Some are still okay.

InfoWars ran this video in a plausible attempt to show college students at Georgetown sympathizing with one o’ them mean ole tarrists:

To one degree or another, in their own ways, these young people kind of get it. The first girl identifies the Empire as white supremacy. From her perspective, that’s understandable. But, all of them see through the fog. They have limited experience and education, yet they all intrinsically know that the Empire is evil and commits wanton atrocities across the globe. Good.

Iran, lies, Soleimani, Trump, War

I wrote this week’s TPC column two days before the US Empire almost got what it deserved from Iran; the warheads reigned down about the same time that my article was published. Very few people, especially in the US Empire know or care about the truth in these matters (or any others). In response to the TPC bit, a comment was left (by a good guy, generally in favor of truth) which repeated some of the same propaganda that I pointed out in the column. Here, knowing more, I will [address] it:

What? This murderous thug was in Baghdad as a diplomat? [Trump was not in Baghdad; Soleimani was, in fact, there and as a diplomat, requested by the SOVEREIGN government of Iraq and apparently with Trump’s tactic approval]. The guy was in Baghdad planning the next mischief of the Iranian-backed militia after they had attacked the American embassy the day before following the attack the previous week in which several Americans were killed. [There was no attack on the US Imperial Green Zone fortress embassy. With the other “attacks,” we play ultra-loose with the definition of “American,” no?]. He was not home in Iran having breakfast with his family. [Most fortunate for his family, less so for associated IRAQI government officials that he was with]. He was behind enemy lines in a war zone. [He was requested and welcomed there by the “enemy.” The war zone was created and maintained by the US Empire]. If he was in civilian clothes he deserved to be treated as a spy and subject to being hanged. [Whatever his attire, he was there at the express diplomatic request of the SOVEREIGN Iraqi government to serve as a mediator].

Tom Ironsides had a similar, if fictional exchange, recently. He, of course, knew more then than we do now. Like Tom said in the story (but in real life), everything you hear from the US Imperial government and the mainstream propaganda agents is a lie, more fictional than any of my stories. The truth about Soleimani’s DIPLOMATIC mission and subsequent murder:

Desperate to justify the US drone assassination of Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insisted that Washington had made an “intelligence-based assessment” that Soleimani was “actively planning in the region” to attack American interests before he was killed.

President Donald Trump justified his fateful decision to kill the Iranian general in even more explicit language, declaring that Soleimani was planning “imminent attacks” on US diplomatic facilities and personnel across the Middle East.

“We took action last night to stop a war,” Trump claimed. “We did not take action to start a war.”

Trump’s dubious rationale for an indisputably criminal assassination has been repeated widely across corporate media networks, and often without any skepticism or debate.

At a January 3 State Department briefing, where reporters finally got the chance to demand evidence for the claim of an “imminent” threat, one US official erupted in anger.

“Jesus, do we have to explain why we do these things?” he barked at the press.

Two days later, when Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi addressed his country’s parliament, Trump’s justification for killing Soleimani was exposed as a cynical lie.

According to Abdul-Mahdi, he had planned to meet Soleimani on the morning the general was killed to discuss a diplomatic rapproachment that Iraq was brokering between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Abdul-Mahdi said that Trump personally thanked him for the efforts, even as he was planning the hit on Soleimani – thus creating the impression that the Iranian general was safe to travel to Baghdad.

There is much more – the deeper story:

The assassination of Soleimani is the U.S. lashing out at its steady loss of influence in the region. The Iraqi attempt to mediate a lasting peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia has been scuppered by the U.S. and Israel’s determination to prevent peace in the region and instead increase chaos and instability.

Washington has not achieved its hegemonic status through a preference for diplomacy and calm dialogue, and Trump has no intention of departing from this approach.

Washington’s friends and enemies alike must acknowledge this reality and implement the countermeasures necessary to contain the madness.

Action, reaction. There are many reasons why the Iraqi parliament voted to expel the US Imperial military from their (not our) country. The same reasons why the Iranian parliament voted to designate the entire Imperial military a terrorist organization (not much has changed since 1861 in this regard). Time to get out. Past time. Things might be different if these two nations were located between Nevada and Tennessee, but they are not. Leave well enough or ill enough alone.

Six More Lies About Iran

Iran, lies, Trump, War

The following was made just before Iran culled the Predator fleet, and it misses several additional lies and omissions. But, it’s very good.

You can tell it’s accurate (if incomplete) because the CIA Youtube put the stamp of truth on it:

Screenshot 2020-01-09 at 10.13.18 AM

Number Seven: Soleimani was our ally, fighting WITH Imperial US special forces, in Afghanistan, from the beginning of that ginned-up lie of a war.

Number Eight: The Pentagram can’t even provide a single concrete excuse for Soleimani’s murder. Even dumbshit Republican Senators are noticing.

Number Nine: The US Imperial mercenary contractor (with a CIA-connected company) and baby-anchored naturalized American US “citizen” was an Iraqi.

But, the shit stupid people love their lies. Nisti Servitus.

CNN will reportedly pay off Nick “Covington Boys” Sandmann for their malicious, racist, anti-Christian smearing of him.

Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann received reportedly has received a settlement from CNN after suing the far-left network for smearing him last year.

“CNN agreed Tuesday to settle a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann,” Fox 19 reported. “The amount of the settlement was not made public during a hearing at the federal courthouse in Covington.”

Sandmann also filed lawsuits against The Washington Post and NBC Universal, each for $250 million or over, and is reportedly planning to “sue Gannett, owners of The Enquirer.”

Sandmann attorneys Todd McMurtry and Lin Wood filed a $275 million lawsuit against CNN in March of last year in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

“CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals’ homes,” Wood told Fox News’ Mark Levin last year. “CNN couldn’t resist the idea that here’s a guy with a young boy, that Make America Great Again cap on. So they go after him.”

