Hillary Clinton has “Russia, Russia, Russia” on the brain and it’s just not going away. Yes, we now know – thank you, Madam Secretary – that Tulsi Gabbard, like Donald Trump before her, is a Russian plant…

Hillary Clinton said that Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is being groomed by Moscow to run as a third-party spoiler candidate in 2020 to help President Trump win reelection.

The former secretary of state pushed the theory on Campaign HQ podcast hosted by David Plouffe, President Barack Obama’s campaign manager in 2008.

Plouffe and Clinton discussed hurdles the Democratic nominee would face and compared the 2020 race to Clinton’s loss to Trump in 2016. Plouffe asked Clinton about the part third-party candidates, such as Jill Stein of the Green Party, played in 2016, allowing Trump to secure key states.

“They are also going to do third party again,” Clinton, 71, said. “I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said, referring to Gabbard, without mentioning the Hawaii representative by name.

“She is a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.

Jill Stein too… How very sad. Mrs. Clinton has an illness. Maybe she thinks that will help her dark horse her way into 2020. Sad…

But, unlike conservatives, The very lovely Mrs. Gabbard is ready for a fight.

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard fired back this afternoon at Hillary Clinton over comments she made suggesting the Hawaii congresswoman and 2020 candidate is being groomed by the Russians.

Clinton said in a recent interview, of the Russians, “I think they’ve got their eye somebody who’s currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s a favorite of the Russians.”

When asked by NBC News if this was a reference to Gabbard, a Clinton spokesperson responded, “If the nesting doll fits…”

Gabbard responded this afternoon, calling Clinton, “the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long.”

Corruption? What corruption?

If it’s a straight fight between the Hottie and the Hag, my money’s on Surfer Girl!

A take on “show me the coin,” just as “Render to God and Trump” is a play on “Render unto Caesar.” No idea … okay, good idea what’s in Ralph Reed’s upcoming book – blasphemous state worship.

One of Donald Trump’s most prominent Christian supporters will argue in a book due out before the 2020 general election that American evangelicals “have a moral obligation to enthusiastically back” the president.

The book’s author, Faith and Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed, became a loyal foot soldier for Trump immediately after he nabbed the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 — commanding hordes of white evangelical voters from his perch on the candidate’s religious advisory board to trust that the New York businessman would grow the economy, defend religious freedom and dismantle federal protections for abortion, if elected.

The interesting news is that Reed also has some political novels. No word on whether they … Ah, who cares? The people who would vote for Trump for the reasons poorly defined in the Politico story are probably just hoping they die before the cannibalism breaks out. I’ve covered Reed, the nature of Caesar’s coin, etc. before. Not going through all that again.

Putin has it. Psst. Don’t tell anybody…

Absolutely no laughing matter for the likes of Rachel Maddow and others who have now spent years locked deep in their ‘Russiagate’ navel-gazing, but at least Putin still hasn’t lost his sense of humor about it.

While speaking on a panel of industry and political leaders at the Russian Energy Week conference, Putin mocked reports already alleging Moscow plans to interfere in the 2020 US presidential election. When pressed by NBC News correspondent Keir Simmons over whether former Special Counsel Robert Mueller was accurate in predicting Russia would “attempt to interfere” in the 2020 election, Putin leaned forward in a gesture to act like he was whispering a ‘secret’:

“I’m going to tell you a secret,” Putin said, leaning forward.

“Yes, we will definitely intervene, don’t tell anybody” he continued to an applauding crowd.

An unnamed CIA agent, probably a sinecure paper-pusher if he even exists, is at the bottom (or somewhere) of the Ukraine! hoax.

The White House learned that a C.I.A. officer had lodged allegations against President Trump’s dealings with Ukraine even as the officer’s whistle-blower complaint was moving through a process meant to protect him against reprisals, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

The officer first shared information about potential abuse of power and a White House cover-up with the C.I.A.’s top lawyer through an anonymous process, some of the people said. The lawyer shared the officer’s concerns with White House and Justice Department officials, following policy. Around the same time, the officer separately filed the whistle-blower complaint.

I’ve known several CIA agents and other intel types. They generally come in two classes: the field guys who do the dirty work and the office guys who do the really dirty work. As silly and self-serving as this sounds, I’m interviewing Tom Ironsides about this and other matters. He’s already confirmed what others have told me. Maybe it’s time – past time – to abolish the CIA?

At any rate, this impeachment show may throw a curveball into the 2020 election that even I didn’t foresee. It may well be that this crazed process, successful or not, is what hands Trump his victory over Pocahontas. Who’d a thunk it?

Another prediction: the process moves forward; the House impeaches; the Senate acquites; Trump is reelected. Worst-case scenario (for Trump): Impeachment; CONVICTION; resignation; pardon; … reelection with a vengeance. (Yes, that can happen). It’s more likely that the show trial will expose even more dirt on Biden, the Clintons, and the rest, though I expect absolutely no repercussions for them either. In short, nothing will change.

