For several years, as part of my annual Masters Tournament coverage, I’ve dropped snide remarks about Darius Rucker ruining Rock Fore! Dough. In fairness to me, it really has become the Darius Rucker (and friends) Show. I recall, fondly, Cheap Trick’s dynamite delivery back in 2007. Remember waaaay back then?

But, I have to now admit that Rucker is a fine fit with the finest of festivities. Attention, RFD people: just add a little R-n-R variety if possible. Rucker and the Blowfish are pretty damned good. That I gathered from last night’s (non-RFD) concert, which also featured Sheryl Crow. It was a REM cover that convinced me. Not too bad. Rock on.

That’s “persecution,” not “prosecution.” And, once more in the MSM, Tucker C. is about the only one being honest:

LRC has been full of insightful articles these past few days about the Assange show trials and railroading. Read a few of them – archive your way back as necessary.

My brief take on the “legal” proceedings and issues against Mr. Assange:

  • The original Swedish sex allegations are bogus. The raise them, then drop them, as politically expedient, tactics prove that, notwithstanding the lack of evidence.
  • The UK’s bail-jumping charges (and conviction) are bogus. These were based partly on the fake Swedish charges and partly on speculation about what Washington wanted (i.e. sealed indictment). Julian has real defenses against both and legitimate reasons for his 7-year absconding. Were he a “refugee” from Somewhereistan, charged with acid-dousing some pensioner or slave-chaining a poorer white girl, he would already be free (and likely on the dole). UPDATE: It might help if the old boy was a girl instead.
  • The United States Empire’s charges are remarkably light considering how hated the man is and the damage he did to the evil house narrative. When was the last time Washington told the truth about anything? Even with that firm “never,” in mind it is theoretically possible that a foreigner, physically outside the Empire, could have engaged in the alleged conspiratorial behavior. One could access or direct access to a computer network for the purposes of obtaining data, sufficient to justify both jurisdiction and process. However, this requires a little thing called evidence. I suspect there is, nor was, nor will be any of that. Bogus, nakedly biased charges.

The bell-ringers, all of them in this matter, are right – you or I could easily be next. This is a case to watch and without much hope.

Ariana Grande’s Brain Highlights Physical Nature of Mental Illness

More celebrities should have their heads examined.

In an interview with British Vogue in June last year, Ariana said her PTSD is “a real thing”.

It’s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss … I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of [PTSD] as well. I feel like I shouldn’t even be talking about my own experience – like I shouldn’t even say anything. I don’t think I’ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.

On Thursday, she shared a screenshot to her Instagram storyshowing a scan of her brain, which appears to show a number of areas affected by PTSD.

Many, if not most, “mental” health issues have a physical root cause in the brain structure. All the talk and all the suicide-inducing dope in the world will not begin to address it.

Screenshot 2019-04-12 at 2.53.09 PM

The place to start is with a neurologist. Have a brain scan. Then, several treatments show great promise for many cases. There’s the newer wonder of Transcranial Magnetic Therapy and the good old help of lithium.

It’s all in the head the same way a broken bone is all in the arm.

I’ve never listened to anything this young woman has said or sang but I do wish her the best with this.

Pope Benedict XVI Calls Out The Snakes of the Church and Culture

The NY Post is a little mystified by the declarations: “Benedict’s ‘The Church and the Scandal of Sexual Abuse’ has the unmistakable ring of a papal document.” It does, does it not? I think I’m with Ann Barnhardt on this one.

The Pope contradicts Bergoglio. Funny, that.

Vatican City, Apr 10, 2019 / 04:23 pm (CNA).- The following is a previously unpublished essay from Pope emeritus Benedict XVI:

On February 21 to 24, at the invitation of Pope Francis, the presidents of the world’s bishops’ conferences gathered at the Vatican to discuss the current crisis of the faith and of the Church; a crisis experienced throughout the world after shocking revelations of clerical abuse perpetrated against minors.

The extent and gravity of the reported incidents has deeply distressed priests as well as laity, and has caused more than a few to call into question the very Faith of the Church. It was necessary to send out a strong message, and seek out a new beginning, so to make the Church again truly credible as a light among peoples and as a force in service against the powers of destruction.

Since I myself had served in a position of responsibility as shepherd of the Church at the time of the public outbreak of the crisis, and during the run-up to it, I had to ask myself – even though, as emeritus, I am no longer directly responsible – what I could contribute to a new beginning.

Thus, after the meeting of the presidents of the bishops’ conferences was announced, I compiled some notes by which I might contribute one or two remarks to assist in this difficult hour.

Having contacted the Secretary of State, Cardinal [Pietro] Parolin and the Holy Father [Pope Francis] himself, it seemed appropriate to publish this text in the Klerusblatt [ a monthly periodical for clergy in mostly Bavarian dioceses].

My work is divided into three parts.

