≈ Comments Off on A Lesson in Deciphering MSM BS
Tags
The BS headline: JOURNALIST Lara Logan has been banned from Newsmax after peddling a series of baseless conspiracy theories.
Read the entire disingenuous, idiotic pile of lies.
The whole sack of crap may be summed up as: Lara Logan = baseless conspiracy theories.
Translation: Lara Logan is telling the truth.
Vox was right; do not trust Newsmax. Certainly do not trust the sub-tabloid SUN. And, whenever you see “baseless conspiracy theory,” a telltale slogan of deceit, know that the outlet is lying and covering up something, and that the subject (here, Logan) is correct about whatever that something is. In short, it is generally safe to assume the truth is the polar opposite of the standard CIA MSM narrative.
Good on Lara Logan.

≈ Comments Off on The Prescription Drug Shortage Begins
This was predicted, with people like me advising those who rely of drugs to stock up in advance of the fall. Fall is here and the shortage has arrived on schedule. By the way, I was generally met with indifference or hostility regarding my advice. Nevertheless, here we go.
A national shortage of Adderall has left patients who rely on the pills for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder scrambling to find alternative treatments and uncertain whether they will be able to refill their medication.
Adderall is used by evil school officials to turn young people, mostly boys, into sluggish drones. It serves very few legitimate purposes. Thus, scarcity is ultimately a good thing, if it leads some users to abandon the dope. The bad news is the side effects, which can and do affect the users and those around them – sometimes in very negative ways. Imagine a nation with millions of people addicted to psychotropic dope who are suddenly unable to get the fix. This has the potential to get ugly.

When, if ever, will the people of France and Europe tire of stories like this one.
French police has four Algerians in custody suspected of participating in the brutal murder and rape of a 12-year-old schoolgirl only identified as Lola. The suspects (Dahbia B., Amine K., Friha B., and Rachid N.) all hail from the same Algerian village, and one of them may be in the country illegally.
The body was found in a suitcase curled up, shackled, with a deep wound in her throat, and marked with inscriptions. According to the autopsy, carried out on Saturday, her death was due to asphyxiation. One of the suspects in the case have been charged with “murder of a minor under the age of 15 in connection with a rape committed with acts of torture and barbarism,” “rape of a minor under the age of 15 with acts of torture and barbarism,” and “concealment of a corpse.” Although there was no mention of sexual violence when the story first broke, the latest details from BMFTV allege the girl was also raped.
Barbarism, once again, from the blessings of DIEversity, tolerance, and ethnic suicide.

Thank random evolution we can TRUST SCIENCE! Like these scientists at BU, using !SCIENCE! to make the world a better place. Or to make COVID more deadly.
Boston University scientists were today condemned for ‘playing with fire’ after it emerged they had created a lethal new Covid strain in a laboratory.
DailyMail.com revealed the team had made a hybrid virus — combining Omicron and the original Wuhan strain — that killed 80 per cent of mice in a study.
The revelation exposes how dangerous virus manipulation research continues to go on even in the US, despite fears similar practices may have started the pandemic.
Playing with spike proteins is playing with fire. This is exactly how the original bioweapon was built in other (US-controlled) labs. I mean exactly; if one has access to the chemical procedures used in Boston, I imagine they are the same as the recipe listed in the still-ignored Fauci emails, the same tactics the DARPA whistleblower warned the DOD IG about. At least the admission that the “pandemic” came from evil men and not innocent bats is beginning to creep into the mainstream.

≈ Comments Off on Seldom Read a Book
Alexander Zubatov offers a very good essay on the decline of US colleges and universities. Find it at The American Conservative.
Why is American higher education such an abject failure? Our system of higher education simultaneously and confusingly aims at two entirely distinct goals—and, as such, is discharging neither of them especially well. It is, on the one hand, supposed to prepare us for the labor market by arming us with practical skills, and on the other hand, supposed to turn us into Renaissance men and women, who have a deeper understanding of our world. But the most popular major in college today is “business”—a nonsense major that neither educates anyone in the broad sense nor prepares them for anything in particular in the narrow sense of the workaday world. Christopher Lasch observed that most college students “get little training in writing (unless ‘Commercial English’ is an acceptable substitute), seldom read a book, and graduate without exposure to history, philosophy, or literature.”
Read the whole thing. Note that the T.S. Eliot quote came from a work from the era immediately after World War II and was not limited to “higher” education, at least as it exists today. It was bad then. It’s worse now.
Also, he’s 100% correct – “business” is a nonsense major almost completely devoid of education. And what a shame to wait until college to become acquainted with (or not) history, philosophy, and literature. It’s not an accident that those three subjects, and many others, have been erased from nearly all levels of modern/post-modern education.

≈ Comments Off on All Quiet, And Then…
It’s almost all quiet on the Werewestern front. If one looks at the Sludge Report (don’t), one will notice a sudden and total lack of any headlines, even of the idiotic, hysterical sort, about Russia and mighty Ukraine. Odd.
It appears that Russia is preparing to ramp things up, considerably.
So much so, that Russia’s allies are now evacuating their diplomatic staffs from the 404. Something is coming. The $64 billion question is whether whatever it is will be limited to Ukraine.

≈ Comments Off on Rent Too Damn High
Is there any part of post-modern life that cannot be improved by computers?! Meet the new AI landlord.
On a summer day last year, a group of real estate tech executives gathered at a conference hall in Nashville to boast about one of their company’s signature products: software that uses a mysterious algorithm to help landlords push the highest possible rents on tenants.
“Never before have we seen these numbers,” said Jay Parsons, a vice president of RealPage, as conventiongoers wandered by. Apartment rents had recently shot up by as much as 14.5%, he said in a video touting the company’s services. Turning to his colleague, Parsons asked: What role had the software played?
I’m sure there’s absolutely no danger of price collusion or anything. And, at a time when Americans are simply swimming in cash, why not?
As the price of everything soars due to the terminal effects of an economy based on usury and black magic, it would be nice if there was a similar program aimed at increasing wages. Gold-Silver-1952 Housing-PayStar! Maybe just PayStar. Right now, the minimum anyone should be paid anywhere in the US is about $75,000, or $37.50 per hour. The average should be closer to $300K. But something tells me that someone would find collusion in doing that.

≈ Comments Off on Time Is Running Out
This is a kind of update to my week’s column. Russia, “they” said, was all out of missiles. The barrage of missiles last week only proved that Russia was out of missiles, they said. Now?
Needless to say, that massive missile strikes by Russia continue all over 404 and there are reports of massive explosions and power outages in Nikolaev and other places, plus Kiev remains to be targeted. And, as was expected, all VSU attempts to perform “offensives” have been repelled with massive losses for VSU, including at Kremennaya and Svatovo (in Russian), but NATO–let’s drop the pretense here–will try to throw as much cannon fodder at Russian formations as possible because they need something, like “breakthrough” in some sectors, because the Midterms are coming and Russians are amassing troops for obvious things. Time is running out.
I suppose they will now say this means Russia is REALLY out of missiles. The usual suspects are desperate, crazy, and evil. And their time really is running out.
Winter is going to be many things, but boring isn’t one of them.

The Donald has grabbed hold of the thirdest of rails.
‘No President has done more for Israel than I have. Somewhat surprisingly, however, our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S,’ Trump said on his Truth Social app.
‘Those living in Israel, though, are a different story – Highest approval rating in the World, could easily be P.M.!’
Trump concluded: ‘U.S. Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel – Before it is too late!‘
I imagine this received a warm reception from those who have spent the past six years arguing Trump is a literal clone of Hitler. Note that one thing US Jews do not have in Israel is themselves.
