The last war the yankee empire won was WW2 – won with, let’s just say, tremendous Soviet assistance. The Russians of today annually honor the sacrifices of their grandfathers, and they remember their American allies who helped them. A few of those allies, men pushing 100 today, are still around. Some of them evidently wanted to visit Moscow this week to see or participate in Russia’s Victory Day celebrations. Someone in DC had other ideas.

The US government intimidated several WWII veterans who wanted to fly to Moscow for the Victory Day parade, Russian ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov claimed on Monday.

US officials have blocked US veterans from reuniting with their Russian comrades in arms for the second year in a row, Antonov announced, even threatening to cancel their passports if they flew to Russia.

“We want the American soldiers to know that Russia is proud of their contribution to the common victory. The hostile US policy will not undermine the spirit of camaraderie during the Great Patriotic War. We consider it our duty to defend the truth about these heroes,” the ambassador said.

Got that? (((Blinken))), (((Garfinkle))), (((Nuland))), and (((more))) refused to help honor men who defeated Adolph Hitler’s Germany, threatening them instead. Pathetic and wicked. Join with the decent, sane Russians in saluting this final generation of US warriors. If this episode doesn’t at least heat the old collar, then something is very wrong with the wearer.