In the first part, I aim to present briefly the wider social context of the question, without which the problem cannot be understood. I try to show that in the 1960s an egregious event occurred, on a scale unprecedented in history. It could be said that in the 20 years from 1960 to 1980, the previously normative standards regarding sexuality collapsed entirely, and a new normalcy arose that has by now been the subject of laborious attempts at disruption.

In the second part, I aim to point out the effects of this situation on the formation of priests and on the lives of priests.

Finally, in the third part, I would like to develop some perspectives for a proper response on the part of the Church.

I.

(1) The matter begins with the state-prescribed and supported introduction of children and youths into the nature of sexuality. In Germany, the then-Minister of Health, Ms. (Käte) Strobel, had a film made in which everything that had previously not been allowed to be shown publicly, including sexual intercourse, was now shown for the purpose of education. What at first was only intended for the sexual education of young people consequently was widely accepted as a feasible option.

Similar effects were achieved by the “Sexkoffer” published by the Austrian government [A controversial ‘suitcase’ of sex education materials used in Austrian schools in the late 1980s]. Sexual and pornographic movies then became a common occurrence, to the point that they were screened at newsreel theaters [Bahnhofskinos]. I still remember seeing, as I was walking through the city of Regensburg one day, crowds of people lining up in front of a large cinema, something we had previously only seen in times of war, when some special allocation was to be hoped for. I also remember arriving in the city on Good Friday in the year 1970 and seeing all the billboards plastered up with a large poster of two completely naked people in a close embrace.

Among the freedoms that the Revolution of 1968 sought to fight for was this all-out sexual freedom, one which no longer conceded any norms.

The mental collapse was also linked to a propensity for violence. That is why sex films were no longer allowed on airplanes because violence would break out among the small community of passengers. And since the clothing of that time equally provoked aggression, school principals also made attempts at introducing school uniforms with a view to facilitating a climate of learning.

Part of the physiognomy of the Revolution of ‘68 was that pedophilia was then also diagnosed as allowed and appropriate. …

THE THE WHOLE 6,000-WORD LETTER (ENG)

ORIGINAL (auf Deutsch)

“Today’s Church is more than ever a “Church of the Martyrs” and thus a witness to the living God. If we look around and listen with an attentive heart, we can find witnesses everywhere today, especially among ordinary people, but also in the high ranks of the Church, who stand up for God with their life and suffering. It is an inertia of the heart that leads us to not wish to recognize them. One of the great and essential tasks of our evangelization is, as far as we can, to establish habitats of Faith and, above all, to find and recognize them.”

Much went wrong, for the Church and for the West, in the 1960s. Time to fix it.

VD and OB brought this to our attention. Thank you. Look up any word you like, especially those that have been recently redefined to fit the narrative of our enemies.

American

AMER’ICAN, adjective Pertaining to America.

AMER’ICAN, noun A native of America; originally applied to the aboriginals, or copper-colored races, found here by the Europeans; but now applied to the descendants of Europeans born in America.

The name American must always exalt the pride of patriotism. – Washington

It was a nation of a people, not of a nebulous “proposition.” This dictionary definition fits precisely with those of the Declaration, the Constitution, early Republican law, and with the general, common understanding of the term at the time of the Revolution and the Founding. Why change it now?

Why Would Anyone Want a New Car?

Or, more accurately, a spy computer on wheels.

If you’re driving a late model car or truck, chances are that the vehicle is mostly computers on wheels, collecting and wirelessly transmitting vast quantities of data to the car manufacturer not just on vehicle performance but personal information, too, such as your weight, the restaurants you visit, your music tastes and places you go.

A car can generate about 25 gigabytes of data every hour and as much as 4,000 gigabytes a day, according to some estimates. The data trove in the hands of car makers could be worth as much as $750 billion by 2030, the consulting firm McKinsey has estimated. But consumer groups, aftermarket repair shops and privacy advocates say the data belongs to the car’s owners and the information should be subject to data privacy laws.

And, Congress fails to act for the people. Surprise, surprise.

It has been some time but I have covered this topic before. That was over four years ago. Things have changed; it’s worse now.  The alternatives are slim. One can get a used car as an end-around. But, one has to go back 20 years or so for a guarantee. Why do you think they did cash for clunkers?

Another possibility is for someone in tech to design a blocker or a patch that masks the car’s multiple computers. This is probably illegal. Congress, never quick to act for us, has acted for “them;” the car companies have proprietary software. You either take it to their dealership or to an independent who pays a fee for access. And, the way these things work, masking or shutting off the CPU may well totally disable the car.

We’ve been backed into a corner for a reason – total control. They will soon try to mandate automated bot cars that you can’t control and which log your every move. Goodbye, last shreds of freedom.

The only other possibility I can think of is a reverse EM shield that stops outward wireless transmissions. They’ll probably make that illegal too.

Drive on.

The Ilhan Omar Saga Continues

And the little lady (D-Somalia) gets more interesting each month. Her latest cause horreur:

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) trivialized the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history in a recent speech she gave at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization.

…

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.

