The Evils of Free Trade

Add this to debt, immigration, etc. Read the whole thing, an excellent Biblical breakdown of the lies so many conservatives and libertarians champion.

4.1 Free trade harms family – Unrestricted trade can make you rich, but it also harms the family, because it requires free movement of people, hence family move away from each other. This lowers natural support networks, puts higher pressure on families, and incentivizes having less kids.

4.1.1 Ironically, how much money do people spend on before-school and afterschool care, day-care, babysitting, and other care, because they moved away from family to make money?

4.1.2 How many people do you know, who have worked hard to gain worldly wealth and prestige, would give it all up to have their family back? The Bible teaches us the wisdom of making what we have serve us, and God, not the other way around.

4.2 Free trade encourages a culture that worships money, because everything is a commodity, including people. The problem with this mindset is that your nation becomes willing to sell anything for financial gain, and before you know it, you have very little ability to manufacture anything, homelessness is increasing, other nations own your land, and you stand exposed before the world, with big hoards of wealth, and no way to protect them. Sound familiar?

4.2.1 This also makes people replaceable, because you only see them in economic terms, rather than as fellow countrymen. This is why so many business leaders will move their business overseas, or hire cheaper foreign labour, because their only loyalty is to money. This is not good for a nation.

Matt also correctly notes that this globalist hell on earth is much worse than Communism. That’s why Russia and the nations of Eastern Europe have successfully emerged from the shackles of the USSR and why the USSA has permanently finished off the American nation and people. Boomers in the US didn’t necessarily start this cycle, but they were the last to benefit from it and the last who could have reversed it. They didn’t. You wicked, stupid fucks can laugh all you want to about the mistakes of the Millennials, etc. – it won’t save you. I’ve had more than one Boomer tell me to my face, always with an idiotic chuckle, that they would be dead by the time things got really bad. Oops! Looks like someone miscalculated. Thanks to the destruction of families in the vain chase of material wealth, many Boomers will die alone in “care” homes overseen by third-worlders who hate them. The wages of sin…

The Fraudulent Basis of Free Trade

The Failure of the Free Trade Champions
David Ricardo was not an economist in the modern professional sense. He was a stockbroker, a successful con artist who put Michael Milken and Bernie Madoff to shame, a politician who purchased his seat in the House of Lords with his ill-gotten gains, and a pamphleteer. His works were not written with an aim of better understanding the matter addressed, but were primarily written as extended opinion editorials meant to advocate specific political policies. Moreover, his arguments were so heavily biased toward his preconceived conclusions that Joseph Schumpeter was moved to describe the custom of economists creating hopelessly impractical theories on the basis of heavily biased simplifications as “the Ricardian Vice”.
Besides the Theory of Comparative Advantage, which Ricardo cribbed without attribution from “An Essay on the External Corn Trade”, a work that was published two years earlier by Robert Torrens, Ricardo’s two other theories of historical note are the labor theory of value, which you may recall is the logical foundation of Marxist economics, and a highly peculiar theory of wages and profit that concludes the rate of profit ultimately rests upon the price of corn.
Seriously. I’m not kidding.
In fact, despite its massive influence on economists, politicians and trade policy for the last two centuries, the Theory of Comparative Advantage was never mathematically modeled or put to a serious theoretical test for 134 years. And although it was initially claimed that a comparison of textile and automobile production in the U.S.A. versus the United Kingdom broadly confirmed the Ricardian Model, more stringent tests soon demonstrated that neither the model nor the theory on which it was based had much application to the real world.
In his landmark book, Free Trade Doesn’t Work, Ian Fletcher identified seven specific flaws in Ricardo’s version of comparative advantage, which consist of assumptions that do not necessarily hold in any given trade environment, and in many cases, do not apply at all. These seven dubious assumptions are:
    • Trade is intrinsically sustainable.
    • There are no external costs.
    • Production factors move easily between industries.
    • Trade does not increase income inequality.
    • Capital is not internationally mobile.
    • Short-term efficiency causes long-term growth.
    • Trade does not inhibit foreign productivity.
Of course David Ricardo is not the only economist cited by defenders of free trade. Another common right-wing reference is Henry Hazlitt, the Austrian economist whose Economics In One Lesson, published in 1946, is popular among homeschoolers for its clarity and brevity. Chapter 11 of that work, which is devoted to making the case for free trade, is easily the weakest chapter in the book, as it contains no less than 23 specific errors. Since this article is merely a contribution to an anthology and not a book in its own right, I shall restrict myself to pointing out seven of them.

Conservatives and libertarians have largely based their economic theory and non-ideologies on fallacies. A corn-based economy for corny economics.

We’ll Always Have Frankfurt: Shun Global; Love National

I just saw and read this article: “Frankfurt Becomes First German City Where Natives Are Minority.”

On the surface it’s a scare piece designed to show Muslim immigrants or some other group taking over Christendom. That may be the long-term plan but it’s not quite accurate – yet.

Native Germans have dropped to just below 50% of the population. However, the Turkish immigrants, far and away the most numerous non-European group, comprise only 13% of the total. The majority of the new transplants are from other EU countries. Thus, Frankfurt is still roughly 70% white European. It still looks and feels European, even German.

The globalist scum no doubt want to change that. And the article raises several points about their operations.

Economically, the report shows big disparities between foreigners and Germans, with the income of 49 per cent of people with roots outside Germany falling below the poverty line compared to 23 per cent amongst natives.

In terms of employment rates, 83 per cent of German men and 78 per cent of German women are in work, figures which drop to 73 per cent and 59 per cent amongst men and women with foreign backgrounds, respectively.

The second paragraph is slightly telling but not so much as the first – if you know what to look for. This isn’t about the “refugees” – the globalists don’t want them working. They get welfare from the natives’ taxes so they can concentrate on the jihad and killing the natives who pay them. Thankfully they’re really a small fraction.

Not your father’s Europe. Breitbart / Wiki.

The real story is with the wage disparity between the natives and the newcomers (mostly other Europeans, remember). That’s how the globalist’s free markets work, internationally. Jobs are killed in one area, sending the young and the employable scrabbling wherever they can go to take whatever they can get. It’s either move and work for peanuts or stay at home and starve.

They want to do this with the U.S. too. They’re trying hard. I read somewhere (I’ll credit Vox Day) that if the system is fully implemented in America, 50% of the people under the age of 35 will have to go abroad to find work. And they will work for much less. Debilitating serfdom.

The following is especially telling and alarming:

Weber hailed the rate of single motherhood amongst women of foreign origin, which the report showed was significantly higher than that of native Germans in the city, as “a possible sign that female migrants are emancipating themselves”, and called for more research into the subject.

The more single mothers, the better? Single motherhood is emancipation? From what? Logic, tradition, and civilization itself?

These hellish ghouls want to destroy the various nations and peoples as well as the family unit. They don’t want the world to resemble NYC. They want it their own big plantation – a place where you, me, and the single moms have to turn to either Massa Brussels or Boss Banker for the bare essentials of life.

It’s getting to be time to put these “elites” in their place. Somebody grab a shovel.
