Not Good For Anyone

President-select Donaldo Trumpstein is seemingly hellbent on quickly making the GAE as large as possible before it collapses (soon).

In addition to renaming the Gulf of Mexico and stealing most of the rest of North America into the GAE’s doomed keeping, Trumpstein is about to get serious with those dastardly Palestinians who keep having the audacity to genocide themselves.

He repeated his desire for US control of the Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada, while emphasising that “all hell will break out” if captives held in Gaza are not released before he takes office.

When asked to explain what he meant at the news conference, Trump baulked: “Do I have to define it for you? All hell will break out if those hostages aren’t back.”

“If they’re not back by the time I get into office, all hell will break out in the Middle East, and it will not be good for Hamas, and it will not be good, frankly, for anyone. All hell will break out. I don’t have to say any more, but that’s what it is,” he said.

If you voted, this is in part on you.

Heavy Leaded Decline

The Romans may have traded water pipe efficiency from lead for maintaining the higher average IQ of their population.

Widespread lead pollution in the Roman Empire may have caused cognitive decline across Europe that lasted nearly two centuries, a study has found.

The intelligence quotient (IQ) of an average resident of the ancient civilization is likely to have fallen by 2.5 to 3 points as a result of exposure to the toxic metal, according to the paper, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Monday.

Scientists, who studied chemicals contained in ice cores extracted in Greenland, said they found that lead pollution in the Roman Empire rose sharply after 15 BC and remained high until the decline of the Pax Romana, a stretch of peace and prosperity that ended in AD180.

2,000 years from now, researchers may find evidence of the fake vaccines and other poisons that helped do something similar to Murikan IQs. The Yankee decline is more pronounced, already, than just 2 or 3 points due to essentially convincing Americans with brains not to have children while simultaneously importing mentally substandard foreign invaders.

Tolkien, Philosophy, and Russia

The Tree of Woe contemplates some heavy Tolkienisms of late.

Is Tolkien our Goethe?

To claim J.R.R. Tolkien is a figure comparable to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is to claim that Tolkien is a world-historical figure whose work is emblematic of an entire civilization. It is, as the kids say, “kind of a big deal.” Indeed, such a weighty claim would take a book to fully demonstrate. Here I can only sketch the outline of why Tolkien might be worthy of such regard.

As luck or Ordination would have it, Princess Vittoria Alliata di Villafranca of Sicily, the Lady who as a young woman translated The Lord of the Rings into Italian, just did an interview, mostly in English, about Sicily, Russia, multipolarity, and, or course, Tolkien. Give that a whirl HERE.

EULOGY: Farewell, Mr. President

Farewell, Mr. President

I remember, not quite like it was yesterday, walking and standing in the Mississippi National Guard Armory in November 1980. I suppose I was physically present for something similar in 1977, but I really can’t remember that as yesterday or any day. But at the time, in the fall of ‘80, I was a little too young to vote. Mom and Dad, however, were of age, and they both voted to reelect the South’s man, a Georgia peanut farmer nicknamed Jimmah.

James Earl Carter, Jr. was the 39th US President, in office from 1977 until 1981. On Sunday, December 29, 2024, he died at the age of 100. No doubt, many of you already knew that before you made it here to my make-shift column.

And most of you have probably formed your opinions about Carter, his life, and the legacy of his administration. Some say, or, rather, many say, that he was a much better ex-president than an in-office chief executive. Personally, I lean that way, though my understanding of Carter, the US, and geopolitical history might be slightly outside the norm.

It is my opinion that many of Carter’s policies, domestic and foreign, were misdirected, ill-conceived, or plain ruined by the then-developing Deep State. See, for example, the works of Zbigniew Brzezinski. It is also my opinion that Carter was the final “real” American president who genuinely had the best interests of the American people in his mind and heart. Following his 1980 defeat to Reagan, the office, like almost all others of any importance, has since been held by some shade of Clown World agent.

As I’m typing this one out, much is being made of con man Donaldo Trumpster’s coming second take on the idea of “America First”. I would say it looks less like America first, or second, or even last, and most like America never. To wit: the Trump has assembled a cast of gutter clowns that appears to be 99.7% NON-American. One of these foreign invaders, speaking about bringing in even more foreign invaders, told the MAGA brigade to “Take a big step back and FUCK YOURSELF in the face.”

In the face, no less…

Jimmah was a lot of things, but no one would have ever conceived of such wicked stupidity blasted at heritage Americans on his watch.

As I’ve noted before, Carter was the only American president I ever met. I found him and Mrs. Rosalynn to be among the very highest and best kind of people available. For the short time longer that it lasts as a semi-unified political entity, the United States will not see Carter’s type again. The good and true former First Lady died last November. The best part of this story will be the reunion of these two lovers, married since 1946. Mike Luckovich’s late AJC cartoon sums up the reunion nicely.

So, thank you, Mr. President, for all you did, in and out of office, and for the honor of our brief acquaintance. Godspeed, Jimmah! Requiescat in pace.

Deo vindice.

Resistance Beats Humiliation

Costantino Ceoldo posted a Q&A with Alireza Nikam about Iran, Syria, the West Asian geopolitical sphere, and more. They delve into the present and future of Palestine too:

5) What will become of the Palestinian people?

A) The people of Palestine have proven over the past century to be among the most resilient people. They have emerged steadfastly from the numerous genocides committed by Israel and have continued their struggle without faltering. The destiny of the Palestinian people is defined by their fight, resistance, and steadfastness against occupation and oppression. The Axis of Resistance has always believed that the liberation of Palestine is a religious, humanitarian, and strategic duty that must be pursued through various political, military, and cultural means. Palestinian resistance groups such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other fighting forces have strengthened their military capabilities with the support of the Axis of Resistance. Armed resistance remains the primary strategy to counter the aggressions of the Zionist regime and establish deterrence, that is a reality well understood by the Palestinian people. In the ongoing war in Gaza, the Zionists demanded that the people of Gaza hand over Hamas fighters to end the attacks on civilians. However, not only did the people refuse to betray anyone, but the number of individuals joining Hamas has grown daily. The Palestinian people have learned that resistance is better than humiliation in the face of the enemy, and they consistently prioritize this principle in their actions. With God’s help, the people of Palestine, through the heavy blows they have dealt to the Zionists and their unwavering resistance, will ultimately bring their enemy to its knees.

I have not given up completely on the Murikan people, though I might get to that point sooner than later. They, especially the myopic 17th century hedge fund time travelers of the South, have a difficult time relating to anything or anyone they are not. Even if they might, or especially if they might benefit from a little comparison. Syria, for example, is offering a real-time look at Yugoslavian style Balkanization with wild mayhem and violence, things Murikans might want to acquaint themselves with. Maybe they’ll get to that after Trumpstein and his crew of foreigners, zionists, and deviants make Murika furst agin’ or something.

I’m sure your priest or preacher will address this on Sunday. If you’re in a Murikan circus “church”, then let all of them know that while the genocide is real, the Wailing Wall is fake (as Christians already knew).

President Putin is confident of both.

God is with Russia, President Vladimir Putin has said, expressing confidence that Moscow would prevail in its conflict with Ukraine.

Putin spoke with reporters on Thursday after a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) in St. Petersburg.

Asked whether he believes that the Ukraine conflict will end in 2025 with a Russian victory, he said: “I believe in God. And God is with us.”

Western leaders don’t and can’t make such statements.
