’t suppose the weather reacts to positive law; it’s about separating you from your money and freedom if any. On that note, by the cartoon poster at the end of Watts’s list, it appears that even he is confused about what makes for a good decade. At least he’s not looking for more legislation.

For the sake of the planet. We’re in for a major ice age global warming climate change communism Greta shaming ice age, now that the sun is going dormant.

Sunspot activity on the surface of the Sun follows a well-known but little understood 11 year cycle. Activity rises and falls creating the so-called solar maximum and then solar minimum. During a solar maximum, the Sun is more powerful and is littered with sunspots.

Conversely when the Sun enters a solar minimum – which it did about two years ago – energy from our host star begins to lessen.

However, one expert has warned that the Sun will enter a period of “hibernation” this year, in what as known as a Grand Solar Minimum (GSM).

Prof Valentina Zharkova, from the department of mathematics, physics and electrical engineering at Northumbria University, warned this could cause global temperatures to drop by one degrees Celsius.

Next, they’ll tell us the sun is in hibernation due to climate privilege or something – something that can only be cured by world communism. You stole my sun-hood!

The communists global warmongers climate scientists know what is best! And that is fewer humans.

Now, four decades later, a larger group of scientists is sounding another, much more urgent alarm. More than 11,000 experts from around the world are calling for a critical addition to the main strategy of dumping fossil fuels for renewable energy: there needs to be far fewer humans on the planet.

“We declare, with more than 11,000 scientist signatories from around the world, clearly and unequivocally that planet Earth is facing a climate emergency,” the scientists wrote in a stark warning published Tuesday in the journal BioScience.

While warnings about the consequences of unchecked climate change have become so commonplace as to inure the average news consumer, this latest communique is exceptionally significant given the data that accompanies it.

When absorbed in sequence, the charts lay out a devastating trend for planetary health. From meat consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and ice loss to sea-level rise and extreme weather events, they lay out a grim portrait of 40 years of squandered opportunities.

The scientists make specific calls for policymakers to quickly implement systemic change to energy, food, and economic policies. But they go one step further, into the politically fraught territory of population control. It “must be stabilized—and, ideally, gradually reduced—within a framework that ensures social integrity,” they write.

Hey, great! I know of 11,000 people we could start with.

The global warming is so out of control that ski resorts are open in the Summer.

On summer’s opening day, up to 20 inches of snow buried the high terrain of the Colorado Rockies, boosting the state’s snowpack to extraordinary levels for the time of year.

The solstice flakes marked a continuation of a snowy stretch that began in January and February and lingered through spring. Even before the solstice snow, The Denver Post wrote, the state’s snowpack was “in virtually every numerical sense . . . off the charts.” At the time, the snowpack was 751 percent above normal.

Due to the new snow Friday into the weekend, the Natural Resources Conservation Service reported that the state’s snowpack ballooned to 4,121 percent above normal as of Monday. This number is so high because ordinarily very little snow is left by late June, and cold temperatures late into the spring helped preserve what fell earlier.

The climate crazies will spin this as catastrophic change. “Acccctually, the polar bears are relocating to Colorado as a result…”

So much for another climate change hoax:

Glacier National Park quietly removed a visitor center sign saying its iconic glaciers will disappear by 2020 due to climate change.

Several winters of heavy snowfall threw off climate model projections the glaciers would all disappear by 2020, according to federal officials.

A blogger first noticed the signage change and noted other signs warning of “impending glacier disappearance have been replaced.”

The National Park Service (NPS) quietly removed a visitor center sign saying the glaciers at Glacier National Park would disappear by 2020 due to climate change.

As it turns out, higher-than-average snowfall in recent years upended computer model projections from the early 2000s that NPS based its claim glaciers “will all be gone by the year 2020,” federal officials said.

Now, it’s 2030, or 2080, or 8020, or never.

Is there any serious double about how the following would go?

Here’s a hypothetical: a telescope detects an asteroid between 100 and 300 meters in diameter racing through our solar system at 14 kilometers per second, 57 million kilometers from Earth.

Astronomers estimate a one percent risk the space rock will collide with our planet on April 27, 2027. What should we do?

They’d blame you, break out the super aerosol can and raise taxes. Oops, they kind of hint at that last bit already:

The United Nations Security Council would likely be convened, but it’s an open question as to whether rich countries would finance an operation if they themselves weren’t in the sights of 2000SG344 or another celestial rock.

They would certainly take the “refugees.”

Some climate hoaxers are further off the deep end than others. Way, way out there, is this guy:

AN Oxford University professor has claimed aliens are already breeding with humans to create a new hybrid species that will save the planet.

Dr Young-hae Chi, an instructor in Korean at Oxford’s Oriental Institute, part of the prestigious university, thinks this new species will save Earth from annihilation from climate change.

Dr Chi first said the hybrids may already exist in a lecture in 2012 but has now written a book on the subject.

He believes there is a strong correlation between climate change and alien abductions, the Oxford Student newspaper has reported.

His book, written in Korean, is called Alien Visitations and the End of Humanity.

He says he has identified four types of aliens – small, tall and bold, scaly with snake eyes, and insect-like.

Dr Chi believes the insect aliens may be in charge and give orders to the other types.

Insects from outer space – not a 1950s B movie… Maybe someone should warn this professor (is Oxford still a University?!) about the giant aerosol cans in the sky, they might be bug spray.

I was wondering why I suddenly read so many hysterical fake news bits about global whale melting. Here’s one from some nut at CNN, wherein he admits the climate crazies don’t understand the calendar or math and are just plain stupid and expect that everyone else is too. He’s also with the “okay, now aerosols are cool” thing. I really don’t get that one. The ozone and all. Yikes!

But the scale of the outrage in no way matches the magnitude of this disaster, which, like WWII, threatens to cripple or even obliterate human life on the planet as we know it.

We’ve known the truth about climate change — that people are burning fossil fuels and warming the atmosphere, with potentially catastrophic consequences — for decades now. James Hansen testified about the dangers of global warming when he was an NASA scientist in 1988. The New York Times headline: “Global Warming Has Begun, Expert Tells Senate.”

Since then, the eco-woke among us have created more than enough deadlines to try to force change. In 1990, as George Marshall wrote in his book “Don’t Even Think About It,” the magazine Ecologist published a book called “5,000 Days to Save the Planet.” About 5,000 days later, the Institute for Public Policy Research declared that there were “Ten Years to Save the Planet.” In 2008, he wrote, the New Economics Foundation said it was “100 Months to Save the World.”

As a journalist who’s been covering climate for years, I’ve been part of that deadline trend. In the leadup to the Paris climate talks in 2015, I wrote that there were “100 days to save the world.”

The deadlines aren’t the problem. It’s our failure to heed them.

Yeah, no, dumbass – you are the problem. 5,000 days after 1990 was about 2003. The world was okay. Ten years after that was 2013. The world was okay. 100 months after 2008 was 2017. We’re still here. Assuming he wrote his 2015 scare tactic piece on December 31st, the 100 days was up in early 2016. See a pattern?

Someone get these saps a calculator and a calendar – and be quick! – we only have 100 HOURS!!!! or the mania might end…
