This humble little web-log began on a burning hot afternoon in the summer of 2012. There were several false starts. Then, on January 14, 2015, nine years ago today, things began rolling on a regular, semi-professional basis. If I ever achieved coherence, it was purely accidental.

Today, we stand somewhere around 6,000 posts over the past dozen years. It’s not going to be 6000 and out. But there will be a few changes, starting now. I have many things to concentrate on so I will likely reduce the daily postings, especially concerning current events (and double-especially those current events pertaining to the USA). At some point this year, I hope to bring you a major announcement, one that will most likely involve either a bit of a format change here, or the creation of совершенно новый блог! Stay tuned.