Omar was met by hundreds of protesters when she attended the March event in Los Angeles, who expressed strong disapproval of her use of anti-Semitic tropes and promotion of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Omar responded to the “very interesting” pro-Israel demonstrators by saying: “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”

Well, there is some odd, maybe uncomfortable truth to her words. The one terror group’s activity did spawn another terror organization. And “all of us,” thank you W., did lose some access to some liberties. (How’s that commercial aviation treating y’all these days?)

Forget, for a second, straightforward questions about why we ever needed the presence of any groups like al-CIA-da’s flight school or CAIR Package, Inc. or anything else from the post-1965 era. Let’s continue.

Hart, Celler, and the Masshole Drunk Killer promised us “no changes.” Then the changes came, loud, proud, and massive. Now, we have so many (too many) identity groups competing for whatever remains. Their occasional interactions can be funny. Again, what works so well against the Woodstock Boomers, has no effect whatsoever on the newly arrived. They truly “could care less about” what’s said in re our greatest ally,” “6,000,000,” or any other rhetoric.

Okay, Posterity, back to the hard questions. I’ll start: “Is this whole thing a little too far gone at this point?” Your turn.

UPDATE (post scheduling, pre-publication): Soon after keying this one in, I had the fortune to meet another higher-IQ’d gent, a fellow author of Indian lineage. We struck up a conversation about Ilhen. This man was an exuberant civic nationalist, he (I gather) being his own very good example. We agreed to disagree on a few things but had a very good conversation. One thing we could agree on was that if one can’t leave, say Somalia, behind, then one should get the hell out.

Astronomers did NOT just capture the first pictures of a black hole. What is it with “science” and LIES.

Astronomers have captured the first image of a black hole, heralding a revolution in our understanding of the universe’s most enigmatic objects.

The picture shows a halo of dust and gas, tracing the outline of a colossal black hole, at the heart of the Messier 87 galaxy, 55m light years from Earth.

This simply is not true. I for one, years ago, took several pictures of Washington, DC. I even put one on a book cover.

Casting the Widest Net, Real National Affairs for the People

Our topics of discussion, in this here column, of late, have been just a little heavy. For that, I do not apologize. Regardless of their ardent unpopularity among the general population, I kind of like freedom and truth. Matters of geopolitics, religion, economics, Satanic globalism, cultural decay, academic collapse, terrorism, war, and the very survival of Western Civilization are all worthy of intelligent consideration. And, if the approach is, or has to be, a little zealous, then so be it.

I recall Barry Goldwater’s eternal words of vitriolic courage, “…that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice!”

But … not today. Today, in order to honor the real people out there (the “peeps,” as they call themselves) I cast forth the wide net, the drag net. Dredging the very bottom as it were. I owe my inspiration to a heart-warming family social media story I almost read last week. My drive I owe to a gaggle of teenage girls who, yesterday, forced me at gunpoint into a large, cool, hip, and very trendy Amerikan mall. It was, for them, a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, excused from schooling. For me, it was a fine, educational vacation day.

“Mauled at the mall,” I might normally call it. But, this time, I undertook a deep exploration of the culture on its home turf. Like a visitor from another planet, I stumbled about, awe-struck by the … um … the spectacle.

‘The UK has No Stability!’ – Julian Assange Arrested

Julian Assange

Maybe it’s just a visa matter but I think we all know where this is going…

From The Sun:

As he was pulled out in handcuffs of his hiding place for the last seven years, Assange shouted: “The UK has no stability”.

Assange hasn’t left the embassy since August 2012 – costing the British taxpayer more than £10m.

He feared stepping off Ecuador’s diplomatic soil would see him arrested and extradited to the US for publishing thousands of classified military and diplomatic cables through WikiLeaks.

A Metropolitan Police statement said: “He has been taken into custody at a central London police station where he will remain, before being presented before Westminster Magistrates’ Court as soon as is possible.

From RT:

https://twitter.com/RTUKnews/status/1116276959531667457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>April 11, 2019

UPDATE: We all knew this was coming; someday was today.

WikiLeaks Founder Charged in Computer Hacking Conspiracy

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Julian P. Assange, 47, the founder of WikiLeaks, was arrested today in the United Kingdom pursuant to the U.S./UK Extradition Treaty, in connection with a federal charge of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion for agreeing to break a password to a classified U.S. government computer.

According to court documents unsealed today, the charge relates to Assange’s alleged role in one of the largest compromises of classified information in the history of the United States.

The indictment alleges that in March 2010, Assange engaged in a conspiracy with Chelsea Manning, a former intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, to assist Manning in cracking a password stored on U.S. Department of Defense computers connected to the Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRNet), a U.S. government network used for classified documents and communications. Manning, who had access to the computers in connection with her duties as an intelligence analyst, was using the computers to download classified records to transmit to WikiLeaks. Cracking the password would have allowed Manning to log on to the computers under a username that did not belong to her. Such a deceptive measure would have made it more difficult for investigators to determine the source of the illegal disclosures.

…

THE INDICTMENT

One of those crazy conspiracy theories.
