Please read THIS, should you care and in between divisional games, of course. Excellent review of the non-case.
In the US and probably throughout Europe, politicians and feminists, with the exception of Katrin Axelsson and Lisa Longstaff, used the presstitute media to paint Assange as a rapist and as a spy. The feminists cared nothing about any truth; they just wanted a man to demonize. Truth was the last thing on politicians’ minds. They just wanted to divert attention from Washington’s crimes and betrayals of allies by portraying Assange as a threat and traitor to America. They were unconcerned that Assange could not be a traitor to America as he is not an American citizen. In actual fact, there is no basis in law for any US claim against Assange. Yet because of Washington and its servile British puppet state, Assange remains interred in the Embassy of Ecuador in London. Clearly, honor and respect for law reside in Ecuador, not in the US, UK, or Sweden.
But facts, along with law and civil liberty, have ceased to mean anything in the Western world. The corrupt US Attorney General Jeff Sessions said that the arrest of Assange is a “priority.” The British police, mere lackeys of Washington, said that they would still arrest Assange, despite the case being dropped, if he left the embassy.
For the British, serving Washington is a higher calling than the honor of their country.
The interesting fact is not that Assange has committed no crime (anywhere) but is held nonetheless hostage by real criminals; the crazy thing here is how little the people know or care. And, sadly, none of this is surprising.
Happy Sunday!

≈ Comments Off on Small Victories: For Drones and for Julian Assange
Drones and Assange kind of go together in a sad way as one must sometimes fearfully look over his shoulder for the other. Tonight there’s some good news for both.
Have a drone? Kids have a drone? So many people have drones as toys, real estate cams, or hottie-next-door spying tools it isn’t funny? I bet you have one or know someone who does, right? Did you register it with the FAA when you bought it? No. Then you’re a criminal. Or you were.
A federal court just struck down the FAA’s idiotic 2015 reg that recreational drones must be registered. Justice for you and your voyeurism toy…
The Empire, bluster aside, has made no known moves to prosecute Assange for anything – likely because he did not break any laws. Likewise, Swedish prosecutors have dropped their fake rape case against him. And, Ecuador is pressing the UK to grant Assange safe passage out of their embassy in London.
As if that’s not good enough news for old J.A., he is now the subject of interest of both Pam Anderson AND Lady Gaga. Some guys…

I need to hang out in the Ecuadorian embassy some.
A whole lot more is happening but it will have to wait….

Dr. Paul isn’t exactly Pamela Anderson but Assange seemed happy with the meeting.
Having blasted the Trump administration for their hyprocritical flip-flop from “loving WikiLeaks” to “arrest Assange,” Ron Paul made his feelings very clear on what this signals: “If we allow this president to declare war on those who tell the truth, we have only ourselves to blame.” Today he sits down with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for a live interview…
“The CIA has been deeply humiliated as a result of our ongoing publications so this is a preemptive move by the CIA to try and discredit our publications and create a new category for Wikileaks and other national security reporters to strip them of First Amendment protections,”

≈ Comments Off on Department of Justice [SIC] to Charge Julian Assange … with Something

The U.S. government is known by two hallmarks: absolute power over everything on Earth, and; a complete aversion to the truth. Naturally, it wants to prosecute Julian Assange of Wikileaks.
US authorities have prepared charges to seek the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, US officials familiar with the matter tell CNN.
The Justice Department investigation of Assange and WikiLeaks dates to at least 2010, when the site first gained wide attention for posting thousands of files stolen by the former US Army intelligence analyst now known as Chelsea Manning.
Prosecutors have struggled with whether the First Amendment precluded the prosecution of Assange, but now believe they have found a way to move forward.
During President Barack Obama’s administration, Attorney General Eric Holder and officials at the Justice Department determined it would be difficult to bring charges against Assange because WikiLeaks wasn’t alone in publishing documents stolen by Manning. Several newspapers, including The New York Times, did as well. The investigation continued, but any possible charges were put on hold, according to US officials involved in the process then.
…
But Ben Wizner, director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, argued that US prosecution of Assange sets a dangerous precedent.
“Never in the history of this country has a publisher been prosecuted for presenting truthful information to the public,” Wizner told CNN. “Any prosecution of WikiLeaks for publishing government secrets would set a dangerous precedent that the Trump administration would surely use to target other news organizations.”

CNN.
There’s a pattern, here, as old as government corruption itself: government commits evil; someone exposes the evil; the evil-doers visit upon the exposing party.
A great opportunity for the advancement of human freedom is missed. Washington could acknowledge it’s many faults, as exposed by Wikileaks, and vow to fix them. It could stop spying on everyone, wasting money, bombing without cause, and generally mind its own damned business. They might actually thank Assange and Co. for their work.
That’s not going to happen. Dangerous precedents from dangerous people.

≈ Comments Off on It’s Not That Bad Being Julian Assange
The Wikileaker-in-Chief has a groupie.
“Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson has gone from slow motion runs on the beach to mysterious late night visits to the embassy where WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is holed up.
Anderson was most recently spotted entering the Ecuadorian safe space in London Thursday night wearing a camel overcoat, snug black top — and either a really short skirt, or no pants at all.
Anderson, 49, is a regular at the facility, coyly smiling for photographers as she struts inside to see Assange, 45, whose rogue outfit has dumped some of the US government’s most closely guarded secrets.
She refused to deny the dating rumors — saying he intellectually stimulates her more than all her “ex-husbands and lovers combined.”
“I think he’s quite sexy,” she wrote in a blog post on Thursday. “He has tremendous strength and stamina — though vulnerable. Hard to imagine him that way — as capable as he is. But, he is up against the biggest super powers in the world.”

NY Post.
I could handle a mysterious late night visit from Pam. Truth to power is dangerous. Seems it has a few perks too.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is preparing to release previously sealed FBI information on Hillary Clinton. He says his organization may start “teasing” the public as early as next week. It’s possible that Assange may have even more data than the FBI turned over to Congress recently.
If the tease comes, one can only hope the American people are receptive. Instructions are going around Congress to keep the information quiet until after the November election. Nancy Pelosi has essentially given marching orders to Paul Ryan. Ryan, armed with the steel of a jellyfish, will certainly comply. The media can’t really be trusted either.
This only leaves people like Assange, Edward Snowden and Brad..Chelsea(?) Manning to deliver critical information to the people. It’s really amazing at the corruption which has been revealed over the past few years and the lack of a reaction from most citizens. This is worse than horses running back into the burning barn. This is like the horses returning while bearing gasoline.
And the fires get worse every day. The Obama administration recently paid $400 Million to Iran as part of an international court settlement. There was a distinct ransom angle too but at least there was a valid reason for the payment. And, theoretically, the money belonged to Iran in the first place. That $400M was supposed to be the first installment towards the $1.7 Billion settlement.
Then we discovered that the U.S. paid Iran not $1.7B but $11.9 Billion. In addition to the settlement funds, this payoff was also authorized under the atomic energy non-treaty reached by the Administration.
Now, it seems that $11.9 Billion was really $33.6 Billion! And the government honestly doesn’t know how much they’ve paid Iran. That’s startling but not unexpected. This is the same government that just acknowledged losing track of $6.5 Trillion!
Where in the world does that money come from? And where does it go? $6.5 Trillion is one and a half’s years worth of federal budget. It’s unbelievable or would be if we were dealing with any group but Washington.
When will the people finally wake up? This country is being destroyed by a band of idiots and criminals. It’s slightly more important than Pokemon, football, and who goes in which restroom. God willing, Assange’s tease will get some traction.
Wake up!
