The 2020 Census

demographics, preview

It has some obvious problems, like with reporting. And there are issues not so obvious. Regardless, I’ve roughly drafted the demographic column that I’ve been putting off for a year. Much of it is based on estimates and forecasts, although those follow fairly undeniable trends. It’s going to be thought-provoking or so I hope. Look for it possibly tomorrow, or maybe on Wednesday.

A preview: “This may be the 2020 Presidential Election of headcounts.“

I updated the Ed Page today by adding a link to Ron Unz’s US college enrollment demographic tracker. Now firmly in the age of identity, and with a dwindling supply of real college education options, it’s nice to be able to find a school that looks like you. For those not pursuing higher education, the link still provides another eye-opener in re the demographic collapse of the former America.

Rapidly declining IQs nationwide equate to a distinct lack of advanced skills.

Middle schoolers in U.S. counties where fewer adults have advanced cognitive skills seem less likely to develop advanced skills themselves, according to a paper presented at a Brookings Papers on Economic Activity conference on March 25.

In Advanced cognitive skill deserts in the U.S.: Their likely causes and implications, Caroline M. Hoxby of Stanford University maps county-level data from standardized tests to show which regions have higher percentages of adults and children with advanced skills and which areas have lower percentages.

Voting won’t help. Neither will money. This is demography in relentless action. The time for emergency action was 1985. Welcome to third world Amerika.

There are many to chose from in Wallethub’s 2021 Happiest Cities list.

They also for Best and Worst Places to Families and more.

Yeah, note the metrics they use, be cognizant that these are only larger towns, and then see if you can spot some trends. The grass is sometimes greener and some places – I’ll not name them – are just plain terrible.

Barometer of Despair

Wise experts are finally noticing that abortion, the pill, foreign invasion, financialization, and total societal collapse have serious consequences. Younger American generations are not having children. And, thank God they concluded it like this: shut up, Boomers:

The Brookings Institution has predicted “a large, lasting baby bust” of at least 300,000 fewer children in 2021.

For Laura Lindberg, who tracks reproductive data for the Guttmacher Institute, the decrease in births could be a sign of progress — a marker of women’s equality and freedom of choice.

“So it’s a shift to later in life. In that shift comes more education, more career, more employment. So it’s a reordering of how people engage in adulthood,” Lindberg explained.

Dowell Myers doesn’t disagree — but in the bigger picture, he worries the declining birth rate is also a “barometer of despair.”

Myers said he never expected to be talking about a global declining birth rate during his lifetime.

Asked what changed, he pointed to “the burdens of life.”

“The cost of housing, the cost of education, all these things have become more and more difficult,” Dowell said. “I think the boomers themselves don’t realize how much harder it is for millennials today. And they think, ‘Oh yeah, when we were young we had to live, you know, on very little money, and we made do, and you can do the same.’ That’s the story, right? Well no, it really is a lot harder for young people today. It’s amazing how much harder it is.”

All that – the “equality” and freedom” bullshit especially, plus a shift from a responsible White Christian population to a waring collection of hedonistic tribal heathens, explains much. The plastics and poisons may explain the rest.

Here’s the really interesting part: this is global. They used to insert “MORE (third-world) IMMIGRATION” at the end of these stories. That’s missing unless I just missed it. That change is noteworthy. This entire collapse was planned and the planners have little to no use for any group(s). Is this, as they roughly hint around at, a depopulation agenda? Could it be a genocide? Interesting times.

Young Americans and other Westerners: DO NOT participate in the plan! Get married, stay married, stay healthy, and have as many kids as you can. Homeschool them.

It’s Really the Demographics

If you find you’re small town and county going “bluer” by the election, then, yes, you may notice things like elected officials who behave like idiots at best. All you need to do – ask any Boomer moron – is get them to read the Constitution (or have someone read it to them!) and then they’ll vote Republican and things will magically fix themselves. Or, if you’re intelligent, you might notice that 56% of your population now consists of people who reliably vote Democrat – period, and who are not known for civilization. What did you do to deserve this state of affairs? Well, you rebelled against God in some way(s), in general, and you failed to have children, specifically. Demographics = destiny. And, if you’re angry about malfunctioning street lights, guess what goes next!

Eye of Newt wrote as good a column about the GOP defeat in GA as any Boomercon could. He’s kind of right but just can’t connect the dots. The reason, and there’s one, why the “Demoncrats” swept the dying state of Georgia is patently, painfully obvious. I have thought about addressing that in my next TPC column. I’m still waiting on Trump to finally ACT! While we wait, I may give GA a shot if just to entertain the few TPC readers who don’t embrace the TL;DR, the libertarian, or the gamma. You’ll know it if you see it. I am working (hard) on the next segments in my FP series on surviving the Civil War. Stay tuned.

Carlos Slim’s Blog takes a glowing look at the dissolution of America and the dilution of the United States – now unfolding in the small towns. Read the whole thing and compare the scenario to what’s happened to wherever you live these past 10, 20, 50 years.

As usual, the NYT gets a little ahead of reality at the very end: “There’s no going back.” Don’t be so sure.

Just when one thinks the deviants at the Fed can’t possibly slip any lower, this.

“This is a perverse incentive that says you shouldn’t try to make yourself better,” said Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic, who is leading a virtual conference Thursday intending to focus attention on the problem. “They are not dumb. It’s on us to actually change those incentives so that people understand what the potential is and move forward towards opportunity.”

They literally are dumb, almost as stupid as the idiots at the Fed. This isn’t even an economic or tax policy problem. But, if it is, then what’s the solution? Abolishing taxes? Demographics is destiny, and we’ve fulfilled it to the point of completely collapsing society. Whose benefit is that?

It has to happen. Doug Casey sees it and discusses it intelligently if a little too An-Cap optimistically.

Again, it’s a little too libertarian, but at least Casey subjugates politics and economics to their proper, lower places. He does touch on the keystone of reality: Demographics. It frightens people to speak of, but the things that hold societies together (or break them apart) are race, religion, and IQ. “Trust” factors into all three, as does the societal, cultural facets that come from each and from all three together.

Compatibility: we don’t have it anymore. The odds heavily favor a civil war in the US. A peaceful solution is technically possible, but we are a fractured people who crave the hard way. Interesting times are here and now; this video is a great look into them.
