So, where have I been?

Why I’ve been right here in the swamp cranking out words. It’s just that those words, about 94,500 of them, have displaced most other things and none of them have yet been made public.

Going into last fall, I had a novella and a short novel essentially ready to go. Then they, and much else, took a backseat for something different. They’re both still coming – in time.

What I’ll have first is a complete first for me, a Christian romance novel. It is utterly unlike anything I’ve written before and quite a bit different from the postmodern ordinary in the genre. I’m already calling it my favorite writing ever.

No information until she’s about to debut, which I hope will be before too long. I think or hope all will like it as much as I do. In parting, all I’ll leave is a quote, a pre-review from a literary heavyweight who is only part of the way into the manuscript: “…a beautiful portrayal of the relation of man and woman at the highest level.”

You’ll see it when you see it.

AGAINST ERASURE, book, nakba, Occupied Palestine

Americans increasingly cannot read. The dwindling few who can generally don’t. This is mildly frustrating for a writer who also reviews books. But as for conveying information about a very important subject, there still might be a way to reach the masses with a book. A picture book. Please take a look at the following work about Palestine before the Zionists turned it into a genocidal hell:

Against Erasure: A Photographic Memory of Palestine Before the Nakba

Also take a look at Azad Essa’s review at the Middle East Eye.

A General Review of General Intelligence

James Thompson reviewed The Science of Human Intelligence by Richard Haier, et al. It looks like an IQ tour de force.

It is a common trope among the uninformed that intelligence does not account for anything much in the real world. Being smart is being book smart, a rather limited ability. But this is not true. The authors show in tables that the relation between IQ and many desirable real-life outcomes is positive and significant. In contrast, the relation between IQ and many undesirable outcomes (e.g., schizophrenia) is negative and significant. Intelligence enhances and protects.

Other tables show more detailed relations between intelligence and workplace performance—which is high, especially for complex tasks. Despite searching for other contributing factors, including variables related to very specific jobs, a summary of thirty years of research on general and specific cognitive abilities concluded: “Still not much more than g” (Ree and Caretta, 2022).

Like it or not, g is the single best predictor of academic and occupational success. This section should be general knowledge, at least among psychologists.

…

The authors sum up:

Intelligence can be defined; measured; is reliable and valid; tests are not biased against populations when used properly; the general factor is the single most predictive score for a wide variety of real-world outcomes; and is linked to quantifiable brain features that appear to have developmental sequences; individual differences are influenced by genetics although details at the molecular level are only just being investigated; environmental factors are relevant though there is no clear model of their impact on the brain; the sources of average population differences are not agreed but are being investigated; there is no proven way of boosting intelligence though genetics may provide one; being more intelligent is no guarantee of being morally better (though you might be), but enhanced intelligence might help us solve important global problems.

It’s in my booklist, along with 50+ others. Based on Thompson’s review, it looks compelling.

book, Gonzalo Lira, psy-ops, Scott Ritter

Sometimes it pays to heed the advice of an expert – a real one, not the faux “science” kind. Scott Ritter broke down why he thinks Gonzalo Lira is now a mole, plant, or informant working for the SBU.

There is only one logical explanation for this chain of events. Gonzalo Lira was arrested by the SBU for crimes he himself admits gets people arrested, tortured, and murdered. He is released five days later—unharmed—and immediately allowed to resume the exact same activity that led to arrest in the first place, only this time on a computer and email account controlled by the SBU.

This is a classic “catch and release” scenario, with Gonzalo Lira playing the role of “police confidential informant”—someone who provides information in exchange for lenient treatment. There literally is no other plausible explanation for what happened other than this.

Read the whole excellent thing. I still hope he’s wrong, but I have to admit he makes a fair case based on his advanced knowledge and personal experiences and observations. I had not thought through the metrics he used to reach his conclusion. Regardless of what you think or want to believe about Lira, pay close general attention to Ritter’s reasoning and the psy-op methodology he cites. Understanding how (real) disinformation works will go a long way towards spotting future operations, hoaxes, and dangers. And we’re going to keep seeing them.