Speaking of nothing… Anyone heard from “Q” lately? I was wondering what the tally for the sealed military indictments is up to now. Can’t recall if the growth was “natural” or geometric. It could be anywhere between 400,000 and 400 Centillion.

And, every day, 2033 inches closer and closer. Tick, tick, tick…

It’s a good thing that the wise leaders of the DNC decided to kill Tulsi Gabbard’s chances for getting the Democratic nomination. In addition to putting the other sad party candidates in their places, the little lady has no problem hitting Trump with the hard truth.

The latest round of Trump tweets threatening military action in response to attacks on Saudi Arabia prompted a fiery response from a Democratic presidential contender.

Replying directly to Trump on Twitter, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) slammed the president for, in her view, seeking marching orders with regard to a potential strike against Iran following the attack on a Saudi oil plant.

“Trump awaits instructions from his Saudi masters,” Gabbard wrote. “Having our country act as Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.’”

Woah! Talk about Ron Paul-ing herself! The DNC mantra is “Trump Bad!,” but only as to things that don’t really exist. The deep state does not like attention called to its real operations. Doesn’t she know the value of false flag hysteria? Next, this nut will be calling for auditing or abolishing the Fed. Crazy. Good job, Hillary! Locked and loaded.

Brilliant! Why didn’t anyone else think to call Trump a “racist” before now?

Axelrod was responding to a tweet by Trump on Saturday in which the president called Cummings’s district a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”

Trump sought to contrast the district, which includes downtown Baltimore, with conditions at the southern border, calling it “FAR WORSE and more dangerous.”

Cummings, the chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee that has conducted probes into the administration, has called the treatment of migrant children at government facilities near the southern border “government-sponsored child abuse.”

Trump got it kind of wrong. It’s not an infestation of rodents that have destroyed Baltimore (and more cities). But, nonetheless, congratulations to Trump on his 2020 electoral victory.

Gary Shilling thinks the US is already in a mild recession. I’ve been saying we hit the first phase of a narrow double-dip a few months ago. The rest is coming.

Gary Shilling, an economist and financial analyst who is credited with predicting several recessions over the past 40 years, thinks the U.S. is in a relatively mild slump.

“I think we’re probably already in a recession but I think it will probably be a run-of-the-mill affair, which means real GDP would decline 1.5% to 2%, not the 3.5% to 4% you had in the very serious recessions,” Shilling, president of economic and financial research firm A. Shilling & Co., said in a recent interview broadcast this week by Real Vision.

Shilling points to:

• Declining industrial production, a result of a weak global economy and the Trump administration’s trade war with China.

• Feeble job growth of 75,000 in May, along with downward revisions to prior months.

• The Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s recession probability chart, which shows about a 30% chance of a downturn the next 12 months, up from about 10% early this year. That data is based on an inversion of the yield curve, which has shown rates on 3-month Treasury bonds topping 10-year notes recently – a sign that investors don’t have much faith in the longer-term outlook. Inversions do herald recessions but often two years in advance.

• The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s leading economic indicators, which has edged down since last year.

• Shilling also cites weak housing data, though he notes falling mortgage rates have bolstered home sales in recent months.

Funny, when one looks at real metrics and tangibles how the story changes from the boom-boom-boom narrative. The DOW and the newsmen salesmen on CNBC are not the final authorities. And, remember, statistically, this is all overdue.

It’s a good start, what the Senator is set to propose: canceling ALL student debt in the United States.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will propose on Monday eliminating all $1.6 trillion of student debt held in the United States, a significant escalation of the policy fight in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary two days before the candidates’ first debate in Miami.

Sanders is proposing that the federal government pay to wipe clean the student debt held by 45 million Americans – including all private and graduate school debt – as part of a package that also would make public universities, community colleges and trade schools tuition-free.

Sanders is proposing to pay for these plans with a tax on Wall Street his campaign says will raise more than $2 trillion over 10 years, though some tax experts give lower revenue estimates.

A few things:

The tax isn’t even necessary.

This, however funded, would be substantially cheaper than the bankster bailout from Too Big To Fail. Unlike that scheme, Sanders’s proposal would benefit the American people.

Before libertardians and “CONservatives” wail about “a deal’s a deal,” kindly consider the original terms of the underlying deals.

And, this is a good start – on the way to repudiating all $74 Trillion in existing total US debt. There’s a very simple way to do it – and to “pay it all off” – within the scope of existing law. After that’s accomplished, new debt should be illegal, in the current mode of many jurisdictions’ misdemeanor drug possession laws: catch an individual with debt, seize the promissory note and any remaining funds – for destruction; catch someone manufacturing debt, felony and hard jail time.

It will be interesting to if this gets traction.