Hit ’em where it hurt$. SANDMANN 2040?

Iran Targets US Airbases in Iraq

Yes, Orange Man, actions have consequences.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper arrived at the White House late on Tuesday after Iran fired missiles on at least two Iraqi air bases hosting U.S.-led coalition forces.

A White House spokeswoman said President Donald Trump has been briefed on the attacks as is monitoring the situation closely. Vice President Mike Pence has been in contact with congressional leaders, a Pence spokeswoman said.

Hopefully, the adult in the room, Vladimir Putin, is monitoring this too.

UPDATE: Holy Hell, the lies are flying on the CIA MSM. For the record, we haven’t had trouble with Iran since 1979. It was 1953 – when the US started attacking Iran.

IF and IF NOT: New Year, New War?

(About the Iran Debacle)

This is perhaps the third completely rewritten version of a column I started on Sunday evening, after a refreshing impromptu luncheon with MB and Da (most delightful gentlemen, both). Part of our conversation veered to The Trump, Iraq, Iran, and the fate of the world. None of us, like everyone else, had any definitive answers for certain recent developments. Here follows, in admittedly imperfect form, what I can muster at this point; you most assuredly know the news as reported.

Preliminary Matters

On Friday, January 20, 2017, Donald John Trump stood on the steps of the Capitol and proudly, brashly proclaimed: “From this moment on, it’s going to be America First. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.”

In an earnest moment of clarity, he went on to say: “We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world – but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.”

Later, towards the end of his speech, he embraced the Wisdom of King David (Psalm 133:1): “The Bible tells us, ‘how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.’” If I remember correctly, at the time, I found the words refreshing, inspiring even. With all due respect to the Lord, the great King, and the unified People, I’m tempted to ask what the hell happened? I know just enough to resist the temptation. Instead, I offer “If” and “If Not” philosophical scenarios.

Also: virtually everything you’ve been told about foreign affairs and modern history by the government in Washington and by the CIA, I mean by the mainstream media, is utterly false. Most of what you’ve been told about the history of the past two centuries is largely fictitious as well. Three things of late to consider: ISIS, a mercenary, and a mob. Regardless of what lies you’ve been fed, ISIS was created by and is funded, equipped, armed, trained, and directed by the CIA and to a lesser degree the DOD; its purpose is to destabilize the Middle East for the benefit of Israel and Saudi Arabia. A US mercenary, called by some a “contractor,” was killed while serving as an advisor to ISIS, the blame being placed on Iranian General Qasem Suleimani. Suleimani is credited with keeping ISIS out of Iran and also with defeating or nearly defeating ISIS in Iraq and Syria. For his trouble, the US Empire killed him last week. But first, he was blamed for another lie – the mob siege of the fortress-like US Imperial Embassy in the middle of the damned green zone in Baghdad. That attack, I am convinced, never happened. What was shown on television, a crazed cowboys and indians show, was a scripted performance, not unlike a scene (also in Iraq) that deceased German journalist Udo Ulfkotte described in his book, Gekaufte Journalisten (Bought Journalism). The drone strike on Suleimani was unfortunately real. It’s the “why” that everyone is having a hard time with.

IF

Around the time of my first drafting of this article, I began to hear rumors of Machiavellian, or Trumpian, nature. That 4-D underwater chess stuff the Q brigade is always “patriots stand!”-ing about. What if the rumors are right? What if all this fuss and the assassination of Suleimani was orchestrated not to start a war, but to prevent (or end) one.

…

THE WHOLE THING AT TPC

UPDATE: Looks like a real shooting war.

I’d suspect they are targeting offensive air capabilities. If they immediately go after the carriers and also have S400s, then this will get very dicey. Thank you grabblers.

TPC, War

I’ve submitted this TPC column, in which I do my best to break down the GREAT volume of what I’ve read and heard about the Iran mess. The facts will likely shift before and after publication. So be it. That, here, when it hits. Standing sentiment – nothing is as it seems.

Get out! That’s the plain message from the Iraqi Parliament to the US Empire.

The Iraqi parliament called on the government on Sunday to work to end all foreign troop presence as a backlash grew after the killing of a top Iranian military commander and an Iraqi militia leader in a U.S. strike in Baghdad.

A resolution passed by a special session of parliament said the government should cancel its request for assistance from a U.S.-led coalition.

Parliament resolutions, unlike laws, are non-binding to the government. But this one is likely to be heeded: Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi had earlier called on parliament to end foreign troop presence as soon as possible.

“Despite the internal and external difficulties that we might face, it remains best for Iraq on principle and practically,” Abdul Mahdi said.

If The Trump has half a brain, he can prove it by going ahead with the total withdrawal with or without Iraqi action. The option also remains best for what’s left of America on principle and practically.

And, did Ivanka cry just before this last utterly idiotic blunder? Maybe over the fate of the ill-placed ISIS trainer?

UPDATE: this coming week’s TPC column will center on the Trump-Iran-WW3 lunacy, in exactly what fashion I do not know; not thrilled about my draft. That, here, later.

The Trump hits more “pro-Iran” targets. He’s propping up the ISIS-Israel Axis (again).

Whether he is eating ice cream or not, Trump appears to be on a rampage to recreate the end of The Godfather.

Less than 24 hours after a US drone shockingly killed the top Iranian military leader, Qasem Soleimani, resulting in equity markets groaning around the globe in fear over Iranian reprisals (and potentially, World War III), the US has gone for round two with Reuters and various other social media sources reporting that US air strikes targeting Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units umbrella grouping of Iran-backed Shi’ite militias near camp Taji north of Baghdad, have killed six people and critically wounded three, an Iraqi army source said late on Friday.

May have more at TPC next week. Or not.