Also, I’ve added his book to my list. His review of a previous air landing in Novosibirsk (Новосибирск) sold me.

Having recently read it, I have added a third book by the late, great John Taylor Gatto to my education resources page. And I highly recommend Weapons of Mass Instruction.

In general, it is a shorter but thrilling expansion of his older books. But it includes a few personal stories of his I was unaware of – but not surprised by. Its also full of more examples of how the schools were designed to fail and wreck society and more examples of great men who defied the system and thrived.

Interestingly, Gatto got a very few things wrong. At the time of his writing, he still believed the tech giants were good guys. He’s to be forgiven for that as well as his false conflation of IQ realism and related matters.

All in all, a very good book by an American hero. Homeschool, unschool, be free, survive, and prosper.

I just finished and, at some point, I’ll do a review. This will be the feature on Monday’s PPN. For now, I’ll go out on a limb and call The Real Anthony Fauci the most important book of this young century. Buy it and read it.

Yes, Tuck has them apoplectic.

Liberals and leftists are absolutely apoplectic about Tucker Carlson’s week-long visit to Hungary. His shows featured views of the border as well-fenced (built after the 2015 attempted invasion) and peaceful, with migrants from Serbia being turned back—a far cry from Biden’s unofficial policy of welcoming migrants and putting them on planes and buses to be sent around the country to dilute any remaining places that are seen as too White, with the assumption that they will eventually vote Democrat when they get amnestied or they change the voting laws. (The NYTimes recently published an op-ed arguing there is no good reason why illegals can’t vote, so it’s definitely on the left’s wish list.)

On Monday Carlson opened his show with this:

If you care about Western civilization and democracy and families, and the ferocious assault on all three of those things by the leaders of our global institutions, you should know what is happening here right now.

You, of course, knew about the wonders of genuine proud civilization in Hungary last year – chapter 4. Ria!

A book recommendation from Vox Day, highly relevant to our current US situation. Unrestricted Warfare.

Unrestricted WarfareAs incredible as it may be to believe, three years before the Sept. 11 bombing of the World Trade Center a Chinese military manual titled Unrestricted Warfare touted such an attack – suggesting it would be difficult for the U.S. military to cope with.

Here is an excerpt from Unrestricted Warfare:

“Whether it be the intrusions of hackers, a major explosion at the World Trade Center, or a bombing attack by bin Laden, all of these greatly exceed the frequency bandwidths understood by the American military…”

Surprisingly, Osama bin Laden is mentioned frequently in this book.

Now NewsMax.com is making the CIA translation of this shocking book available to all Americans.

On a related note, I’m preparing to muddle through my first post-ban YT video for FP. We’ll see how that goes on Monday. Stay tuned. A very happy Saturday to you.

book, fiction, novel, really, really short book, SOLD OUT

A gift for you, dear readers! I had honestly forgotten that this summer, I wrote another novel. Yeah, how does one forget something like that? Dunno. It’s some fifteen times longer than El Dinosaurio, but it’s a book in that diminutive category.

Because you’re special, some sample text:

They both suspected, though they did not know, it would be the last time they ever saw him. Roberto was a man of few words. Naturally, he bolted out the front door without saying anything. A second later, his car passed by, zooming down Main Street towards an uncertain future.

Almost a year earlier, they had moved into the new building in the center of town. A town of pews and not of news, they thought it now. Sometimes time ticks by; sometimes it just ticks.

‘We’ve got to sell the paper!’ he said, frantically throwing business cards in the air like confetti.

‘Today’s copy, or the whole thing?’ she asked.

   ‘Both!’ he said.

Morina was the prettiest girl he’d ever seen. He figured he’d like to take her out for the evening. He did.

Here, because you’re really special, for free, is the whole thing: SOLD OUT (PL, 2020).
